Kids friendly place , always love their sushi
Must try waygu, snow crab and blue fin tuna Otoro, yum
Good sushi place for a quick bite. The taste was fine but I personally think the price may be too high compare to its quality. There are a lot of menus available to order.
Good place to eat for a quick bite , I visit quite Often. Can not see anything you Like on the conveyer then refer to the menu and ask staff . take note this is not your usual sushi place, if on a budget take note : 2 people average $30-$60 depending dishes and drinks. Allow the chance to give it a try and the experience of the sushi going around, it’s fun...
Pleasantly surprised by Sushi trains’ nigiri 🍣 offering today! Blue fin toro nigiri for $5.5 a piece, legit fatty tuna🤩It’s such a steal IMO, but on limited offering. The table next to us weren’t able to order it cause it was sold out. It’s probably the best value toro I’ve had in Auckland, Cocoro & Masu serves these at more than double the price💸
.
➡️Next up is “Buri toro” fatty yellowtail belly. There were two plates of these on the sushi belt and we took both🤫they are really fatty, melts in your mouth, super good value at $7.5 for a pair 👀see photos for reference, photos tell the best story 😜 These are not always available at Sushi Train, so get them when you see them 🤤
.
💲Price $5.5 • $7.5
😋Taste 4.6/5 (sushi rice was subpar, but can be overlooked for the price)
📍Viaduct
Rating 3.5. Pretty standard looking sushi train, they were busy so service was bit patchy. A good variety on the train, quality in general were good, chunky octopus pieces in the takoyaki, and the sashimi were decent thick slices. The tuna nigiri had a bit too much sour cream for my liking, but otherwise good solid outing.
This is my favourite spot for a quick sushi bite.
Situated by Viaduct, which is slightly easier to find a street parking compared to the rest of CBD. And you can go for a walk among the Harbour after a full tummy.
Sushi Train offers a great variety of dishes including Japanese nibbles, sushi, sashimi, desserts and even hot meals. Their sushi are prepared from the open kitchen, placed onto the rotating conveyor belt moving past every table. You can also order directly from the menu and the chef will prepare your order on the spot.
Being a frequent customer here, the service and quality of food has never let me down. You are always greeted warmly by the waitresses plus a friendly atmosphere from the kitchen. The place is consistently busy, so you are always guaranteed on freshly prepared food.
Different coloured plates are priced differently, counted by the waitress at the end of the meal. Their dishes are priced pretty reasonably. They occasionally have specials as well, so watch their space.

Really craving for sushi, and found this place. I like to sushi the sushi in train, they have very fresh sashimi, and also various sushi which i can’t resist to take more and more. Love it.
The service here is always lovely and the atmosphere is so cute and the foods delicious. I like to go for the 'chicken & avocado roll' usually. I like how if the sushi you want isn't on the conveyer then you can ask them to make it for you. They have lots of sushi and sides to choose from and it tastes soooo good. The price is fairly good too :) Definitely recommend.
Have been here a few times and the sushi was so good, the price range is really good if you don’t wanna spend too much on lunch, the portions are quite filling as well, service is so great and not too much of a mish from britomart.
My favorite sushi in AKL. Have been here for lots of times. Acceptable price which is around 55 for two. Very local taste. Staff are all Japanese and they always wear smiles. Nice food and nice service. Just hard to find a car park.
It’s the place where I go at least once or twice a week. Very friendly staff and always fresh sushi.
I love the vibe inside, it is casual, feels extremely comfortable and the prices are cheap.
For 1 person is around NZ $15-$20
Music can be good and it’s always a big range of dishes on the display.
came here for lunch today with a colleague , both ordered the Ramen Wafu. Absolutely yummy. Sushi was delish, good variety. just needs more options on the purple plates. but will definitely return
Very nice ambience and great service. The sushi is well made and fresh. They have a wide range of choices of sushi and they're all very flavourful. My favourite is the volcano, I get it every time!
