Omg, the wings were amazing. The coconut lime fish was like my mums, Jesus the food was goooood.
Great food and great service. Highly recommended for Mexican cuisine
The queso and chicken enchiladas are to die for! The fried chicken, cocktails and service is also amazing. We regularly visit because it is simply delicious and amazing value for money. Vegetarian friendly!
Best Mexican everrrrrr 😋😋
Excellent food. Excellent ambience. Great experience !!
Fabulous family dinner here last night
Horrible weather
Great to get inside
Service friendly but a bit slow off the mark and not busy
Some did the 3 course Special
I had 2 Monteiths Lagers which were excellent
Main was Chimichangas de Cerde (pulled pork)
Quite spicy but delicious
Nice sides with it
Other meals all welcomed by other 7
Quite a gem for Newmarket
Flying burrito brothers is my favourite place for Mexican food. The tacos are just amazing- my favourites are the pork and beef ones which are slow cooked and oh so flavoursome. The cheese quesadillas are simple and yet so delicious. Always love coming back here for my taco fix! Service here is really great too!
Super nice ambience with great portion of food. Tacos are great and sangria( traditional Mexican wine) is a must-try. Will visit again for sure.
Walked past this place on Tuesday and say they were doing $55 for a 3-course meal for two (starter, main, dessert). We tried the Chicken Wings and Ceviche for starters, Beef Burrito & Chicken Quesadilla for mains, and the churros & ice cream for dessert. Everything came quickly, and full of flavour. There was so much food I didn't actually finish everything - which is rare for me when dining out. Service was friendly. Will be back to try more of the menu.
Great Mexican food. You feel transported into the streets of Mexico, with the music and the decorations on the walls. We ordered the burritos which were very well seasoned and came with a lot of different side dishes.
Will definitely go again and try something else.
We ordered the beef Fajita and a side of calamari. The beef fajita was served with tortillas, beans, salsa, sour cream, carrot, salad, guacamole and red onion. It was basically a mini build your own soft shell “taco “ dish. The beef could have been a bit more tender but apart from that it was an amazing dish.
The calamari coating was flavoursome and paired well with their aioli. The calamari itself was tender and not too chewy.
Overall a good experience here and would recommend.
Great Mexican food. You feel transported into the streets of Mexico, with the music and the decorations on the walls. We ordered the burritos which were very well seasoned and came with a lot of different side dishes.
My favourite mexican place! I should really branch out and try new places when i go to newmarket but i somehow always end up here. Their salsa is so delicious and i always order their chicken quesadilla. Also, their virgin sangria tastes so good.
Having been here on multiple occasions, they have never disappointed! Right from the servers to the food they serve, is simply outstanding. Have even brought our friends along as well and they all love it. Their Guac is just out of the world served with fresh, crunchy and toasty corn chips. Can’t get enough of the chicken chimichanga, highly recommend this place
Have come here twice, and have always been very pleased with the food and service.
The food is very tasty and definitely worth the price as the sizing is very generous!
Drinks are also great.
Would happy return 😊
I had the chicken fajitas which were fabulous, and unlike other reviews, our guacamole was really nice with lots of flavour. We were a walk in but there was plenty of room for us and we were seated immediately - the service was prompt but not so much so that we felt like we were being rushed through. I enjoyed the Wellington restaurant and its great to see this one was just as consistent. A frozen margarita is a necessity!
Everything about this place is fantastic.
The food is good...drink is good and the service is good..
Great for large group too..plenty of seating space n the deco is really nice, giving u a relaxing mood.
I been here a few times and i never feel disappointed.
A must place to go!
Ordered the Carne fajita it's really tasty! I have been to Mexico(the restaurant around Auckland) a couple of times never had any luck, just thought Mexican food was not my type. But this restaurant totally change my mind!
4 stars only because we waited more than half an hour for our food.
