Will forever love this place, definitely worth the wait as they are always soo busy. Their savoury pancakes are bomb, my personal fave is the chicken and cheese. I also like their cinnamon sugar pancake.
I have been going to this place since university. It served me well then and still serving me well now. Depending on the time you go, you can expect a bit of a wait but honestly, they are worth it. My go to is the beef and cheese with a sprinkle of chilli powder.
At $6 a pancake this Korean pancake street food stand is a winner - especially on a cold winters afternoon in the city.
A new discovery for me Lorne street is choc-abloc with lovely street food finds like this one, several coffee and Asian hole-in-the-wall style eateries and dumpling stores as well as a convenient “shop-it-cheap” Mini-so right next door to this pancake haven. Pretty much a teen haven that caters to the trendy and hungry uni crowd in the area.
Liked:
1. Cheap prices - $6 a pancake
2. Had the ham and cheese and the ham and pineapple as we were in the mood for savory but I will definitely go back for the other savory selections and the sweet pancakes which make a great dessert filled with chocolate etc.
3. No seating but just love the long bright blue benches just outside the store stand the that you can stand by to finish your pancake and people watch
4. Uni Crowd with lots young adults and some queues but well worth the wait.
I was too busy enjoying every bite to take a photo of the pancake but I will the next time I make a pancake stopover in the city.
Got the red bean with cheese and double cheese. Really cheap for $6. Nice easy snack. Busy at lunchtimes but really nice fluffy pastry and mozzarella used
No1 Pancakes is a great place in town for some amazing, served hot and fresh pancakes to have on the go. The service provided by the staff is amazing and quick. I only wish it could be available in more locations. But love them
Weather is still slightly cold when there is no sunlight and a hot red bean korean pancake is the best to keep you warm. The pancake was pressed flat but it was full of red bean filling. If you eat it straightaway (although it is super hot) the outside will be slightly crunchy :)
It is not too expensive ($4.5 for the red bean one) so it’s a relatively affordable snack street food
This little hole-in-the-wall stall is my favourite place to get dessert in town. They have the nicest Korean-style pancakes which is quite different to normal pancakes; it is a crispy chewy pancake with a various types of fillings that oozes out the side everytime you bite into it (always gotta be careful not to burn your tongue/lips. The original pancake is the cinnamon&sugar one, and I also like the chocolate and red bean fillings. They even have savoury ones with melted cheese inside, which kinda taste like pizza in a way. I really recommend you to try them if you haven't, because you really are missing out on gold😆
Love this little Gem. Had the Beef cheese and bacon cheese. Great snacks also had nice condiments available. Would recommend for a fairly priced on the go snack.
One of my favourite places to go when I’m in need of a warm snack. You can never go wrong with no.1 pancakes- the crispy yet soft and chewy dough combined with their savoury fillings is the best. My all time favourite is beef and cheese.
Great service! Very filling and not expensive at all! Makes for a great morning tea or afternoon snack! And if you catch it at a good time isn’t much of a wait either! Highly recommend!
It is called “Jeon” in Korea but you don’t have to travel all the way there just to try it, if you’re in Auckland just go to the CBD in the corner of Wellesley and Lorne Street and you will find this place. I passed by this place many times and I never gave attention to it because there is always a huge queue of people waiting for their orders to come out, I just had no patience. Then one day we planned to pass by here on a weekend night near its closing time to avoid the queue, yes there were few people but due to its popularity they run out of pancakes to sell that day. Ohh well this means I have to plan this for another day.
haven't been here in awhile, but their pancakes are so yummy! price is good and service is good.
i used to always come here after my maths tutoring and it was always a lovely treat.
The pancakes there are sooo good, price is cheap and service is great. I’ve eaten there so many times and still not sick of it. Highly recommend
I like the beef cheese the best. This place always delivers on flavour and quality, and is excellent value for money. Great place for a snack or small meal.
Omg!! The best cheap pancake that I ever had!!! Read bean is amazing, the chocolate it’s the best, the chocolate is hot and will melt in your mouth. Best feeling ever!!!
Absolutely amazing place to visit any time of the day for any type of meal. The staff are very responsive. The variety in the pancake menu has something for everyone, offering both sweet and savory flavours. Yet to find another place that is able to match the taste of these pancakes!
Food: good variety of pancakes from sweet to savoury. Hot and freshly fried.
Atmosphere/Interior: it is a small food stand with small place for frying or grilling pancakes. No tables. Go on non-rainy days.
Service: minimal. Speed over friendliness.
Parking: Hard to find parking. Walk if close by.
This can be the best pancake in Auckland. Always so busy. Especially at lunch time. But it's hot and crispy, cheesy and taste delicious.worth to wait

Best Korean Style Pancakes in New Zealand.
These have been my childhood favourite since I was in Korea and it’s quite amazing how they can make it this good here too.
Prices have gone up a lot over the years but they still maintain their standards.

Got these pancakes for lunch through MealPal. Such great value of money. 1 lunch coupon for 3 pancakes. We got potato&cheese, kimchi&cheese and cinnamon&brownsugar. All delicious and no queue for me. Friendly staff as well.
Absolutely love this place!! If you’re ever on Lorne St, you better grab a pancake or two. I always come here for a quick bite especially during uni. These pancakes are worth the wait so don’t be intimidated by the long queues and people waiting by the place. I usually get the beef cheese pancake and chocolate pancake. The beef cheese pancake is like your classic Korean beef bulgogi but in a pancake so if this is your jam, definitely give it a try. The chocolate pancake is perfect for chocoholics and those who have a sweet tooth. The chocolate is melted inside so it oozes out when you take your first bite. The pancakes are hot and fresh off the pan so be careful when you take the first bite and give it a few mins to cool down a bit.
These pancakes taste so good. Kinda pricey though. I’ve been there a couple times and although the wait is quite long, it’s worth it. I always get the red bean pancake. Definitely a favourite.
I literally come here all the time. I only get the potato cheese flavour cause it’s a combination of my 2 favourite things. It’s served straight off the stove so it’s hot and it bleeds oil which is one of the best things about their pancakes. The sweet options are $1 cheaper, however keep in mind that they do end up being smaller.
It was a little expensive to see the price, but it was enough to make the person happy to eat which size was enough for meal.It is a place that enriches the minds of students who do not have enough pocket money.

