Skycity after a long time. Andys good burger, good beer. Wings a hit.Fish & Chips was really nice.Loved the ambience and nice music playing. Loved the decor and seating. Very good efficient and friendly service. Alisha was best at work, very forthcoming. They have plenty of offers. The place is open till late. Good to watch match with friends. Overall must visit.
I with my friends went to Andys on a Saturday night and the vibe was great. Mainly as the hurricanes vs blues rugby match was on going. However the seating and the crowd was very appealing. We ordered few burgers and sides. The stand out dish was the beer battered onion rings. True to the name it was fluffy and tasty and crispy. Yumm!! I ordered the Cali burger and the beef patty was yum and the whole ensemble was lovely. Soft and nice. I enjoyed my burger. The cost was not very much. I would recommend this for once atleast for the experience. But the negative is this is just regular bar food and you can get it at any outlet so you can pay cheaper as well
Absolutely amazing hot wings
The hot wings are worth the hype! Between the 2 of us - 1/4 portion of the hot wings & the honey wings plus fries on the side was more than enough & so yummy! Def recommended for a relaxed lunch!
This is a regular staple. Usually end up coming here at least once a month and it is consistently good. You cannot go wrong with the Cali classic. The wings and extra sauces here are also such a treat.
We got 2 different burgers and Amex special meal of the month. Also we got 2 house soda. Everything was really good. Only thing is, we should choose our table when it is not busy. There was only a few table and we got the table next to door. There were better tables inside. It was nice experience anyway. We'll be definitely back.
Love it here, so tasty and burgers are to die for. Fries are great too. Quite big so great if decently busy but quite hard to get service apart from that it was great!
A lovely burger joint in skycity, went on a friday night and they had a live music going, which was a bit too loud.
We ordered beef burger and jalapeno poppers and they were great, service was ok.
Andyâs chicken wings are the best! You can not go wrong!
As you can see from the picture we absolutely demolished the food.
Fantastic service also! 10/10
Came here for dinner, service was quick and friendly enough. I ordered the plain cheeseburger and it was pretty good, the side of fries it came with seemed meagre at first but was surprisingly filling overall. Onion rings were also good. I ordered a passion fruit and lime soda (?) which was good but probably not worth it for the price. The atmosphere here is alright, location is good. A bit loud at times with all the people talking and music on speakers but itâs not unpleasant.
UPDATE review *** We were craving for some fried chicken and beer at home so we decided to order takeaway:
Andyâs Hot Wings â is a MUST with blue cheese dip! Although the dip comes with these hot wings you have to specifically ask for these as one time we came home and were very disappointed there was no blue cheese dip! I donât really enjoy the sriracha type of sour taste that the chicken is covered in but it is weirdly addictive, especially with the cheese dip.
Honey soy wings - I like these better as its sweet but can get salty after having too much but beer will wash it all down.
Both types of wings are actually quite meaty, and batter is crispy. I recommend ordering one of each flavor.
BBQ Chicken Drumsticks â These looked amazing but the sauce didnât really hit the spot. The corn bread is nice, and the chicken drumsticks are quite big and soft but tasted like the meat wasnât marinated enough.
Little salad is not bad for $5. You get pumpkin seeds along with tomato and the dressing is just right.
Service is always consistent. ***
Review from 4 months ago: Ordered their weekday lunch deals: BBQ burger which is served with a beef patty and bacon on yummy Brioche Bun. I was craving for something greasy and this really hit the spot, only $12.00 and it comes with fries.
Excellent service â while we had lunch here we probably had around 4-5 different staff and they were all very well-mannered and really looked after you, which is exceptional especially when it was a public holiday.
If you are looking for some good burgers in Auckland with some options of good sides then look no further Andyâs Burger and Bar is here. Right smack in the middle of the CBD located inside of Sky City this place is really accessible. They serve great burgers, buffalo wings, pork ribs, thick shakes, wine, cocktails and beer, what more can you ask for, it is the perfect hangout on a weekend afternoon.
Went there on new yearâs eve, was good, the atmosphere was perfect, we had a good foods and service, i tried the fish burger, chicken wings and couple of mocktails, they are soo good, i mean nothing goes wrong with mocktails tho
I went here for lunch with my friend. And the place had good food and vibe. I had the fish burger which I enjoyed very much. The batter for the fish was really crispy đ unfortunately the drink I had with it which was the lemon and pomegrante soda was disappointing. It didnt taste anything like pomegrante, just lemon and sprite.
Yooooo Andy's mad lit!!!!! To be fair my mates and I are damn locals to this place. We literally went here every Wednesday for 2 or 3 months.
We always grab their hot spice buffalo wings which are amazing and their burgers are decent too. Great vibes as well (great for drinks as well)
Got no hate for this place. The waiters are amazing too.
Good place to hang out and chill with friends on the Friday evening! Variety of main and snacks and drinks available. They have live music, bar, tv screens throughout the restaurant. Would come here again.
Andy's has a very good lunch deal. Only $12 for what's pictured! A drink, small burger, fries and chicken. Everything is up to good standards. Of course another one of those places that I'll revisit when I'm nearby :)
Service was excellent but food was delayed due to technical issue. Free chips was provided while waiting.
Food and portioning is reasonable.
Andyâs is my go-to place when Iâm around Sky City. Their food menu is good and has quite a variety to choose from.
Iâve tried their burgers, fish and chips and chicken wings. They give you a big portion and the taste is good, but nothing surprising. [Food: 3/5]
The food took a little too long to come, about 20-30 minutes. But the waitresses Iâve encountered from here have all been really nice. [Service: 4/5]
Andyâs has got a pub/bar theme, which is quite chill. So you can come without having to dress up fancy. Their pricing ranges from $12-$25, pretty affordable for a food place at Sky City. [Price: 4/5]
Very good service and very good food. Fries come with burgers which is a plus. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant has a diner-esque feel.

Came here twice already with a group of friends and on New Yearâs Eve. Everywhere is full to the brim but luckily we got seats after 10 mins of waiting. They do pretty decent steak, wings and fish&chips. You do have to wait for the food for a bit. Usual $20+ price but comes at decent portion. You can always doggy bag if you canât finish. We ordered the sundae and itâs massive. Service could be improved though, hard to get their attention at times and at both occasions, waitress seems to try avoid eye contact and abit grumpy!
Andyâs has become one of our go-to spots for the last 2-3 years now, Especially on Wednesdayâs for the $1 wings :)
Service is always prompt & friendly. Special shout out to Basil & Nico (Niko sorry if I spelt it wrong) they have the best customer service, on to it, super friendly & welcoming. Thank you guys for always making our dining experience at Andyâs that much more pleasant!!
This place is amazing. Food is delicious. And our waiter Nico was the nicest person đ
Will 100% come here again. #cheeseburger#lemonandrasberry
This pl is awesome for a nice burger & a beer if you are in sky city casino or just in town & want casual dining that isnât bk,McDonaldâs,burger burger etc. Price is good, size is good , quality is good. Def recommend this pl.

Dinner during office christmas party 13.12.18 with office mates, beer battered onion ring, andyâs hot chicken wings and the cheeseburger as our choice as food before started the heavy drinking night
Very nice, I had the Waikiki pork burger, partner had the bbq deluxe burger, he said it was really good. I wouldâve liked the pork in mine to be abit more shredded but was still yummy. The bacon mayo was the shit! The honey soy nibbles tasted abit weird to our liking.. and the Sodas were the bees knees! Pomegranate and lemon YUMMY!!
Itâs a nice and casual place despite being in Skycity. The live acoustic music on Wednesdays are a really nice touch. The place has a nice ambiance and it never gets overly noisy even with the live background music.
