Really delicious local restaurant. Great for dinner with a nice outdoor area and great service. Definitely recommend most of the tapas and the pizza on the menu.
Very nice welcome on arrival, and the service continued all evening. C ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the lamb. Both meats were perfectly cooked. We will be back!
Went here for a birthday dinner and would rate this place 6/5 if I could. The place definitely has a Spanish feel to it. The food is absolutely amazing, most got the steak and I ordered the fish. Couldnāt fault the food or the whole experience. 100% rate this place and would love to come back
I was having lunch in this restaurant, the location was a bit tricky to find as it is a bit far from the busy road. The place is very nice unfortunately we were limited to 1.5 hours only due to the special day. I tried Softshell crabs, Madrid Pasta and Iberica pizza. Softshell crabs is very small size served with french fries (optional), the taste very nice and crunchy covered with breadcrumb, The Madrid Pasta served with smoked chicken/Ham and wide fettucini with aromatic creamy sauce. The Pizza has thick chewy base, not too special but taste not bad.
A nice little hidden gem in West Auckland sharing the grounds with the Oratia Saturday Farmers Market. The building and indoor seating is not large but the outdoor area and alfresco dining is spacious.
Had the lunch menu on a lovely sunny late winter's day. The tapas menu is adequate - Ordered the bodega platter of assorted tapas comprising polenta chips, Aceitunas -olives and roasted garlic, Croquetas - chicken and Serrano ham, and Queso de Cabra crusted deep fried goat cheese balls in honey. Tapas were authentic and freshly made. Well presented and tastes as good as they look.
The mainsenu for lunch was catered for light meals. No substantial meat mains. Ordered the Pescadores, Madri pasta and spaghetti Gamba. Enjoyed all the mains. The fish was well panfried and the tabouleh fresh, and made a great accompaniment to the fish. The spaghetti gambas was nicely balanced with pesto, fried shallots with fresh homemade pasta. The pappardele with creamy ricotta-like sauce could do with more seasoning but was good nevertheless.
All that washed down with ice cold margarita, which made the whole dining experience most satisfying. Must go to try the dinner menu which looks and sound delicious. Judging by the lung offering, expectations are high.
On a sunny afternoon, a wonderful location. Ā Good selection of menu items and a good wine list at very reasonable prices. Ā I am glad we found this place. Ā Tapas, Caesar salad, Italian coffee, good service, attentive staff, recommended.
Beautiful location, great decoration (and well-looked-after space), attentive staff, delicious food and fabulous cocktails!! Fast becoming a favourite of ours!! Seems like this little gem is slowly building up its reputation, get in quick.
New eatery nestled in the heart of Henderson valley. Beautiful Mediterranean dishes and quick and friendly service. Booked a table for 7 and we were well looked after. Will be coming back for the margaritas and fresh homemade pizzas
Got the special deal from grabone so we go try it out. Small eatery but nice big outdoor garden, but weather not allowed us to enjoy outdoor space. Food was excellent and portions is good, no problem with the friendly service. We definitely coming back with friends to enjoy the food.
Exceptional service paired with delectable food! This bodega eatery surpassed all expectations with its friendly staff, quick service, and mouthwatering dishes. A true gem for those seeking a top-notch dining experience. Five stars without a doubt!
Lovely place, fabulous food. We enjoyed a lovely view while eating. Staff was really friendly and kind. The croquetas were my favorite. Really recommend. šš» Plenty of options in the menu. Easy parking right outside.
Beautiful place with a great atmosphere. A group of us from work decided to come here for dinner and the food was amazing! The staff were friendly and nice and made sure to check up on us. This made us want to come back again and try out the other items on the menu. So we headed back for lunch this time and ordered the lunch special, which was simply divine, and we left feeling satisfied and super full.
Five stars all the way. Snuggled in exquisite grounds in Henderson. Bodega is a beautiful restaurant /Cafe here in West Auckland.
Super welcoming and professional staff. Happy to help make your experience memorable! The selection on the menu is catering to all, and the servings are generous & delicious.
Highly recommended. So if you in Henderson, go have a look
Great spot very pretty - away from noisy roads. Service was great but the food took a long time - they were quite busy but seemed a bit disorganised as we had 4 different servers and had to ask where the food was and ask again for the drink with the food .If you want quiet stay inside as outside is open for kids to run around .Frozen margarita was presented well but I couldnāt taste any alcohol .The food was good just a tad small portions.
Our favourite restaurant out west!
Love everything about it.
Staff are helpful, friendly, attentive and always smile.
Can't wait for next time.
A lovely place tucked into Glen Eden, with delicious food and a great deal. My sister and I got the lunch deal, which is $28 for garlic bread, a choice of their special lunch menu and house drink. I got steak with salad for my lunch, it was so good and cut through with ease. My sister had chilli prawns with salad, she loved it. The atmosphere was great and staff were friendly, Iāll definitely come back here again and recommend it to my friends and family in Glen Eden.
Great spot, food was excellent, wine selection has variance in choice - local names / good quality. Food had large portions while still maintaining high quality ingredients. Sat inside as was raining - which had a nice atmosphere. Looking forward to going back in summer and sitting outside. No faults, perfect lunch.
On a sunny saturday arvo, a delightful safe haven was found. Drinks selection plentiful, food delicious!
We came here after reading the great reviews and were not disappointed. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. There are several choices as to where to sit, both outdoors and indoors. We ended up having a small room to ourselves indoors, with a nice view of the surrounding countryside. As a coeliac, I really appreciated all the gluten free options on the menu. The pizza I ordered was very tasty, and the garlic bread divine. The other two in our group ordered spaghetti carbonara and hubby raved over his dish. The only markdown was for the extra $3 for the gf bread, and the rather thin and tough gf pizza base. The lunch special of garlic bread, mains and house wine for $28 is excellent value. We will definitely be back.
