A cute cozy café on top of Wyndham with genuinely friendly service. You leave the place feeling positive (well, I did).
They have a very appealing deal, muffin/scone + coffee for only $5.00, I ordered a cheese scone and long black to go. The scone was lacking in the cheese flavor but who cares when its only $5 with your coffee. I might try their date scone next time, or one of their muffins.
They had a plate of chopped up pieces of caramel slice placed on the counter for customers to sample (very large pieces of samples too). The lady behind the counter offered me to try one out, saying it was new, and OMG it was so sweet, thick and full of caramel. I will definitely be back to get this caramel slice!
Came in after 5 and owners had just sold the cafe to a friend of my dad's. The new owners gave us some of the chocolate chip cookies and cheese scones to try. Cheese scones tasted a bit bland but I liked the chocolate chip cookies. They weren't too crunchy or soft. Don't be fooled by the cookie's bland appearance!
We went there last Friday for brunch. Super friendly staffs. Very welcoming. Food was great and its prices are reasonable. Coffee was also nice. Thank you for your awesome service ladies. 😃.
Went there in the morning before the courts meeting . Food was great . Loved the smoked fish pie and Angus beef pie . Even the sausage roll is really good . The best one I had in Auckland . Staff are friendly . Will be back soon.
I had their Beef stew recently. The meat was really soft and I quite loved its herby scent of the stew. The bread really went well with the stew. I didn't know very well about the lunch deal, but I am pretty sure that I will visit again to try.
Inner city gem
This is a great value option for breakfast or lunch in the inner city. We had a combo pasta and salad lunch deal and the coffee was excellent - $3 for an excellent flat white is unbeatable.
Stayed at Ibis Budget a few doors down. Lovely service. Had a large flat white and blueberry porridge. No frills, no dramas. Really warm and friendly folks running the place.
This is probably the cheapest cafe ever. I've never been to a cafe where the drinks come for free with the lunch meals and eggs benedict for $13. We got the beef stew and beef burger and for their price, it was pretty filling and tasty. The stew however, probably wasn't made on the spot because it was served way too fast. The taste for both dishes were pretty good except the stew was a bit salty. It was a satisfying experience considering it was a cold and rainy day as well.

Current fav cafe closed this week so I have been a mish to find a new cafe favourite. Saw this place and thought I would give it a go. When I first walked in here it actually reminded me of my beautician's room. Really fragrant smelling like perfume/scented candles, did not smell like a cafe (coffee/food smell) I thought that was quite weird. It's very updated with sunflowers decorating the interior walls of the cafe. Indoor seating only. 3 cabinets:pies/pastry, sandwiches and sweets/slices. I got a salami roll and got that heated. Also a homemade banana? and chocolate muffin.
So impressed with the roll. It was so tasty and that bread roll just yum. Super impressed with that and at $6 I thought it was very reasonable. The Banana and chocolate muffin was average, but at $2 I can't complain.
Very interested to come back here and try the other sandwiches/rolls. May have found my new fav cafe.
This place is definitely still gonna be on my to-go-cafe list! Stop going to cafes with photogenic and instaworthy food and ambience coz it's so pricey!
Although it doesn't have a nice environment as compared with others famous cafes in Auckland but their food was a YUMM! Go there soon coz they have promotion during winter time with free drinks when you order something on their menu during weekdays. Food was so cheap and affordable yet with a very big portions and staffs were so friendly as well. So glad to discover a cafe like this! 😝😝😝

They don't have too much on the menu, so I went for a coffee and got a nice organic one. in $5 you can get mascapone and large coffee which is good for everyday tea time hunger.
Also you get a card- get it stamped 4 times (by buying a coffee) and 5th coffee is free.
Interior wise it's spacious enough to sit and sip the caffeine packed cup of heaven.
Staff is really friendly and make you feel comfortable. Go there if you want have a nice time alone, or with friends.
Love this place. Good food. Excellent service. Not noisy. Not pricey. My friend and I were given our coffees and muffins for free last Christmas. Rare thing that.
The Coffe here is very good and even the food is so Organic very healthy .. I feel like home whenever i visit this place.. The staff is so courteous they go extra mile for every guest whoever visits their coffe shop especially Mr Pushkar the Barista guy makes amazing coffe which makes ur day awesome he is very dedicated towards his job and his coffee art is very commendable and also the other girl i forgot the name is also a great lady ... last but not the least the Owner of the shop she is very friendly she ensures everybody feels very special and their Menu is also designed very well from health point of view ...

