A favourite bar of mine. it does excellent deals during the week such as $4 beers and chips on Thursday and the chips are great and on Wednesday steak and 3 beers for $20. The staff are all great and there is a nice atmosphere lively but not blaring music so loud you can't have a conversation. it also shows all major sport as well. 1 of the best bars in CBD.

Usually pretty busy after work. Drinks for happy hour are reasonably priced and bar food is pretty good too (pepperoni pizza!) You'll have to hunt down seats or get in early if you want to sit though

Great no frills bar with good atmosphere and decent pub food. Heinekens are $4 a bottle, which is ludicrously cheap for Auckland, and worth the trip if only for that. Has a smoking/outdoor deck, and plenty of room inside including bar learners or tables. Have daily specials on food and drinks so check their Facebook to see the deal of the day

One of the most affordable bars in Auckland. It's a little difficult to locate as you have to walk through the doorway and up some stairs. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and at $5 a bottle you can't go wrong!

I mean come on $5 beers in Auckland City. Some nights its standing room only after work. Great place to get your six o'clock swill on before holding onto pee for the long bus ride home

Excellent pub for catching-up with colleges after work. Lowest beer prices in central Auckland! Plenty of space, many corners available to hide from the crowds. But it can be extremely crowded and loud!

A great place to start your night. Especially when the Heinekens are on the cheap! Sports on the TV's and plenty of standing and sitting room to socialise. Gets quite busy early, but it's a wonderful place to meet after work for a couple of drinks. Well played Spitting Feathers.

Only place in Auckland with a good selection of English Ales making it a great place for a decent beer at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly. The food is pretty average though.

great place for a few casual drinks. Staff are friendly and their Friday lunch specials are affordable.. is it bad that staff now know us by drink order :p

Cheap and cheerful. Music is always great. The downside is the music is sometimes really low, however it's a great little place which sells English beer like Tetleys.

It's a good basic bar with a range of English beers plus the ones we all know and cherish

Located on d first floor. This place has a nice and cozy feel to it. Music is turned down so if u wish to have a conversation with ur drinks, this is a nice inexpensive option to drink.

Had a heart and belly filling roast pork with amazing cracking and homemade Yorkshire puddings. Amazing options on tap and a unique set up that works well for the atmosphere

Open planned second storey bar which offers fabulously cheap dining options with an alcohol beverage. Come on a Wednesday and get two wines and a steak with fries for $20!

Can never got wrong with this classic bar in the heart of Auckland CBD. Famous for $5 a Heineken as standard and $4 Heinekens on Thirsty Thursday
