Excellent service. Warm place to grab a bite and coffee and read a book. I ordered the cinnamon and brown sugar brioche and it tastes great especially once heated up with butter. I've tried some of their breakfast menus and they were outstanding as well!
We had the Eggs your way | Smashed avo w/ added poached egg. It was a really nice meal and very filling. One of my favourite branches, the setup is really cute.
This cute pastel coloured cafe nestled in a little side street is a perfect place for a catchup with good coffee. I like the simple aesthetics and quiet location. My friend and I had brunch and we both got the tiramisu french toast. We were definitely not disappointed, perfect for sweet tooths!
This cafe had a relaxed atmosphere whilst being very centrally located. They have something for everyone (all tastes and dietary requirements) which are all delicious and fresh.
Stops by here in the morning a lot, very friendly staff, good coffee and it is often more chill than other coffee takeaways its just the vibe of the space despite its being busy sometimes.
Excellent coffee. Very happy with the coffee. Also had a savoury muffin which was yums. Would’ve given it a solid 5 if not for the slightly “I’m too cool for you” service. I suppose with coffee that good they can be snooty? First place in Auckland on this trip I have had less than stellar service. Still - would go back. That’s how good the coffee is.
been back thrice in the past week-
Poached eggs, multigrain toast with Salmon
and their Smoked Ora King Salmon with salted anchovy Crème Fraiche 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Since the first glance of Mojo by the waterfront in Wellington, I couldn't move my mind on this coffee brand.
The simple turquoise color, classic coffee cup and last but not least, the perfect cup of coffee that comes to you.
No wonder I could be easily caught by this Mojo, even though it hides itself deep in a tiny alley. The familiar color and the distinctive aroma from Mojo roasted coffee beans.
Walk in, again it is a simple art work. Long table to share seats, you can find your own place or easily have a chat with friends face to face. The back counter is like a modern refurbished kitchen. Classic bites to go with your coffee such as brownie, scones or, you can just sit back and order a coffee.
As for me, always try latte as it is my love. If it comes out with a heated glass, right temperature, correct proportion of espresso and frothy milk, you are blessed.
Yes, In Mojo you are mostly blessed by the coffee effect. Enjoy.
Popped in here for lunch. Lovely airy space with a large communal table that runs almost the length of the cafe. Menu selection looked good, but I opted for a chicken sandwich from the cabinet. It was very tasty, albeit a bit expensive. I will definitely be back though.
An attractive small cafe that has a lovely turquoise exterior and inside a simple layout with a long service counter, a communal table that seats over 20 and bar seating along the large windows.
I had a great latte which was accompanied with a glass of sparkling water and loved my smashed avocado with feta and chilli flakes, a simple dish but done well just tastes exceptional.
Service was friendly and efficient. It wasn't too busy while I was there.
Mojo is the perfect name for this little gem, which is tucked away on a little side street in the central city. It's where you go to get back exactly that - your mojo! After and during a busy inner city day, this is a perfect place to refuel over an excellent coffee. The music is vibing, the staff are fast and friendly in their service, there's plenty of room and you can almost forget how busy the city is outside these bright blue walls. I will note, I often eat here early morning, before the lunch rush, so I usually enjoy a far more relaxed atmosphere than you would experience during busier periods.
When I was new to Mojo I felt the coffee and food was a little on the expensive side, compared to what I had grown accustomed to in Newmarket atleast. After growing accustomed to inner-city prices I have changed my mind somewhat. The consistent experience I get here is all worth it and the kitchen produces pretty great food (try the smashed Avo with chilli flakes, you won't regret it).
The decor inside is all large, long communal tables and benches - which I really enjoy. It stops the place feeling bitsy and gives an airy feeling to the interior.
To top it all off, you can download the Mojo IOS app, which allows you to scan your phone when purchasing - no need to bring your wallet! You can create an account and load money into it, so all you do is scan and go. Small details such as this make Mojo my go-to cafe during a work week.