I go here every couple of weeks for their Wednesday Wings deal ($1 each). The hot wings arenât too spicy (Iâm a hot sauce aficionado so disregard that) but they arenât bland either, theyâre just right for everyone. The honey soy wings are good too.
Aside from the wings, Iâd like to say the majority of the food is pretty good. The burgers are all good and decent tasting despite them falling apart from too much filling like many places. Itâs all standard fare done right and theyâve kept up the standard over the years Iâve visited.
The tap beer follows tread set by the food. Itâs all good quality beer that a craft drinker wouldnât snob at and a regular beer drinker wouldnât be confused by. On a side note, the house soda is really nice.
Came here to try out the Buffalo wings. Really cool vibe and atmosphere, had the Chicken burger which was good, and the Peanut Butter shake drink also good. Wings are ok, but overall good place :)
Went and ate here last night. The food was so good. I have alot of food that seem basic but are really well made and this place nailed it. Cheeseburger, fish burger, honey soy wings and a nutella and banana shake. It was perfect!
I love this new addition to the restaurant line up at SKYCITY. Andyâs has such a feel good vibe about it and gives a really good American burger joint experience.
Their brioches are quite soft and often times fall apart as you try to eat your burger but that doesnât even matter when the food tastes so good! I usually get âthe Caliâ burger.
Whilst Iâve never tried them, they do have unique milkshakes.
Yummy burgers, good selection of sides and shakes that a regular burger bar doesnt usually offer, in the sky tower and casino so that's another plus, good value for money and great customer service.
My only regret is not ordering enough wings, they were so good! I also recommend the halloumi fries! The burger was also really good, I ordered the deluxe bbq burger. I regret not trying something different so I will getting the lamb one next time! I'll definitely come back , hopefully with more room in my belly for those wings !!!
GREAT chicken wings and pork ribs. Fries are great too. The burgers are alright but everything else was superb! I prefer the fish&chips than the burger. Great service too
Nice vibrant dining environment. We were quite lucky as it was Friday night and they had a really good life band on. Great place to watch rugby too.
All of us enjoyed our burgers, the filling was flavorful, and even the brioche buns were yummy. All of the burgers were served with fries too so the serving sizes were very decent. For sides, would recommend the hot wings: the buffalo sauce with the blue cheese dip was magical!
Very good price & value for being in the sky tower.
Itâs my second time to eat at Andyâs Burgers and Bar. Iâm glad I ordered the special of the day â the burger truffle melt (I hope I got the name right, Iâm quite sure that the key words are right there). It has juicy patty, bacon and truffle mushroom sauce. Iâve been craving for anything truffle since Iâve moved to Auckland but couldnât find any truffle dish, not even pasta. I was sooo glad that I found this one. And it did not disappoint. The patty was juicy, the truffle mushroom sauce tastes just quite right. One thingâs for sure, Iâll definitely come back for this. I give it âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž!
We also ordered pork crackling. It was freshly-cooked to the point that I still heard it crackling when served.
I've been wanting to check out Andy's since it first opened up since alot of my male friends raved about it so here goes:
The Persian - Lamb patty is not minced up but a slab of lamb, cooked well, really juicy and tasty, not a fan of the chorizo which didnât add much to the flavours and made it harder to chew, sour cream really cut through the richness of the lamb and went well with the salsa, canât comment on the buns because swapped to lettuce wrapping (eating out too much re August Restaurant Month), burger looked small when it came out but actually perfect amount as it comes with fries 7/10 not my fav burger unlikely I would get again
Kumara fries - just the right thickness (or thinness should I say since I like thinner fries - think Maccas fries), sweet on the inside, crunchy on the outside 10/10 (costs $3 extra to change to kumara fries which is ridic but Iâd do it)
Short rib & jalapeño nuggets - dang these are sooo crunchy on the outside but just melts on the inside, the short rib is so tender and the jalapeños give it the perfect punch of flavour, and goes so well with the white sauce 10/10 and worth the 10bucks
Hot wings ($1 each on Wednesdays) - i wouldnât pay for this if it wasnât on a Wednesday as the wings are quite small but they are very tender and smothered in hot sauce which goes well with the blue cheese dip, but both flavours are quite strong not my most favourite flavours for wings 7/10
Side note: I like the atmosphere of the bar & restaurant - good amount of spacing so you don't feel squished, tvs to watch sports, but ofc you gotta pay for the prices since it is in skycity
I'd come back to try out the cheeseburger
Really great selection for burgers and super filling! Tried the fish burger and it was generous and just what I was craving for, I wouldn't say it's for everyone because the wasabi mayo may not to be for everyone's taste but it was not super spicy and it comes with a side of fries. But be mindful when ordering sauces, they're an extra charge and doesn't come with ur meals if u want something other than the ketchup or mustard or chilli sauce.
Also because it's at sky city the price is a bit on the expensive sideđ
Checked-in at Andyâs Burger on a Friday night and our first impression was - it was rowdy! But donât get us wrong, we liked it the way it is. The surrounding noise was a blend of people chatting about their rough week at work, a rugby game being played on the TV screen, and a jam of UB40âs âRed red wine.â Definitely not a place for a quiet dinner, but a good spot for a Friday chill with friends or work colleagues.
I got their Deluxe BBQ Cheeseburger for $16.50 and it was really tasty. Aside from the juicy patty, I enjoyed the McClureâs pickles and the bacon mayo (đ) on my burger. We also tried the Andyâs Hot Wings but I was not really a fan of it except its blue cheese dip. Then I decided to go for the Strawberry and Lime soda for my drink and it was a good choice.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience here. The staff are very accommodating and were really well-composed despite a busy Friday night. Cheers đ» to that!

Yummm!! Delicious burgers with generous amounts of ingredients inside! They also have shakes which are on point! The atmosphere is one of the best Iâve eaten in and I would definitely go back again!!!
The service is fantastic and friendly.
The burger is so delicious and well executed.
You can have your beef patty medium or well done.
The place is spacious with nice interior and great for large group.
Price is affordable and the best thing is they open late.
The staff was friendly and the food was great. Considering it was a busy Friday night the wait wasnât too long and the food was amazing. The staff were really friendly and the service was great
Second time I'd been here, yesterday. Originally discovered Andy's on my quest for awesome burgers. First time: outstanding burgers, but the lamb ribs (no longer available) appeared to have no salt (takeaway order, but you know they would have fixed that).
Dined in this time. Service was friendly, food didn't take too long and all dishes came out together, hot. All burgers were fantastic and well presented. BBQ sauce was a little rich, but my fries mopped up any excess. Excellent being able to order a med-rare burger (that flavour!). Burgers may appear smaller than your average fare, but they come with fries and with the rich flavours and good ingredients - you *know* you've been burgered.
I am obsessed with Andys! They have $1 wings every Wednesday. I always get their hot wings because theyâre so good! (They arenât actually spicy) their chocolate milkshake is good for those who love some intense chocolate. The strawberry milkshake is really good, it tastes fresh. I highly recommend going to Andyâs on Wednesdayâs for their $1 wings, milkshakes and fries
Defiantly the best wings out there. Service has always been great and staff are very friendly. Cheap parking if you spend $40 or more which is great!
It is extremely hard to find a good vegetarian burger around in Auckland and Andys burgers is the place where you would find one.
The burger was massive with ample amount of filling. The patty was the most delicious patty I have ever had.