Great ambience, good food, friendly staff and reasonably fast service. We tried the chef’s special - fusion fajitas, kid’s menu - cheese and chicken & cheese quesadillas which comes with cheesy corn chips for starter, juice and ice cream. We had churros for dessert. The fusion fajitas had a combination of beef, chicken and prawns. It was very tasty with a little bit of a spicy kick. We loved it. The 4 soft flour tortillas may not be enough though. The corn chips were light and crispy. The churros were just ok. The staff was nice and they even lent us the sombreros when they took our photo. Good dining experience for us.
A bit slow to the chase but I finally got round to coming here. I recently went here for lunch with a bunch if people from work for a leaving function.
Upon arrival we were promptly sorted and let to make our very difficult decisions as to what to drink and eat. Everyone ordered fruit margaritas - strawberry, feijoa, passionfruit and guava. All were pretty full and well worth the $. Definitely going to go back during summer to get a refreshing one of these!
The food was amazing. I ordered fish tacos which were so flavourism but a bit tricky to eat. Other people I went with ordered pork enchiladas, chicken quesadillas and chimichanga mexicana in pork and chicken, everyone said their food was great too.
I have finally found somewhere just as good as the place I found in Queenstown - Wahoo!
First time I visited was using an Entertainment Book voucher. Since then, I’ve been back three more times. The food is delightfully tasty with just the right amount of heat. So glad to have discovered this place.
With so many mexican restaurants out There, I find it can be hit and miss getting the mix right when it comes to taste. Don't get me wrong, it's all about the whole experience and while the staff were friendly and helpful, some smiled some slightly brusque, I found the taste was average.
I had the salsa as a starter. Usual corn chips and a small dish of salsa. No what I would consider authentic salsa. Tasted more like tinned tomatoes with chili. The fajitas I had were tasty. Shame couldn't be said about the accompaniments. Pickled red onions tasted like they had been steeped in vinegar. The desert was odd to say the least. I had the cheesecake which had an odd texture. Overall my night was fun with my dining companions but I do feel there is better out there.
We popped in here before a movie last night and was disappointed which quickly turned itself around to be a lovely experience.
Ordered the quesadilla (entree) and the calamari (entree). Sadly the calamari was overly chewy and perhaps not very fresh. However after telling the server there, who completely understood he took it back and we changed it to the flautas - much like beef filled spring rolls. These were delish with the added spice condiments on the table.
Washed back with a jarritos cola and out the door for the movie all within 50 minutes.
Lovely staff, and we were not charged for the less than wonderful calamari (I only had one piece out of the 5).
An enjoyable experience, in the end.
Thank you
I love this place! Best Mexican restaurant in Auckland! No joke! The staff are amazing! The food is even more amazing! Great vibes! Always going back and always recommending to others!
Went in and were told about wing Wednesday which is two for 1. Finished off with quesadillas and pork tacos. Food had a nice spice with Good flavours
Quite possibly the best burrito i have tasted. Also, their queso is quite something and along with some corn chips, it's the perfect side to all the amazing dishes they offer. This place has the best service and cool vibes all round. A+
Place never fails. The Fajita meals are pretty good. The margarita pitchers are the way to go. Two people about $80 including drinks. Staff are friendly. Family friendly restaurant. Desserts are good as well.
Really good food and good cocktails must try for every one . Staff is also friendly ... I will be visiting again soon .. keep it up guys .. .
Always a great experience at Flying Burrito brothers!! This time we thought of visiting the newmarket branch and are pretty much satisfied with the service and the food is always awesome!! The best mexican cuisine I know of!!
We came here on a quiet Sunday night for dinner and cocktails. The passion fruit margarita was very tasty and we had guacamole to share. Loved the hand made corn chips. I ordered the chicken quesadillas were were lovely, however the price for the main was absurd. I could get the same amount of food at Mexico for half the price!
