Well maintained, ablution facilities amazing , hot water and kitchen area great feature as well as the BBQ option in the park. Lots for kiddies, dogs. Safe clean camp ground. Electrical hook up easy . Nice dump area. Great walks around camp
Stayed one night,will definitely be coming back to stay longer, shower was hot. Toilets were clean.and the walks were beautiful. Prices are great and affordable, and payments online was easy. Place was clean.. was a safe...so please,if you stay there,do your part to keep it clean. Happy travels.

Located along the road to the Manawatu gorge, this park has great playgrounds for kids of all ages, including a flying fox. Has spacious fields for outdoor activities and training grounds, with a BBQ hut as well ready for use located by the playground. Also has a few walking tracks as well.

Awesome little playground with free barbecues and a flying fox for the bigger kids or young at heart. 3 separate playgrounds for kids of all ages. Will definitely be going back next time we pass through.
A nice peaceful place. There are public toilets, plenty of trees, a camping area, and the Manawatu and Pohangina rivers are only a short 10-15min walk away along a choice of walking/cycling trails.
Beautiful place, plenty of awesome things to do like play on the park,go walking on tracks,Ashurst river, plus camp or have a bbq with their free BBQs ready to go.