I've been regularly eating here for six years. The Sushi is first class, the service is faultless and the premises are spotless. I thoroughly recommend the Sushi Train.
I arrived at 2pm so the lunch rush was well and truly over. Whilst this train tends to be more expensive than the courthouse lane outlet, these guys serve beer at lunch (which the other stopped owing to the licence holder not being present until later in the day) so they get my patronage! Beer really is the way to a person's heart (and wallet).
The restaurant is well presented and the train is a decent length. Prices are consistent with the quality of the sushi and the wait staff are attentive without being over the top. Great range both on the train and the menu and they are only too happy to make items fresh to order.
Food = tick. Beer = tick. Get down there and get into it!
Such a lovely place and great concept. Sushi comes in a train and we can select any sushi of our wish. We tried some dishes and it was tasty. I must say the staffs are too polite and friendly. Must recommend this place for a whole new experience.
Kudos team.
Staff are very helpful and attentive. Would recommend going around 12:30ish pm as thats when all the good sushi is being served. The spicy prawn nigiri is my favourite thing ever, so packed with flavour.
Very tasty and fresh with a range of fresh sushi and nigris either made to order or coming off the train! We visited at 9pm for a late dinner but there was still quite a variety left available. We can also see the chef constantly making new nigri which was exciting and promising for our empty tummies! We tried an assortment of fish dishes and surprisingly a lot of their eel dishes are very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the eel and egg combo as well as some of the combination rolls which were pleasant both aesthetically and flavour-wise! It's definitely more expensive than the Chancery branch but I guess $20 for dinner is not bad at all!
Very nice for lunch. Great idea for people with differing tastes. Would have been nice to have more attention/service from waitress as it did take a while for her to come throughout lunch to take individual orders on top of what we got from the conveyor.
Best sushi train I’ve been to so far, love their grilled cheese chicken, so full of flavors, everything I tried tasted awesome and fresh. Besides the food, their staff were all friendly and welcoming, they also have a good atmosphere and clean environment. Would definitely come visit again.
Came here yesterday mainly for their $3.50 udon special. The waitresses and chefs were all welcoming- definitely a more welcoming vibe than the Chancery branch. The scallops were so good and fresh! However, some of the sushis had too much sauce for my liking.
Love the options and the variety of sushi they have available. It would be more beneficial to them if they offered more of the menu variety on the train belt as I’m sure there are some who are tempted to eat once viewing the dishes. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food and asahi. Would definitely dine in again.
My home! Haha. Honestly, the best sushi I’ve had in New Zealand. Fresh and prepared to order if you wish. They always seem to check the food that has been on the belt which makes me feel more assured of the quality.
Staff are very friendly and always remember and quote my last order when I arrive.
Wouldn’t go to try another sushi train. The best one is right here :)
All this time I've only been to the Chancery one, so finally got the chance to try this Viaduct one. Sadly I did not realise that the plates here actually have different prices, and some I would have to say are quite a markup in comparison to the Chancery branch. The $7.50 plates however are definitely worth it, the most amazing scallops on the plate! I enjoy everything so much as usual, not even realising some of my favourites are $5.50 instead of the normal $3.50... but overall a lovely experience as the staff are terrific, Chancery could learn a bit from them.
It was a good experience and fun to see there is a sushi go round in Auckland central. The food is very nicely prepared and displayed. The food is also very delicious and comes in decent portions. The staff is very welcoming too and great in spirit. I'd say down side might just be that it is a bit pricey. But other than that it is a nice place to visit.
Nice sushi. Best salmon teriyaki I've had in a while. Will be going back very soon with the family. Would recommend to friends for sure!!!!!!
Really lovely and fresh. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were seated really quickly and were asked if we'd like drinks straight away. There's a big variety of different seafood sushi and sashimi which is great however the only one small thing was there wasn't a huge amount of non-seafood options. What I did have was so tasty though. Great value for money too.
