Really good find this Japanese restaurant and the food is amazing. Very highly recommended and will definitely be going back.
Sashimi was very fresh, strongly recommend this. Sizzling prawn would be nicer if they had more yum yum sauce on it.
I was disappointed with the tempura, as this was not Japanese tempura batter… more like the batter from fish and chips shop.

Delicious food! Pricey but very worth it. My fave is the teriyaki beef. The sparkling sake was soooo good too, and definitely try the green tea mud cake if you have room for dessert! 👌🏼
The raw oyster on the sashimi was amazing but everything was delicious and the staff very attentive. Definitely on my list for another visit when in the area

Love this restaurant in a very nice location. It is by a marina so you feel a sense of relaxation when you arrive at the location. We were served quickly by nice and smiling servers. The restaurant was clean and the plates were cool! Quality ingredients!
Every dish we tried was super tasty. The fish tasted really fresh. The sushi was good but not perfectly constructed. Still tasted great. Spicy tuna roll wasn't too spicy. The tuna tataki was a highlight!
Best Japanese food around. Ambience is super loud and crowded though, which is a shame.

Been enjoying Gouemon since it first opened, it must be close to 20 years. The food is always consistently delicious with excellent presentation. The best Japanese outside of the CBD.
Food was exceptional , probably the best Japanese food we have ever had. Loved the small intimate restaurant, staff were very attentive and food was SO quick to be cooked/served
