We dined in last night for dinner and it was a great experince. Awesome place to eat!! Massive Thank you to the wonderful waitress who was serving us last night. She gave Excellent customer service and always had a smile on her face even tho she was busy checking on other tables. Food was delicious and affordable. Would definitely recommend Lil Easy to everyone. Would fully recommend that you reserve a table as it can get busy. Lucky we did last night will definitely be coming back with family and friends. 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
I had the absolute pleasure of hosting my 21st birthday in the function room of Little Easy. From the get go, the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. The process of hiring the space was made simple and stress-free. The food and drink were great, staff lovely, and the space was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend hosting your next event/function at Little Easy. It is a wonderful venue, made better thanks to the brilliant staff. Thanks for everything!
I love coming here. Not only are the staff amazing and friendly the food is just awesome! $10 burgers that are so yum and huge! How can you go wrong!! Definitely recommend it to everyone
1st time at this bar and we will definitely be back!
Awesome atmosphere, great food at a reasonable price and the staff are amazing
Thank you for making our night a great one
See you next time
The food is amazing, atmospher was relaxing and staff were friendly would definitely recommend too all my friends and family
Excellent food, onion rings to die for, great burgers and lovely staff great finish to stay up north.
Thank you to all your staff for accommodating our group last minute for the All Blacks game on Saturday. Friends had flown in from UK and Wellington so we were rapt. You were rewarded with a lot of money spent by our group!
Staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was awesome and I had the best chicken burger (Chick Norris) for $10! If only they were in Sydney so I could become a regular 👍🏻
Had such a great night for my birthday on Saturday night! Loved the vibe and the staff were awesome
beers, burgers, fun staff and a great place to be whether you're chilling with a book or partying Friday night. love this place

I had the kamehameha and eggplant chips, they were divine!! I am definitely coming back sometime soon! Plus, music and place is
$10 burger meal came with fries and aioli on the sides. - delicious! and giving the options of gluten free bun make the whole deal better!
The service is good and all staff are friendly!
Tasty fish n chips, nice crispy batter and fresh fish. Chips are perfect. Korean wings are the best I’ve had. Stumbled upon this place and thought I’d give it a try. Pleasantly surprised. Nice staff.
Came here for the $1 wings on a freezing Wednesday night! Place was packed for the quiz night but the outdoor heating was a big plus! We ordered off the small plate menu and shared out dishes so we could try a bit of everything. Totally recommend keeping an eye out for specials if you’re in a tight budget total approx $40 for 2 people with a coke each! Fab value.
Great ambience friendly staff and delicious food. Easy parking too especially after work! Ribs, wings and beer make an excellent combo!
Will definitely be back soon!

Went here on a Sunday for lunch and had the BBQ ribs, onion rings, grass fed beef sliders and spicy buffalo wings.
Beef sliders-bun was crispy on the outside, soft in the centre. Beef was juicy and pink in the centre. Sauce tasted just like McDonalds Big Mac sauce. Overall this burger just tasted like a refined Big Mac
Onion rings-crispy and delicious. Just good old onion rings. Accompanying sauce was tangy and went well with the onion rings.
Spicy buffalo wings-cooked well, chicken was not dry. Flavour was balanced but personally would have preferred "spicy" to be spicier or at least have a bottle of hot sauce on the table to use.
BBQ ribs-flavour was rich but sadly everything else was disappointing. Flavour failed to penetrate into the meat so all of it was on the outside. The meat was so hard I had difficulty cutting it up. Definitely not falling off the bone compared to ribs at other restaurants.
Overall a pleasant experience. Restaurant had a good vibe (good music, sports playing on the big screen and a wide selection of drinks)
Awesome burgers and fries! Went with 14 family and friends (booked in advanced) and were given awesome service not to mention how prompt the staff were with us all. Thanks Little Easy!
We love pork ribs here and used to came every week. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. And serve popcorn while you waiting your food which is really sweet !
Love the chicken here. The meat is tender and juicy and the batter is crispy and delicious. It's lathered in sauce and full of flavour.
The food is all presented very nicely and the service is quick and friendly. Good menu with lots of options.