Was looking for a cafe to grab my daily dose of coffee. And since I've always been to cafes on High St, today I thought, why not try out Mojo? The barista that was serving us was real friendly, creds to his awesome service! Ordered my favourite coffee, which is cappuccino and a hot chocolate for Eggster Eats The cappuccino was really nice and hot, the barista here has some great talent! I really like the spacing/environment of Mojo, it gives you a warm, welcoming and cozy feeling-just like home! It's a great place to catch up with friends or when you're stressed out! I'm going to be one of their regulars from now on!
Went to Mojo for a little pick me up in the city and ordered a hot chocolate. Loved how cosy the cafe was and the staff was friendly. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and hope to come back to relax and drink more of their hot chocolate. And of coursr they offered the best entertainment with the magazines.
Was absolutely delighted to discover such a quaint little place.
Tucked away in Durham Street, Mojo is painted Tiffany blue attracting people to go inside. The interior was small but has a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
The menu and the selection in the cabinet was not extensive, but all the items were very mouthwatering. My toasted sandwich with kumara, cheese, and caramelised onions was simple yet delicious, especially paired with their chutney.
Coffee was really decent, and the service was friendly (love that they serve soda water without extra charge). The perfect place to chill out with friends or by yourself.
Mojo Coffee has everything to be one of the best cafés in Auckland. The place is cool, they have high quality beans from different countries. You will also be able to try different methods, like steampunk, which is really good.
In my recent visit the weak point was definitely the service? How come can you run an almost 40 seats place with a two people staff?
The result is that I waited for almost 20 minutes to get a coffee. It was really good, tough. But if I was in a hurry I should have cancelled it.
I had the best Chai latte here - perfect mix of sweet and spice. I also had the toasted muesli without the yoghurt - delicious, crunchy, not too sweet and presented beautifully with heaps of berries and the addition of edible flowers which were a sweet touch. The staff were very accommodating for my dietary requirements which made the experience much more enjoyable. My breakfast at mojo was a perfect start to my day.
The Mojo cafe franchise is one of my favourites, with my local located on Durham Lane. The layout and aesthetics of the cafe is beautiful. Wooden floors and tables with hanging industrial lights it really sets the scene for a relaxed sitting.
I always order a flat white which I can not fault. Today I ordered a cinnamon brioche which they offered to heat for me. After a brief 3-4 minutes my coffee and brioche was ready and placed in front of me at my window seat alongside complimentary sparkling water which for me is going that extra mile with service.
Staff are friendly and the cafe offers both inside and outdoor seating which is always a win for me, especially coming into summer.
Great start to the day, will be back!
With the lovely weather this week, decided to stop off at Mojo's for a coffee catchup. Despite having multiple locations, all of the Mojo's are designed really well with beautiful blue and wooden interiors and a classy but still relaxed feel. Usually we don't like to visit franchised cafes (Mojo's aren't franchised but a similar model) as quality + consistency can be lacking but we decided to give it a shot.
I had a chai latte... it was close to perfect for me! Sweet and spicy....it's hard to find, some places do it not spicy enough with no sweetness or too sweet/not sweet enough. I've been like goldilocks traipsing around trying to find a perfect one to my tastes, and this came very close. Nice that they served complimentary sparkling water.. it's the little things that leave a nice touch. The cabinet food actually looked quite good too.
Shame that they don't have Wifi though, it's a nice work area and I could have sat and worked for a while, especially with the central location and perfect people watching views. NZ Cafes need to pick up their game, Wifi should be standard at any central cafe.
Popped in for a coffee and had the brew of the day. Not bad value for $5.50. Got a few cups out of it. Taste wise, it was decent, not amazing but very good for a franchise cafe.
Nice atmosphere, great for an inner city catch up.
Really chilled out cafe. Heaps of uni students studying. Great coffee (and hot chocolate!). Super cute decor. Love the mojo loyalty coffee app- such a great idea and so much easier than remembering to bring a coffee card.
I really love this cafe. Staff are welcoming and food is delicious. I had the avocado smash with broccolini, it was fantastic. Will be returning and most likely ordering the same thing again!
This place is nice and spacious and my wife loved the layout, especially the tiling (yet again). Lol. The staff here are brilliant and we were there nice and early on a week day. We grabbed a couple of double trim flat white's, poached eggs on toast and a toasted cheese and scone and date scone. This is a great place to grab brekkie and coffee before the hitting the office.