They always have a long queue - and it’s not disappointed because the pancake it’s really nice 😜 ordered their special red bean pancake and love it.. plan to try another next time - Denny Setiawan
Love the chocolate pancake! My go to snack after class. Satisfies my sweet cravings and its a different kind of pancake I usually have 👍 will definitely come back for more
These are seriously bomb and if you haven’t tried them you need to go there right now. Their hours are a bit weird now but they are always busy and rightfully so. You should try either the ham and cheese or beef pancake.
A tiny food truck that whips up some delicious korean style stuffed pancakes. We tried the chocolate and cinnamon sugar, both were yummy. They are served pipping hot in a paper case, perfect grab and go food (or dessert)!
The cinnamon one had nuts in it, was a little too sweet for my palette but that's just me. The chocolate one was the real winner, not sure if it had Nutella in it or just plain dark chocolate. The pancake itself had a hint of salt which made it all the more delicious. It felt a little greasy at first but I didn't notice too much after a couple of bites.
I can't wait to try the savoury ones. They're a steal for $5! And they're very filling too.
The family is very sweet and extremely friendly, you can see that they are passionate about what they do and they love their customers. You'll usually see a serpentine line during lunch hours, tho it's totally worth the wait.
Had a great ham-cheese savory pancake! Wait was not too long as I went at 3pm. The menu offerings are extensive and they have sweet/salty flavours.
The chicken pancake is so yummy, but I gave it 4 stars because I feel $5 is a bit expensive for the size. Also the wait time took 15 minutes for 1 pancake but it during lunch time so it was understandable. :)
One of the best savory pancakes you'll find in Auckland. Had a chicken and cheese one. It did taste like a manakish but so much better than it and at a very affordable price. A must visit for all the foodies out there.
Yummy pancakes for an affordable price. You can either have a savory one or a sweet one. I had the beef n cheese pancake and it was delicious!
Pancakes really yummy. Hadn't tasted it in over two years and when I bought one for the first time in ages it didn't disappoint. Very good pancakes
The red bean option was delish! Would have liked a little bit of a heads up that the sugar one would spill/leak everywhere but that could totally be my bad tbh
Pancakes from here are always great. Have different varieties to choose from and staff are friendly and willing to help and advise if u have any questions
Great option for a quick snack or a meal on the go if you’re in the area.
Service: 9/10
The people were so nice and they were so quick to serve us. They just seemed so cheerful and gave off a happy feeling. The pancake took a little long to make but it was fresh so it’s fine.
Food: 10/10
I got the chocolate pancake and it was so good. The warm chocolate inside was spilling out. The outside was crispy and oily. The inside was fluffy and soft. It was just such a perfect pancake.
Ambiance: 10/10
There isn’t much to say except the aroma travels far and attracts you to the shop. It’s just a cute small shop for a quick takeaway snack.
4.5 to be precise.
So very perfect for the price you pay. Really delicious and flavorful. We had vege & cheese (Just alike aloo parantha. You will know if you are Indian) and double cheese (Wow, so yummy!)
Will definitely be there again to try other options. Their service is pretty good too.
I tried chocolate pancakes from here. Started loving it. This place tend to be very busy. But they do serve fast.
They have savoury options as well. Will try it next time if able to recover from the sweet cravings. Yumm!!!@@@
Tried the ham, cheese and pineapple pancake while we were visiting Auckland. Fresh and tasty, but felt it is overhyped. Nonetheless, we couldn’t resist finishing the pancake
Came here quite often as a student with my friends after uni! Love the cheese pancake as I'm a big fan of savoury! Wish akl has more street food like this
would i die for no 1. pancake??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????()??)?)))?????????????????????????????????? yes
Yummylicious! Pancakes both sweet and savoury are delicious. The only one I don't really like is the chicken as it's far too salty for my liking. Wait times varies as they are made fresh, totally worth it though.
Always need to wait more than 10 mins (they will make pancakes after you order).
Free sauce if you want.
bacon & cheese is good but a little salty to me.
it's good to see a Chinese menu :)
Came with a friend last year.
Outside layer was crispy and smelt amazing. Inside was real sweet. We ordered cinnamon. Would come next time to try the savoury options.
I wouldnt call it pancake, but I tried the red bean one and really liked it! If I need some red bean fix I'll definitely come back for it! Staff is quick and efficient!
I really love the pancake from here. Especially the chocolate one as they give a fair amount of filling. But over time they have increased the price of the pancake but haven't increased the size of the pancake which is kinda unfair. But good environment. No seating to eat but trust me it's so good it'll be gone in minutes.
Best pancakes on the block. Always cooked how ue like it and to perfection, waiting time is a bit much tho... but in the end definitely worth the wait.
Still No. 1!
This is what I ate throughout my high school days, if you're hungry eat their mince & cheese pancake, if you are not then eat their sweet redbean pancake.
Made fresh, and on the spot for fresh juicy, steamy korean pancakes...mmmmm
Writing this gives me munchies :P

I've actually only tried the potato pancake, but I've had it many times cause its so good (I should really branch out). The service is great, the staff are nice. Note that you have to wait on the footpath while your food is being prepared, which is fine.
The pancakes are pretty filling, are a decent price, and are delicious.
Cheap and delicious! Service is quick and friendly and the food is good. Would particularly recommend the chocolate pancake. The savoury pancakes are okay but I like the sweet ones the best. There are a few standing benches outside the shop but this is mainly a takeaway place.
Walked past here heaps of times, and I used to live opposite and I had never been! Boy, that was a regret! Went here for the first time yesterday and I can see why it's a staple favourite of every Aucklander and Uni student. Firm, crunchy outer, piping hot and full of flavour inside. Great cheap eat. About a 5 minute wait once you've ordered.
was recommended to this by a friend and now I've tried most of the pancakes from here and I keep recommending it.
There's always at least one person waiting in line because that's how popular this is, huge crowds gather in the small street just for a pancake
You're able to come here with a little bit of money and still get food that fills you up so much.for the type of service they provide they're the best at it, efficient way of keeping track of customers' orders, the staff are so friendly.
perfect for students but also anyone close to queen street
Can not fault this place, it is amazing, so cheap for a great meal or dessert whether you decide to go for a savoury or sweet pancake. My go to is always the chocolate one, I have branched out to the other which are also very tasty, but there is just something with me and this chocolate pancake that I can't let go of. Service doesn't take too long, never been when it's rush hour but the staff are very friendly and move as quickly as the can. I don't want this place to ever change. THET ARE AMAZING, EVERYONE MUST TRY THIS AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFETIME! However it won't just be for once cause you will want I keep coming back for more
Atmosphere might be lacking (since customers stand on the sidewalk (aka footpath in NZ) but you only have to wait five minutes and you can watch you pancake cooking on the hotplate.
