We dined out at Ostro Brasserie & Bar in Britomart precinct and was instantly impressed with the service and restaurant interior as soon as we entered. From a very industrial looking entrance to the building to ascending the floors to the restaurant, it was stunning to walk into the reception area

Was there for a work function. Food was amazing and our lovely Scottish waitress was so attentive. I didn't take a picture of the carpaccio but it was the star of the meal. View of the docks is quite cool. I love the space and will be back. Its a great place for drinks with friends.

Was planning to have Sunday roast menu(started on 2july), need to book at least 8hours in advance, unfortunately we did not book, end up we had others on the menu.

Amazing view, great staff. This is fine dining so you are looking to spend on a main and side in terms of portion size. My wife who isn't usually fussy was not a fan of the sauce on the gnocchi dish.