Really love this little bright cafe, great service, they got people who knows how to make a good cup of joe. Their window bar are such a great idea, it makes people watching even more fascinating.
Last time I went here their music is quite loud, that is the only down point about this place.
Great place for coffee. They make fantastic soy lattes! The staff are quite friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. They smoothies, especially the raw cacao one, are fab.
The latest incarnation in the Mojo set of corporate cafes has managed to integrate all the latest cafe fads into one venue, bold exterior colour, rustic wooden floors, tiled feature walls, extended shared table, open and airy with a hipster appeal. Its conversion from a bikini shop to a glass fronted cafe has helped transform this part of Durham lane into a mini food alley. It definitely gets plenty of points for being one of the more attractive cafe's in the city, a few points off for a very small food cabinet selection, one point off for serving a toasted bun with cold scrambled egg filling, but then extra points for a high relaxivity quotient bundled with never-ending street action scenery....
Great latte, great ambience and friendly staff., but the real winner was the free sparkling water. Love the decor and magazine selection. I'm definitely becoming a regular here.
Heads up coffee/food lovers... there's a new Mojo in town! From their popular Vulcan Lane store, to their large cafe in Newmarket and now one has just opened on Durham Street!
Located just up from Glassons and right next to Renkon, this new cafe is easy to spot - you won't miss the bright blue building and outdoor seating.
Inside, the decor is light, bright and you can either sit at the very long table in the middle or at the window bar, which would be great for people-watching!
Now, onto the food! Couldn't believe how many options there were! From their breakfast and lunch meals (they cook everything fresh to order), to sweet treats from Amandine, raw cheesecakes from The Raw Kitchen, plus amazing paninis (I like the prosciutto one), sandwiches and muffins etc.
And we can't forget the coffee! I have to be honest, I didn't actually try one...instead I saw Kombucha (organic probiotic tea) on the menu and had never tried it so I finally did! But if their coffee is as good as their Vulcan Lane store, then I'm sold! Strong, extra hot coffee, just how I like it!
If you're not a coffee lover, they also serve an array of drinks, such as sodas, kombucha (as mentioned above), juices, smoothies (I've got my eye on the cacao one) and Hopt soda! So excited to see a cafe in the CBD selling Hopt - made my day!
Overall, had a great time at the new Mojo - thank you Sarah and Yatchi for the lunch! :D Now just gotta eat and drink my way through the whole menu!
Fantastic place for breakfast and coffee, you can tell that the baristas know their stuff and take pride in their coffee. Food tasted great, absolutely loved the tiramisu French toast, it was perfect and a unique breakfast dish. The add ones can be quite pricey, the menu is limited with not much to choose from, it has the basics, but I’d love to see a few more unique dishes.
You can't go wrong with any of the coffee options: flat white, mochachino, latte, etc. I've frequented this location many times and it's always consistently good. The food is quite pricey though so I just stick to drinks.
A lovely little Mojo. Nice atmosphere and service was friendly, quick and efficient. Food and coffee of high standard. I would definitely come back. I recommend the Mojo Bene which is particularly good. Good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice seating along a big window although it only looks out on the alleyway it’s still good
Great coffee, really friendly staff and delicious almond croissant.
A lot of options for eating and drinking. Highly recommended for a breakfast with friends or even alone. Daily full near 8am but easy to stay and wait.
Lovely small cafe, croque monsieur so good and coffee excellent! Friendly staff and beautiful interior. Thank you!
Came in for a quick coffee, got a sweet muffin. They nuked the muffin to "always blow on the pie" level, but once it cooled it was very good, it arrived quickly. The coffee also arrived quickly and was particularly hot, tasted fine and it was a nice place to chill for ten minutes.
Almond crosant with Cappuccino here are the best in town.
Amazing cup of coffee! Love the place :)
Great coffee! And open early on a Sunday which i am eternally grateful for.
This is a unique quaint little place hidden away off Queen Street.
Great coffee and food.
Large coffee comes in a tall glass with a long spoon.
Loved my coffee today. It was exactly what I needed after a few too many ales last night. Loved the eggs and bacon with a chilli spice twist mmmm
Chill, nice to go and expend time, food is ok ;)
