This is definitely the best teppanyaki we have ever had in auckland. I had the delux course and my parner had the eye fillet. The meat w awesome. Also Highly recommend the craft Japanese beer. Its a busy place but staff are very friendly. It's amazing how chef cooked for the whole restaurant. Wonderful experience will for sure come back.
Celebrated my friend’s birthday here. Food was very fresh and tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would come back again!
Visited this place for a family night out. Loved how the chefs preparing food right in front of us.
It’s a small place with limited staff, but I really appreciate the effort they put in to give the customers a great experience even though they were super busy.
Food 8/10 Service 9/10 Ambience 7/10
It is a small teppan Japanese restaurant. But the food there is tasty. I like the soup, the problem is I think the crab is not fresh enough. I highly recommend the scallop which is tasted rich and creamy. Next time I will order double as this time. And the chef is patient and professional.
The taste and the presentation was great! There are many subtle flavors you just can't recreate at home. However my friend did complain about the size haha
What a find! My partner and I came here on a recommendation and the food was exquisite. We got the 5 course degustation each and for $50ish you get a huge feast (totally worth!). The scotch steak was perfectly cooked and moist with the appropriate side of sauce which isn’t too overwhelming. The starter was very interesting but all great flavours. The kingfish was so moist and tasty. Overall the food is 5 stars, however the service there was questionable. Very understaffed but the chefs honestly did as best as they could (coming to serve us too). Little things such as not bringing out water until asked, taking cutlery and not replacing were some of the errors but this could be because of new staff? I loved the food and will defs be back tho.
Best teppanyaki in Auckland. Nice environment and friendly service. Service very fast. And ingredients are all pretty fresh. Love to dining here
Convenient location, great showmanship, and tasty menu.
I thought the A5 wagyu from here was the best I’ve had in Auckland.
Even though the pork belly wasn’t made on the grill, it was still very delicious when eaten with the mayo. Texture a bit dry though.
Would return.
High quality food and awesome waguya beef and misu soup. One of the best i ever tried. The chef is one of the best i ever seen. Very professional and great customer service. I would really go back again.
Great food. Bowz is a well established Japanese restaurant in Auckland and I would say one of the best teppanyaki restaurants in Auckland. The dishes are amazing but as usual with Japanese dining, you crave more after you finish.
Bowz may look like an inconspicuous restaurant but their teppanyaki is the best I've had in NZ. Been there twice and ordered the 5 course dinner set. I personally enjoyed the pork belly, prawns and scallops. The normal NZ beef scotch didn't wow us but the A5 wagyu beef was mind-blowing. The taste just melts in your mouth. You can also top up for premium dessert such as creme brulee and matcha cake. Otherwise, the set comes with vanilla ice cream.
As the restaurant is small, reservations are a must. The staff would usually ask if it's for a special occasion. I had my birthday celebrated here and they did a dessert surprise. The staff (and other customers) joined in to sing me a birthday song.
Note: If you want to see the chef in action, do request for the counter table (which seems to be very hard to reserve). Otherwise, tables that are not by the window get a close view as well. If you want a comfortable table, go for the ones by the window.
Quality value for money meals that will satisfy both veg and non_veg foodies, all this prepared right in your midst. This centrally located venue has the added benefit of free parking in close proximity and suited both for family and corporate events.
This Japanese restaurant is my favorite place for dinner at the moment. We come here 1 a week for dinner. Food here have a high standard quality and make fresh every time. I love everything here so nice!!
Great food. Great service. Went for my son's birthday. Very attentive to my son's food allergies which we appreciated very much. Chef very skillful on the hot plate. Our tofu, chicken and beef very tasty. Desserts (matcha sponge and cheesecake) very nice. (Asian food outlets don't usually do desserts well). Highly recommend it.
We came here for dinner last night and each got the 5 course meal. Myself with salmon, my partner with chicken thigh. We also added on 2 x lots of scallop entrees.