Came here for snacks an bevy’s during the week, had a great quiz night and the bar staff did there best to cater for us even though we hadn’t booked! Great service, great food! Only mild nit pick would be that the quiz was crazy loud but so not a major!
Hubby and I came on a rainy Sunday and we both ordered the Americano burger. We each reached the same conclusion - they were incredible. The patties were cooked to perfection and were so juicy and flavourful. The only downside was the music - it was very loud and made it hard to have a conversation.

I have been here twice, one to dine in and one to take away some food. Therefore I will talk about both of my experiences here.
First, I came here on a Friday evening to dine in with my friends as it was rainy and the other restaurants were full and we did not book anything. Therefore we went to Little Easy. We had average expectations since we did not even look into Zomato or Google reviews to see if it was good or not. It was basically an experiment, but a very worth it and successful it was. As soon as we got in we had pretty good seats under the indoor umbrellas. There were a couple of parties running at the time that even the security thought we belonged there.
As soon as we were seated we were given the menu by a lovely waitress and some water. We ordered the mac and cheese bites, melted cheddar burger, buffalo wings, fries, doughnuts and a jug of lemon lime bitters. The waitress thought it was a lot for three petite girls but we finished it. :)
In terms of the quality of food, it was pretty good overall. I reckon the best out of all the food we ordered was the melted cheddar burger. Yummy. It was simple, fairly cheap and not overly humongous in size but it was perfect. The cheese just oozes out of the burger so it was a bit of a saucy consistency. The meat was well done which I preferred and it has exceeded my expectations.
The lemon lime bitters was pretty good to be honest and the fries too.
It was pretty good that I came back on a Monday night to take away the same burger with fries. Since my experience with the burger was very good, I ordered the chicken burger which was not shown in the photo below. The chicken burger was pretty good too that I have come to the conclusion that the first thing you should get in this restaurant is a burger above everything else.
I would highly recommend this to all of my friends. :D
Came here on a Friday for a $10 burger to trial one as I like to hunt down good burgers. Was impressed! They also had $20 jugs of sangria which was WELL worth, really good drink, full of fruit, really tasty, and definitely not mean on the amount of alcohol in the jug. The burger was worth the price, was pretty good, classic and tasty, better than most. Definitely not the best I’ve had but it was only $10. Would like to return and try the other burgers they had, a big selection to choose from! Very friendly talkative staff, lovely service. Cool spot right on Ponsonby road.
I’ve been to Little Easy maybe three or four times now. These burgers are absolutely amazing! I’m obsessed with the Kamehameha and the ChickNorris, they are just so flavourful and filling and they are only $10! The onion rings is okay wouldn’t really recommend,a bit oily for my taste but pretty yummy fries!
love the ambience of this place love the lights and decor! Always great music playing and sometimes they have a live dj! It’s great when it’s not too busy because the place can get really damn hot.
All in all definitely a must try!
Came here last Sunday. Ordered a couple of burgers and some fries. My 2 and 4 year old got a plate of fries to share. They bought out colouring pencils and paper straight away. Our Waitress was really friendly. I got the mexican burger and it tasted great. I would come back again.
Came here last night for an event (Sunday night) and it was a decent time. The service was super lovely by all staff, they were very attentive and really friendly. I would give a higher rating just for that.
Food on the other hand was average. It was presented really nicely on platters for the event, but the food itself was very bland.
We got the original chicken wings as well as the hot sauce ones, chicken and vegetarian tacos and burger sliders. The hot wings were good not too spicy at all, but had a nice taste. The original wings were a lemony garlic flavour which i didn’t find to be that tasty. The filling of tacos was also very average, needing more flavour in it. I can’t comment on the burger sliders as I didn’t eat them, but the brioche buns on them looked really good!
Overall food was a let down but the service was impeccable. Keen to try their proper menus in future
Went here for my friend's 21st party, and it was a great experience. Food was great, the drinks were great too. The vibe and the atmosphere was great. It was a private party, but after 12 they let the public in which was nice, it turned up the vibe even more!
Little Easy is a Ponsonby pub that aims to get the basics of a good pub right – great drinks, simple, tasty food, live music, and an overall fun atmosphere.