Always love these sushi-go-round places as you get to try bits of everything. Came here recently when they had the all plates $3 special. Regardless of being busy they still had really good service and you can order directly from the chef if something you want isn't on the conveyor belt. My favorites would definitely be the aburi grilled scallop and grilled prawn sushi, they were grilled just right and the cheese and mayo on top complement the seafood nicely. As for nigiri, whelk and eel sushi are nice. This place also have really nice takoyaki with generous amounts of octopus pieces inside with nicely made batter. However if there's one thing I do not recommend it would be the volcano rolls. They are pricey for what they are (mainly rice) and really have no wow factor. There aren't many nice sushi joints in Auckland so if you're craving for different varieties of sushis definitely pay this place a visit :)
Best sushi around ,great service, great selection ! We come here often worth the trip good for kids there's plenty of seating but can get busy during lunch, friendly staff
Despite it being the same concept of the american franchise yosushi! this brand is much better in terms of quality and freshness of the fish and variety on the conveyor belt. Their rice is perfectly cooked and fish was so fresh plus they do terayaki chicken sushi ( in other countries they rarely do chicken sushi).
The staff are all japanese and upon entering greeted in japanese. Lovely hospitality. Prices range from $3 to $7.50. If you arent keen on the sushi belt items then there's also a menu you can select from. Can be quite pricey depending on how many dishes you choose as you can tend to get carried away! In comparison to st pierres sushi, it is considered pricey but of course you cant compare quality with the price tag.
My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our 2 years of being together. Yummy fresh sushi, friendly service, and an overall comfortable environment.
The service and setting were fine, and the quality of sushi was similar to its chancery sister outlet. I particularly liked the eel nigiri which was sweet and tender. However I felt this outlet lacked the variety of the other one and many of my favourites from the other branch were missing here
I recently had this and it was amazing. Everything was the perfect. The food, staff, decor, atmosphere and everything in general. It was so good! I loved it! The sushi was freshly made and the staff were really kind. I definitely recommend this place to EVERYONE! It's especially good for lunch on a sunny day.
Went here for dinner last night. The food was yummy but when I asked for some fresh plates (because they had none on the train) these were simple delicious. Definitely amazing when fresh. Prices weren't bad and would definitely come back again. only thing I noticed was that there wasn't a massive amount of seating and saw that there was a que waiting for seats.
Had such a lovely time at sushi train today. First time going to this place and it won't be my last. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and on to it! The food looked fresh and well presented the price was pretty good too, 88 bucks I paid for me and mum which wasn't bad. We had about 19 plates but the dishes goes on what colour plate you pick. They start from $3.00-$7.50. Overall I'd recommend the sushi train to any one and every one! Who wants to feel like they are in Japan! 🎌🇯🇵 🍙🍘🗾
Took my grandma here for her 85th birthday and it was a total delight! Planted right behind the vidaduct harbor block of restaurants you will find this unique and quaint eatery. The service is very warm and extremely accommodating ☀️. The menu is extensive and even if you don't like sushi you will find something for you! Vegan, paleo, carnivore and gluten free - any dietary requirements can be catered for here! The fish is fresh, the meat is well cooked and the flavor is westerly-Japanese 🍣. Last but not least, it's so much fun! Watching the sushi go around and around is really entertaining and suitable for all ages 😉.
Sushi train visit!
I really enjoyed my time here consuming a lot of sushi dishes! This would probably be one of better places I've ever had sushi ~ the chefs here make sushi fresh right in front of you, you can even request sushi from a menu.
they do have a variety of meats to choose from, definitely the widest selection of things to order off the menu. I really enjoyed all my salmon dishes here, fresh and nicely fatty. The rice here was well done too! Just the perfect about of meat to rice ratio!
It does get very busy, we luckily got seated. The staff are friendly and attentive. I also tried the green tea cola, and it's nice. . In my opinion it just tastes like cola haha.
If you're in the area and craving some good sushi, definitely hit this place up!
