Fantastic Pub. Great food I would recommend the pate (amazing) and the blue cod..best beer batter I have tasted ...staff were great too! we will be back!
Loved the beers, the meat platter was soooooo delicious and the burger is waaaay too big for one person! Friendly staff and quick service. Top marks for this place!
The best pub food I've had in ages, really hit the sweet spot for me with fine craft beer not fake craft beer like most of the Queenstown bars that are in bed with the large breweries which serve up suds marketed as 'craft beer' ...oooh can you tell it's my pet hate!
A little piece of quintessential Queenstown / Arrowtown. Probably the best place to experience the fare, warmth and expectation of the region. We always return to the Fork and Tap every trip and are never disappointed whether by the warmth of the hearth or the ambience of the garden area you are never disappointed and just left wanting never to leave.
Awesome place. Great feel, fab beer and yummy food. Staff are awesome. Definitely recommend.
Everything about this beautiful little put is wonderful, the ambiance, the fireplace, and the food. Highly recommend.
My Friend and I had Lunch at this restaurant during our visit to Arrowtown, and I would definitely give a 10 to this place for their quality of food and customer service. The restaurant staff were very professional, friendly, and courteous especially Rosie who has joined recently. I felt really welcomed when she turned up to our table while we were having our food and asked us whether every thing is all right. I have had food at many restaurants in Queenstown area but nobody turns up after serving food. Hats off to her.
This restaurant was previously recommended by other guests and now we understand why. Besides, it is frequented by many locals who are usual customers and seem to be quite pleased with it. "Extensive menu with incredibly tasty food"
God willing, I'll be back!!!
Great food, good ale and friendly staff. Great just to sit and watch the world go by. Loved it!
Fantastic tandoori chicken pizza. Every time we head to Queenstown we make sure we visit and are never disappointed by the food, beer, gin & service! See you again in November.
Best pub in Arrowtown , quality craft beers , food and wines . With excellent staff and service
What a fantastic evening with friends. The beer was the best as was the food. Great atmosphere. The Irish band was awesome.
Yet another reason why Arrowtown is one of my town places in NZ.Great beer, great staff, absolute gem of a place.
This is a fantastic pub. Very friendly staff and great food. We will definitely be back on our next visit.
Great place and great atmosphere, felt like being among friends
Great rustic warm cafe/Restaraunt, great kids meal. Great generous sizes. Fantastic choice of seating inside or out!
Love the Fork and Tap after a bike ride into Arrowtown. Great beverage selection, good for kids, perfect pub food. A winner on a sunny day.
The 3 of us enjoy a Meatlover’s pizza, a large bowl of fries, and a pint of Goldpanner’s Lager here for a late lunch today. The food is reasonably priced, and the pizza has plenty of meat, and a delicious smokey homemade BBQ sauce swirl on top. The shoestring fries are very generous, and come with both a yummy aioli, and tomato sauce. The barmaid is kind enough to offer a couple of tastes of some of the 18 or so craft beers that are on tap, and no one objects to my choice of beer, as it is actually pretty good. Friendly staff, tons of seating options, inside and out, an interesting interior that reflects some of the gold panning history of Arrowtown. And who can resist the cosy warmth of a roaring fireplace.
Awesome atmosphere! Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was yummy!! Pizza tasted amazing. Great value for money. Would definitely come back here!
Great for a simple feed after a day on the slopes located in the heart of Arrowtown. Can get quite busy as pub is quite cozy but didn’t seem to bother the groups of families we saw while dining in.
The Fork and Tap is a gorgeous little cottage set in Arrowtown. Not a large menu, but the food is delicious! Decent drinks list and many tap beers to choose from. Very relaxed vibes and friendly staff. Great outdoor area and super cosy inside. We ordered the Tap Burgers which were yummo - I asked for no BBQ sauce but still got it, which was a tad annoying. Overall, a lovely place and I'd be keen to try their platters next time!