Service: Friendly, helpful, welcoming
Food: Good flavour, creative, but too oily
Environment: Cosy, nice, relaxing
Price: Decent budget with $10 price, side dishes are reasonable too, drinking price list is affordable.
This place is one of our favourite spots, starting with making a reservation for just the two of us, they always give us a nice booth. Service is really friendly and accommodating, lots of smiles.
Ambience is nice, has that trendy Ponsonby pub vibe. Not a fan of when they have the live music there though, the acoustics/speaker tends to over shoot and give off that piercing ringing in my ears.
We had 2x the wise man and we always get the eggplant chips and onion rings. Everything came out in good time, hot and delicious.
Just as a side note I would like to mention the hot wings challenge, the staff were really excited and supportive about us trying it. Although we were defeated, I can now say I've experienced the definition of hot. If you're brave enough, give it a go.
Friendly staff with excellent service. Good hang-out to catch-up with friends. Decent selection on the menu with a great sampler platter that we enjoyed
Came in yesterday (a Sunday) and greeted by friendly staff and a perfectly lit ambience. Food was cooked to perfection!!! So good that my boyfriend claimed he blacked out (about the eggplant chips in particular). In addition to the we had the mac and cheese burger and the Kamehameha which were the best burgers we have had in a long time and yeah, we love a good boiga. At a price point of $10 a piece, they are a generous size and difficult to imagine my life from onwards without
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5 (waiter gave recommendations and told us immediately what the kitchen was out of, warm and helpful FOH! Wooooo ty ty!)
Food: 10/5
Great Decor and the food was good too. Special mention to the Waffle Chicken. That was quite unique. However the Tab beers that I tried was a little bit off. But again I enjoyed the live performer there as well, overall a go.
Came by to celebrate a friends PhD oral defence. They had a huge selection of drinks including beers and cocktails and were able to whip something up for someone who wanted something a bit different.
I had the chicken and waffles and it was alright. Both waffles and chicken were crispy but the chicken was a bit over cooked.
We were seated in the spacious outdoor area overlooking Ponsonby Road and it wasn't too loud. Nice service and interestingly had a game in the mens bathroom.
Nice place for snack and drink. But becomes noisy after 6 p.m. I prefer more quite places. So if you like party atmosphere that's your place. Burgers were one of the best I've ever tried! Despite the fact that they forgot to add bacon. Very friendly staff and good service.
On the menu tonight was a Big Easy Burger, a Big Labroyeski and The Cuban, accompanied with fries and calamari. All and all it, it was pretty yummy. The baconbeef patties were a little too full on, but the calamari was super gourms.
Great value for money burgers
We ordered the buttermilk chicken burger and the 50/50 pattie and mac and cheese burger. Honestly i expected more mac and cheese but was still filling and delicious
My brother had the chicken and was thoroughly impressed
Their burgers are $10 so good sized burgers for that price given the location
We will be going back to try other things on the menu
Great vibe, and amazing staff.
Enjoying going through their daily specials.
Have been here quite a few times for drinks. Big, spacious venue with a cool upstairs. Bartenders are friendly & make good drinks. This weekend we went for a bite to eat & I was pleasantly surprised by the Pork Belly Lettuce Cups & Eggplant Chips - both pretty tasty. My friend ordered the pickle plate - this is a variety of pickled things - olives, carrots, artichokes & some sort of sausage. Good but not what he was expecting.
Little Easy is a great place to enjoy a drink or 3 and listen to some oldschool/newschool Hiphop or R&B. Because of its music selection, It is the only bar that remains unique to Ponsonby as they stick with that certain genre. (Dont ever change) This bar will always be a fav for this reason.
Great spot to start a night out or relax with friends and a drink in the evening. Friendly and attentive staff, great spaces (nice area out the front, courtyard out back and booths inside) and cute little touches like free popcorn! Highly recommend the burgers and eggplant chips in terms of food.
A burger with mac & cheese in it? Yes please. Was here for the Sunday night comedy. the service was good, if not a bit chaotic, we wanted fries with our burgers but they didn't add them to the order. Burgers were delicious & great value at $10 - usually $17.