I have been here for a cup of coffee several time in the morning but this is the first time that I have had breakfast.
I order bacon and eggs which I was very satisfied with its flavor and quantity.
You can choose the cooking style of eggs.
The coffee(Dirty Chai) was very good even though it gave me a little bit weird taste.I can't complain because it's my choice lol.
The staff were friendly as always.
Actually,I thought that they would give me free coffee if I order any dish from menu,unfortunately,they didn't.
Anyway,paying 13 $ for the dish and coffee is reasonable for me.

Very cheap and great range of food available. Staff are super nice and they even give you free coffee with a meal. They also use free range and organic ingredients so definitely worth a visit.
I stop by for breakfast really early most mornings...sure the pie warmers and cabinets are not full yet, but wow...what you get is the best cup of coffee ever..I haven't found a better one in the city yet...the most delicious and cheap breakfasts - example: $10 for a coffee plus bacon and eggs on special bread (that's 2 eggs done any way and about 6 slices of bacon) or there's the creamy mushrooms or french toast with bacon and caramelised banana's. Everything I have tasted so far is delicious. You also have the luxury of free newspaper, TV, lovely decor and real friendly staff. My next stop is to try the lunches which also look inviting and well priced. ( by the way; Hollywood next door does not compare as the food is well under standard, no free newspaper or TV to brighten the morning and are still setting up while Sunflower cafe is already set up o go). I highly recommend Sunflower cafe.

Fantastic service. Generous portions of food. Great coffee and plenty of seating. They had a promo where you get free drink of your choice with anything from the menu which was amazeballs.
Stopped into this cafe for breakfast with a colleague. Both ordered the bacon and eggs with a flat white and latte. No complaints from us! Just perfect! Coffee was definitely made with care by a well skilled barista and breakfast was equally as artistic!

This rates highly because of their coffee. Frequenting many cafes it's often difficult to find a damn fine mocha (my poison). Either they are too milky or too weak. This was perfect! Sign of a good barista.
Great breakfast choices and reasonably priced. I chose the bagel with cream cheese, again served with an excellent preserve..makes the world of difference. Much better than the cheap and nasty tubs of jam frequenting cafes!
In CBD area , nice flat white coffee with beef stew soup combo $13.50 . Beef is tender soup is yummy . Will go back and try other meal choices .

Wow, what a great little find on my trip to Auckland. I will definitely be returning. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon ($14.5) and regular flat white ($4). The Benedict was yummy with beautiful eggs and lots of hollandaise. The coffee was perfect, and actually more like a large. The prices seemed to good to be true, but the low prices did not affect quality of food. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Great service. Cafe even gave me table service!
Fantastic Flat white, espresso, and delicious breakfast. The homemade veggie quiche is brilliant and only 3.50!!! Great big hot breakfast options as well - A great place for breakfast no matter your budget! And the staff are super lovely! And of course, free WiFi and lots of outlets !
Coffee was good and not overpriced. The couple running the cafe on the Saturday when I was there were very nice and were clearly making an effort for their customers. As a vegetarian they were able to modify a dish for me, replacing an egg with a generous amount of avocado.

Hard to find a good value, uncomplicated, non-pretentious cafe in the CBD, as this.
I had beef stew from here and i think it was fairly good. Meat was soft and i quite liked its aroma. Lunch deal seems quite price-worth, so i think i am going to try next time. Coffee and teas are generally cheap like $3.
Excellent. I could not believe how good value for money this place is. Brilliant coffee $3- amazing, delicious, home made steak and red wine pie $4.80 including complimentary fresh salad if you like. Service excellent. Cafe, clean and contemporary. I will return.
Went in at 1645 and ordered a flat white and a chocolate banana muffin. Both of them them were served with good presentation. The barista was quite gracious and I never felt any pressure to leave. Excellent place. Will visit again.
Excellent service. Very nice and friendly. The portions are perfect to start your day and stay full for hours. The espresso is top notch, no sugar needed!
A neat wee cafe. Coffee is terrific, as is the food. I was a tourist here for breakfast, which was way better than having a hotel breakfast. Prices are very good and great table service.

Come here! In a sea of overpriced cafes, this place is good and affordable. And they do All Day Breakfast, which are the three most important words of English, in my opinion.