We came here Friday night and was blown away by the food. All of our mains were just delicious and have a spice kick to it which I love. For me it was perfect Mexican food. It was not super spicy that you can't handle it, but it was not bland either. Service was top notch too. I am definitely coming back for more.
Had a really fun dinner with my friends at this place, staff were really helpful. I only had something small chips and salsa which was $10 which was nice enough but probably not worth $10. My other friends ordered bigger meals which looked and tasted really good. Food aside one in our group was in a wheelchair and one big downside wasn't able to get through the front door so we had to eat outside which was not ideal since it was cold- they should really consider getting a portable ramp. Eventually we got inside through the back entrance (the staff didn't think about this initially) so staff should be informed of this back entrance in regards to disabled customers and some sign should be put on the front door, but really a ramp for the front door would be ideal so that customers in wheelchairs are not inconvenienced (since going through the back entrance takes much more time) and feel included.
I came here with my friends. I had fish tacos, they were hard to eat because they were too watery. They need to provide more serviettes. Other than that awesome service, nice food. The nice and clean. Would come again.
It was my friend's birthday so all four of us came here for lunch
Food: I ordered quesadilla with al pastor ($15). The other girls all got chocolate cake and a cocktail drink. Food came reasonably fast. Quesadilla was warm and still crispy. Just a little bit disappointed about the pineapple salsa coz I could hardly taste the pineapple (Perhaps I'm just a super big fan of pineapple)
Chocolate cake is a thick and rich mud cake. Ganache has a strong smell of cinnamon. It's really hard to get through the whole cake (food coma afterwards lol)
Didn't try the cocktails but friends all said it was a very balanced taste and nice
Service: staff were nice and even gave us the massive Mexican hats to take pictures!
Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5
$15 lunch deal is good:) will definitely come back again for lunch
They provide such a brilliant customer service. I really like their atmosphere. It is really organised and got the seating capacity inside and outside. The only thing that disappointed me is that their promo is coffee for $3 for the whole day while when I asked for it but they said the coffee machine is closed for lunch even when is was it in the afternoon.
We visited Flying Burrito Brothers over the weekend after reading the reviews. The restaurant is located in Newmarket and because we are early eaters finding some street parking was not an issue. We were greeted by a friendly staff members and were quickly escorted to our booth. The restaurant was not busy so we could pick where we wanted to sit :) The menu is pretty good and i was impressed with the number of vegetarian items. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 dessert to share among us (family of 3). The food id delicious but the portion size was not impressive, $14 for starters was a bit overpriced and $25 for their burrito was also a bit expensive. They had a dessert special where for $12 you got any two dessert from their menu. That was value for money. The churros and the chocolate cake very delicious. They have a impressive drink menu as well. We used the entertainment book voucher so in the end it all worked out well. In short good place, good food but a bit overpriced.
My work colleagues and I came here tonight (sorry no photos of my starter and main, only the alcoholic beverage lol)
I ordered guacamole which came with corn chips, which was vey nice, chicken tacos-also yummy and a pomegranate margarita.
The food was delicious highly recommend for gatherings or a date night!
Price wise was okay, cost me $44 all up so can't complain. Nice Mexican food 👍
This is a very nice Mexican restaurant. The fajitas are very tasty. In terms of atmosphere, they have some nice booths at the back and the music is excellent.
I absolutely love their chicken tacos! They are so delicious, I recommend trying out this restaurant! Good service and very delicious food, 10/10
Very good location, decor is really cute and fits perfectly with the menu. Staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.
With lunch deal at around $15, the flying Burrito Brothers offered super good value. The port was good. Food were tasty. Service was friendly and fast. Plus a relaxing oulook to the little park at the New Market. Nothing to complain about. All good.
Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. I love their decor consisting of Mexican movie posters, Mexican flyers and very ethnic trinkets. They also play Mexican music which was pretty awesome.
None of the staff were Mexican which was OK, but they seemed lacking any knowledge on Mexican food at all when asked about what the cocktail or meal actually consist of.
