Staff were awesome and energetic 💕 love being in the environment whilst having a nice plate of desserts that were gone within a few minutes!!!
A really nice ice cream parlor to go chill with friends. Easy to locate if you are close to the wharf. I just wanted to try the hokey pokey, as it seemed to be the crowd favourite, and it did not disappoint. Nice seating area, good music and friendly staff. Had a great time.
Really nice ambiance and service was good too. The icecream was really tasty and macaron was so delicious. Mint chip icecream was my favourite.
Met up with some friends near the Viaduct and normally I would pass this place as I thought it would be touristy. It’s located close to the ferry building and there’s also Downtown carpark just across.
Dayun and Angelica helped serve me today who were both a delight. We wanted to try the ice cream macaron and so we tried the peanut butter, boysenberry, and chocolate flavours that were to die for.
best new zealand natural shop in Auckland. Lage sand space for child to play, also provide board games for adults. So many choices of ice cream. Looks nice and taste yum
First time to try this place. Great location and friendly staff. They offer a variety of baked goodness including cronuts. The New Zealand Natural ice creams was true to its flavour, simple and refreshing. The cronuts and croissants were ok.
Saw it all over Instagram, had to give it a go. Was really nice but was a bit messy to eat. Could have used a better wrap/container for the ice cream donuts. Overall was delicious though and a good summer treat! #newbalance997xconcepts
Unlike other icecream places that have limited seats and you end up eating icecream outside in a cold winter night, this place has a really spacious area for customers to enjoy their icecream.
I got mango sorbet in a waffle cone. Was a bit gutted that I didn’t notice they have icecream macaron (always wanted to have an icecream macaron)
❤️: mango sorbet was very refreshing and not too sweet. Cone was very crunchy. And the staff gave us a taster before we made our decision!
😑: the sorbet wasn’t soft enough (perhaps the fridge was too cold and kinda make the sorbet form lumps)
Next time I have to come back for icecream macaron and try the rainbow flavour also 😤

had ice-cream macaroon the flavour was chocolate coconut. the staff was super friendly and nice and kind enough to let us try icecream flavour before we choose! decorated macaroon was $5 and it is definitely worth it!!!! Can't wait to try other flavour for next visit :)
Nice location, very helpful and friendly staff along with awesome ice creams so what more can I ask for right?
All sorts of flavours but that ice cream taco is to die for

MACADAMIA SUPREME has been my favourite ice cream flavour for soooo long!! The reason i love this is because their one contains macadamia nuts with macadamia ice creams which enriches the taste of macadamia!! Unlike other places I've tried, others uses vanilla ice cream + macadamia nut which is not as nice as the one they have in NZ natural!!
Meh. Average ice cream but good service :) but if I'm being honest,i've had better ice creams x) good effort though. Decent prices for what it was
I have never disliked any of their flavours. You can never go wrong with ice cream. The donut cup was fresh and soft and is a must try! Happy eating.
Im an advocate for french macarons and people had hyped about this way too long so i had to check it out.
It was delicious apart from the cold macaron shells and the shells itself being a tad too chewy. Ice cream wise, it was typical nz natural so always nice! Berry sorbet, green tea and dark chocolate was what i got.
But i would still visit this place again and try new flavour combinations. I would also recommend if possible, make the macaron shell itself have different flavours. It would have more appeal. And give recommendations for the mix and match flavours that would suit shell and ice cream!
Second time here, got their famous ice cream taco!
I got the flavours Caramel Chocolate Crunch, English Toffee and Green Tea.
But before I dive into that, i just wanted to say that the lady who served me was really lovely, bright smile, made me feel a lot more welcome than the last time I was here. When my taco was ready she asked if I wanted sauce, which I really appreciated (she has a really nice accent!) Excellent service from her!
Caramel chocolate and English toffee were heavenly; albeit the green tea one was a lot more on the minty side than I expected. If I picked to have green tea with other flavour combinations it might've tasted better, but that's partially my problem.
The taco shell was so good! The chocolate and nut toppings made it that much better.