Back into Ponsonby, to Little Easy. The service was quite slow, we had to hunt down and ask different waiting staff for a drink. I think I was there almost 30 minutes before we got a drink, then every other drink after that was also slow.
The food was awesome, I had the Mac n Cheese, probably the best I have ever had! I wondered if you added a truffle crumb it would send it to the next level, but hey I'd come back for this dish again anytime!! All the other dishes were great pub grub dishes!
The outside areas and Inside areas were funky and fresh. The toilets were a let down as there were lots of little flies In there.
I loved the band tonight! Wow they could sing!! But I wish we weren't sat inside because the music was so loud we couldnt hear each other, which was a shame because we reserved a table and everything.
I'll probably come here again! I'd sit outside and get a jug of beer and just chill. It's a place for a nice casual catch up, not so much for a birthday dinner venue.
This was my 2nd visit to this place. The first visit was during a busy period. After ordering, I waited aprox 45 mins and still no food or anyone to let me know what the delay was. I then walk out disappointed.
Yesterday I decided to give these guys one last chance. I went in as they do all burgers @$10 on Sundays. I ordered the Buffalo wings & the Lost Soul's burger.
Just for fun I decided to time them (it was a quiet day) to my surprise it only took 15 mins 😁😁😁. The food was delicious and tasty & I would gladly go back.
The only sour taste left in my mouth, was the negative experience, I had initially. As they say "first impressions, are the most lasting"
Quite expensive and a variety of food options, would recommend the buffalo wings for sure, definitely filling enough for two. I enjoyed the ambience and the music and the waitstaff were exceptionally helpful

Went to Little Easy for a chill drink and easy dinner. I had the chicken burger which was so yummy, loved the crispiness and the brioche, and but my friend had one of the beef burgers which was average.
Service was average at best. The waitress had a terrible attitude and got pissy when we moved tables.
Love Little Easy. I attend for Bitchin' Bingo and between the happy hour drinks, $10 chicken Parma and entertainment it is an amazing night out. The food is always yummy and the meals are huge!

I cant say I have had the most enthusing dining experiences at Little Easy, a few times when I have had a burger there its been a bit "all over the show" - too clunky and clumsily plated to make it match my appetite, definitely better to dine on Ponsonby road #g1
A few nights ago, I attended my first Miss Viv’s Bitchin’ Bingo held at Little Easy. I was super excited because I have never tried her particular bingo (but have always wanted to), plus I have only ever been to Little Easy for drinks, so I thought it was a great chance to try out their food, in particular their burgers.
The atmosphere was buzzing when we arrived and eventually, the place was packed – definitely a place to be on a weeknight! The bingo was so much fun, lots of laughs and I highly recommend it. If you are thinking of going, make sure you book ahead as it is very popular and also arrive earlier than the start time for some great pub food and drink!
Our waiters throughout the whole night were super friendly and helpful in terms of what to order for drinks and food, which was great. The ‘Spiced Coffee’ cocktail instantly caught my eye, consisting of Appleton’s rum, Kahlua, espresso and house spiced syrup. It was a dream – creamy, sweet, bitter and nicely presented. I would definitely recommend this cocktail and I can’t wait to go back and have another one!
Little Easy has a great burger selection – from a three patty burger, to a vegetarian one, to pulled pork and there is also a lamb option. I couldn’t go past the 100% pulled pork burger filled with ham, Swiss cheese, slaw and spicy mayo. The burger, WOW! It was huge, juicy, and it had a great kick to it! It was quite filling, so I would recommend sharing it with another person.
Others ordered their vegetarian burger, chicken parma, mac n cheese and chicken and waffles. All dishes were tasty and hit the spot.
We also ordered desserts – chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream, plus three scoops of peanut butter, flat white and banana ice cream. To be honest, the desserts were all a let-down. The fondant was not runny inside and tasted more like a brownie. The ice cream was very average compared to other ice cream places in Auckland.
Big points to the bingo, the burger, delicious cocktail and of course, Little Easy for their great hospitality – it was an enjoyable night!!!
Sweet, saucy delicacies galore. It's a big and brunty menu, with great portions. Excellent service from the friendly staff, and a very short time from order to serve for drinks and food. Sit snug inside or out, you'll have a mean feed.