I'm in love with this place.💕 Me and fam had no intention to eat here nor did I have any expectation of this place whatsoever. We happened to pass by here after eating pizza plus I was feeling a bit annoyed earlier so I wasn't really excited. We came around 1pm and the place was packed. There was a family waiting to be seated before us. We entered the place and were immediately greeted by a bubbly waitress called "Kayako" (I think) and were told waiting time would be 20 minutes. Instead, we ended up waiting 10 minutes earlier and were given the list of all the sushi/udons while we waited as well. I think we were somehow convinced to wait there even though we had other plans. I've always liked the idea of sushi trains because it's interactive and creates a more fun way of choosing what to order. They also happen to have a winter special where mini udons cost $3.50 instead of $5.50 which is really worth checking out.
We ended up ordering 3 mini udons(Karaage and Tempura), $1 tea pp, and yummy sushi+small cupped desserts. The price of their tea were pretty affordable plus it's really good in cleansing the digestive system.
Mini udons: I was told the mini udons were apparently delicious. They're not actually that small, maybe almost half the size of a normal udon bowl. The noodles were apparently nice, soft, and tasty. Each bowl actually had a decent amount of noodles.
Sushi: Man I really couldn't get over the grilled salmon+torched cream cheese on top sushi. I only had 1 and it tasted the absolute best out of all the sushi I've ever had. It just melted pure deliciousness in my palate. I'm not complaining even though it was a bit pricey for $5.50 a plate with 2 pieces cause it really tasted amazing. You really get your money's worth. The flavours just burst in my palate. It was sensational. I felt really extremely happy. I could eat it everyday without getting sick of it. -->Rating: 100/5
***2x salmon with mayonnaise and springed onion+sliced purple onion on top sushi for $4.50. The salmon tasted fresh. The onions really complemented the salmon. It tasted divine. I'm not too sure about the mayonnaise cause it's not very healthy. --> Rating: 4.5/5
***3x mini salmon+avocado+cream cheese with sesame seeds sushi for $4.00 which originally has 6 pieces. Anything with sesame seeds is super yummy for me. It upgraded the overall taste of the sushi immensely. Avocado always goes well with salmon and rice. --> Rating: 4/5
Sushi overall: All the sushi seem to be freshly made by the sushi chefs there. They really put a lot of passion into their work. The size of each sushi per plate is pretty reasonable. Even the cheaper sushi tastes great and doesn't lack flavour. It still tastes nice. Although, if you really want to experience authentic Japanese cuisine then try the orange and green coloured plates. They are slightly pricier than usual but taste SUPER delicious. You won't regret it. I really craved eating more sushi cause it all tasted amazing but felt full a few sushis later. I suggest sharing the sushi and eating only 1 piece of sushi per plate so you don't get filled up easily. You also get a chance to try more types of sushi as well. Although, if you happen to really like the 1 you ate then eat another one of the same kind. --> Overall sushi rating: 4.5/5
Small cupped desserts: I had the mousse with chocolate on top for $4.50 which was fine but not the best. It was bit too small. I still liked it though since it wasn't too sweet for me. It had one layer with cream and another with a coffee flavoured layer I think. It was okay but was a bit too runny and creamy for my liking. The sushi beats it all the way. --> Rating: 3.5/5
The price you pay in total is determined by the colour of your plate. In total, we only payed around $50 which was pretty cheap for 5 people since it included mini udons+tea+many delicious sushi+small cupped desserts.
The only critique I will give is adding variety to their sushi since some seem repetitive. I also suggest they expand the seating as well since I think they only had roughly 8 tables plus a few seats.
Service was quick and efficient. It's really cool how they greet new customers coming in by shouting "irasshaimase" all together. I really felt like I was in Japan. The interior was so artistic yet so simple. It's pretty well designed. They have cute soy sauce pumps too. There's also blackboard+chalk available on the other side of the restaurant for kids. They really accommodate the needs of their customers well since there were some families there with their children.
Sushi trains are so unique since they make ordering more fun. You get to try different sushi with surprising flavours making it more interesting. Ambience was great and chilled since the music playing didn't sound too loud cause they had nice speakers. I really saw how communicative staff were to each other showing solid teamwork. Now this is a place I'd love to go back to. Everyone's really friendly and welcoming. It's rated A as well and the toilets are super clean so 10/10 for hygiene.
