I can’t believe there’s a Thai vegan restaurant with no onion and garlic… got my heart pumping, ordered som-tom salad and Tom Kha Gai soup with jasmine rice…. Yumo yumo
Been here twice in a week. The food is fantastic! Highly recommend. I'm celiac and vegan so hard to eat out but the staff is wonderful/helpful and felt safe eating (no reactions either time). Will be going back again soon.
Fantastic restaurant! Crispy chicken on rice is very nice! It’s flavourful and tasty. Will absolutely come back again. We already have been here for so so many times but we never feel enough! The spicy chicken on rice is my favourite! It’s Korean style spicy 🌶️ so many options to choose from. Tom Yu
Choice little joint. Not big, but cosy. Really good portion size. Quick and friendly service. Great variety of options. Kung pow cauliflower was delicious, pan fried spring rolls were like an upside down tear pancake & awesome. Affordable and super yum. Recommend for a quick delicious meal
We had the vegan crispy pork belly. This dish should win a price or something. Very well made, taste, texture, colour wise. Very flavourful for a vegan dish. It can be difficult to get that depth in a dish. The fried tofu dish was also very good. Good tasting tofu, lots of vegetables.
First time trying out vegan food and it was unexpectedly good. Ordered crispy chicken with rice as well as spicy chicken and it was out of this world. The crispy salt & pepper tofu too, was delicious. Will come here again next time when I visit Auckland again!
Small thai vegetarian restaurant on High Street, and it always get busy during dinner time. Crispy chicken is one of their famous dish here and I second that, so crispy and delicious. Salt & pepper tofu was good as a side dish but not as a main IMO as it was a little dry to eat with rice. The portio
Well well well.... i had been transported to Thailand for the time of eating this delicious meal.. pad thai and red curry are the basics when trying a thai place for the first time. But it wasn't our first try. We love this place. Thank you for the chef and staff for the service, it was a delight. W
Awesome vegan food. Highly recommend the crispy chicken rice dish. Pad Thai was also great
I had the yellow noodles with vegan chicken and they were amazing! However the crispy tofu was the "soft kind" (texture wise) which is not my favourite. But I really recommend this place!
I have always loved this place, but since it changed hands I think it's been even better. It's clear the new owners are bringing fresh ideas to their menu, and as a long time patron it is appreciated. I can still go for my old time favourites, but I also get to enjoy a delicious dessert if I want. T
Everything here was delicious. Went back a second time on the trip because we couldn't eat everything we wanted to try on the menu the first time. My favorite was definitely the spicy crispy chicken, my partner loved their hot and sour soup.
If you're a vegan, this'll be your heaven. So many different options, whether you like mock meat or just plant based tofu and veggies, there's something for everyone. (Do yourself a favor and try the 'mutton: kebab and then the fried 'chicken'.) Bring your meat eater friends too! They'll adore tryin
I was first introduced to sunflower 🌻 3 years ago on the recommendation of many local friends who said this was the best vegan spot in the city. I have been a regular since then, and can confirm, sunflower never misses. I usually get the spicy chicken on rice & the red bean pancake. Both are to die
This place is a treat for vegans - must go. They have a huge selection of vegan dishes. We ordered spicy chicken, pancakes, green curry, pad Thai and curry puffs. The pad Thai was the best. My vegetarian friends loved the food, non vegetarians found it average. Staff was very friendly and helpful, p
Great place for vegan food and very tasty. Ordered the sunflower noodles with vegan chicken which was full of flavour. The portion can be a little more for the price of 19$. Will definitely be back.
The restaurant is located in the back of what looks like a food court. Keep heading back and follow the signs until you reach the restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and it is all surprisingly vegan. I ordered at the counter and then grabbed an empty table. I was given water after sitting down.
A beautiful place for vegetarians and vegan lovers. All the dishes from menu are worth to try. Good seating area. Quick service and friendly staff. Paid parking available as situated in the city centre. No onion and garlic used in food so suitable to dietary restricted people.