All in all if your craving burgers - think no more , this is the place to be :)
Finally got to try it on a busy friday night! They had live singers and they absolutely made my night, beautiful voices and good song choices (HA it rhymes )Â
I got the cheese burger cooked at medium, it was delicious, perfect portion too, not too big or small yet super satisfying. Kumara fries are very good but onion rings were the best omg ... YUM
Will come back for drinks next time, was too tired to get any but will be back ! >:D
First time here, great ambiance and good service too. We ordered burgers with sweet potatoes chips but was given fries but we got complimentary sweet potatoes chips due to the kitchen mistakes. Arrived there just before the end of the happy hours, we ordered 3 jugs of beer at $15.50 each which was a great deal. Will definitely be back and you can sat as long as you want because they opened 24hrs too.
This is not a full review as we only stopped here for a snack.
We went through the casino side as the other side had a line. When we sat down the waiter quickly came over with menus and water.
We ordered a small fries and a Truffle Mayo. The fries come with tomato sauce.
The fries were as good as any. The truffle mayo was amazing. It was creamy and had a subtle hint of truffle flavour. Quite the upgrade from your classic mayonnaise. The tomato sauce was also a hit, it was not as thick but it definitely contained different herbs and tasted almost like it could be a pasta sauce.
Enjoyed the wings over lunch. Havenât tried anything else yet. The beer was chilled and the chips decent. Ambience is about average for the type of place
Backdated when the NBA finals were on, Andyâs burger bar was an excellent spot to catch the finals while enjoying a delicious meal. A fantastic atmosphere for the finals, there were a little bit too much Golden State Bandwagon fans for my liking. I had the cheeseburger combo, the burger was a good size and it was nice that the beef patties had some weight in them.Â
Showstopper: Awesome venue to watch the NBA finals and the burgers are great as well.
Overall Grade: B+
Love this restaurant! Whether it being the friendly staff that have such a great sense of humour, or the quality of the food! The pork burger is by far my favourite, but you cannot skip past the hot wings and a cheeky beer. 10/10 would recommend!
Service is always consistent here. Love the ribs, very tasty and you can't go past the chicken wings. They have great specials for premier members. Also have another restaurant so you can bring your family members without accessing the casino floor.
I drop in here after playing at the casino.
They can make a lovely burger BUT their downfall is consistency.
For instance, I used to love the smoked cheddar on the cheeseburgers, but now theyâve changed it but not changed it on the menu.
Sometimes they ask how you would like the burger cooked, sometimes not. So it can be anywhere between rare and well done.
Few tweaks and this place would be golden :)
Still on my search to find the Spur Rib replacement that is nearby. I enjoyed the chips and the ribs. These were cooked over a flame which is how it is meant to be! Though they are located right inside Sky City up near the casino which is probably why I had never tried it before. Service was friendly, no complaints and I did enjoy these ribs and they were well priced as well. $20 for a decent sized portion of Ribs but you do need to order the chips as an extra. They are very close to Spur Ribs but not there yet. Very spicy as well but I was happy and satisfied. Already recommended to colleagues and would go again given the opportunity. Still yet to try the Ribs at Dixies Devonport. The pictures from there look fantastic.
Excellent customer service and ambience, great food and child friendly. We totally enjoyed the music and atmosphere here. We had the Deluxe BBQ cheeseburger, Cali classic burger, Andyâs hot wings, BBQ ribs, fish and chips, Oreo cheesecake, strawberry shake, Nutella shake and Nutella/Peanut butter shake. They are all delicious!! We had a great dining experience and will definitely come back.
Very yummy burgers, alright serving sizes that are filling. The ambience is very neat and aesthetically pleasing. Its good how theres a section in the middle for the bar too

Have been here a couple of times with my mates and my partner. It is such a great place to hang out and also the service was so friendly and attentive! Burgers are top notch, and you can never go wrong with the hot wings! If you donât like it spicy, go for the honey wings. Theyâre just as delicious :) keep up the good work!
p.s: sorry I didnât take photo of the burgers as we were so hungry lol. But we had the chicken, cheese, and texas bbq brisket burgers. Theyâre amazing!
We have been to Andy's so many times and honestly cannot fault it! Insanely delicious, tender and juicy burgers to die for! There is plenty of choice for burgers, from pork to chicken to beef etc. All can be easily personalised, adding ingredients or removing them. Also come with fries, with food to easily fill. Staff provide quick service and are friendly and attentive. Only one recommendation would be to order a side just to ensure you are filled up - we always order wings and these are a big favourite with my family! We will of course be back for these great burgers at great prices!
The burgers are delicious and definitely worth the amount you get for them. If you're keen to try something new, get the steak fries with bacon mayo đ yummy asf!
Iâve been to Andyâs burger three times and honestly looking forward to the next time I go there! Service is absolutely outstanding, waitresses are bubbly and know how to crack harmless jokes every now and then. Their burgers here are delicious especially with the side of steak fries (which I recommend getting bacon mayo with) their wings are so crispy and juicy and thick shakes are super refreshing. Though recently I passed the restaurant in the morning and came to find that they do breakfast buffets! Which are even more delicious! Eggs are creamy and fluffy, bacon is smoked and crispy and mushrooms and pancakes and to die for!
the chicken burger not that good now compare with the time when they newly open, chickens are dried and over cooked. I like their lamb rib and fries, garden salad, always fresh.
Andy's burgers and bar is the best!! Yummy burgers and frys.. sauces are delicious and tasty... reasonable price.. recommend if your after a burger and a beer while watching the game đ
I had 1/4 hot chicken wings and they were delicious, and totally worthy the price of $11.50 (top of my head). My partner had a beef burger which he said was alright, nothing amazing but above average & worth the price as it comes with fries!
Overall I think this place is great for a quick eat, group catch up, or when your drunk and wanting a good feed! (It's open 24hrs and service is pretty spot on!)
Don't be fooled if it doesn't look busy it's a big bar with seats all around the place!
I got a coupon of free fried chicken wings from Casino. Although I only ordered the free fried chicken for taking way, the staff packed it very well. The chicken is crispy and I like them. Also recommended by my friend, their burgers are delicious. Next time I will go try them.
Andy's is one of the best places to go for burgers in Auckland!
amazing food, great atmosphere and affordable đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
Loved the food here! Great little burger bar inside the Skycity complex, very affordable and the burgers were amazing. Definitely will be going again and being 24 hours is convenient too!
Great variety of burgers with more awesome sides.Really enjoyed the visit to Andy's burger.
Relished hot wings, falafel, chicken and falafel burger.
We started off with some falafels and hot wings, both were enjoyable and tasty. The falafels were slightly dry but the dressing was delicious so I smothered them in it, the hot wings came with a blue cheese dressing which I'm not a fan of but the wings were good on their own anyway. Next we had the deluxe bbq cheeseburger and a chicken burger. The meat in both burgers had a nice charred flavour but they were dry, not well seasoned and just not very flavoursome overall. Perhaps it's lacking a good sauce or a better combination of ingredients to tie everything together.
I've given it a 4/5 rating because the tasty appetisers and good service we received made up a little for the underwhelming burgers we had.
Love the burgers here. The steak fries as a side are super yum! The falafel is really good too! Anyone who likes burgers should come here. Totally cool.
First time trying this Burger shop next to casino. Tried the Lamb burger, hot wings and Washed down with Emmerson's Bookbinder.
Lamb Burger was good. It's comparable to WhiteLady's burger, although it does suffer a downside from being slightly salty.
The Hot Wings are great too, but again, its abit too salty.
Emmerson Bookbinder was great Beer.
Overall, its a good place to catch up with your mates. The ambience and service is good and relaxing after a tiring day at work.
