When in Arthur Point, this is the place for dinner. It has heated outdoor sitting, but we chose to sit inside. Nicely situated just when i finished my onsen. We order the Tumeric and Potato Parathas, Pork Popcorn and Roast Beetroot The food was good. We enjoyed every bit of it. They have full range
Great pub stop out of the maddening Queenstown crowd. Awesome outdoor setting, nice range of tap beers too. Enjoyed some small plates as well. They're building a brew hall so hopefully expanding on craftees. Went back the next morning for coffee which was also excellent. Highly recommend.
A nice little place to just sit and enjoy a nice cold beer and a nice meal. The garlic bread was great. The only let down was the lamb. But I think the cook was having a bit of problems with the out door barbecue. The lamb was cold, but the rest of the meal was good
Great menu and drink choices with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Accommodated us without a booking.
Menu needs a little more detail - ordered a burger that turns out has quite a hot sauce and couldn't eat it. Was advised afterwards as if I should have known.
Food choice was really good, beetroot crumbed chicken delicious calamari just right and chorizo on pizza was awesome. Choice of ales was terrific and a great evening was had.

If you’re looking for a classic Apres-ski Pub in Queenstown, this is it. Owned by a local brewery Cargo has great beer, fun service, classic kiwi twist on pub food, and importantly amazing garden with big fire. They attract fabulous local artists and cater for groups. Awesome breakfast, coffee was great, highly recommended. Max and Kayla were very friendly and helpful. Good gluten free options as well.
Staff were super friendly, toilets clean (and not unisex yay!) and a great vegetarian choice on the menu. I had the onion bhaji burger and loved it! We also stayed till close and not once did they feel the need to ask us to leave despite us pushing the limit on a quiet midday week night!
Went for a nice meal and good beer. Beautiful weather made us enjoy their patio settings.
Good food options for vegeterians
Had recently changed hands - felt the slow cooked lamb was too dry - would have given a higher rating if it was served with a jus and the salad had a light dressing.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Cargo at Gantley pub, where I was greeted with a genuinely warm and friendly welcome by the delightful Elizabeth. The service was exceptional, and Elizabeth's recommendations for local beers and whiskey added to the enjoyment of my visit.
DO NOT drive by this place!! The lager and IPAs were incredible. They had multiple micro seasonal batch brews. The bar snacks of caramelized nuts and fries w aioli are AMAZING. NO Frozen fries here folks they know what they’re doing. The owners and workers are so friendly and have an amazing vision
The normal food were okay. Kids meal is kina not worth it. Best to just pinch off the normal plate.
The staff was amazing! Food was alright. Was a bit cold inside, but overall, it was just alright
Delicious food and must say “Outstanding Coffee”. We came here twice for coffee. Absolutely loved it !