The food was delicious, so far I've tried their chicken salad, burrito, cheesy nachos and quesadillas. All were amazing. Their hot sauces were also pretty awesome, really loved myself some yummy spicy food. A must try for Mexican food lovers.
Wao, very surprised with this place! It was rather quiet so didn't think much about it. But we were greeted friendly and brought to our seats. There are nice booths out back! Lots of space, with bright Mexican Colours.
Food wise for two (sharing), we ordered a pork enchilada and a beef fajita. DELICIOUS. It was nice to share as the cheesiness of one dish complemented the Amazing flavours in the fajitas. It was so tasty I kept eating all the sauce even though I was so full.
The portions are big too. So thank goodness we didn't order an entree.
Was very happy after the meal :)
Also don't forget those margaritas.
Came here for a dinner last night for two. This place is great for a really filling meal. My friend and i ordered the taco de carne beef tacos 🌮 good portion size. I didn't enjoy it so much as it was too spicy for me but my friend loved them. I found the taco shell not crispy enough. The holy mole was average I didn't enjoy the flavor of the brown sauce it was cooked in. I will say the black beans are super tasty! We ordered churros for dessert even though we were super full. I thought they weren't fluffy enough and had too much cinnamon or some kind of spice on them. You could feel a burn for some reason. The chocolate sauce and cream went well, but ditch the strawberry sauce on the side 🍓 good place to visit if you have a coupon like we did
It's a pleasant place with good service and polite staff. The wait time is reasonable, and the food was great to my taste. Somehow it does not get as much crowd as Christchurch branch, but the menu and taste is the same. My favorite are the nachos, I order it every time I am there.
The Mrs and I tried this place recently. The food is phenomenal. It's also really nice for a dinner date with your lady/lad. Only issue I have is with the service but it's easy to overlook when their food tastes the way it does
We ordered mushroom quesadillas and chicken fajitas. Both of them are pretty good, but nothing to rave about. The price is pretty steep, given that the ingredients are not that expensive. Probably wouldnt have visited it if not for the 1-for-1 entertainment book voucher. The fajitas looks like the serving portion is big but there were only a few pieces of chicken. Its pretty much made up of bell peppers and onions
Dined here with my sister for lunch on Sunday. This eatery is nestled amongst a strip of restaurants & while some of the neighbors to the Flying Burrito Brothers were packed, there was nobody dining here. This made me think it may not be a wise choice to dine here, however my sister is a keen Mexican eater so we decided to give it a try. Let's just say it was worth the risk! They had a staff member standing near the door who greeted & seated us. We were given both the main menu & the lunch specials, there was an awesome variety of dishes which sounded delicious, but we both couldn't go past our Mexican fav chicken fajitas. The wait for food was reasonable & I liked the presentation of the fajitas. The chicken was well cooked, seasoned well with chipotle & there was cheese melted on top which we both thought was an excellent variation to most fajita dishes we have eaten. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals & left felling very full. The decor of the restaurant was quirky & fitting for a Mexican eatery, there were sugar skull pictures & candles with melted wax on the walls. The ambience was a little lacking, I guess since there wasn't many people around, but I think at busier time there would be an excellent vibe here. I would highly recommend giving the Flying Burrito Brothers a visit.
We ordered the corn chips, guacamole and habinero chicken for starters, they were so delicious and fresh, especially the guacamole which has to be one of the best out there. We also ordered a chipotle chicken burrito which was nice, but nothing special. Overall a great place to bring family for an authentic Mexican experience.
Good Mexican food restaurant, well displaced, good sizing
2 fajitas menu and 2 soft drinks for 65$nz
Nice place we ate outside with nice weather
Its great to have a restaurant like this in heart of Auckland excellent varity and delicious food true Mexican delicacy lot of varity for Vegetarians lovers, the bartender really made our evening with nice Cocktail and Mocktails my compliments to entire team of The Flying Burrito Brothers for making our evening Memorable........ must try place in Auckland
Work lunch with the amigos! As always with work sponsored events, it's imperative that you spend to your appetite's content.