We virtually rolled out of the place. I've never had so much food in my life! We sat next to the hot plate and watched the chef create our meals. He was awesome when we wanted to take a photo, he let us know. They also told us all the bits and pieces on our plates which was good since we weren't sure. The food was presented amazingly!
Nice small intimate place, service was fantastic, we paid $130 for 2 x 5 courses, 2 x entrees and additional drinks. Was so worth it, a real experience. Will be back.
We came for the wagyu beef. The kids meal is with high quality and good price. The chef is friendly and good at matching the sauces with the food. The wagyu beef set is perfect. will come here from.time to.time.
Food 5/5
Price 3.5/5 $110 for all this food
Service 5/5
Have always wanted to try this place and it did not disappoint. The chef was very talented, every dish was full of flavour and very well presented. Would not come back again as it’s a bit on the pricey side.
The food is yummy, staff friendly. It is quiet and clean quiet though it is a small restaurant. We were there about one hour over sitting and eating in front the chef. We really enjoyed looking at the chef passionately cooking the meal for us and other customers. I was really impressed by his happy and friendly face all the time. I give 4 stars just because the premises was too small to be a five starred.
Went there for my Mum’s 65th birthday party. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was delicious, and it was pretty entertaining to watch how out was cooked in front of you especially for the kids. We went for 5 set course: beef scotch, pork belly and king salmon. Everyone was really pleased with the presentation of the dishes and how yummy everything was. Also would look like too thank the stuff for the surprise piece of choc cake with a candle for my Mum.
Fantastic place to eat.Best Japanese I have eaten and the food was amazingly fresh. It was my partners birthday and after we had finished our meals they brought out a cake with a candle in which was way above and beyond in terms of customer service. Will be back and will recommend to as many people as I can.Thank you much for an amazing dining experience.
BEST teppanyaki in Auckland.
Full stars for being the best in Auckland. Tastes delicious and excellent service. If I wanted teppanyaki this is the one that beats the rest. Fresh ingredients and delicious wagyu.

We went to Bowz Teppan & Dining for my dad's birthday. We ordered the salmon, teriyaki chicken and beef sirloin bowz sets. Every course was superbly presented and tasted amazing. The mains are generously portioned. We were very full and satisfied afterwards. The staff took time to explain each of the appetizers as well and was very attentive throughout dinner. It was the first time we came to this restaurant. Just want to say a big thank you to the staff for this wonderful experience. Would come again and recommend to all.
We came to this restaurant for my birthday and ordered the seven or eight course menu. Can't remember. The service was friendly and they catered to our needs. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. All the seafood was top notch. They also added a happy birthday message to my dessert.
This is definitely a good one Teppan Dining Bowz Restaurant. Excellent cuisine, inventive and generous. Maybe a bit too generous. I want to try something else next time.
Overall: 4.7/5
Service: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Wait time: 4/5
Overall the experience was really good and my group really enjoyed the food.
Two awesome points:
-the chef on the grill saw people with cameras and actively put on a show (with fire), even though this is his role I still think it's nice how he actively looked for people so everyone could take a picture to capture the moment
-Usually if you have any dietary needs you need to call ahead, I didn't know what the menu was going to consist of and I'm that guy who goes to the Japanese restaurant but can't eat seafood. I told one of the hosts that I couldnt eat seafood and they catered to my need. Instead of seafood they substituted for meat or veges which they didn't have to but was much appreciated.
The food was fantastic. So good. In the double Main I had the chicken and Wagyu beef which was part of a 7 course meal.
Course1: Miso Souo.
Considering I don't have many places to compare to I found the Miso soup nice, not overwhelming but not underdiluted. My group actually had the seafood variation of it which came with Prawns and they were praising it. The nice young lady who served me didn't realise I didn't eat seafood and when I asked if they had normal Miso she didn't hesitate to switch it.
Course2: 8 appetisers.
Course3: Chicken
Chicken was really good and came with nice sauces which really complimented the taste. It wasnt chewy or difficult to down. Looking at the Salmon equivalent it looked like it just split and fell into the chopsticks and actually looked really appetising.