Personally looking for the best burger in town, my mate who is a burger fanatic brought me here, the ambience is nice enough considering it's in the middle of casino and the service is your usual standard.Â
We each had "the cheeseburger", falafel and shoestring fries. The burger I must say was exceptional, very rich and filling, delicious. Fries weren't bad but they're just fries here and the falafel was crispy on the outside but so tasteless on the inside.
Not the best burger in town for me but definitely a top ten, top five.
Absolutely loved our first visit to this place. I almost don't want to give it a positive review because I want to keep it a secret. The service was great, prompt and friendly. And, the food was delicious! I had hamburger with cheese and fries. Both were cooked perfectly and I was so happy. The sodas had a little too much ice for my liking so there was hardly any liquid to drink. Hence the 4/5
Good burgers and chips. Also got chicken nibbles as they had a special on them. They were really tasty. Customer service was okay. We wanted to get the chocolate pie to share but we're told it was a 20 min wait so decided not to get it. We were also served a dirty plate though our waitress was very apologitic about it. Nice and cozy seating which was nice.
I'm not a fan of burger but came because of my husband. It's my first time having lamb burger with corn. I like the combination, quite interesting.
BBQ Ribs and steak chips was absolutely yummy. Portion was generous well worth the money. The waiter was friendly and reasonable wait time. Would definitely dine here again.
The staff was welcoming and very friendly service as far better than I heard about it and the food took bit time to reach but was delicious better then other fast food chains and fries are fresh n hot.
Love to visit again â€ïž

Who goes to a burger place for burgers?
Andy's Burger & Bar has the best hot wings.
Wednesday $1 wing is what you need.
I like them so much I could prob eat 20 but I dont really want to look like a pig and scare off my gf so I stick to my dozen.
I suggest Little Creature's Pale Ale as the beer you order with the wings.
We came here for a late dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The chickenis cooked perfectly. Loved the spicy sour sauce. The haloumi chips is to die for with the dip. The ribs.....is so soft and melt in your mouth and not sickening. The ribs r my favourite.
Totally recommended !! Will come back for sure.
Only tried the cherry choco shake, apparently it's dairy free. It's tastes better then I expected, like a cherry ripe shake. Service was attentive, filing up our water often.
Came to Andys Burgers after a friends 21st birthday because they were open 24/7. Highly recommended by one of our friends who has been here often and was not disappointed! The place is very chill and being inside you'd almost forget you were inside sky city and right by the casino.
Chicken Burger - 3 of us ordered these burgers and I had mine wrapped in lettuce. The portion sizes were massive and satisfying which I did not expect from a meal provided in sky city. The chicken thigh was perfection! Super tender and juicy. No complaints at all!
The Cheeseburger - Standard and traditional cheeseburger layout but the beef patty was grilled to medium which made the burger super tender. Probably wouldn't order it though, simply because there was nothing else that made this Burger stand out compared to other gourmet cheeseburgers. But definitely a try if you love your classic burgers
Best burger place I've been to in New Zealand. Staff are very friendly and always helpful with recommendations. Their lamb burger with corn kernels is to die for, and the beers form Emerson's brewery in Dunedin are the best. I will post some pics the next time I go there.
Good atmosphere and good burgers! Both cheeseburger and fish burger are great! The most special one is the mushroom melt which is not always avaliable.
Used to go to the casino side as you get the mate rate with casino's card - however if you want to get better service, better to go to another side!
Love the menu at Andy's. I went a couple of months ago, not sure if they still do the Tuesday burger deals but they're great. I had the chicken burger which was good and came with lots of shoestring fries. The highlight for me was actually the side salad. It had the tastiest dressing and was filled with feta and hazelnuts. It was also a huge salad, and for only $5 I was pleasantly surprised!
Wonderful, bright and abgreat atmosphere for a Friday night. Friends and I went there for a coffee/tea and for their desserts. The Oreo Cheesecake is absolutely delicious and is a must try. It's not too sweet and has raspberry juice and fruit as it's topping with cream. A chilled out place where you can also grab a burger and a beer and watch some sports. âïž
I tried their yummy burgers. I just said to myself Thanks God someone making good burgers in New Zealand. Keep it up guys.
Just friendly reminder please put a bit salt in burger meat.
Thanks guys.....
Andy's burges & bar reminds me of a typical American diner. We thought that the food would be slighty pricey as it is inside the Sky City but we were surprised, its actuall very affordable!
We had the cheeseburger and oh boy it was delicious and juicy! Very mouthwatering indeed! We also ordered their hot and spicy wings. I love spicy food but the wings weren't spicy and the vinegar (an ingredient as part of the coating) was so strong that we couldnt taste the chicken!!!
I will come back and sample other dishes, but this place is worth a visit.
Surprised at how affordable the food was even though this restaurant is connected to the casino. Most places are always $$$. We ordered the falafel burger, FREE-RANGE pork ribs, and halloumi covered fries. The pork meat fell off the bone. My mate who ate the burger said the falafel wasn't dry and the burger itself was perfectly sized. Would recommend if you're visiting Sky City. If you sit outside you get the view of the sky tower if you look up!
Seating and environment; great, food; great (such as their special burgers đ), drinks; great (love the passionfruit & lime house soda) price; pretty good for the quality of food and staff would've been great if not for 1 staff that did and does not ask if you're done with your food (which still have food on the plate) before taking it. I still had corn on the plate then she comes out of nowhere and takes it without asking or a word (costs $6 which gets you 3 small half corn). I waited if she would realize that A CORN UNEATEN IS STILL ON THE PLATE but nope.. so Overall thoughts, was really thinking of asking whether i could only pay $4 instead of $6 since she threw my last corn away. But regardless really cool restaurant to have lunch or dinner with friends or even by yourself, won't regret it! and as for that 1 staff- will definitely not be the reason I stop coming. If ever you see this please ask before you take plates, at least ones that still have food on them. Thanks. ZomatoStudents

Aucklands Burger Game is strong right now, but Andy's Burgers is definitely one of the contenders for best! Juicy old school burgers with a twist. Loaded with flavours and sauce and stacked high... so good! They also have a cool selection of sides to go with them too. We say team your mouth watering burger with the classic combo of crunchy fries and shake... drools!
Last night was the first time trying Andy's burger bar and I would recommend it to any of my friends travelling to Auckland. Friendly staff and the food was great!
Went here for a burger with my flatmate. We didn't know quite what to expect from a burger spot in SkyCity, but boy were we in for a treat. We both ended up going for the BBQ pork ribs which were 3 big pieces for just under $20. The sauce was just right - sweet and savory without being over the top. It went down well with the wedges (which came with a delicious truffle mayo) and the green salad which we got as sides to share. Overall we paid under $50 altogether for a pretty satisfying meal. The waitresses were really friendly and chatty. Note to self - try their burgers next time!
I had been here before for the hot wings, and decided to try the deluxe cheeseburger this time. Food took quite a while to arrive. When it did, however, it was tasty. Fries lacked a bit of salt, but the award-winning hot sauce they have on the tables ensured every single one of them went down a treat. I'd recommend avoiding the tall tables as they're right on top of aircon vents, annoyingly.
Love the falafel burger. I love a saucy burger so I always ask for extra sauce which is just makes it that much better. Desserts are also pretty good.
Have heard all sorts of good stuff about this place. Glad we finally made it here. Service was good although it was a bit awkward when we first walked in cos no one greeted us and we didn't know whether we should take a seat or wait to be seated.
I ordered a lamb burger and a cherry coco thick shake and my partner ordered the barbecue ribs and a raspberry and lemon soda. Pleased to say, the food was just delicious. I really enjoyed the fries that came with my burger as well as the burger itself. Although, it was quite disappointing that the burger buns were heated and soft. It was quite 'dry' and 'cold' which was a bummer. The shake was alright.