The pancakes are delicious. Mine was chicken and cheese.
You can eat it sitting down outside the fast food place next door, or better still, walk a short distance up the hill and sit somewhere in beautiful Albert Park (named after Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert.
And say "kum sa te dah" = thank you in Korean (my phonetic pronunciation)
My first eating out experience after moving to Auckland. Very close to the uni and priced moderately makes it a student fav. Tried their famed chicken and cheese pancake, and ham and cheese pancake. Both had very good fillings (as a combination) but the size of pancake to am amount of filling ratio can improve. Glad they'd kept hot sauce at the counter as the pancake was more savory than spicy/hot. Recommend for a quick snack/meal on the go. Staff is very friendly, service is quick, no wonder the place is packed almost all the time.
So affordable and so good for its price, extremely good if you're a student who is in crippling debt and need a good feed but don't want to sell your arm and leg
A great place to buy street eats. My friend took me here for lunch and I loved it. Buy atleast 1 and you will get full from it. Its definitely for people who are in a hurry but be sure to go there early or else youll have to fall in line during lunch hour. I heard its been there for years and the quality havent changed.
Been coming here since my uni days and I keep coming back whenever I get the chance. Hot, fresh and delicious. Everything you could want in a sweet and/or savoury pancake, I like the beef on its own and the service isn't bad either.
The pancakes r soooo yum and cheap! I recommend the savoury pancakes especially beef and cheese. Must try these they will change your life!!!
Like to try something different? Into eating something during a cold day and on the run while in the city? This is one place to go or try out for something yummy :9 One of my favorite simple Korean food in Auckland.
It is quite simple as all you have to do is to choose a filling from their menu, they have sweet and savory selection! I love their cheese from their savory selection and the cinnamon from their sweet selection. It's quite a good way to treat yourself after studying in the library nearby the place. It is a bit of a struggle while waiting for the pancakes and having a pack of people walking pass by. But it is worth the wait! :D
It's cheap and yummy overall.~
Chicken & cheese .. still as yummy as more than 5 years ago but it has gone up in price ($5 now) .. best eat it fresh or it can taste a bit oily.
love it! The pancakes are a generous size and left me feeling full. Value for money is great. I had the beef one with no cheese and the flavour was so tasty. Also I admire the staff, they are so friendly and polite and it must be hard working in such a small environment. I love that they make it fresh to order as it makes the experience so much more authentic.
Love these pancakes!
Affordable and delicious. The staff is friendly as well.
Highly recommend the chicken and cheese & the potato and cheese pancakes.
I also tried the cinnamon sugar pancake which is their original sweet pancake and enjoyed it as well.

A sweet dish turned savoury.
Traditionally pancakes have always been visualised with honey and different types of jams and sweet ingredients.
This street food joint does dish out some amazing chocolate Pancakes however most of the people come here to try their savoury dishes.
1) Potato cheese pancake : A lovely dish to have in the chilly weather of new zealand. It had a nice golden brown colour to it on the outside which made it nice and crispy. The inner layer was stuffed with some beautiful cheese and it just tasted really good. The potato mixture as well was not too soft or hard. The wheat combination in the pancake was well balanced and u can use their barbecue or chilli sauces available there as toppings to add some more flavour to the dish. In india we call this as an Aloo paratha.
2) Vegetable cheese pancake : This pancake came stuffed with a few veggies and had a Korean flavour to it. Looks like they had used some special sauce for the stuffing of the veggies. Interesting concept. Compared to the first dish this was ok.
Both my pancakes were ready under 10 minutes. They have set up tables next to their shop where u can stand and eat as the pancakes are too hot to have on the go. Overall if time permitted I would have loved to try their sweet pancake as well but maybe next time for sure.
If you are in Auckland and want to grab a quick bite you should definitely drop into this joint.
Street food, cheap as chips, filling and tasty, chicken & cheese better that beef and cheese, sweet ones look good too, that will be next time
Delicious!! Love the double cheese, ham pineapple cheese, beef cheese and chocolate pancakes ☺️ So cheap and tasty - I just wish they had a store in south Auckland!
Still a favourite after my first bite back in 2009. My favourites are ham, pineapple & cheese for the savoury, and cinnamon for the sweet. But really you can't go wrong with any of them! These crispy pancakes are always scalding hot as they are freshly cooked in front of you. Prices keep rising but I notice that they add more toppings inside to make up for it. Always fast and friendly service.
Great pancakes, good customer service. worth the wait for the different varieties of pancakes. always freshly fried, the smell of it makes you want to buy it and the taste it wants you to eat more.
THE CHICKEN AND CHEESE PANCAKES HERE ARE TO DIE FOR!! Their chocolate pancakes are really good too! Everyone seriously needs to try this atleast once in your life. Such a gem this place
One of the most popular street eats in Auckland CBD, it's convenient location attracts a lot of students and officer workers alike. Their pancakes offer a variety of flavours, all under $5.
On average it takes about 10 minutes for them to finish your order but the yummy pancakes definitely worth the wait.
Amazing!!!!Been a year and still the same delicious, mouth watering savoury and sweet goodness!!!Prices went up by $5 for 4x sweet pancakes.Worth every cent!!!From the sweet melting chocolate,to the cheesy mince or potato goodness!
DELICIOUS PANCAKES
I felt hungry after visiting the Auckland Art Gallery - so I decided to have a quick snack at this "hole in the wall" eatery.
The menu is small - a few savoury pancakes and even fewer sweet ones - so it is easy to choose.
I chose the "Chicken and Cheese" Pancake - it was superb - with chunks of tasty chicken and veggies with a lip-smacking sauce.
I saw a fellow-foodie eating a ham-pineapple-cheese pancake and it looked really yummy. Will try it on my next visit.
They make the pancakes fresh and hot - and you have to eat your pancakes standing on the footpath - since there is no seating.
It is authentic street-food - truly "value-for-money" and delicious - this eatery is a "must visit" in Auckland for all foodies
.
Absolutely loves their pancakes, it's got the right amount of seasoning and it's freshly made on the spot ! My favorite is their beef pancakes, it's a shame they don't open on Sunday ....
Had my first sweet pancake today, bought 4 chocolate sweet pancake to take home for my family to try and they enjoyed it. Would come back to try the savory's next time! Really loved what I ate today. It's a good snack to have as a uni student.

Totally recommend it! Had chicken cheese and chocolate pancake, going to rediscover tryore from their menu. Amazing taste and must try, also pocket friendly!