Course4: Sashimi (beef for me seafood for the rest)
Here instead of the Sashimi I was given sliced beef. This was amazing. I believe it was cooked rare if not a little bluer(not the colour). The meat just melted in my mouth, before I knew it, it was all gone. I wish I had more but I know if there was more I wouldn't have gotten through the rest of the food.
Course5: Seaweed Salad
Not much to write here, I believe it's just a simple salad with seaweed and sauces. Debatable whether you needed this or not, but it helped fill the stomach none the less
Course 6: Wagyu Steak
First and foremost the presentation on this was stunning. As with all dishes. But I think the little box and rolled mat gave it nice touch. The Wagyu steak was medium and you could really taste the difference between this and other meat. Wagyu just has this texture about it, it's the cream of the crop in meats. It came with this brown sauce which I can't remember the name of, it was so good. It was really creamy and complimented the texture of Wagyu meat.
Course 7: Desert
For desert I ordered Vanilla Ice cream with Berry sauce. I expected just a bowl with ice cream and sauce on top. Boy was I wrong. It came out on this platform which had baking soda? Sprinkled on it and cream. On the plat form was a square stone container that had the Berry sauce on it. Under the Berry sauce was the ice cream and you're given quite a generous out as well.
Went here for sisters bday today. It was veryy yum restaurant and the food was gorgeous appearance wise and tasted amazing as well. The food was a bit slow to come but was delicious. Wagyu beef and teriyaki salmon I recommend!
What a place! Thank you for making our family meal special. The quality of ingredient is just so fresh. My parents are normally quite picky but even they were very impressed. Thank you. We will def come back again.
Great service, amazing food and good ambience. Not too dark and fantastic view of the chefs cooking. Went the extra mile to bring out a mini cake with dessert for my birthday even though they didn't know about it earlier.
Would definitely go again.
Thank you Bowz
Dinner at the restaurant was superb, wait staff was friendly to answer any questions. We ordered set menu, comes with 8 different types of appetizer, very tasty. I love the plating and the flaming grill seafood cooked perfectly. Love my tiramisu dessert. I love how they present the dishes, looks fantastic and taste delicious. I fully recommend this for a Japanese teppanyaki experience.
This is a real find in Auckland. Delicious food in good portion. We ordered set menu about $35-40 per person. Comes in 8 kinds of appetizers, good combination of flavour and quite tasty. The main in good portion enough for average adult. Cook to my liking, meat is really tender and delicious. Very nice plating and there are variety of deserts to choose from. reasonable prices. Friendly staff. The service is outstanding. Over all delicious meal. Recommend this lovely little restaurant as much as it deserves. Will definitely come back again.
My Favourite Japanese restaurant! Love the food and especially the premium wagyu beef! We usually grab the GrabOne voucher for the 8 course meal because it's a lot cheaper! Love this place!!!!!
We bought the grabone premium wagyu teppan set, food is very good. Service is top notch. The wagyu they serve are from Kagoshima, which is one of the best in Japan. Been to Japan many times, I can vouch their wagyu taste the same. The chef went & design our dessert into a birthday cake even though they're about to close. Will definitely come back again.
Have been there for many times. The best authentic Japanese teppanyaki place. Wagyu is a must try. Fantastic food and service. They provide a cake for us today, as it is our anniversary, which is a surprise. Definately will come again. :)
Came here with my sister on a strangely busy Tuesday lunch. It was actually super nice, despite my never having heard of it before! We both got the miso-teriyaki salmon fillet along with accompanying vege and miso soup. Everything was really well done and extra kudos for the crispy skin on the side. Will definitely be back.
Great teriyaki salmon lunch at a reasonable price although we were seated out of sight of cooking.
One thing to be aware of is drinks are not included here on Groupon vouchers. We had a $50 Groupon voucher. Food for two was $40 so we decided to have drinks to use the remaining $10 (plus pay cash for the balance). However the $10 remaining on the voucher was not accepted towards the drinks and we had to pay their full value in cash.