Selected by popular demand at the office, our group ventured out in all of Auckland's summer glory. Ordering tacos, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, mexicain steak, and quesadillas, my colleagues and I were ready for a taste of Mexico.
The general consensus was that the meals tasted very fresh in the sense that the guacamole, salad, and fried pitas were all flavoursome. For those who had requested spice to be added, the heat was definitely felt.
Having preordered our meals beforehand, it was awesome that as soon as our bottoms hit the seats, we could smell our dishes being brought out from the kitchen. Having been the one who organised he orders, it should be noted that meals here are on the pricer scale for lunch dishes.
Showstopper: Freshness was emphasised and guacamole was highlighted by all.
Overall Grade: B+
There's something so fresh & tasty about Mexican food - so great to have this location in Nmkt. Hadn't been here for around a year, but decided it was the perfect place for an early dinner.
It was really quiet with only a few tables inside, but most of the outside ones full. They do have some great booth seats out the back too.
Service was good on our visit.
Part of my score relates to their cocktails which are great! We tried a virgin Colada, Pomegranate margarita, & my favourite the classic margarita on the rocks. Lots of sour lime balanced with all the other elements.
For our meals we each chose a Fajita (beef & chicken). The beef is a little spicy & the chicken more mild. Quite a big dish, but lots of fun building them how you like them.
We also grabbed some corn chips as they are so good - light & crispy.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Came for lunch today, we ordered a chicken burrito and Im actually not too sure what the sister ate;) The burrito was perfect, well made and tasty. My sister enjoyed he meal too and wants to go back...I must say I was a little disappointed at it states the the menu all mains served with a side of rice and salad...but no rice with the burrito? I understand there was rice in the burrito I just think it should be made clearer on the menu because to pay $25.00 for one averaged burrito and a small salad is a bit steep. Also extra sour cream is 5 dollars...Will come back though for a second round as food was very nice.
Firstly we were warmly welcomed to the flying burrito brothers new market by a nicely dressed waitress and the atmosphere was really nice feels like having food in Mexico. My family enjoyed the food it was really upto grate standard. The platings were really attractive hope the kitchen stuff is well trained. Also the coco loco and Aztec treasure the desserts which we had with my mates were cooked well and the cake was really soft. Had a grate time with my family and friends.
This was the second time i had mexican food but when comparing to the first one flying burrito brothers new market gave us superb service.auntree we orded chicken chimichanga and rellanos.just because my wife is vegetarian we orded mushroom qusidilla and light pork as the main to light pork was cooked perfectly and the sauce which use for the light pork was really tasty. As a vegetarian dish mushroom qusidilla was really nice and crispy. Overoll the food was nicely seasond and servrd hot. The place was nice and quit with nice mexican songs. I hope to visit flying burrito brothers new market again with my whole family. Enjoyed a lot
Last Wednesday me and four of My friends went for dinner at flying burrito brothers Newmarket. As the auntree we ordered chicken wings and CCQ the wings was really nice and crispy. As mains we ordered chicken burrito's and beef burrito's they were really tasty and we loved the food a lot and had a great experience about Mexican food.
It was our first time here.
We came around 5pm which there was plenty of table available, around 6pm the restaurant was full.
The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. We asked alot of questions as we weren't sure what to order and she guided us really well.
Very good portions
Great service
Good value
The meat in the meal was bit salty for us.
We went for lunch with family. Not being a huge Mexican fan, wasn't sure what to expect! Came out of this place, becoming a big Mexican food fan now :)
Loved everything we ordered- from starters to mains, presented beautifully. We started with Nachos and Guacamole followed by Home style nachos, Fajitas, Quesadillas (Mushroom Quesadillas are brilliant!), soft tacos and finished with desserts (mouth watering!)---was hard to decide which one was best- very authentic flavors and portion sizes are great. Unlike other restaurants .....has some great choices for vegetarians!
Staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, provided us advice on what to order. The restaurant has a very retro feel.
Must visit! Will surely be my favorite Mexican place now :)
We'd just finished fitness training and we were pretty hungry. Quick search of the Entertainment Book on the iPhone, and voila, The Flying Burrito just happens to be a few feet away!
Inconspicuous at night and not very well lit, this restaurant is wedged been others and doesn't stand out well. I let them...
I am particularly fan of Mexican Food and since the very first time I went I smiled from the first bite I got of the pork tacos lovely cooked and seasoned. The guacamole, the mole and a few other dishes we had were full of flavor and just the right amount on each serve. The manager and the waiter were very efficient and attentive!
We went there last night. We're greeted by a smiling face which is always welcome. Menus were promptly passed around and the specials explained at the same time. Drinks ordered and served without fuss. Then meal orders taken. We ordered a starter between us, chicken nibbles, and a main each, a burrito for me a fajitas for my wife. The starter arrived within 5 minutes are were delicious, I must say and plenty for two people. 5 minutes after our stater plate was removed, the mains arrived and wow the plates were huge, nicely presented and the food very tasty. Will definitely go back, maybe try lunch one weekend.
We decided to come here as we were seeing an early movie and needed a quick bite to eat.
Walking into an empty restaurant, you would expect the wait staff to pounce on you so they had something to do...unfortunately not. We ordered a carafe of red wine sangria (which took about ten minutes to be delivered) however it was worth the wait when it arrived.
Machos Nachos, Taco al Pollo, Tacos de Carne and the pollo fajitas caught our attention. Both the chicken and beef tacos were on point - what a great sized, well priced meal. Both tacos had the perfect amount of heat and were seasoned to perfection. The nachos left a bit to be desired with not much flavour. Fajitas was a huge meal but was flavoursome.
Overall a good place for a quick meal. Tacos were the top pick and all came in very reasonably priced.
I went with my friends during lunch on a work day. The place was kept with the Mexican theme. The staff was friendly, they took time to explain the dishes we were looking at and make recommendations. I ordered a fajita with prawns, my friends ordered a vegetarian chimichanga, tacos, hot chips and a chicken enchilada. The portions were quite large and filling. Good and fast service. Would definitely go again to try the other dishes.
I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican food but damn this place is good.
Had the pork enchiladas and omg soooo yummy!!!!! It came with a salad, Mexican rice, guac and sour cream. It was so good.
Also had the quesadilla which was just as good.
Had Wildberry (I think) margaritas and it was so good on a hot day. Will defs come again.
My boys are big fans of Mexican so I thought it was about time we checked this chain out as the reviews all seemed pretty positive..arrived for a 6:30 booking but was surprised to see how quite the place was (always a concern - neighbouring Archies was heaving...). My youngest had a kids meal, a simple tortilla chips and cheese combo entree, main of beef nachos and small ice cream/choc sauce to finish off; the eldest had a beef burrito (possibly a little too hot/spicy for his taste) and I the beef tacos, both sharing a churros desert at the end. Glad we didn't get entrees, the mains were good portions and I thought the tacos were very tasty and fresh - pleasantly surprised. Would definitely try this establishment again to check out the rest of the menu. Service was friendly and helpful.
This place is one of my favourites! I have been here several times and it never disappoints! Great service and authentic Mexican food and drinks. I strongly recommend the quesadillas!
Hands down the best Mexican I've ever had. For one moment it felt like I was sitting in Tijuana and not Auckland as the ambiance, music and service just takes you to Mexico. I tucked myself into a chicken burrito which was beyond perfect as the contents were really well balanced. The waitress was super friendly and she was from Mexico herself which just added to the whole Mexican experience. Loved the fact that you could also wear one of those Mexican hats which were at the counter and the waitress was friendly enough to lend us three. Interiors were superb with an obvious authentic Mexican touch to them. Finally topped off the mains with a cheesecake which again was simply fantastic.