What a place for a quick snack when you are on your way to uni or work....or also a quick grab when returning back home after a long tiring day.....!!
This is a tiny outlet on may be one of the busiest streets of CBD. No. 1 Pancakes are really a good value for the money you pay. They don't have many options to choose from but whatever they offer are good enough. They provide both savoury and sweet pancakes. My favourites are Chicken & cheese (with extra chicken....you have to pay extra 50 cent for it), potato cheese, chocolate and cinnamon sugar. The best part of this place is all these pancakes are made to order, which means a little bit of wait time but results in fresh, hot and yummy pancakes.....!!! These pancakes are little oily but I don't mind it so much. The staff is also very sweet and friendly :)
So, if near somewhere in Queen or Wellesley street & tummy asking for some snack then this place is definitely a thumbs up for trying :)
Last time I asked for extra cheese (need to pay extra money though) for my beef cheese pancake and hell it was amazing! How could I missed extra cheese for such a long time!
Service was polite and friendly as always.
Me and my partner really loves these pancakes. We just need an excuse to go there and have one.
We have tried the chicken and cheese one and the Chocolate one. Both the pancakes are delicious.
Good for a quick bite. Reasonable prices.
I had Cinnamon and sugar pancake and it was absolutely amazing.
Korean style pancake is the best thing I think.
The cake is so soft and kind of chewy but fluffy at the same time. The cinnamon and sugar inside the pancake is really hot and wonderful.
Love it !!!
Well worth the queues. Love the cinnamon for a cheeky dessert or the ham and veggies for a quick bite in between classes. Be prepared to wait a bit though!
The epitome of what good street food should be. This place serves wonderfully hot and fresh pancakes made to order. Whether it's sweet or savoury, No. 1 pancake does it all with a smile. Just wish they would use a little less oil!
The best pancakes i have ever tasted and really cheap for the price as well, the potato filled pancakes are soo yumm.. cant wait to try the rest
Cheap eats. Tried the Bacon and Cheese and a little bit of the chicken one and it was really tasty. Great value for great food.I'm planning to go there again :)
I really like these pancakes. It's more like a stuffed bread griddled on a hot plate. I love the potato and cheese pancake. This is the ultimate comfort food. I make something similar at home when we have a bbq but usually stuff it with garlic butter and a tiny bit of cheese. I love the taste of the bread. I just wish they would use other fillings inside like maybe beef bulgogi or spicy pork. It would then be the best pancakes ever.
A hot tasty snack, perfect for when you're feeling a little peckish. My favourite is the potato and cheese. Slathered with some sauces and spices and pepper from the counter on the side it tastes perfect. The sweet pancakes are also really delicious. I recommend the red bean.
I always come here for their pancakes. They offer both sweet and savoury. I usually order the chocolate for the sweet one and the ham and cheese one for the savoury. Both are really good. Usually there is a long queue for the orders but it is worth it. the price is pretty good. and also it gets you really full when you're craving or when you just need a snack.
Called in here Thursday 3 Nov 2016 for fast and delicious pancakes, savory & sweet, I had the Ham, Pineapple & cheese ($4.50) & Red Bean ($3.50). Very busy little takeaway (only) on Lorne Street.
A favourite with students in the area. I remember being obsessed with this place when the pancakes were around the $2 mark - like I said, a favourite of students ha. After student life I didn't frequent the CBD much, but when I would I would make sure to go to no 1 pancake. They added more flavour combos which was great. My favs would have to be ham and cheese and potato and cheese. It's fun watching them make the pancakes too. Can be a bit of a wait during the lunch/dinner rush but totally worth it.
A busy place during lunch hours. This place was recommended by a friend. The food there is cheap and affordable but more importantly it's so tasty. I had the beef and cheese pancake it was worth the wait on a busy Monday afternoon. It's located close to university's which makes it a popular place for the students. They do have some amazing chilli sauces do try the sauces too gives a bit of a kick.

I went to this place, after reading some of the reviews on Zomato. I had the potato cheese pancake and it was delicious! It's close to the university and it's cheap, so there is a longboard queue in the lunch time! TBH,Potato cheese pancake reminded me of "aloo paratha" Hahah! :) Though they were a bit oily for my taste.
There's always a (long) queue but the wait is worth it. My favourite is the chocolate one. I always wanted to try the savoury ones but I just always end up getting chocolate whenever I visit. 😅
This small shop at the corner of Lorne street draws a line of customers daily for its delicious Pancakes! From a variety of Pancakes you can enjoy yummy filllings at a great deal!I have tried the RedBean Pancake for the first time and it was delicious. They serve you hot fresh made pancakes in front of you!I Recommend this place. It is a favourite place in CBD especially during lunch hours.
They are the best pancakes, so cheap and delicious, thanks to a mate who told me about this place 👍, the chicken and cheese my favourite, no doubt they are no.1 pancakes at that price
The pancakes are just crispy, handheld bags of delicousness.
i love the chocolate pancakes!!!Cheap, not a long wait and yummmmmmmm
They are by far the cheapest and the most delicious pancakes ever. The chocolate pancake is probably my favourite one so far. I'd so recommended pancake lovers to this place.
Probably the best place in Auckland to go for Korean pancakes. They are hot, fresh and well cooked every time with delicious flavours. I'm a bigger fan of savory rather than sweet so I recommend the double cheese pancake. They're also perfect for a student budget ($4.50 for savory and $3.50 for sweet) and the place is close to both universities so everyone wins 😊
■ Cheap Eats
■ Good deal
■ Close to Auckland Uni
■ Good savoury range
Man these pancakes are good! Ive tried their Chocolate one as well as the Cinnamon and sugar one, Im a fan a both of them and I am yet to try the savoury, A nice cheap snack to pop in for with friends and service is reasonably fast! They used to be $2 but over time upped the priced to $4 I think. Always warm and freshly made too and other than their busy queues, there's nothing to complain about really! If youre running late or need a cheap snack and passing by Wellesley, go go goooo
Came many times and the food and taste never fail us. We had tried most offense flavor. My kids love the chocolate pancake. I had the red bean. Yum
If you're alone but wanting a quick yummy meal in the city, worry no more 😂
Tried the chicken and cheese- was absolutely delicious !
Cheap, not a long wait, delicious
This is so good esp in the freezing winter
Will definitely come back!