I love Japanese food and last night was my first night dining at this restaurant, I loved it the food was well made and fresh. It was well presented and I loved everything, my favourite was the fresh sashimi and miso soup, also the crayfish was beautiful
The beef sashimi is the best I have even had, juicy tender. Salmon set is great, food is very delicious. Desserts are good but not great. Staff are very nice, nice atmosphere. Love it.
We went to bowz with the groupon voucher for lunch. It Was pretty good... quick and friendly service.
The food was quite nice, the portion was quite small I thought, and it would be quite an expensive lunch with out the voucher... but it was tasty! I ordered the steak... and it was cooked perfectly.
I had the Bowz Deluxe set with fish of the day and Wagyu. We're sitted by the teppanyaki bar so it's really fun seeing the chef preparing the food. Most dishes are presented very pretty and all tasted really good.
I was quite pleased with my lunch experience here today. We were promptly greeted by the chef and waitress - both of whom had a lovely manner - and were seated in a table over by the window. We all ordered lunch sets that were $20-25 each with salad, miso soup, mains with some vegies and rice. Although the portion sizes were not generous, they were decent and served pretty quickly. The steak was probably the nicest out of the dishes ordered. I enjoyed my meal well enough although I wasn't particularly wowed... so this review should really have been a 3.5, but I've added half a point for the wonderful and prompt customer service!
My wife and I were there yesterday .
We were the first to be there .
The young waiter politely ushered us to the table .
He followed up with the menus and asked us what drink we would like to have .
Being the first time there he briefed us what the menu was like and mentioned to us the head chef is also the owner .
We had our choices selected .
Outstanding service and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the evening .
Parking was easy too .
Highly recommended and we look forward to go back when our children are back from Australia or friends from overseas .
Amazing tepanyaki experience. Took my mum here for her bday and was blown away with their food and fantastic hospitality. They truly presented a service with a smile and such efficiency in their service!
We started off with raw sashimi. Fish was very fresh and light. The salad with Miso dressing was up next and loved the Miso flavours. Next they bought out our Miso soup. Nicely made and not too salty. Also they added a prawn and fish in the soup. Very nice touch in comparison to just the normal seaweed Miso soup. They cooked our mains on the tepanyaki grilled table. Very cool to watch. Presentation of my king salmon was superbly done. Appealing to the eye and mouthwatering my taste buds. My salmon was cooked medium rare...perfect :) salmon skin was crisp..loved it. vegetables was cooked nicely and just right. Lastly, the desert was beautifully presented. We had the matcha cheesecake with red bean puree and raspberries on the side. Yum and not too sweet. The cheesecake is a must try. Very rich in cream cheese and creamy, quite different to other cheesecakes. My passionfruit sorbet accompanied them well.
Lovely meal and definitely would come back again! Ambience is cozy. Lighting is dimmed. Nice Japanese fine dining restaurant. Even parking is no hassle. A must try! :)
This place makes delicious teppanyaki food having been here a few times before. The service is very good and the staff polite. The steak and salmon here are standouts and seem quite popular.
Very good ambiance with good views and quiet environment.
The only downside is that it is on the expensive side.
I was blown away by the prime beef fillet Teppanyaki. Everything was prepared in front of you. From the miso soup to the rice, you'll experience an authentic Japanese cuisine. The chicken was also consistently to the same high standard.
Highly recommended!
Booked a table online with a course meal include two wines for two people voucher. But there was the limitation on wine. Only could choose it between one bottle of white wine and one bottle of red wine. I am sorry to talk about that but I was really uncomfortable with the same question for more than two times by different staff.
Have been going for 6+ years. They reached their peak of value for money under Naru. Now they are more expensive but still reasonable value. Once we'd drop in every month or so. Now we go every 3 or 4 months. I'm not a fan of salmon but I always have it there as it is done perfectly. Their seafood miso is always worth having. Their sake menu looks after us in warmth and coldness!
