Great cafe with a lot of open space and natural lighting. Food was excellently presented and tasted good, eggs were a bit too over cooked for poached. Menu had a variety of yummy dishes. Coffee was on point, and the staff were friendly. Not a long wait to be seated or for food to be brought out.
I had a good meal and the service was even better. I can't say enough about this place! . Incredible food and coffee, service is second to none! Next time I am in Auckland, I will definitely go here ...
Lovely place with nice atmosphere and good coffee. We ordered scramble eggs on gluten free bread and one avocado on bread and we were happy with it. Lovely ladies working here as well :) I also ordered a Zinger juice which I loved!
A dinky little cafe, in part of the Auckland construction extravaganza, but well worth the effort to find! Definitely up for a re-visit next time I'm in town.
Loved the totally non standard avocado on toast.
Ordered the egg benny. One is smoked salmon and the other is a classic style with bacon.
They are all delicious, with a perfect poached egg and a thick soy sauce and Dutch sauce to make it creamy.
The bread is thickly cut and baked well to resist the weight of the sauce and protein piled up on it.
After enjoying this meal and a cup of New Zealand organic tea, we really feel energetic and not so impatient.
I guess people don’t pay tips in New Zealand, so most of the restaurants service are poor. Food actually taste good. But the cutlery don’t look clean.
Awesome! Avo Toast as well as Eggs Florentine were both delicious. Good coffee too! Great spot for breakfast with ample seating that takes advantage of nice weather days.
great food and service. really nice chill vibe for a quick lunch dash, leisurely brunch or just a caffeine pick-me-up. great location but away from main roads n the usual noise n bustle associated with it.
Our first meal in Auckland and it was the perfect spot to start the vacation. The space is large, bright, and breezy with the open air lack-of-windows when the weather is good.
It’s a mixed use space where you can come here for brunch which is excellent or have a coffee and snack while you get some work done.
We both ordered eggs benny. One was a smoked salmon one while the other was the more classic style with lashings of bacon.
They were both delicious with perfectly poached eggs that provided the yolky thick sauce along with the hollandaise to make it rich and creamy.
The bread was thick cut and toasted well to hold up against the weight of the sauce and protein stacked on top.
We really felt energized and less jet-lagged after taking our time to enjoy the meal along with a cup of New Zealand organic tea.
The place is also located in a “quiet” street corner of the Auckland Central Business District which was a real bonus.
Overall, a great first meal choice here in Auckland for us.
Usual brunch menu, well done. Good coffee, average prices for Auckland. Service was friendly and unassuming. Nice interior, but location a bit feral, bring on the gentrification!
Avo toast is not on the menu if you are looking to order it. Good coffee good food. Very cozy place to eat and read.
Such a nice morning to have breakfast at Federal and Wolfe. The staff are super friendly, I had the avocado on toast, it was delicious and filled me up for the day! Sat by the window which really just made my morning. Great location, great coffee, great food and great staff. Would highly recommend for a business meeting or a brunch date with your significant other.
Friendly staff, table service, plenty of space. I had the pork eggs benny which was delicious. Great coffee also. I’ll come back
Great breakfast and coffee in Auckland. Would recommend. They were happy to accommodate my vegan diet and substitute the eggs.
A bit of a hidden gem in central Auckland! Very friendly and fast service, and great food.
Amazing first breakfast in New Zealand. Great service and equally great food and espresso.