This place needs more love!
Friend and I had a very satisfying feed here! We ordered the mixed platter of entrees, nachos and pork enchiladas to share. And sangria of course!
The portions were huge! Amazing food, the nachos were definitely the highlight, they separate the chilli mince mixture from the chips and the cheesy topping! SO GOOD!
Staff were friendly, and food came really fast! The price is great for the amount of food you get!
Definitely a place to try if you haven't already. The atmosphere of the place needs a little more oomph then it'll be perfect!
My wife had been to TFBB for a workday lunch and suggested we go along one weekend so we did. On entry I was impressed by the fit out, the restaurant looks very good with enough Mexicana to make it ambient but not over the top cheesy. She had fish street tacos, I went with the beef street tacos and the kids shared some nachos from the kiddie menu. The fish had a tasty rub on the surface and had a bit of heat without being too uncomfortable for those who don't like food too hot. If you want to ramp things up there are various hot sauces on the tables for the purpose. My beef tacos had slow braised beef inside, which was excellent. The beef was tender moist and flavoursome, it had a bit of char so i suspect it was quickly finished on a grill. The only criticism was the amount of filling. Ordinarily I never complain about too much filling but by the time I got to my second taco the soft shell was a soggy mess. Still, it is a small point. All in all I enjoyed my experience, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is cool. I found the food slightly down in level from Mexico, if I could give TFBB a 3.75 I think I would
My second visit here and the chimichanga is always a good idea. Excellent service, excellent food and great location. Best Mexican restaurant till date.
Not a lot to fault at this place. We went for a Saturday lunch and enjoyed everything. Probably the best Mexican I have had in Auckland. Portions are big as well. Great options for the kids. Staff were great and I would give a five for the service.
It's been a long time coming but finally made it to flying burrito brothers on a Tuesday night... It was quiet but friendly staff, food came quickly and delicious!
We had the adobo beef burrito and chipotle chicken burrito and both were tasty! Not as hot as you might expect (or it claimed) for those who love heat!!
But tasty and full of meat... The drinks look good here too!
Will definitely revisit and would recommend for a tasty low key meal!
Last night I had dinner with my partner at Flying Burrito Brothers and the experience could have not being better.
To start, the place is nice and very well decorated, it really makes you feel the vibe and you are in a special place.
Staff were very nice and friendly and very helpful when needed. The timing they had was great and they were attentive without being fake.
The food was excellent. Main dishes are really filling and full of meat and with lots of guacamole and sauces on the side.
I tried the enchiladas and both chicken and pork were delicious.
Dessert was very good as well and I almost could not finish after so much food.
The music really reminded me to restaurants when I lived in Mexico.
If you like Mexican food you will love this place!
Pretty tasty, and good portions, yet a little on the expensive side. My wife says the beef fajitas were A little greasy, but I enjoyed my prawn ones. The black bean dip was nice.
Fresh ingredients, love the zesty, spicy flavours. Had a fish taco "appetizer" but didn't have room for desserts after! The portions are generous, and great for sharing as tacos come in 2. The dessert menu looked amazing so might need a second visit for dessert alone! Seating is comfortable as we had 8 people in one booth, or they have smaller tables by the bar.
We went to The Flying Burrito Brothers on a Tuesday evening for a friend's birthday. We were a little sceptical about the place cause it was really quiet compared to the other restaurants around that area.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had around 15-17 of us and they got all our orders right. (Smart thing is that they took our names when ordering)
Food was delish, but was on the pricey side. Great atmosphere for group parties. We were given Mexican Sombreros to welar for the celebration. We had a great time there!