Lovely little Japanese Teppan Yaki restaurant. Nice location, easy parking and lovely food. Although the portion of the food is not huge, but they are all cooked well and tasted delicious. Sufficient for dinner!! Would recommend friends to go, particular with Groupon vouchers. It's worth the value and pleasant experience!!
Went here tonight with our friends who bought voucher on groupon. Oh my, this was a delightful meal. My husband doesnt really eat fish never mind raw fish, i was very proud of him eating raw fish and salmon on the entrees. It was a devine mixed slate of entrees with tofu, pork belly, sushi, raw fish...it was devine on the palate and the wasabi was fresh. Then came a lovely crisp sesame salad, followed by prawn miso soup and we all had mixed mains of eye fillet steak, salmon, prawns with scallops Devine!!! With stir fried veg. Dessert was had by all from the ice cream with bitter caramel in little tea cups to honey & ginger creme brulees... we all left extremely happy and will return again soon. The staff are fantastic, lovely & friendly. The chef worked very hard from the moment we arrived and was still hard at it when we left. A great 1st Japanese experience for us.
Amazing food, love their prawn and salmon miso and all the mains. We had a king salmon and a scallops and prawn and they were very fresh and tasty. Green tea (matcha) mousse and red bean was with just the right balance. Love their service only thing is it took us 2 hours to finish our dinner and my husband was already very hungry.. But food and service was great!
Absolutely awesome teppanyaki. We had the Christmas special - excellent deal for $100. Includes all the best dishes. Everything was superb. Highly recommend.
My husband and I went to Bowz for their set lunch. The food was high-quality and delicious. Well balanced set lunch. Portions were not big but the taste and variety made it up. Friendly service too.
We were especially impressed by the prawn miso soup. It has a smoky taste in it and reminds you that you are eating in a quality restaurant, not a sushi takeaway or at home. A high-quality Japanese restaurant I would love to recommend to everyone.
We were fortunate to have booked our table to this small restaurant - small but cosy. It's the second time I've been at Bowz.
We ordered cold sakes & set dinners. Appetizer was somewhat on the side of a fusion - a refreshing cold pumpkin soup, sashimi & sweet egg roll. Then came salad - a bit dry & miso soup with prawns - not too salty, but just right. The mains - wagyu, cray fish & king crab - were absolutely delicious. For desserts, we had ginger crème brûlée & ice-creams. It was another impressive dinner.
(Food - 4.5/5; Service - 3.5/5; Ambience - 4/5)
Bowz is an amazing restaurant. The food was amazing and the service at its finest. Everything was wonderful especially when the food is cooked in front of you.I went there for dinner - very appetising and appealing. The taste was no exception. Although all seemed perfect, the price was a bit high for an average sized meal. $55 - $120 for a set dinner. I would have given this place a 5 star - if only the prices were reasonable. I understand that it is luxurious, but the price range was far from the supplier considering that salt and pepper were the seasoning used. I had the set dinner Scotch fillet while my friends had the king Salmon set and the Teriyaki Set. I personally suggest the salmon set as it had a unique sauce and was most on the plate.I have very high expectations for high classed restaurants, bluntly put - this wasn't the best. The food was great, but not excellent. I have travelled around the world and have had better. This is a restaurant is great (if you have the money)
Follow for more reviews!
We dined at Bowz last night. At first glance at the menu we thought it was a bit pricy, but in the end it was 200% worth it. The staff treated us like family, so friendly and efficient. Excellent service. The food was fantastic, the meat were cooked to perfection, and very well seasoned. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to dine with quality.
Excellent dining experience, friendly staff...
Went to Bowz for the first time last Friday night. I didn't have very high expectations as usually I'm not the biggest fan of Teppanyaki. In the past I found it a bit tacky. However, I was completely impressed by the exception food, service and presentation of Bowz. I would call it Kaiseki Teppanyaki (high-end Japanese cuisine meets teppanyaki).