Went here on Sunday for the $10 burger deal. Given that it's branded as 'pub food' and that I have never really thought of Little Easy as a place to eat (more just a place to stumble into late on Friday night) I wasn't expecting very much, but was pleasantly surprised! For $10 I got a burger, fries and small side salad. The burger was good, with an amazing brioche bun and the sides really hit the spot! Also, the pub is quite tidy in the light of day and being able to sit outside is nice. Recommend for a cheap Sunday lunch / hangover cure.
Went last night. Our first waitress was very friendly. We ordered spiced coffee for drinks and it was good. If anything, it went down a little too well! 🙈
For mains, we ordered chicken and waffles, buffalo wings and Caesar salad. They were so yummy! I loved the blue cheese in the salad and the combination of chicken with waffles is just 👍🏼
Dessert, we had fondant and creme brûlée. Fondant was amazing I wanted more!
Unfortunately, creme brûlée was very bad. Sugar coating was too thick and the pudding was just cream.....

Went here for the burgers but was recommended the wings... And I wasn't disappointed 👌 Super fresh herbs and spices, the wings were delicious. Burgers were great to, good specials on the weekend for these 🍔😊
I've recently started going to Little Easy's 'stand up Sundays' which is $10 entry for 4 comedians including a headline act. It also happens to be $10 burger night at Little Easy on Sundays (considering they are usually $19 this is a pretty good deal!). They have an extensive list of burgers and it is always a struggle trying to choose. So far I have had the Chicken burger and Shrimp Po Boy and sampled the Fish and Lamb. I'm sure by the end of the Stand Up Sundays season I will have tried them all. The Shrimp Po Boy was the most promising so far and had great flavour but it seemed like the shrimp had been re-heated and wasn't crisp like it should be. You know when deep fried things are microwaved and they become limp and the batter detaches from the meat? It might have been a one-off so I won't rule out ordering it again because I did enjoy, it just could have been better. All burgers are served with a side of shoestring fries. I think one of my favourite things about Little Easy is the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful and give me good advice when I'm tossing up between two burgers.
I went to little easy with a work group for burgers and Bitch'n Bingo. The place had a fantastic atmosphere on the night and the bingo is a less mentally taxing version of the pub quiz with a lot more comedy - would recommend. Our burgers were all served on time ( hard for a group of 20) nice and hot and extremely tasty.
I like little Easy their burgers are quite nice and the fries are delicious.
The slaw is a bit dry. Alcohol drinks are alright.
Great atmosphere with awesome music! If you enjoy Hip Hop and RnB also Pop music this is the place to be.
Update: came here the other week for nibbles!! The outstanding dish was the eggplant dish they were amazing! Also had lamb ribs, pork belly wraps, fries, and squid rings.
Always a good time here :) great food, awesome atmosphere and wicked staff! Even better that it's a late night bar too on the weekends! Heaps of daily rituals... This place is too much :)
I've just come here to party and it cranks. Even when I'm travelling past there sems to be a que to get in. They have friendly and well presented staff also
Came here for lunch on a quiet Saturday. Greeted instantly and had fantastic service. Great drink choice (tried two of the tap beers - very nice) and ordered halloumi and veggie toastie, big labroyesky and a side of onion rings. All absolutely delicious - the fries were outstanding. All full of flavour and felt quite indulgent. Just marking down half a point as the food was all pretty greasy. Great overall though!
Two words; basil daiquiri. Good staff, great music, fabulous cocktails! Excellent place to go on a Friday night for a few drinks and a bowl of great chips. However as it is a bar/club, cocktail orders cease after a certain time. Overall a good vibe
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a member of staff which is nice. Went in on a quieter day so was able to have a chat with some of the staff.
Their food menu is rather large. Easy to satisfy any food craving.
Their portion amount is rather large, but their price matches it.
I've never been a fan of skinny chips, the ones that are deep fried and can get greasy real easily.
Their burger range is great but their buns came from a frozen batch. Wasn't soft or anything. It all fell apart in your hands while eating it which is always disappointing and messy.
This place is good if you want something easy and relaxing and out with friends.