Whether its a sunny or rainy day, this place is always busy, and for good reason too. It is DELICIOUS. The pancakes are golden and crispy on the outside, and has this amazing glutinous texture. The fillings inside are so generous that they are almost bursting. Being a vegetarian, I especially recommend the cheese & vegetable one, which is super cheesy, filled with crunchy vegetables, and lightly spiced with curry powder. For my friend who is lactose intolerant, they are super happy to accommodate and make any of the pancakes without cheese.
For desserts, I love the chocolate and the cinnamon & caramel one. Obviously if you feel like some thing more traditional & less sweet then go for the red bean one.
My go-to place when I don't feel like cooking. A must-try if you are even in the Auckland CBD area!
VERY TASTY! VERY CHEAP! These pancakes hit the spot every single time. Cannot fault these at all. Service is good every time i come here (Which is like.. all the time lol)
Amazing pancakes, cheap and fast. I can't believe I have crossed this place a million times and only decided to have nibble from here yesterday. Because of the price and quick bite size it is ideal for a grab and run. I must add that the quality of food is good, and $4.5/$3.5 is all you spend.
Korean pancake is a tasty and warm item in winter. All sweet flavor is $ 3.50 each, and 3 for $10.00. Lovely price and friendly cashier staff. I ordered the red bean pancake this time, yummy as usual.
☁️it's good! Smells great!but maybe too much oil,,, the filling is cheese and beef indeed surprising me, the owns are enthusiastic. especially $4.5 , very cheap!
One of the best you get around Auckland. They have many sweet and savoury options to chose from. A pancake is big enough to fill you!
The best $3.5 I have spent in my lifetime. Those pancakes just melt in your mouth. I couldn't just help finishing it without taking a break. Talk about unhealthy really delicious desert. I am looking forward to trying savoury as well which is priced modestly at $4.50. The staff is efficient and has a humble smile.
The king of cheap eats is here and you can't miss it.
One of the foremost in the "cheap-eats" category in town. Delicious pancakes (hotteok) with each having a distinct taste, very flavourful. This isn't something you could have every other day. I can't have it more than a couple of times a month (not that you'd want to eat anything over and over again anyway), but the ARE delicious. Of course nicely priced and served by friendly staff.
Definitely a must have checkbox in the city
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The name says it all! No.1 pancake is the destination when I find myself hungry but don't want a hearty meal 😊 For only 4.5$ max, you will have a delicious treat. Been eating here since it was not popular. These Korean pancakes are made fresh and given to you hot and oozing with goodness. Their most popular ones are beef with cheese pancake and chocolate pancake. Personally, for savoury pancakes, my favourite is the chicken and cheese and for some sweetness, I love the cinnamon sugar peanut. Highly recommend these choices ❤️ Besides, this little corner shop offers the best service, friendly and fast. Note that waiting time can be up to 15 mins during their busiest hours.
I love this place. It's awesome. If you fancy a meaty, cheesy or sweet pancake this is the place for you. They're around $4 and a bit oily, but damn....they're worth every cent. I understand why this is in the cheap eats year after. The bacon and cheese one is a fave of mine.
I remember when no.1 pancake occupied half the space they're in, were around $2 and was literally auckland's best kept secret....
Now, it's hard to miss with the bustling queues... the beef and cheese has always been my favourite but i have to say the ham and cheese comes super close!
Theyre delicious little snacks for $4ish and i'm never one to say no to them. Service is friendly and quick enough too. All in all a win :-)
I think this is the only shop in city which makes pancake of this style. For me the pancake was always an american or Scottish thing but this Asian shop has its own style. Though the cakes are bit more oily than usual but very simple and tasty. Chocolate cake and mix vegetable cakes are must try!
P.S : Do not approach during the lunch hours as there is long waiting time.
I love this place so much. It's definitely one of my Go-Tos in city when I'm feeling hungry, but don't want to sit down and have a full-on meal. They have a variety of sweet and savoury pancakes. I recommend the Ham, Cheese & Pineapple pancake from the savoury menu and the Chocolate and Red Bean pancakes from the sweet menu. There's a little bit of a waiting time, but it passes quickly because you're so mesmerised in watching them make your pancakes.
Delicious pancakes that will fit the bill if you are peckish in any way. Savoury and sweet options, both with or without cheese.
Can't go wrong with the Beef, chicken or chocolate pancakes. If you're feeling adventurous then they also have a red bean and cheese one.
Feel free to wander around the area to pick up other things like dumplings and bubble tea since the electronic board will give you an idea if you're order is ready or not.
Finally got to try it!!!!! :D the service was good, the owner (or worker) was very enthuasitic. I had the cheese and beef, it's more like a "mincey" beef pattie, not beef slices. It's very nice and worth the price. The price is worth what u get and I will definitely go back and try other flavours and also check out the sweet ones ;D
Don't take this tiny gem on the corner of lorne street for granted. I had originally chosen the chocolate pancake but then I had a sudden change of mind before I ordered to bacon and cheese. The staff were really friendly and kind and the wait wasn't too long but then again there weren't many of us waiting. One thing for sure is that be careful when you take your first bite, I underestimated and my first bite the cheese burnt the side of my lip. But overall that pancake was delicious :) we should definitely have more pancake food places around auckland.
blessd day to try these pancakes out atda splashpad dominion rd and boy were they frickn omazing we will b seeing yus again till foeva ...soooo ilove wth korean pancakes savory or sweet 😋😋😋😋 ..... #ilbeback
Not your everyday western style pancakes. This is an little pancake shack on the corner of wellesley and lorne street. They sell sweet and savoury pancakes. Not a lot to choose from the menu. But what they have is yumm. I always get a sweet and a savoury to go.
The chocolate pancake is not to be missed part of the shop. They also have a vegetarian option of potato and cheese. Dint sound too interesting to me to try.
Its more of a take away joint though one can stand there and eat on the side table.
Would keep going back for sweet treats.
Pricewise: A go to place for uni students as its light on the pocket. $4.50 for savoury and $3.50 for sweet pancake.
Cheap and delicious.
Doughy, flavourful, perfectly greasy and filling.. Although you'll want a second anyway.
Pays to go off peak eating times.
I've been here a few times now and tried different pancakes each time! I love all of the flavours I've tried they've all been so delicious T __ T I've been lucky to visit on really quiet days where there haven't been any lines, but I know for sure that if a day comes where there's a long wait I'll definitely stick around! The staff are so friendly and it's really fun to watch how they make the pancakes~ This is definitely one of my favourite places in Auckland to visit to bring people and also to get a quick bite.