I will never regret coming here at all. I highly recommend this place if you're interested in Japanese culture/food. I'll be coming back here a lot once I've saved up a lot of money.
Awesome food and incredible variety. Would definitely be coming back here. Salmon volcano sushi is the best by a long shot as well as a lot of the snack like stuff.
I've been a few times and think the food is great, have found the cost fine when split between you. It allows for split bills. Don't go on a Monday though! Food is less fresh and not made frequently. Love the fried chicken and their sushi.
Awesome sushi spot in a great location. Everyone loves a sushi train, including us unqualified amateur diners. It was packed with people, and more waiting to get in :-) The selection was overwhelming with so many variations, the salmon volcano being a particular favourite! Can suddenly become expensive though, as you take dishes without any real idea of the cost, so I ended up paying more than I expected... One downside was being served a glass of water in a plastic cup with lipstick on the lip, come on guys, follow the lead of your neighbour Mojo and do it right with a complimentary bottle of sparkling water served in glass. Overall impression: very friendly staff, lack of ambience, but great selection.
This was my first experience at Sushi Train. My boyfriend was looking forward to taking me here as he thinks this is the BEST sushi train ever. I completely agree with him. Service is brilliant and staff are super friendly. All the grilled dishes were the best, especially the grilled scallops, they were so soft and just melted in my mouth. The beautiful smokey flavour was just amazing I will always remember it!
Sushi train is such an innovative idea and if you are a sushi lover then it can be good and bad. Good to see sushi continously coming through, bad for the pocket 😊😊
I have walked past this restaurant few times but eventually got a chance to try it out. Tried on my own but it's a to-be-shared place.
I loved the different types of sushis which I haven't seen before. Sushis are very fresh and looks very tempting. I could have stayed there whole day and kept trying all the different types of sushis.
I will definitely come back with friends.
I'm a big van of this Sushi Train. The service is always great and the sushi always fresh (I highly recommend the volcano role) but I do warn you that it gets really busy around lunch time.

I love comming here for either takeaways or dine in. They always have a nice fresh selection of sushi and at a good price for viaduct dining. The wasabi packs a punch. I lovr the teriyaki chicken mini 6 peice.
I have been here so many times and the food always tastes amazing. I do find that sometimes nigiri rice is falling apart, but this depends on who makes it. I highly recommend grilled sushi. Service is ok, but I wish they had more staff roaming around as I like order my sushi fresh, but the staff are always busy cleaning and not serving. Price is not cheap but do try this place at least once!
Been here a few times before already. The customer service here is good. Waitresses are friendly.
The sushi selection on the conveyor/belt is quite limited and seems like some of the sushi or food there have been sitting there for a while as other customers didn't want those dishes. Like the squid rings weren't crispy. The crumb coating was all soggy.
But their menu has a pretty good selection of sushi that you can request to be "made to order" and there are warm food that too can order like udon, donburi etc. udon is pretty good. Not as flavoursome and the noodles are very firm. Like they haven't cooked it long enough. The sea urchin sushi is quite fishy that it's so unpleasant to eat and that after taste. Ugh. Gross. Their aburi and "ship" selections are pretty darn good though.
Price range is ok but have been to cheap sushi trains
the staff here are super friendly, and walking in for the first time just amazed me.
this is my first time in sushi train and seeing food being served on a conveyor belt was enticing and made me eat heaps because its such a fun way to be served.
i had the Avocado and tuna roll
the deep fried prawn roll and teriyaki chicken.
the flavours were yum and the price was kinda worth it.
they have different coloured plates which are different in prices.
although i felt there wasn't much of a wow factor from the different priced sushi,
sushi train sure does make great sushi
awesome team awesome food, i will be a guaranteed returning customer here :)
I stopped coming to Sushi Train a few years ago when the place had really gone downhill. Now working nearby, I gave it another go for a quick lunch, and was pleasantly surprised to see the decor had been modernised. We sat at one of the new booths, which instantly made us feel more like we were diners about to enjoy a meal, and less like a seedy old man sitting at a bar (the way it used to be.)
