Helpful friendly staff. Good selection of food from the cabinet or the blackboard menu us a FANTASTIC vegan menu. Comfortable rustic atmosphere. Large log fire warms the place on colder days. Nice place to visit when passing through or if you live in Amberley. Recommended.
Really good mince pie and good price too. Oh, and the coffee was one of the best I've had on NZ so far.

We took the grandkids for lunch here. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. They have magazines to share and a nice touch was a shared jigsaw puzzle. The kids milkshakes were lovely and the coffees were similarly delicious and well presented. We were able to order three sizes of coffees, small medium,large, and bowls, all of which had sample cups to show how big each was.
The service was quick and the lovely waitresses were cheerful and welcoming.

Wow! This place is awesome, lovely helpful staff, very tasty fresh food and a nice ambiance. The sign outside doesn't do this cafe justice but beyond that be prepared to be impressed. We called in on the off-chance while driving south, so pleased we did and we'll be back! Highly recommend.
Owner Zoe is brilliant, wants her customers to feel welcome and warm. Food is top notch and good value for money. We love the coffee and muffin special and the muffins are to die for!
Consistently substantial and well prepared food. Great coffee. Possibly the best avo mash and soft poached eggs I've ever eaten. (To date there was a cafe in Kensington, London that took that title but no more!)
Sitting in the lunchtime sun or beside the log burner on a cold winters day, makes for a most enjoyably relaxing time. The wait staff are friendly, personal and very helpful. Thank heavens The Topp Shop CafΓ© is one of my locals.

Comfortable atmosphere, food is alright. The hot chocolate I had was far too chocolatley, I just couldn't drink it- and I like chocolate, it wasn't nice. Staff were friendly tho, I would and do continue to go back here.
It's was amazzing I'm all ways smiling when I go I there. Customer service is fabulous... really lovely people grate energy. The chef makes the best chips and I love there peppermint tea.... And I love the music.

What an amazing place to have lunch out! I had the burger combo and not only were the burgers massive, mouth watering and delicious but the price was very reasonable and you got a drink and fries with it, so very happy overall especially with the service they provide, outstanding people that work there :)

Lovely time out in this cafe with very good food selection ,good prices and young , friendly staff. A real pleasure to stop in here at Amberley. We will be back to visit again. Plenty of seating too .
Good parking . Choice of indoor / outdoor dining . Humorous posters and entertaining TV , fill the brief time till your meal is delivered . Top quality fare at this busy cafe, well worth the visit .