I finally got to try one of their pancakes yesterday. The queue of people waiting for their order and the 10 minute wait almost made me change my mind but I'm glad I stuck around because the potato and cheese pancake was super good! It was crispy and golden on the outside with a smooth mashed potato and cheese filling on the inside..extremely tasty comfort food on the go! I'll try their cinnamon and sugar pancake the next time I'm there.
Wow these pancakes are bloody good! Tried the potato and cheese one today and was just blown away by the cheesy mashed potato filling. So creamy and flavourful but not too heavy. The outside is also crispy and golden.
Not the usual pancakes I normally have but definitely a nice change. A must try! Definitely worth your money. Can't wait to try the other flavours next time I'm in the neighbourhood :)
I remember having these one day and I was amazed at how filling they were! the dough is sweeter around the edges and becomes more savoury toward the middle. I had the beef and cheese one and I cant wait to go back and have the red bean and the potato and cheese!
Seriously popular with city dwellers and uni students, often meaning there are queues down the road! These 'pancakes' are an amazing option for something to grab when you need a bit more than a snack but not quite a full meal as they're more filling than you'd think! My favourites are the chocolate or the cheese. Definitely a must try!
This pancake place has been an old favourite of mine! It always has endless customers waiting for their pancakes to be made and of course I'm one of them! I've tried most of their savoury pancakes (mainly just cheese with different types of meat). I'm not actually a big fan of the stuffing (maybe I should try their sweet options!) but I do love the oancake itself. Its thick, sweet and got a crispy skin. I can just eat a plain pancake with nothing stuffed :) the only downside would be the pancake is really oily so it is very filling and can make you a bit sick afterwards.
Want to have a quick bite or grab a lunch while you head to your work, No. 1 Pancake is the place for you. Fast and conveniently located on the Lorne St.
Service: 5/5 People behind the counter will serve you well and will also interact with you if they are not too busy.
bloody good. cheap price and awesome pancakes! portion size is decent and their cinnamon with sugar pancake is my fav! i always get one whenever im in city, sooo good. x
Can't believe I lived in Auckland for over 2 years and never tried this! It looks extremely unassuming from the outside, and at first I wasn't sure if I'd like ham and cheese in my pancake. Boy was I wrong! My ham cheese and pineapple pancake was awesome, the gooey cheese really melds seamlessly into the soft flaky pancake dough. Greasy and definitely not a healthy meal, but oh-so-delicious.
Trust me, go for it. It tastes better than it looks.
I have been dying to try No. 1 Pancake for a very long time! Luckily, today was the day! I believe this is a Korean style pancake and there are many different fillings to choose from. There is both sweet and savoury. I got a Cinnamon and Sugar pancake, while my friends got the Red Bean and Chocolate one. It didn't take a long time for them to make it. The pancake was so good, there was a lot of cinnamon, sugar and peanuts inside the pancake and it was definitely filling. It is such a great snack for everyone to enjoy! The employees are friendly and this is definitely a street food that everyone needs to try! I will come back soon to try out the other fillings!
This is a small Korean style pancake outlet at the corner of Lorne St. It seems pretty popular with the crowd as we had to wait for almost 15 minutes for our pancake. The pancake is like an Indian kulcha(not tandoori) and you can have a choice of the stuffing. there are options both in sweet and savory. We ordered the chicken and cheese and cinnamon sugar pancakes. I liked the chicken one better. Great stuff for what it's worth. A little oily though I will definitely go back for more!
Price 4/5

Popular Korean street food in CBD
Sweet and yummy
No.1 Pancakes is simply awesome bang for buck. In Korean street stall style, you will find these yummy pancakes near the end of Lorne St.
Taste: 4.5/5 taste is awesome, a little oily but totally worth the indulgence
Value: 5/5
Overall: 4.5/5 snackers beware, the pancakes are a cheap addiction, and they are awesome!
Tips: They get pretty busy sometimes as they are suuper popular, so be prepared to wait a few minutes. Good excuse to shoot across the road to grab a drink from Gong Cha!
Found this little place after going for a stroll. Highly recommend. I tried the chicken and cheese and the chocolate pancake soooo yum. Great value for money cheap lunch for less than ten bucks. Will definitely go back.
Ohh my josh...no 1 pancake is only here...love the cinnemun nd choclate one....very uniqe way of ordering...love to wait there as we smells the amazing kind of pancakes over there...
Another fabulous cheap eatery with superb serve in the CBD. I'm quite a regular at No.1 pancake and I recommend trying their chocolate pancake, very yum. Although these workers are in quite a confined cooking space, they're always so pleasant and smiley :)
This is a treat. I like it. Sometimes you gotta wait longer cos there's a lot of people there. Workers are always friendly too. It's good and you can definitely see why it's popular.
Really wanted the beef bulgolgi style pancake, but end of day Friday and options were limited to just 1...bacon & cheese-still great.

Quick and cheap on the go food. The chocolate one is yummy and so is chicken & cheese. It can get quite busy but after trying one you'll understand why. Its worth a try! 😊
Tried the sweet and savoury options. The cheese and ham was quite good, almost like a deep fried cheese toasty, really good for the first few bites but a bit greasy towards the end. Wouldn't make it a regular thing but can see how it's popular, especially with the cheap as chips prices.
Korean pancakes is the life saviour of students wanting a cheap, affordable meal during uni. It's not quite a pancake but more like a donut-pancake hybrid and is freshly made to order with your choice of sweet or savoury filling. I love the red bean version, and always burn my tongue each time I eagerly dig into it. It's VERY oily however so definitely not something your heart will thank you for, so I always ask them to cook mine with less oil :) Prices have gone up over the years but it's not too extravagant in my opinion, definitely still very affordable compared to everything else!

Tasty treats and always delicious. However our only complaint would be the long wait for these amazing Korean pancakes. Hopefully this establishment is able to expand and accommodate for its larger customer base. If you're looking for a tasty sweet or savoury snack we would definitely recommend this place.
Simple menu and affordable prices. A nice treat but a bit on the greasy side for me, definitely not something I would have regularly. Prefer the savoury to sweet choices. Something different to try if you haven't before!
Love this place, definitely a good choice if you are wanting a cheap and quick bite when in town. My personal favourites are the red bean and chicken and cheese. The texture is great and smells wonderful! There is always a queue and I would recommend to not go during peak hours such as lunchtime or dinnertime for a shorter wait.