I ordered the Salmon dinner course menu, and right from the entrees, I could tell that this was a place where a lot of care and attention was put into everything they did. The salmon was juicy and the teriyaki sauce was perfection. My favourite dish was the special crayfish miso soup. It was like drinking heaven.
I can't recommend this place highly enough. Make sure you make the trip to this stellar Japanese institution.
Excellent service, great good, superb quality and attention to details. I love the atmosphere, decorations and the taste of the food was cooked to the absolute perfection! plus a nice selections of drinks and dessert. Will be back soon! See you again Manager Maru!
Went for dinner when I was travelling in NZ. There wasn't nice Japanese restaurant before but here it is. I didn't expect I can eat Wagyu almost the same quality as Japan.
Other dishes are also fantastic. I will definitely visit here again!!
This was the first time I tried Teppanyaki in NZ, and had a amazing experience. The restaurant is a bit small but very cozy and beautifully decorated. I chose Cray fish for my main which was superb! A bit costly but well worth to try. Enjoyed seeing those fire performance while waiting. Definitely going back soon, perhaps for the special occasion.
How often do you get the opportunity to have premium Wagyu beef, served with many other traditional yet stylish dishes inside a warm, charming environment!
Me and my friends were very pleased with the high standards this Teppanyaki offers, certainly the best we have been in a long while.
Dishes were prepared extremely well, I am so looking forward to visit there again!
Keep up the good work!
Went for dinner last night and it was fantastic!
The food is great, the chef is amazing and the staff are awesome.
We had an amazing dining experience and will definitely be going back. We had the teriyaki chicken and the eye fillet which were both amazing.
Such a great local restaurant, with amazing staff and service.
Highly recommend
Went there last weekend with family. Was warned prior to booking that service could be a bit slow as they were very busy but they did have the seating available. I decided to go anyways. Service speed was still within acceptable range for a fine dining restaurant and I appreciate the honesty during the booking. All staff where friendly and provided great proactive service. The food presentation was of a high standard.
We have eaten here twice. Both times it was outstanding with fantastic friendly and accommodating service and wonderful food that is fresh and beautifully presented.
Highly recommended. They went out of their way to make my son's 21st birthday dinner a happy and memorable experience.
We have just dined here for Mothers Day. Service was amazing, food was so fresh and cooked perfectly. Kids meals were the best we have ever seen. Restaurant is intimate. Would definitely recommend to friends and go again.
The food was cooked to perfection, the flavour was kept simple, original but outstanding. The waitor seemed a bit too busy to look after all the tables by himself though.
I have been coming here since it opened and the food standard has been maintained at the same excellent quality the entire time. Ken and Maru run a great restaurant and pay a lot of attention to detail. The lunch set menu must be the best value in town by a long shot. Consistently good service and food for many years now. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner; you won't be disappointed.
My family dines at BOWZ occasionally and have never been disappointed.
The food is fabulous, the service excellent and the owner/chef - Ken cooks all the meals to perfection.
All the mains arrive simultaneously and cooked exactly as requested.
Their dinner set menus are good value and lunch set menu is even better.
It is great food cooked exceptionally well and not overly expensive.
Excellent fresh food and friendly service. I have been often for lunches and dinner. The set lunch is really good value for money. Love watching the food being cooked on the hot plate.
Last year we had my husband's staff and myself there for Christmas work dinner. The Christmas menu was well priced and the an excellent selection.
This restaurant is AMAZING. We eat there all the time, and have yet to have anything less than a stunning meal. Beautifully fresh, light and so tasty. They cook it in front of you and you can see the effort, attention and care that goes into every part of your meal. The service is fantastic, friendly and attentive. I have recommended Bowz to everyone I know and it is the reason I have started rating on this website. Its truly that good ... you can't go wrong!
This restaurant is fantastic. Healthy dining and entertaining by the wonderful friendly team. Great sitting watching your food be prepared on the hot plate in front of you.