My partners barbecue ribs was beautiful! The meat was falling right off the bone and was so juicy and succulent. Flavours were on point. He said that this was one of the best ribs he's ever had! đŻ
Honestly, would come back here again - as they say "simple things done well" đđœ
For some reason during my stay at Sky City hotel, we had breakfast arranged at Andy's Burgers. Although we did not have burgers, I really enjoyed having breakfast here. The variety is pretty standard (bacon, eggs, fruit, cereal, you name it) but were really delicious! I especially liked the guava juice, hash brown and tater tots. Their pastries and danishes were amazing too! Free access to all sorts of sauces were also a plus.
The interior and deco is very modern and gives a relaxing and colourful vibe which I really liked. I would come back to try their burgers when in Auckland next time!
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night.
Positives:
Relatively good prices
Good atmosphere
Attentive staff
Negatives:
The cookie burger was horrible. It tasted as though salt instead of sugar was put into the cookie batter. The only good thing about it was the ice cream.
Need to bring ID for the bathroom or else you have to take the elevator to the ground floor to use the bathrooms there.
I'm giving a 5/5 because of the perfectly made chicken wings. Their wings aren't from Earth, nice and crisped to perfection on the outside and tender juicy flesh when biting in. You'll wonder how you can re-create this for infinite indulgence but sadly its impossible to replicate. Oh and burgers are nice.
Talia Dickinson and I ate awesome steak with blue cheese sauce and a side of green beans... great value for money and nice selection.
The waitress was a bit new so had a bit of an awkward start but clean plates and empty glasses made for a nice lunch date
Situated in Skycity, Andy's Burgers&Bar is the best place for having a meal after enjoying the amazing view of Auckland city from the top most level of the tower.
Had the Thursday special Red burger and Orange Dandy Soda. The burger is to die for. Great ambience and the staff their is friendly.
I was hearing good things about this place, so I escaped the office on Friday afternoon to witness the hype first hand.Â
I was surprised how big the restaurant was. For whatever reason I was expecting a setting no larger than your average Burger Fuel, but there must've been at least 60 tables all up.
The ambiance makes you feel like you're in an American diner, effectively a more upbeat version of Denny's. The service however, was vastly superior to Denny's. We were welcomed and had our orders placed within five minutes of being taken to our seats. Great.Â
I ordered the lamb burger with an orange soda, and my colleague ordered the beef burger with a raspberry soda. We both thought the sodas were rubbish, and should be revamped or removed from the menu pronto.Â
Our burgers arrived after 25 minutes and things went uphill from there. My lamb was a good size and was cooked to perfection. The sweet corn salad complimented the lamb very well, and was a nice change to simply adding lettuce and tomato. The buns could have been heated slightly more, but that's just personal preference. Â
I won't rush back here, but Andys is a very good option for those looking for a decent burger in a lively setting.
Best burgers, Best hot wings, Great service, Good value, Â my all time go to! My favourite is the beef burger with haloumi YUM.
10/10 Burgers.
But should have stuck to burgers only as the place is a 'burger' place.
Fish and Chips is a disappointment and they should probably just name it 'special fish and chips' or just stick to the original fish and chips. It had some sort of seeds and spices, which made it taste more like an indian fried fish...
Love the concept and great location. Considering it's a burger place, I expected a little bit more from the burger. The portion size and ingredient variety were there, but the flavour just didn't quite do it for me.
I loved the fried chicken though (had the honey soy chicken). Was cooked really well and the flavours packed a punch.
While I wouldn't be rushing back to eat their burgers, I am definitely going to go back for more chicken. Oh and their thick shakes + truffle aioli dip are pretty awesome!
I thought Velvet Burger served good burgers and have only heard about Andy's Burgers from a work mate and ads of FB.
After being given totally crappie service from Velvet Burger on Federal- we went over to Andy's Burgers.
Tastiest. BURGERS. Ever!!!
Good value for money too.
Ordered the Andy's Burger with Cheese. It comes with chips. It also had a good amount of veggies - a good balanced meal I thought lol.
There's a lot more on the menu I'll be coming back for to try.
Aaaaaaaaaaand, they're open 24/7!!! It's quite spacious too.
The wait staff are lovely as well.
Already thinking of what to have for my next visit.
We went here for a friend's 31st! It's my first time here and I like the vibe or feel of the place though I'm not getting the American diner feel to it. Nonetheless, the interior was nice.
So I had the cheeseburger, banana&nutella shake and some wings. It was all #yummy but the winner really was their truffle mayo! I want it on everything. Haha. And the price wasn't that bad. I'll recommend this place to friends.
Best Hot wings/ Buffalo wings the SO has possibly ever had, and really good fish. Aniseed, fennel and a touch of curry makes a nice difference to plain old fish n chips :)
I dont know what magic you have brewing back in the kitchen but those chicken burgers were dope. Basic assemble, easy to hold and the flavours were doing a Muhammad Ali on my taste buds. That was the most softest, flavism chargrilled chicken burger I've ever had in Auckland. I'm not even mad about it being $13 because each bite was worth every blimmin' cent. Dont ever change Andy, you maintain that standard of chicken burgers and I will go forth and spread the word far and wide of your magnificent establishment. Godspeed. Oh yeah, and for my drink...I only ordered plain orange juice but thanks for adding vodka.
I saw several contrasting reviews about this restaurant but I will give this one a 4.5 .  First of all, every time we come for a  visit we always receive good service.  I like their chicken nibbles and their burgers were also very good and well-cooked.  I also enjoyed their ribs and steak the last time we visited.  I guess we were the lucky ones!!  I like this place,  it's friendly and a has a relaxed feel environment.
We checked out Andy's burgers located inside SKYCITY for a work lunch. Great spot if you want a quick fix of burgers or chicken wings. Also good selection of beverages too.
I ordered the beef burger  it was really good however the size and portion of the chips was pretty small .I ordered a glass of wine it was pretty cheap.
Andy's is probably one of my favourite burger joints around with great 'daily deals'. The burgers are always great (what you'd expect at a burger joint right?), but even the hotwings are fave.
Dropped in for a burger and beer whilst at a conference in skycity, good location, good American diner style restaurant with plenty of sport. Good sized beers and a friend got some awesome looking ribs. But my cheeseburger was underwhelming... Fantastic Patty but the bread and cheese and sauces just didn't pay it justice...more work to make the burgers world class needed. I'm keen to return for the ribs and try another burger option
I really like coming here for dessert great place to relax after a long day! The deserts are delicious. It's worth the price $12.
Love the caramel my fave bit of the deserts.
Have had their buffet breakfast and it is worth 24.90 fresh food. Their bakery food are delicious too with a variety of breads and sweets. Lots of fresh fruits too.
The best food and the staff are just great. The service tops everything. Each pudding is so good we ordered another round of everything. The best list of bourbon. The bacon mayonnaise is a must have!! The service was flawless and efficient. Also have to mention the glassware....really nice, not just standard boring glasses, nice cut glass etc.

+3.5
We had a fairly cheap feed of $50, but the burgers massive except it tastes little over average. The staff were awesome though! Nevertheless, enjoyable time. âșâș
I went on a Saturday night so it was quite noisy but I guess it comes with the territory. The burgers were average. However the hot wings were delicious, only wish they were way more spicier! Also really liked the sauce that came with the fries. Overall would go back for the wings.
