This is a London style pub that’s looks the part and actually had English pub Food on the menu. We had a few pints and I grabbed the pie and mash, genuinely one of the better examples I’ve had especially outside the UK. Tucked away off the viaduct I’ll definitely be back for a quiet beers

A typical English pub, great food. Awesome pub quiz on a Wednesday night. A ton of different seating options. Small outdoor area and pool table.

Get the "bit of everything " platter. Everything homemade! Lovely jubble. Gin trees are worth the money! Very good priced pub especially it being on viaduct.

Food is always nice but every time we go on in we get told they serve food until different times so it’s a bit frustrating because Google says 4am. Drinks can also be expensive in here. Always a good atmosphere though when a big sports team are playing. Gluten free options as they use different dryers which is amazing

This place is amazing. The food is classic home cooked goodness. Our 8 year old gave it 110 stars out of five and id say thats about right

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The food was very generously portioned and came out quickly, well presented and flavourful even for our big group. Big thanks to the whole team involved

Delightful lunch before reboarding our ship to Sydney. Service was great & the Fisherman's basket ample enough to share, say nothing of being VERY tasty.

Great service and great selection of drinks. Gin tree was an excellent choice for me and my friend to share. We ordered food as well. Fish & chips was perfect however chicken salad was way to grease and chicken nuggets in it tasted double fried.

This is easily our go to for any sports events! The service at the recent Rugby World Cup was absolutely unreal and far exceeded any expectations! It was so well organised and the staff dealt with the sheer volume of people so well and with smiles on their faces! Two bars open, meant no real queuing for drinks and a yummy breakfast menu was perfect! The atmosphere was fantastic. I have to give a special shout out to Wendy who was just so lovely and so incredibly accommodating (thank you Wendy - absolute star!) Really made our experience so great! (We love watching UFC there too!)

I had an amazing time at this pub, was there for a friends 30th last night, from the get go, The security staff here were great, I felt safe and well-looked after throughout my visit. They were professional, friendly & inviting (which you can’t say for all bars in AKL) The bar staff also deserve a special mention; they were also polite and attentive, and I didn’t have to wait long for my drinks Overall, a great experience. I'll definitely be back soon to try the Sunday Roast 🙂

There's an amazing 2 course Sunday roast they do... costs $39 a head but definitely worth it. Also had British drinks like Bishop's Finger ♝

A busy night with only one outdoor table available when we arrived and the same night as the Chiefs v Crusaders final. My wife and I were looking for a meal, a drink and a place to watch the rugby and this fit the bill. I have been here several times over the years and will continue coming back - food and drink prices are about average, and the food was good.