The place had a great vibe, friendly staff and real good burgers. I ordered the Shrimp po' boy and definitely no regrets. Worth the $19, fries was good too!
The specials are amazing, Sunday evening burgers for the whole family 10bucks each.
Really fun.
Really friendly staff,.
Have been twice, with teenage family, cool place to hang out , and awesome burgers.
They have a special on other nights too, butvi have only been on subdays, in fact we are just heading there right .
The burgers are good quality beef patties.
Came here accidentally one Sunday afternoon, saw the $10 burger deal so decided to give it a go, the man who served us was so friendly and catered to my request for a non spicy sauce on my burger. The burgers were huuuge and sooo yummy! And came with fries which we weren't expecting. Would definitely recommend for a Sunday hangover/casual lunch 😊
Sunday night dinner out at Little Easy started off to a nice start, came into a nice chill environment with a decent amount of people around the place. Sat in the garden bar and was promptly bought menus by a friendly waiter. Another worker came out to take our order 5 or so mins later, seemed like they didn't want to serve us or was tired? No friendly attitude mixed with not paying attention to us when ordering. Also gave us incorrect expectations in regards to I.D needing to be shown for purchasing JUST food, was told didn't need id. Then couple mins later, was told actually you do. Bit annoying as no signs saying it was needed, also being told wrong info. (Although we should have presumed that because it's partly a bar, I.D was needed). Car was parked far away so took around 10 to get it and come back. Although that implication, the rest of the workers were awesome! Super friendly and considerate. Food served so quick that it beat me to getting back lol. Got the chicken burger and prime beef burger AND they were having $10 burger night special. Woo! Burgers were ok, my chicken burger seemed dry a little but that might be because mine was under the warmer for a bit? Chips just average shoestrings like mcds. I think the workers set the tone for how much you enjoy a place. Bar man who we paid with was really nice, if all who served us were competent I would be more inclined to rate higher. Shame I can't this time round. Overall cool Sunday session venue, cool music and league on tv too.
The food was amazing popcorn shrimp, the fries, aioli and the burgers are huge!! Definite bang for your buck even when it's not on special!
Great service, cool atmosphere and decor, and the lost souls burger blew my mind!!!! Black dog on tap is great as well! Thanks for an awesome afternoon.
First time here and loved the food , atmosphere , and especially the service ! Will definitely be back very soon. Recommend the honey and lemon wings mmm
amazing burgers for 10 dollars on sunday, first time here, friendly staff, very laid back. would come again. But maybe need a bit more slaw on the side would be perfect
Great place to hang, has a really chilled atmosphere when not crazy around happy hour.
Love there duck salad it was delicious.
Great service, even better food and very dog friendly. Head in on a Sunday arbo for specials on the buggers. My new favorite place for a beer and bugger with my best mate!
Came here for a family dinner, and boy did we get a feast! The deep fried goodness platter was an amazing assortment of goodness! The chicken wings were full of flavours. The ribs were juicy and tender and the delicious burgers with very generous servings of freshly cut shoestrings fries. The only downside is, things were a bit on the salty side. But nothing better to wash it down with their great selection beverages. The 3L keg was a bit of a challenge but we did it!
Awesome place, awesome staff, awesome food. Will definitely come back again!
Get the ribs - they're great!
We went for a catch up coffee during the day and it was lovely sitting out on Ponsonby road people watching.
The staff were lovely, and I don't drink coffee often enough to be a pro at flavours but it was pretty delicious, I even had two!!
Amazing food (ordered burger this time) and friendly crew team. My second time and definitely coming back again.
Little Easy is the new 'Franklin' on Ponsonby rd, newly renovated it is a comfy pub. I went there to meet some friends for dinner after work and we sat in a booth downstairs which was cosy and comfy. There is also plenty of outdoor areas as well as upstairs. The menu is American style pub fare with big hearty burgers. I had the fried chicken burger and my friends had the double bacon double cheese burger. Apparently the brioche bun that the dbdc burger came in was amazing, so I think I would definitely get that next time.
I have an obsession with salted caramel at the moment, so I had the salted caramel ice cream for dessert, it was fantastic, it tasted like it might have been the Kohu Rd ice cream.