I really love the chocolate pancake that they offer but sometimes I want to change with the red bean. Both is still amazing. Favourite place to get a snack when Im at city
Im glad that this place did so well. Love the chewy yet hearty texture of the 'ho dduk.' Unfortunately, just as a few other fellow reviewers have noted, their pricing has gone up. Such a shame as I was a regular here when it was more affordable. Considering it is a street snack in Korea and ingredients being quite affordable, I dont see what the need for the increase in price was. I have recommended to numerous friends and guests to try this place out and they were very pleased. Try their original sugary cinnamon pancake (the original and most popular in Korea) or even some of their meatier versions (my favourite is chicken and cheese).
Good pancakes, tasty and good enough for the price. Not sure if it's the oil they use but sometimes I'd get this bloated feeling after 1 pancake.
Well, a great place to stop and get a decent snack in the cbd. For less than a fiver you can get a yum Korean pancake and they are good! Good size, always busy - which is a good sign but the wait is never very long. I'm a sucker for the vege&cheese pancake. Nice staff and good crunchy veges in the pancake! Yum!! Recommended !
Korean pancakes are really affordable and tasty! Really suitable for students or those who really don't know what to eat.
The pancakes are all made to order so you get a nice hot pancake with your choice of filling!
They offer both sweet and savoury choices which is awesome. I recommend the chicken and cheese!
They have a selection of sauces available for self service after you get your pancake which is nice. I love sweet chilli sauce with any pancake that has cheese in it!
Their prices have gone up from before but still affordable for something that's not a boring burger or cliché sushi.
Be prepared to wait though! There's a lot of hungry students clogging up Lorne street for their pancakes but it's so worth it!
Great food great friendly service can't add more than that really good variety and quick to as there was a bit of a crowd there and one couple had a large order well worth it.
Amazing service from very friendly staff. The food is tasty and also super cheap. The wait time was very short. Would recommend the chocolate chip pancake, its life changing.
One of my favourite spots in Auckland city!
MUST order: beef and cheese pancake!!!
They are super yummy and very cheap! Perfect for pretty much any time of the day!
I LOVE! Such a deliciously easy stop by for some mouth-watering goodness! Both the savoury and desert pancakes are great! Definitely a different taste to your usual pancakes - the Korean juices really shine through! The staff is beautifully friendly, making this cute little stop even more of a regular visiting spot for me! ^-^
This place was my favorite when I was studying in the University. This is a cheap and best place to have tasty pancakes. I have tried both the chicken n cheese as well as veggie n cheese pancakes. They were too good and tasty however you need to wait for a while to grab those as there will always be a queue during peak hours. The best thing about this place is that they prepare it in front of you and serve it hot. I would not say that this is healthy but if you wish to try something really tasty, then I would definitely recommend this place. The location is the only negative thing about this eatery as you wont be having a proper shelter to stand when there is a queue and especially when it is raining. And you should try this pancake hot when it is rainy.
If you are looking for a cheap and more special alternative to a hamburger, you should definitely check out No. 1 Pancake. You will be satisfied after eating it, and it's only $3-$4 for each one.
These "pancakes" are fried dough stuffed with some sort of filling- I've had the chicken and cheese, cheese, the chocolate one and the cinnamon and sugar (is it sugar? The cinnamon one anyway)pancake, and they were all yummy. They are really hot when you get them, so biting into them straightaway is a bad idea, especially since sometimes the filling drips.
I didn't really like the chocolate one, it tasted like nutella to me, but if you are a fan of chocolate and nutella you will like it. The chicken one I thought was meh. It was nice, but it wasn't something I really like- I think I would like the beef one better, and I want to try that next time. My favourite sweet one is the cinnamon and sugar one- so hot and juicy!
Two can fill me up, and I wished I ate it more regularly during the semester. But they are quite hot to hold when walking to somewhere and there is no seating near the stand, but those are all excuses for my laziness to walking down Wellesley Street to get to this place.
It is quite oily though, but it probably is healthier for you than a burger from McDonalds or Burger King. And I am all for supporting small Auckland ethnic eating spots than global fast food chains. Hooray!
This is a cheap and very convenient meal on the go. However it does get busy at lunch time which can mean quite a long queuing time on the footpath which is not much fun when it is raining. I highly recommend both the chicken and cheese and beef and cheese. The potato and sour cream one is not bad either. Not the most healthiest place but so tasty and fulfilling....now back to the gym ;)
Chocolate pancake is the ultimate guilty pleasure. Doughy, just oily enough and good quality dark chocolate.
My favorite spot to treat myself!! Chicken, Potato and Ham Pineapple
are really good! But Chocolate pancake is absolutely the winner among all those amazing pancakes!!!
What's more, the girl working there is so sweet and beautiful!! So there is no reason to a man like me not to pop up there, for those yum pancakes, and the lovely staff!
Came here for lunch today and was greeted by friendly staff. I decided to try the chocolate pancake on this occasion and was not disappointed. At $3, the sweet pancake hit the spot. Previously I had tried the double cheese and the vege cheese pancake which were also very good for less than $5. A good place to stop when you don't want to spend too much money and want something filling. Would not recommend this place of you're on a diet as a lot of oil is used when frying the pancakes, however with that said, if you don't mind the oil, it actually gives a lovely crispy texture to the pancake, with no foul greasy feeling left in your mouth.
No. 1 Pancake is a small hole-in-the-wall eatery located on Lorne Street. These Korean pancakes seem to be a staple for most Uni students and it's easy to see why considering how cheap they are.
Today I ordered the vege and cheese pancake. In quite partial to this one as they put a little chilli powder in the pancake, giving it a nice kick. This pancake was only $4, very good value.
The service here is great, the lady serving me today was so sweet and friendly. It was nice to see she wasn't rushed off her feet & she stopped to greet everyone with the biggest smile.
No. 1 Pancake is a brilliant place to visit when you're after a quick, cheap snack. The pancakes are big enough that if you weren't too hungry, if would be sufficient for lunch!
Tried a piece of the pancake when walking past last night. The place is small, but busy. I had to wait 10 minutes for my pancake. Great value for money no doubt. Only problem I find not very nice is wearing of rubber gloves when handling hot pancakes. I hope it doesn't contain bisphenol-A in there.
Oh god, if you are in the CBD do yourself a favour and go get a few of these pancakes. They are AMAZING. The sweet pancake is one of my favs along with the potato and ham and cheese. Sometimes you have to wait a while if you go during lunch, but it's so worth it!
This place is awesome. The pancakes are varied in flavour but all are excellent. They're also massive and easily enough for a meal. I highly recommend Chicken and cheese and the cinnamon and brown sugar ones. The service is friendly and efficient too. Definitely give it a try.