The fork and tap was recommended to us by the locals and it certainly did not disappoint. The cured meat plate was delicious and the Im still actually craving the salad that came with it. The homemade soup was delicious and perfect for the cold day. We also got a tasting plate for the beer and they all went well with the food
We always come here when we're staying in arrow town as its a great reasonably priced option. I had the burger which was maybe a little on the bland side but everyone I was with was happy with their meals (the carnivores delight pizza was the standout).
Atmosphere 5/5
Service 5/5
Food 3/5
Great local pub style place, with an even better atmosphere. food is ok, but it's places like this with the great atmosphere that make you stay and have many beverages
Popped in last Saturday for lunch and it was very enjoyable.
The food was excellent - loved the pate and then we had the pork belly burger and a venison sandwich (blackboard special) which was all YUM.
We both had a glass (or two) of the Amisfield Pinot Gris followed by a Brennan Pinot Noir which the barman recommended, and I'm glad he did.
It was a great way to finish a few days in Central Otago before flying back to reality!
Quality Craft Beers on tap and a decent menu.
Set up is abit obscure although outside setting would be awesome in Summer.
Foods great, fair portions but fairly pricey.
Best Tip: Some of the beers here have a high alcohol content, so make sure you have a driver or a feed to settle the blood alcohol levels.
Best Bite: Try the Chocolately Londoner Dark Ale, it's a gem!
Loved this pub. Food and beer all good. Wife and I both had the Seafood Chowder with toasted focaccia. Really nice. And they have Real Ale served how it should be from a hand pump. Fantastic. I was in heaven. I even bought the T-shirt!!
Came here with a sports team for about 3 nights in a row. We ordered off the kids menu because it was cheaper, we still got a good amount of food. They give you a HUGE amount of chips so it's better if you don't have a huge appetite to just order a meal with chips on the side. The Friday night live music provided a chill atmosphere and entertainment
So if you are lucky enough to take a drive to Arrow town whilst visiting New Zealand , for the love of all that is good and true, go and bask in the glory of The Fork And Tap. If you want to feel transported to a old school British pub with friendly staff, good food and banging menu options, this is the place. I’ll be back. I’ll be back.
Ps
Jalapeno poppers
Any of the pizzas?
The puller pork burger
❤️🔥
Fun! A locals hangout with tons of energy. Visitors also made to feel welcome. Came here 3 times. Lamb shank delicious. (And I normally don't like lamb!) Pizza was good. If you like thin crust, this is your pizza. I fell in love with a mushroom hot sauce that the owner's partner is in the process of marketing. Not for sale yet, but when it goes on sale, buy some! Getting seated is a little confusing. There is no hostess but menus available at the entrance. Go to the bar and they will direct you to available seating. No waitresses per se, just place your order at the bar.
Handsome, charming, and generous pub. A diverse selection of beers along with hand pulled cask ale served at room temp without carbonation. Bar staff were very helpful in discussing beer selections. Fish and Chips were a whopper in size.
A great place for lunch or dinner while visiting Arrowtown. Loved the pub atmosphere. Service was fast and very friendly. You order and pay at the bar, but the food is brought to your table. We ordered the pumpkin soup, haloumi salad, tap burger, and 3 hour roast. Everything was delicious!
Conviviality and helpful friendly staff. Food very good but a little limited in range. Good range of craft beers. Recommended
Great a gem. Warm fire. Cozy seating. Great selection of beers on tap. The bowl of fries was awesome. Pizza was tasty. If you need somewhere to relax and just enjoy the time with people you are with. I recommend highly
We were in Arrowtown and decided to stop here for dinner and a couple of drinks. Great choice, the pizza and chips were filling and well priced. Icing on the cake was the staff, enthusiastic and friendly. We we to to a place further up the street which was ok but these guys excelled themselves on hospitality

Ordered a couple of take away pizzas and chips. The pizzas had great flavours would highly recommend the carnivore and the Hawaiian, lemon pepper chips were yummy too.
Great place with homely feel and wonderful country pub atmosphere! The food is very good , and there is an interesting and varied beverage menu.
The inside tables are packed in and it can get noisy but is it a really nice space with an eclectic mix of its,s and pictures adorning the wall!
The outdoor spaces are a great way to spend a warm summers day with friends.