The sushi, looked amazing.. Not just your average roll of rice and filling, it too has had a complete makeover. Each plate was beautifully presented, as you'd expect from a Japanese dining experience, but it was the unique toppings that really set the dishes apart. Our favourite was the rice bubbles that have a nice crunch in contrast to the soft rice and avocado.
The Karaage Chicken was a highlight, as was the soft shell crab. A nice addition to the train was this inclusion of desserts. Fairly simple.. Consisting of basics like jelly and chocolate mousse, but well welcomed by families taking their kids to enjoy the novelty of the train.
The new Sushi Train has become a favourite spot for lunch, although it is pricey, so we'll be visiting only when standard takeaway sushi just won't cut it.
When we first moved from Christchurch to Auckland, I was thrilled to find out that Auckland had not just one, but several sushi trains! Call it a novelty or a gimmick, but I love seeing lots of little sushi platters going past, tempting you to pick one up (or two, or three…)
We stumbled across the aptly named Sushi Train during a stroll around Viaduct Harbour. At that time it was undergoing renovations, but a few months later we came back, and were greeted with a nicely done-up little place. There were tables all along the sides of the conveyor belt where the sushi plates were circling, and the chefs were in the centre making fresh sushi. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who seated us quickly and took our drink orders.
This place functions in a similar manner to other sushi trains I’ve tried – the plates are color-coded according to price, so you pile your plates up after you are done and they tally the price from there. Aside from the large variety of sushi on the conveyor belt, you can order hot dishes which will be made to order. There was already heaps of dishes on the train – nigiri, rolls, sashimi, snacks, desserts – but I ordered an agedashi tofu and soft shell crab (both $5.50) anyway, as well as a grilled prawn sushi ($4.50). The bf eschewed the a la carte dishes, choosing instead to pile on the plates from the train.
My favourite sushi from the train was the salmon & ikura ship ($7.50) – salmon sashimi wrapped around the rice, with ikura (salmon roe) on top. The salmon roe bursts in your mouth, and combined with fresh raw salmon, is pure heaven. My agedashi tofu was only average, but the grilled prawn was perfectly done, and the soft shell crab was amazing value for money. A specialty of theirs appears to be the volcano roll ($5.50) where scallop, kanikama and cream cheese are put on rice and the whole thing is flamed in front of your eyes. Lots of people ordered that, but we gave it a miss.
All in all, decent food and a good variety of dishes both hot and cold. As a side note both of us did get mild food poisoning later that night, but we can’t be sure whether it was this place that contributed to it, or other food that we ate.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here since it's opening days and we are always happy to pick our sushi from a conveyer belt anytime. Otherwise the chef in the middle of the sushi train usually makes our sushi right away! The experience is always lovely and the udon is tasty.
My partner and I had dinner here this Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but enough people coming in and out at the train that we could tell the sushi turnover would be good. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, the lady who greeted and seated us was polite and friendly. We were seated directly in front of one of the chefs and really enjoyed watching him prepare the sushi.
While the sushi isn't the best I've had in Auckland, it's still great quality and taste, value for money and a fun eating experience. The 'Volcano Roll' seems to be a popular order. We really enjoyed the fresh King Fish nigiri, and the salmon sashimi was generous and delicious.
For those who have never eaten at a train before, the directions here are very clear and simple, and where we weren't sure about what to do or what we were eating, we felt comfortable asking the chef or the server. We had a great low-key time and will definitely be going back again, probably next time with friends.
Our new favorite place now, being there a few times. Good food, the sushi on the train looks fresh too.
The Chef at the counter is accommodating even it was closer to their closing time..
Service was good, most likely they have improved since the previous review..
