Never had a bad experience since new hardworking owners took over, this is now the best fish & chippy in the Hurunui, hands down. You can tell they care about what they produce. Will keep coming back. Many thanks.
Rocked up with signs of a very busy night. Asked for a meat pattie, of which they had sold out. Went out of their way & made us some from scratch. Absolutely stoked with the level of customer service they provided. Extremely friendly staff & awesome chips.

First off, nice modern clean shop. Lovely, polite staff. I ordered a fish and cheese burger and 1/2 scoop. Both were fantastic. Will definitely be returning. 10/10
Went to this fish and chips shop to enjoy some food. These guys know what running a good business is. Well oiled machine. Food was awesome and lots of it for a good price. It’s a bit of a drive for us to Amberley but going to do it next week again. Thanks for the lovely food and the friendly smile.
This is by far the best Fish n chip shop in Chch.
Love their crumbed fish, kumera chips and pineapple rings.
Then to be able to sit down and eat comfortably in the shop, makes the whole experience worthwhile.

Absolutely the best fish and chips I have ever had. Beautiful piece of hoki cooked perfectly, and the chips - OMG! Ate the lot, Well worth a drive from Christchurch just to go to Amberley Fish and chips.

Impressive. The chips are thick hand cut and perfect. One scoop is a generous helping indeed. The blue cod is so fresh and a decent size also, with perfectly judged light golden batter to die for. A quality experience. I can't stay away since discovering this place under new ownership a month ago.