this site usta be da visitor center, came in for dessert after eating at burger boy just across the road, they do macaron and burger ice creme as well as coffees. And boring old me just had a orange cone cookie dough ice creme there which i dislike, may try other eats later next time i 'm in area..
After lunch at nearby Euro (with its special Bluff deal every year in March - recommended to everyone for lunch), we passed by Melt and had a 2-scooped ice-cream cup. Both chocolate/coconut & rum/raisins were amazingly good. Comparing with Valentino close-by, Melt's 3.5 rating is well-deserved.
Been there twice in one weekend- really enjoyed it both times. I'm not really an ice cream lover, but I had ice cream lovers with me and they all loved it. I really enjoyed the salted caramel and pistachio, it was amazing...no complaints.
Mmmmm.... I wasn't as blown away as I thought I would have been!
Ice cream in a burger still seems a bit odd to me. Like a savoury and sweet combination that don't go well together. I thought the buns would have been more 'desserty' rather than actual burger buns (e.g. a bit like the sweet bread you get with a Berliner or Kitchener bun).
They weren't bad, but I think I would prefer to just get ice cream next time. Or maybe try the macaroons, which are at least sweet!
▪️New PopUp
▪️Great vibe
▪️Good menu
A cute new ice cream parlour that's just opened up on Quay Street! They have such a delicious dessert menu from Ice Cream burgers to French macaroons to MELT shakes and fun Flavours. I tried out the English Toffee and I loved it!! More than the dessert though, what caught my eye was the setting and vibe of the place. A cool waterfront space with a really summery feel with bean bags and games and plenty of seating space. This place is gonna be a new summer favourite for me!
Living at the wharf has its perks…one of them is two ice crème joints at walking distance. Was aimlessly roaming around last week when I saw this and went inside.
Couldn’t decide which was better – chocolate ecstasy or the caramel flavour and decided to have both. Two thumbs up for the place, the flavours and the set up (board games) and who doesn’t like ice crème. Cannot wait to try the buns and the macaroons next time!
Believe it is little too big for a ice cream shop. Waste lots of space. Like the environment of the shop, especially with the drawing on the window glass. Very creative. Love the owner's ideas of Ice Cream burger. Tastes little bit funny, but love the idea. Staff are nice and friendly. Even better with a coffee cup not just in take away cup. Prefer take away cups not just plain black, not match the style of the shop. Some games on each tables for people to play with, great idea. Overall, ice cream taste is ok, but love the new concept of the shop.
Really great environment to chill and have a good catchup with friends whilst eating ice cream 😅. Had the 3 for $10 ice cream macarons and I thought they complimented the 3 flavours I chose, it can get a bit messy to eat with just using your hands but there are spoons available next to the counter. Overall, staff were friendly, prices are decent and the ambience is relaxing. Will surely comeback and try the ice cream burger! Ps. Loved the beanbag seats 😊 ZomatoStudents
Where To Next Auckland
+3.5
Handy location right on the edge of the viaduct! It's in a perfect spot for you to grab a sweet treat after walking around in the sun. Their ice cream burgers filled with beautiful ice cream and amazing berry sauces are drool worthy! We'd definitely go back again!
The best ice cream burgers and macarons ice cream sandwiches. Absolutely loved it. Would recommend trying the ice cream burger its the perfect dessert.
Summer is here in Auckland, ice cream is an essential item to fight with high temperatures. I spent $11.50 for a ice cream burger with Green tea flavor and Frozen Yogurt flavor. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Passed by the place a few times and finally got to try it today. Love the place. Cozy and interesting set up. Gives a really nice feel to it and since its summer, ice cream is a thing for everyone
Staff were attentive but when it gets slightly busier, it does seemed a little bit out of control however still managing it well.
Service 6/10 :)
Heard it is famous for the ice cream burger but didn't get to give it a try. Tried the macaroons ice cream. It was 3 for $10 and it think it is worth getting macaroons ice cream. Don't be fooled just because macaroons aren't that filling but it is if u have 3 macaroons with ice creams hahah. Macaroons weren't as great but it does taste well together with the ice cream.
Tried all 3 flavours of ice cream : green tea , salted caramel and affogato.
In my opinion affogato is the best out of the three so I recommend you guys to try it. Salted caramel comes second and green tea last. Green tea didn't taste like green tea. Something about the flavour , it tastes a bit off. However that's my opinion.
Nevertheless , give it a try. I mean, who doesn't love ice cream? 😁
Nice ice cream from nz natural as always, but the macaron + ice cream combo did not come across as unique. I also think it only works well on some types of ice cream combinations and not all.
I like my ice cream in moderation, so the serving size was definitely too much for me. However, I think the serving size to most people will be just nice.
I made the mistake of ordering 3 macaron ice creams when one should've been enough (they look kinda small in the photos, but it's not really).
Flavour wise, I didn't enjoy the green tea and affogato as much as I thought I would. The flavours came through quite strongly, and I prefer it to be neutralised a little more with the cream and sugar (which it didn't). I did enjoy the caramel chocolate and white chocolate raspberry flavours though.
I still want to try the ice cream bun combo, so will def be back for that.
Just had to b the first to review haha - first day of open Friday 3 Feb 2017 & they are giving away free ice cream burgers, delicious as always New Zealand Natural Ice Cream in a brioche bun with a choice of 4 different sauces but I gave a miss to them as non are sugar free - something different, cool 70's interior - I think this will be a hit in this area - will done.
Great location for a nice dessert and stroll around the wharfs. Plentiful selection of ice creams and sorbets. They also make shakes and other treats. The honey pokey ice cream brought back nice childhood memories. The staff were very nice and helped me decide with a sampler.
Yummy Ice creams there. Nice varieties . Tasty Flavours .
A good place to have a rest and ice-cream after the walk from Silo Park to the wharf. Lovely atmosphere and setting. We visited at 1:30pm on Sunday but only two staffs working in the shop. A long queue waiting to be serve.
The chocolate ice cream was good and delicious, and the service was perfect and The moroccan-french guy gave me a good recommendation, probably i will visit one more time before i leave NZ
The ice cream dessert with a selection of pastry plus ice cream was really nice. It looked heavenly. I especially liked my order which was espresso ice cream with coffee cake. My partner had the mango cheesecake with passion fruit ice cream. We both love the passion fruit ice cream but was not really into the cheesecake. The base was a little bit too frozen to be broken.
Staff were all friendly and nice.
Great icecream, with a good selection of flavours.
Reasonable prices, especially for icecream in the city. You can also get a tasting before you decide. Seems pretty popular on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Great location. They offered me free chocolate dipping which tasted amazing! I wanted to wash my hands after having their delicious ice cream but there was no bathroom in this store.
Great service
Great ice cream
Only downfall wasn’t a huge choice but highly recommend
Nice place with a lot of options. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take a photo of my 2 scoops ice cream ($7,90) because it was so delicious.
The shake was great tasting but was less icecream and more milk than I would have wanted. It ended up being really thin.
The straw was also made it paper, so it was deteriorating quite quickly and becoming soft and mushy. I would have preferred even knew I'd the disposable bamboo straws.
Overall it was okay, but probably wouldn't return here over other options.
ice cream was so yum and the customer service was 10/10, will definitely going back. The 2 girls working were so lovely and efficient!!!
Lots of ice cream options: cones, ice cream sandwiches, floats, tea with icecream, etc. Good, patient service. Great atmosphere, with many games for kids and adults.