Followed these guys on instagram its what bought me in for lunch last monday.. Was not disapointed: althought busy it was quick, great service from the bar people and the runners, we felt valuable and the server really took good care of my kid, offering coloring books and games :) my mate had the falafel burger, I went for the classic burger extra swiss cheese and my 4 year old for the kids menu which had a lot of different choices, not only burgers and fries! Everything was great and the pattie was medium rare, like really medium rare not "blue" like it seems to be the case these days in other places who say "medium rare" ;) All the sauces (burgers and sides) were absolutly AMAZING and clearly homemade! Plus it was cheap, we paid $50 for the 3 of us, burgers and fries, kids meal and an extra large shoestring fries bowl + extra mayo. The decor is really cool too. We had a great time, I'll definitely be back!
I've been here a couple of times even though the food and service is average. The staff are not attentive as we had to get our own cutlery and when our waitress served our food she just said "burger" "wings" and then left, it didn't seem like she wanted to work at all! I tried the cheeseburger the first time and it was too dry for my liking. The second time I tried the fish burger and it was not good at all. I would only recommend the hot wings and chips at Andy's burger. I will most likely be back here because it's reasonably priced and in a convenient location for me but they need to seriously improve on their customer service!
Popped into Andy's this week for lunch as I had seen it but hadn't been in, the fit out is really cool and has an American dinner feel, it's located in SKYCITY and from the booths you look over the main foyer/entrance which is a bit of excitement. The service was good and the burgers very nice! I had the chicken burger which had lots of flavours especially liked that it had halloumi, oh and the homemade tomato sauce is on point! Recommend paying them a visit.
Cheese burger is my favorite and the peanut butter shake. Ive been here many times and i always enjoy my dining experience. Good Value for the Money
We had the chicken burger and lamb burger, and both were SO good. Seriously. Unfortunately we went during some sort of busy rugby event, which meant that it was loud and crowded, but I can't wait to come back during a normal night to give this place another try.
Came here on a Saturday night and the place was busy and had a great vibe. I also saw on the sign that it was 24/7 so it would be a great place for late night munchies.
While our drinks came promptly (Nutella/banana and peanut butter shakes), our food took over 30 minutes to arrive and we also noticed another table that arrived after us receive their food way earlier so I was a bit disappointed. It was also difficult to get the attention of our waitress as she seemed to be too busy tending to other things to notice.
The lamb burgers were good and the buns were crispy on the outside which I quite enjoyed. The fries that came with it was meh. The soy wings (large size) we got were alright, but could do with more sauce/flavouring. Overall, the food was good but not too special as it was on the pricier side.
But their weekday specials look quite good so I would probably return for those :)
Love the vibe here, really great fit out. Fantastic drinks menu and the way their wine glasses are adorable. Burgers are so so, definitely not the best I've had in Auckland. Service though was very good
I love the vibe that Andy's give off-it's like the perfect late night hangout place. The neon lights, train-style seating and waitresses in blue and white striped uniforms-Walking in made me feel like an American teenager ready to have his burger and fries. I did just that.
All of their burgers are priced around $15-$20 but the price includes shoestring fries which was a fairly good deal. I had the fish burger. The fish was crispy and the bun was very well toasted. Loved the beetroot and the mayo sauce was also very yummy. My friends had the venison burger and also enjoyed it. The only downside for that burger was the strong cumin smell.
We also had the hot-sauce chicken wings and that was on point! Overall I'd definitely visit again to try their other burgers. #zomato #wouldloveallyoucaneat #andy's
My friends and I stayed at Skycity hotel, Andy's burgers & bar is obviously a great convenience. We ordered a falafel burger, a cheeseburger and half kg of hot wings. Awesome food at a reasonable price. Service was good and staff were attentive. We left the restaurant full and satisfied! Now I am back to Melbourne, and I am missing their food :'( We will definitely go back if we visit Auckland again!
It's always hard to find somewhere to go for dinner with a large group leaving Friday night work drinks so we were very happy to discover Andy's. Even though it was pretty busy when we arrived we were able to be seated and quickly ordered burgers. I ordered the lamb burger was really impressed. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful and a little bit pink. All the cheeseburger orderers were equally satisfied with their burgers. Two people in the group opted for kids cheeseburgers which were a good size if you didn't want to be too stuffed. The staff were very friendly and let us colour in while we waited for our burgers. Overall a very tasty evening and I will definitely be going back.
Absolutely delicious and unique tasting food, you really can't be more satisfied than what this place left me feeling.
We ordered a Beef burger which had pickles, beautiful and tangy Jim Beam bourbon sauce, melted cheese and bacon, Spicy Chicken Wings and a Steak fillet which was dressed with a spicy peppery marinade... Super delicious!
The hosts were very friendly and we had a blast with the drinks!
This place is a must-do in your bucket list! Check out the pics!
Courteous attentive staff. Shakes are /were awesome, the boys had nutella & banana shake, - everything we ordered from fish & chips, Jim Beam burger, hot wings, fish burger, steak fries...to cheeseburger..was perfect!! Will be back đ€
One of those places that are good for groups -has the kind of menu that will appease just about everyone. Not sure if it has bunnace though lol. The lamb patty is decent.
Big = value is one misconception people have about food outlets that always irks me, and it irks me when people complain about Andy's because of the size of their burgers (small-ish, but by no means meagre).
Yes, there are bigger burgers out there for the same price, but what Andy's does, it does well. The medium-rare cheeseburger (if you can get over the pinkness of the burgers) was absolutely delicious, it was a food-gasm of molten cheese and beef. The sriracha slaw had just the right balance of creaminess and kick. The milkshake was also one of the best, right up there with the other places that turned milkshakes into a destination. As for the portions, you won't starve after eating at Andy's, but it won't make you so full and bloated you want to lie on your side and start rolling.
I think Andy's is definitely an underrated place, underrated perhaps because of its confusing positioning (is Andy an American BBQ maestro who also plays blues guitar? An kiwi backyard cricket legend who cooks a mean burger? Who is Andy anyway?), perhaps because of the maze you have to go through to even get there (sometimes up the escalator and turn back, sometimes through the casino floor... It's different every time thanks to the perpetual construction at Skycity these days). I don't see it becoming a star attraction like The Depot and Grill, but Andy's definitely has potential to become a reliable venue that never fails to deliver.
The burgers are pretty good and they have quite a bit of choices. If you don't like burgers they have a few other choices. However it is the thickshakes that steal the show for me. There are some amazing choices like caramel popcorn and nutella & banana.
Andy's Burgers & Bar was a great, laid-back spot to enjoy our favourite food - burgers! The atmosphere is very pleasant and the space is quaint, with great, interesting non-alcoholic drink options. This is a big plus, as restaurants often neglect to put any thought into making this part of the menu anything more than generic. We loved the different, interesting milkshake flavours (caramel popcorn - yum!) and sodas on the menu. The food was also really good and flavourful. Service could do with some improvement.
Went there on a Tuesday night to use up a 2 for 1 deal - were told it's only valid if you buy drinks (hadn't been mentioned before).
Anyway, got a lamb and a cheeseburger with shakes. Wanted to try a Nutella shake but were told they were out of certain flavours (ughhh).
Anyway the lamb burger was pretty juicy, I really liked it. Shakes were good too.
Guess you're paying for what you get.
Andy's Burgers is a fantastic place to stop by for a snack or a sandwich before going to the theatre, movies or even to the casino. Sometimes there's good entertainment in the bar itself, offering a good selection of music and different promotions.
The prices are reasonable but that doesn't mean the food is bad, on the opposite, I has pleasantly surprised by the home-like flavours and the taste of the food.
The wings are fantastic, probably some of the best I had in town, real american style wings tossed in sauce with a kick of spice and the patties on the burgers were big enough.
I Â recommended to everyone.