I go here quite often and have always been pleased with the food. The service used to be a little off at times but never so bad that I wouldn't go back. However I went there with my husband last night and something had changed, for the better!
The staff on arrival and throughout the evening were extremely pleasant and helpful, the food was just as good, if not better in some cases (for example the grilled scallop nigiri was AMAZING! thick slices of scallop grilled to perfection).
The orders we made were quick to come out and all the food was extremely fresh.
We thought something was different and asked if they had changed owners and apparently they have within the last few months (I think the last time we went was early this year, so since then). I highly recommend it now 100% and we will definitely be going back again very soon.
You must order the Volcano Roll .. it's made to order and is to die for!
Love the sushi - fresh and reasonably priced. Love the concept of just sitting around and being able to choose your food. Edamame was served cold tho, which was weird... but edible nonetheless.
We always enjoy Sushi Train. Great variety of sushi and very yummy. Always a fun experience and friendly staff. It is expensive but you don't mind paying more for the selection and fun of it. Just wish we could have had sake with lunch as alcohol is only served with dinner.
Love the train and the variety of shushi
really yummy food, reasonable price and very quick and friendly service!
Yum! Yum! Yum! I hadn't been to Sushi Train in so long. I was so impressed with the great selection of plates chugging past our perches at the bar on a recent hot lunchtime in the city Colour coded plates correspond to the price, ranging from $3 for generally 3 pieces of fresh and tasty sushi to $7.50 for 6 pieces of delicious prawn katsu. Other tasty combinations like avocado and asparagus, salmon both cooked and raw, octopus, sashimi, spring rolls, inari, and edamame tempt you to eat more than you should or need! Ginger soy and wasabi are freely available. And there are extra offerings of udon and donburi to order if that's your favourite. And if you have a sweet tooth there are a number of jelly, tiramisu, or mousse desserts travelling on the train too! The staff are all very polite and helpful, they have high chairs and it's great value What more could you ask for ?!
We were greeted straight away by friendly and courteous staff. The food is delectable and fresh and there are so many different options to choose from. The prices are great too! Love this and will definitely come back :)))
Staff is super polite and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish, it was freshly and delicately prepared. The store was very clean and hygienic.
Thank you to Eva for the excellent customer service, she went well and beyond what we expected.
This place was amazing the staff were welcoming and great service.
My friend and myself had a good time.
Value for money and great tasty food.Definitely coming again
Choo-choo-choose this train! The sushi train that is. A group of us stopped in after a long days travel and this was the perfect spot for single eaters or friends traveling in a group. The system is easy; sit down and pic up the plates from the moving conveyor belt. Plates are color coded by price but all are equally delicious. Expect to eat 6-10 plates per person depending on your hunger level. I couldn’t decide, so ended up with 9 plates which is around $50 for my color combo. When in doubt give this place a try. All aboard!
Beautiful service as soon as we walked in very lovely and welcoming. The food is delicious and fresh. Tried wagyu beef for the first time and omg it just melted in my mouth. Definitely recommend coming here for sushi 🫶🏼
Absolutely amazing - brought family who live out of Auckland. Every time they are up this is our go to. Highly recommended. Large variety of sushi for all tastes. Great for families!!!!
This is our second time here , great food , great service , fun place for the whole family. We have a vegetarian and they are very accommodating. Making lots of options
We were greeted by the friendly staff before sitting down and enjoying the fantastic tasting food that passed by our table. Plenty of amazing selections as always even late in the night. Always enjoy coming here :)
Wonderful meal , lovely place and staff , parents can concentrate on eating sushi train here while keeping an eye on kids because there is a happy train corner specially made for kids .
My daughter and I have been regular customers of this Sushi Train Viaduct. We come here at least twice a month as we find the food here are so fresh and good. We love the udon, salmon skin and the sashimi are so fresh. You must try the desserts too, they’re so good! The service is awesome, all staffs including the chef are so polite and friendly. Also, if you bring little kids, you can let the kids play in the kids corner inside the resto while you’re enjoying the food🤗.