WEll WORTH A VISIT. Deserts are also wonderful, well presented and very tasty!
What a fabulous find this place is!
The food at Bowz is fantastic, and it is always entertaining to watch it be prepared.
The food experience was last year but I still wanna tell you it is a good choice for lunch or dinner or dating.
recommended dishes:beef tataki (raw beef with special sauce), prawn, Tuna sushi, Teppan squid and green tea ice cream
The food is delicious and so well decorated with a large variety of dishes to choose from. Sitting close to the grill is definitely a bonus as it is entertaining to watch the chefs cook the food. In addition to this, there are delicious desert options such as fruit sorbets and chocolate cake.
I’ve always loved teppanyaki and heard good words about this place for age. This was my first visit. It did not disappoint.
The teppanyaki was really authentic and absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how generous the portions were. I went for the prawns, which was lovely, but my guests had salmon and beef, and the sizes of the steaks were really impressive.
Great value for money! Highly recommend this place!
This place is seriously one of our family's all-time favourites. Their food always looks and tastes amazing. I couldn't help but give them a 5-star review because they really deserve it.
Loved the food and service! Watching the chef prepare and cook my dinner was a delight. Especially since he was super clean with mannequin hands and didn't even break a sweat! Even I was getting hot from all that heat! (I sat in front of the grill) The waiter was attentive and friendly. I'll definitely go again!
I had the 5 course meal w/ steak (lots of options to choose from). For dessert I tried a few items but the sesame sorbet and creme brulee were my favorite. Yum! No photos, too busy eating!
Had dinner here to celebrate little girl’s birthday. We ordered three sets of 5 meal course which all of us three were super enjoy the delicious cuisine. The chef is not the one but a super man who looked after the food of everyone. Little girl got a complimentary small birthday dessert after the meal as I did remark when booking. Loved it on our first visit and can definitely recommend the place to everyone.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The restaurant is small but the food is like fine dining. We had the the five course menu. Food was great, plentiful and totally memorable. Service was great. The kind of meal you would bring clients to, or for a special occasion although it is not expensive at all!
Our visit to this teppanyaki restaurant was truly exceptional. The food was exquisite, and the service surpassed our expectations. However, a member of our group experienced a medical emergency, and we had to call for an ambulance. The restaurant staff and fellow patrons showed tremendous compassion and support, with a staff member even waiting outside for the ambulance.
Under these unexpected circumstances, we had to settle the bill in a hurry. To our surprise and gratitude, the manager displayed remarkable kindness by refunding a substantial portion of our bill, going above and beyond to assist us in a difficult moment.
This exceptional act of kindness truly reflects the restaurant's commitment to outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the manager and the entire staff for their exceptional care and understanding.
First time trying here. We had the 5 courses menu with the scotch fillet and the yellow fin as main. The entree/appetiser was interesting. They give you 8 different choices of food, ranging from tofu, egg and sashimi. The sashimi was fresh and most of the other dishes was ok. The second course was miso soup which had a nice piece of prawn and grilled salmon in it which adds taste to the soup, quite a nice idea definitely to make miso soup more fancier. The next course was grilled veges which I enjoyed a lot. My favourite part of it was the eggplant and the corn. They give some torched yum yum sauce as garnish and to dip with the veges. The main course was scotch fillet and lightly grilled yellow fin tuna. The tuna had good char taste and the scotch fillet was not bad and comes with a bunch of condiment to dip.
Dessert was sorbet which we liked the matcha flavour one. Overall chef was good, cooks fast and well. Service was very good here also. Will recommend.
Very delicious , very worth the $27. The chef is very kind and the beef sirlion was very tasty with its sauce.
A second visit in as many months and it was delicious. The salmon sushi was so good, the best I’ve had (and I love sushi). The prawn and broccoli dish is my favourite and I know I’ll be craving it for days to come. My husband enjoyed the eye fillet beef, and their steak servings are generous.