I did have some trouble tracking down this Burger Bar, but after a bit of detective work, found it tucked away upstairs at the casino. It replaces the super dodgy bar that used to be in the corner with the live (if you can call it that) music. So at least the improvement is a million times plus. I would be happy to come back again and it looks really kid friendly as well. They have cleverly seen what works in the market and put it all together in one place. Burgers are essentially the new standard of brioche bun with funky filling. (Burger Burger). The decor has 70s memorabilia on cast iron shelves. (Citizen Kane). The booth seating is nice. (Federal St Deli). The fact we are stuck inside a casino, with construction going on around us didn't help, and the serving team could have a bit of life injected into them, but I can imagine this is the perfect place for a late nite drunken burger feed, and with great tasting burgers and great pricing to match this place will definitely be a hit...
Super impressed with Andy's Burgers & Bar. I was apprehensive at first considering the mixed reviews but it proved to be a wonderful experience. You know you're in for an experience straight off the bat when you walk in- the fit out is a modern take on the traditional 90's style diner not unlike The Fed. I love how the little details are not overlooked, their condiments like mustard (which happens to be calorie free interestingly) is American and I'm not sure where the coke and tomato sauce is from but it definitely does not taste like the usual ones in NZ.Â
Fish Burger- I LOVE this!! The fish itself was deep fried and came with a sprinkling of curry spice which was complemented nicely with a generous helping of watercress on top. Everything worked so well and the portion of fish was quite big, I couldn't pick up my burger without everything falling out (in a good way!).
Ribs- great portion, saucy and tender. The meat fell off the bones easily and your fingers will be sticky after as a good rib experience should be. It comes with sauerkraut and pickles too.
Beef Burger- My partner ordered this and he enjoyed it but being a bit of a burger connoisseur, he felt it didn't live up to other competitors, but loves the Jim Beam burger and the original Cheeseburger
Also, the service here is awesome, the waitress who served us was so kind and friendly- checking up on us to see if we were going okay with everything, and even offering to take a photo of us when she saw me taking pictures on my phone. Our experience here was definitely made awesome thanks to her, and great service is the reason we all want to come back.
Overall, Andy's is a great place for a date with it's buzzing atmosphere and decor. The prices are hard to describe, they're very reasonable/ affordable for SkyCity standards, but on the more expensive side when comparing it to similar gourmet burger bars but they do come with complimentary chips and you'll be satisfied and full after (food looks small in the photos for some reason).
A 24/7 burger bar in the central city that isn't a chain. You can dine at Andy's during the daytime with the entrance from the sky city foyer, but the 24/7 side is entrance though the casino (R20) the late night menu is basic with a couple of burgers to chose from, sides and apple pie for dessert. The buns were soft, the burgers hot and the fries crunchy. Shoestring fries come with the burger, we also ordered a side of steak fries with the bacon Mayo, A+. I think the booth we sat in was the comfiest seat I have ever had in a restaurant. Nice new little spot for late meals, clean, comfy and good service.
First time here tonight! Was quite surprised that it's not as overpriced as everything else in SkyCity!!
The burger meat was cooked to medium rare, tasted fantastic and juicy!! The must get I reckon are the chicken wings! If you're into something spicy then that'll totally be your thing!
I was apprehensive about visiting based on the reviews I had seen but I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks awesome & has a really good vibe, we were greeted promptly & given a few options for tables. The staff & service was excellent we were given menus & our order was taken & served with good time. I had the steak & others I was dining with had ribs, chicken, steak fries & a cheeseburger all of the food was excellent. The portions are large & we left very full. Will defo be back.
Stopped here for a quick dinner after a show on a friend's recommendation. So glad we did!
I had the pork burger (pulled pork, slaw, peanuts, mayo, and a touch of jalapeño). Scrumptious! The pork was tasty, and the slaw and peanuts gave it a great texture. The burger was big enough to satisfy but small and well constructed enough to hold together while eating and not cause a mess. My husband had an equally delicious lamb burger. They have classic beef options on the menu too.
I enjoyed a refreshing orange house soda (unique idea!) although my husband's raspberry and lemon was yummier.
Overall one of the best burgers I've had in ages.
If good burgers are what you're after, stop. It's hammer time. Genuinely blown away by the stock cheeseburger. Steinlager classic is my fav beer, and to have it on tap to wash down this tasty burger, well⊠Accompanied with shoestring fries, green beans and slaw, good feed!
I love burgers as much as the Americans so when I heard this snazzy joint opened, I could not wait to go!
I had the cheese burger and my brother-burger-lover had the ribs
You could definately taste the quality from right from the first bite. The bun was fluffy and moist but the patty is worth the rave. You could taste the quality. A $12.50 well spent!
I will be returning for the nutella and banana shake!
My new favourite burger place! And it's just located in Sky City! I just recently found out it was a 24-7 eatery which is a plus since there aren't a lot of decent food places open in late nights especially during week nights. The burgers were at reasonable prices too and each burger is served with fries! I highly recommend the popcorn milkshake! It's so heavenly! It's not your common flavour but it's definitely my new favourite!
Yes very good. A good burger starts with a good bun, nailed it! Nice chargrill pattie, medium rare and juicy and good char flavor. Simple ingredients great result. Didn't get any fries but did get a side of pickles, good as; glad I said no to the fries!
Had a beer, mate just had water. Good service, nice chick served us - didn't want for anything. All in all I'll return and try all the burgers, fish burger looked great. Plan to take the mrs and experience a midnight burger and punt! Go Andys!! I also think it was a cool touch to have my favorite dangin American mustard on the table - how did they know!!!
I enjoyed my beef burger and loved the condiments. Came on Friday night 10.30pm. Service we had was on point, staff always filled our glasses with water when empty. Next trip to the casino definitely gonna eat here instead of that cafe style place in the casino.
Would highly recommend to others, the burger was good, patty was juicy and fries nice and hot and to me the price was good for what you got. Comparable to other burger joints. Read some of the reviews before eating and was a bit hesitant but thought give it a go and it was great. Good kiwi ingredients, awesome hot sauce, no complaints from me and I have eaten at many places (even though I haven't done many reviews). My husband tried the Orea Milkshake and the peanut butter. He loved it and he swiped his casino card and got 35% off our meal. So all in all we had a great experience and will be regulars.
Andy's is good for a 24 hour experience but they definitely need to work on their service. Some of the service staff were awesome while the girl who seated me forgot all about me and never came to take my order - another wait staff did when they saw me trying to grab their attention. The cheese burger is pretty darn good, the shoe string fries were very average. Mixed bag of experience. Maybe a second visit will improve the experience.
Probably gonna be coming here a lot because everything about it has won me over, starting with the atmosphere. I really like the design of the place, and seeing the warm canary yellow walls and being greeted by friendly staff when walking in was definitely a good and welcoming start.
I came in with a few friends, one of which is vegetarian, and at the end of our meal we all left so full and satisfied with our experience. Our waitress was pretty good with everything and after letting her know about certain dietary requirements she was quick to show us items that were suitable for our table.
I had the lamb burger and shared the hot wings(emphasis on the hot! đ„đ„) pickles and fries and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! I love pickles so seeing that on the menu it was immediately a must have and I was not disappointed at all and the bacon Mayo we got with the fries was really strong on the bacon which I also enjoyed. The lamb burger was absolutely divine and the corn salad that was in it was just perfect I would get that as a side and just eat it non stop. If you go to Andys you simply must get the hot wings, I warn you they are super spicy(for me at least) but so good, although I couldn't finish it at the restaurant I got the rest for takeaway but I probably should've been a lot more careful bc by the time I got home the blue cheese sauce (which is a great ally in going against the spiciness) was all over the t.a box.
