I went out to celebrate the first weekend of level 2 and I am glad I found this wonderful cafรฉ. It took a while for me to choose, as the desserts all sounded delicious, I ended up going with the La Fleur - raspberry dessert. It was one of the most best desserts I've had! The outside of it had a thin layer of crunchy raspberry coating, and then there was a layer of vanilla mousse and then in the middle there was raspberry jam. I also had a hot chocolate that was warm and very nice.
I tried the Paris brest. It tasted really fresh and was quite light. It was not overly-sweet, which was nice.

I got a half portion of ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ-๐๐ฒ๐ท๐ฒ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ which was $17. Full one costs $24. It has eggs your style, hash, bacon, smashed avo, sausage, tomato and a toasted sourdough. I usually do not eat sausages but this I'Authentique Toulouse sausage was the bomb! Very juicy, meaty and thr herb was strong but not overpowering. The tomato was actually the highlight for me...maybe because it is season atm? The bacon was too crunchy and dried for me unfortunately but thank goodness it wasn't super salty!
๐๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ($9.50)is pretty much a giant Ferrero Rocher LOLLLL! It was chocolate mousse and some sort of caramelly-alcoholicy mousse which has a hint of almond for some reason?! The crunchy base was soooo gooood! Love the dessert as it wasn't too sweet, very suitable for an Asian taste hahahaha!
Good fitout, the renovations have given the cafe more of a French feel. Ordered the galette de pomme de terre, really good quality salmon, eggs poached well. Only came with one egg though so paid extra for a second.

Food was delicious, this is what I want for breakfast everyday. Service was good too :)
Lovely little French cafe in Auckland CBD serving coffee, breakfast and a mouthwatering array of sweet treats. Stopped here for a late brunch recently and loved it. Great ambience, quick and friendly service and most importantly outstanding food. Highly recommend it.
October 2022: The place is still cute and delicious. I also appreciate that they regularly innovate their cabinet with new dishes.
This place justifies it's French name. Delicious coffee and a favourable tiramiso that conviniently comes in a to-go cup - too much for now? Keep enjoying later.
Had a very nice big breakfast there. I especially appreciate that it is possible to order half a portion.
Still tasty and enjoyable.
Their hot latte taste so good! There is a little bit of toast smell, a bit of bitterness from coffee beans, and the smooth texture of milk. This latte is literally surprised me!
Nice savoury and sweet range. Quite enjoyed the chicken and mayo baguette sandwich. Coffee is also good and Iโm a big fan of the little coconut cake, simple and delicious.
Excellent food and coffee I loved my flat white there!
The food is very tasty and as a french guy,i can guarantee that they make proper French brunch.
The salmon omelette is just delicious and ยซLe grandยป is highly recommended for the one who are very hungry.
Delicious! French toast was very tasty and the big breakfast was perfectly cooked. The potatoe rosti was one of the best I've ever had. There wasn't much of a drinks selection if you don't drink coffee unfortunately. Place isn't large but also has outside seats. Would definitely recommend
This place was one of my highlights for breakfast in Auckland. Coffee was the best and excellently made, I couldโve had another. Service was fast, food didnโt take long to come out, it was a good portion for the cost, especially the avocado, food was amazing, eggs perfectly poached, whole breakfast menu was a little different. They also have free wifi, and nice outdoor seating. Put this one on your breakfast to do list.
Fantastic food! Probably best french toast we have ever had. Portions pretty good size and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly, professional and fast. Have seating indoors and out. Off the street but not busy. Close to the pier.
We like this place a lot as the food is very well made and the ingredients are proper and delicious.
The 5 star rating goes to the egg benedict with salmon, served on a potato hash. Very tasty, well balanced, and is available in a very civilised half-size.
I like pastries, but I don't like them too sweet. I changed to chocolate and a kind of bread. I want to say that this French cafe is exactly what I need. Hot chocolate is full of coconut, but there is not much sugar in it. I ate more dessert than I expected, and it was stuffed with hot strawberry jam (I think so). I will come back here for a Sunday brunch.
Amazing taste of pastries, good coffee, friendly staff!
Following a work family Christmas party we ventured into La Petite Fourchette for espresso before going home.
Staff was very friendly and the food cabinets with sweet treats were too beckoning to be ignored so with flat whites and a soy lattes, we also order salted caramel and pistachio macarons. The macarons were divine with chewy toffee like filling with vibrant flavour and a light crispy moorish casing.
It was a wonderful way to end a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended.
Plain croissant & Almond croissant are very very nice ๐ฅ๐ฅ millefeuille (chocolate) is superb. It is assorted and very neat & special ($8)
Absolutely in love with this place! I have been there 4 times this year and I have always left feeling satisfied. The food is amazing and the service is top notch! If I was able to rate more than 5 stars, I would.
Really enjoyed a weekday work lunch here. Everyone's meal was delicious and there were so many things on the menu that we will have to go back again. The service was prompt and accommodating. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