Have to admit, hadn't tried Korean pancakes (or anything Korean) before finding this place; now I'm a converted fan of Korean cuisine altogether. So good and amazing prices; the Ham & Cheese pancakes are highly recommended. Note to self, must introduce this to all my friends. Gamsahabnida No.1 Pancake :)
This is something 'new' for me, I have never tried a Korean pancake in my life and I got to say it was delicious ! Good price, although there were many people waiting in line I didn't wait for too long !
I love their Ham cheese pancake! Reasonable price, quality and clean!
Great food fast and for an excellent price.
This place is a hidden gem. A friend introduced me to it a few years ago and I visit whenever I'm the area, it's a great place for a affordable snack or quick lunch if you are in the city. The pancakes are made fresh to order and taste delicious!
I was surprised that this place wasn't already on this site. This is one of my favorite quick stop places in Auckland City. Decent sized savory and sweet Korean style pancakes at a reasonable price. They taste amazing and it's always fun to watch them make your pancake right in front of you.
This place has really made a great name for itself, and once you try their pancakes, you'll know why! They are crazy affordable (between $3-$5) and taste amazing. They make them fresh right in front of you; perfect for a cold winters day (or summer!). There are both sweet and savory options, with the sweet ones being slightly cheaper. My personal favourites are the bacon n cheese and the chocolate ones. The line here is usually pretty long at peak hours, but its definitely worth the wait. Plus, the workers are all super friendly as well.
A must-try for anybody visiting Auckland/new to Auckland - I guarantee you'll be love it!
No. 1 Pancake is a pancake place you should not miss if you are in town. The guys at No. 1 Pancake have done a wonderful job making the delicious ham, pineapple and cheese pancake which one is always never enough and would leave a foodie like me coming back for more. If sweet is your thing, I highly recommend both the chocolate pancake and cinnamon & sugar pancake. No. 1 Pancake rocks
No.1 Pancake is a must try.
It's a unique, cheap, and quick tasty treat. It's only $3-$5 and it's so bad that I work so close to it because I am there every second day. Being a vegetarian I have only tried the potato and cheese, double cheese, and chocolate pancakes which I would definitely recommend :) Also if you're stopping in here you might as well come check out the boutique I manage, Preloved Boutique and tell me how you found it!

Pancakes - super hot, straight from the tava, sumptuous, yummy, soft on the outside and gooey on the inside. . That's the chocolate pancake. Every bite and the hot lava oozes into your mouth. All this in budget. Red bean, cheese or potato filling. . The hot pancakes revs you up. . . This place is part of my unforgettable student days at Auckland.
One of my favourite places in the city to get cheap hot and filling food on the go. Where else could you get full on less than $5? Few places are so affordable and yet have such yummy food with a cheerful service to complement. The savoury pancakes are large and flat and deliciously greasy in their paper packets, with a crisp pan fried outside and a generous cheesy filling on the inside. If they were any thicker, it'd be like eating a lump of dough, so the thickness is perfect. The cheese and ham is particularly good, although I also really liked the potato and cheese. They give you plenty of napkins to wipe your hands afterwards and there's lots of places nearby to sit at so their lack of dine-in options isn't a big deal. In fact, it adds to the allure of the local street shop that all the locals rave about, the kind that tourists invariably go hunting for for a cheap and delicious eat. No. 1 Pancake is amazing and I highly recommend it. If you need any more convincing, just take a look at the photos i took of my pancake. Be warned, you'll probably get serious cravings for the pancakes after looking at them.
If a (slightly) oily and (very) tasty pancake is your idea of a treat, No 1 Pancake has got you covered. For under $5 you can choose from a wide variety of Korean style pancakes, both sweet and savoury. Service is fast as they make the pancake right in front of you. I would highly recommend the chicken cheese!
No.1 pancake is the best place in the city for a cheap lunch or a tasty snack. I have endeavoured to try them all but can't go past my favourites, chicken & cheese, potato & cheese and chocolate. Even when they have a huge line it still only takes 5 minutes and the service is always very friendly. For only $3-$4.50 they are a steal, and are so filling.
Homemade pies, coffees made with love and service with a smile. Lovely little find that is a family run place which is always nice to support. Would 100% come back. Coffee tasted great too
I've been coming here for breakfast since my first time in Auckland (back in 2016). I travel from U.S. to N.Z. about 4 or 5 times a year for work. I love this little "hole in the wall". Traditional English breakfast and delicious coffee. It's one block from beautiful Albert Park.
This is a wonderful cafe. Droppd by in the late morning after landing in Auckland for a little pick me up. Cappuccino was excelent, and the brownie was fantastic. Nice chill / easy vibes of the cafe, and I enjoyed relaxing for a few moments.
Very comfy vibe and great food, especially the coffee! %100 coming back here on my work breaks for the matcha latte
Really nice family run place. They were really helpful in getting me a cable so I could charge my phone and the coffee (cappuccino) I got was so delicious, I had two.
I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food, so this 5/5 is for their customer service and the coffee!!
Love a family owned business and they were very friendly.
Quick and friendly service. Cafe and sandwich were yum ~
Nice location, just off Queen St and in the middle of the city. Very convenient if you are on foot, not convenient if you are driving. It was quite busy, so the staff were friendly but efficient. The coffee was good and the coconut muffin tasted great. It lacked the ultra-cool vibe of other inner city cafes.
Awesome, spaghetti, just as I like it, and the coffee is a work of art.
Super polite staff and very accommodating. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. Thank you.
I like this place, carrot cake, coconut cake is always nice and fresh. Don't like the seats outside. All the chair legs are lost in shape. Dosent stand straight anymore😂😂 but nice coffee and food.
A lovely eatery in the heart of city centre.
Nice and strong coffee. There are pastry but didnt try. The atmosphere is quite normal maynot suit those who want to take much photos.
Great coffee lovely service and great outdoors Street space
Me and my Mum have been staying in Auckland and have eaten here twice in a row because its so good!! The eggs bene with bacon is to die for and my Mum thoroughly enjoyed her full breakfast!! The staff are so friendly and so polite and their coffee art is so so cute! I will be having breakfast here every time I stay in Auckland now. One of the highlights of our trip!!
The day I visited Sierra was a great comfort to me cos I was feeling lost and down. The shop was warm and welcoming. The girl who served me was so lovely. My food was yummy I had a flat white and a ham n cheese croissant. Yummy cabinet food. I remember this clearly. I needed to review this little gem properly 😊
My new breakfast place just down the Rd from me love it 😍