But anyways, this place has made a regular out of me and I'm gonna be stopping by a lot to get to the rest of the menu! Next on my list are those ribs âșïž
Been there twice and service has been amazing. Did not have to wait for food that long and speaking of the food. I had the cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious on both occasions. Definitely suggest many to go. The DJ was so kind and allowed me to request a song even.
Webt there around 4pm. It had a good vibe, people chilling, all spread out. Lots of staff walking around checking on meals, personally think there was too much, but then again it is 24hrs, you never know due to the location if a group might pop in. My friend and I were in burger heaven! I had the Fish burger, she had the Lamb one. Wow. I wven left the beetroot on which I never do. It was divine! I got a pretzel milkshake- presentation was great and the taste was nom nom! Fries on the small side - its like a McDonalds small. But it was yum! Def will be back again.
A tasty, juicy, fresh and well priced cheeseburger. No kidding this was probably the best hamburger I had in New Zealand. The atmosphere is great and staff very friendly.
I love how people just come on here to complain and bag restaurants. If you're from hospitality like I am. Then you should be able to understand that sometimes things go wrong. Crap hits the fan, newish restaurant. Busy day and understaffed, these things can happen to any restaurant. I came in the same day with my partner and it was busy, but were greeted kindly and seated immediately with menus and water by a lady with a good sense of humour, she let us know that there would be a wait on food. 20-30 minutes due to the fact that most people have a arrived at the same time. This is NORMAL in a busy restaurant whether it's burgers or not. We were fine with it. Our drinks got to us we had small talk with our waitress whom I assumed was manager that day and she went and explained to the tables around us what the deal is, at least people weren't left sitting wondering where there food is right? we had a BRILLIANT experience. Yes food took its time and drinks took a few minutes. But hey this was explained to us when we sat down. We were very happy with the experience and will be back. The staff were lovely and food was good.
All I can say is Maybe they just need some more staff on now that it's getting busier.
The best, freshest burgers in town! You just can not go wrong with Andys. Staff is legendary and beers are cool as! Wings, ribs and steak are delicious to. Fish burger is my personal favourite tho.
Me and my partner have been here twice over the Christmas holiday's and the reason why is the hot wing's. Best butter milk fried chicken I have tasted.. Hot sauce is too hot too handle tho, but you can ask for them too leave it on the side. Rib's are good and so is the steak.. good job on that one sky city.
Went there on the Opening day. Burgers were nice but try Chicken wings only if you can handle the heat. Told the waitress to have 'em without spicy sauce but they still came full on spicy, so not very happy about it. On the other hand, bar boys were spot on and more helpful. Quite liked their beer & milkshake selection.
Worth a try!
My husband and i went here for our anniversary lunch and found out we were their very first customer's which we both thought was very exciting! The food was brilliant nice big portions and excellent quality ingredients we loved their bacon mayo with steak fries and would both recommend the cheeseburger! We don't live in the city but when we come back we will be sure to go back to Andy's!
Went here for my son's birthday. Ordering via QR code was great. Food came out in a considerable amount of time delivered by Bella the robot food attendant. Fun way to do food service but also good to have a little person to person interaction especially if you are a first timer at this place. Food was good. Parking was a bit dear.
Nice cosy, restaurant with good seating. Lots of tvs to enjoy sports games from multiple angles. The whole atmosphere was really vibe and the food was delicious đ. But best part of all is being served by ai robots. Nothing beats a robot bringing you a burger.
Real tasty beef burger and sides. Mac and cheese was a bit sickly (for me) but maybe others would enjoy. The serving robots were pretty entertaining. Cool to see kids faces light up when their meals were brought over by them. Definitely more expensive than other burger places Iâve been but itâs alright.
My only complaint is the buns on the burger and my wife agreed too. They almost seemed stale. But the contents of the burger were beautiful. Excellent patty and cheddar with that salty smokey kick to it that I love. Not bad all round.
It was busy Easter Sunday packed with diners inside and long line outside. Was not a long wait considering there were so many orders in the kitchen. The robot server made the service faster. The signature burger tastes really good and fries were fresh and crispy . Would not recommend the chicken it was tasteless.
Good portions and atmosphere. The spicy chicken burger was actually spicy.
Was a bit disappointed when the QR code on our table wasnât working so we had to place our order at the bar but we loved our waiter who brought our food to us.
Went here 2nd December 2022, 6.30pm. Had the Nachos, they were 10/10. Went here again, idk if the nachos are gone cuz i checked the menu and it wasnt there.
Always a delight to eat at and so many onto it staff. Quick service and food always hot. Hot wings and small salad are my jam! Hubby loves the burgers and fries. Tip: order the truffle mayo even though it's not on the menu. It will transform your fries and be the best $2 spent on a condiment. You're welcome!
The atmosphere is great as it is inside the iconic Sky Tower of Auckland. If you're seated in the far end, you will have a view of the tower itself. The kids love the robot servers which served us the burgers, chips, and wings - all of which are great!
Robot service was entertaining, but enjoyed still having wait staff.
Food was delicious, staff are friendly. I absolutely loved the spicy chicken burger and my partner really enjoyed his classic burger
Speedy service coupled with tasty food and cocktails. This place would be excellent for watching sport games as it is surrounded with TV screens and a big projector screen. Staff is very friendly and efficient and the food was delivered at a speedy pace. Best of all, it is a very good value for the the money we paid. Would definitely want to try the sâmores next time I am here.

Burgers were great! Robot kitty-servers (and their huma counterparts) were equally efficient and charming! I love the care and quality each person had throughout our meal! Can't wait to come back.
Food was good. Burger was great, but the coleslaw not up to the same standard. Attended during a ânot so busyâ time, so food was quick. The robots delivering food was a novelty, but didnât really add much to the atmosphere.

I waited around 8 minutes to some waiter or waitress to come to my table. The restaurant wasn't full at the moment, but clearly it was an unexpected scenario.
The price of the menu is very reasonable and fair when you realize that the restaurant is inside the sky tower.
I tried the vegetarian burger, which it really impressed me a lot. I know how to cook and prepare fancy burgers and the vegetarian from Andy's was amazingly beautiful.
I took a picture of the melted cheese merged with the mushrooms, the flavours are very tasty.
The salad was ok, since it was just a small salad to supply the main meal, which comes already with fries if it is any of the Burges.
But what made me rate this a 5/5 is because of the service. Even waiting to be attended, the staff treat with a high quality and, especially, provided me with a Negroni. This cocktail is not in the menu and when I asked, they prepared it for me charging with the same price of any other gin cocktail.
A restaurant that can manage a request beyond its menu options is for sure 5/5 star rate. This proves that they know how to deliver an unique service for their costumers.
it's back and it's back with a BANG! definitely something worth craving for the meat of these burgers are just crazy delicious it's the party that stands out just like how burgers are supposed to be not covered in sauce or buns love the normal cheese burgers but the tower burger is an instagrammable experience I don't wana miss the onion rings are fantastic battered just right pair them with a quench beer and baby you sealed the deal
A sports burger bar with robot waiters. We popped in on a Saturday night with a group of 6 with no booking (I know, mortifying), but we were squeezed into a table. You order food here using a QR code and it is then brought to you by a robot. The food is reasonably good. However, the kitchen got a couple things on our order wrong and I canât really recommend anything beyond their burgers. Worth trying out at least once for the novelty, but Iâm not sure if it can top other burger bars in the city.
You have to order the right thing here. I'm not a massive fan of the beef burgers or the Korean wings. But the Korean chicken burger was amazing. There is also an aloe cocktail which was real minty and not too sweet. Service was good.