Gracias! :)
Staff were fantastic. Very personable, informative and friendly. Water was served immediately and we were asked a couple times how our meals were going.
Nice dim, intimate lighting.
Themed decor but not cheesey. I totally recommend a booth to sit in.
Very clean establishment, I watched some people leave and literally within 1 minute the table was cleaned by staff.
Pina coladas were quintessential and bang on!
Meals were very flavoursome and satisfying. Great Mexican flavours.
My meal literally came out steaming hot and bubbling, it was just outta the grill. Lovely effect.
Overall great if you want an authentic Mexican experience with an intimate setting, attentive staff and great tasting food.
Perhaps a little overpriced, but that would be my only criticism.
Just hopped in a late afternoon today at flying burrito brother newmarket
A place to be be at a lovely night was this.loved the atmosphere .Full on enjoyment music was bit different bt it felt soothing
Had couple of drinks ..was probably awesome
Food was unbelievable. .nice spicy food ...
And host staff wer all so lovely ..keep up will be back soon . Cheers
Excellent. I stopped in for lunch, I felt a little uncomfortable eating alone but the blonde waitress was very friendly. The Margaritas were delicious and the prawn fajita was yummy....I will be back.
Been curious about this place for a while now, decided to have lunch here today because my friend was craving Mexican food. At a snapshot the menu looks expensive. $14 for a guacamole + chips or $5 for a side of sour cream. That's ridiculous. Thank god for lunch menus, they offer most dishes for $15 in the lunch menu. My friend ordered the nachos and it was huge and filling, and ceviche to share. I ordered a enchilada but the waitress unfortunately got it wrong and eneded up getting tostadas. Despite this the food was good but nothing special. It didn't grasp my taste buds. A bit on the spicy side but, the m7 mocktail I got really helped with refreshing my taste buds. I think it's a bit on the exxy side and to compare with Mexico I would still prefer to go to Mexico. I would probably only come here for the lunch menu.
Food: 3.5/5
Drinks: 5/5 (my mocktail tasted like summer)
Service: 4/5 (friendly and attentive)
Atmosphere: 4/5 (outdoor seating was nice with a bit of shade)
Value for money: 2/5
Wow...heard of this place from long
Authentic decor and a night place to hang around wid a cozy sombrero and night cloud full blankets

We came here on a Monday and this place was absolutely empty! Had to check if it was even open. Obviously we were seated straight away and I ordered a passionfruit slushy margarita, so yum! Will defs get a jug next time. The extensive menu of mexican food was difficult to choose from as everything looked good so we asked for recommendations from our waiter, whi happened to be the manager. He really pushed the most expensive items and was too intense throughout our meal,I appreciate good service but this was too much. We settled on an enchilada and sizzling fajitas. Both came promptly and looked so good on the plate, fresh and full of colours. I loved that both came with all the trimmings; guac, chilli, black beans, sour cream snd more. The Enchilada was great, lots of flavour and plenty of cheese. The fajita chicken was deliciously flavoured but once the hot plate had cooled a bit,it was very oily. Also three tortillas was not enough considering the size of the meal. All was very well priced for what we got, and the decor is awesome. So while the food was mostly good, the service was too intense and let down the night a bit.
Chicken soft TACOS!! (Taco al pollo) Best dish I've tried here - gotta love that chipotle sauce! The chicken is succulent with just the right amount of spice! Sitting in the outdoor area when the sun is out is a real bonus, however sometimes the tables are a little cramped. This place is a little pricey compared to other Mexican competitors but I would return again
Why has no one brought up the fact that it costs $25 for a burrito at this place?! And $12 for a coffee???? I mean the decor is nice and it's a bigger and better burrito than you'll get at Mexicali fresh, but at the end of the day the raw ingredients are really just a fraction of what you pay, especially for a vegetarian burrito. Beans, rice, tortillas, tomatoes, roast pumpkin, that shit is supposed to be cheap! Food was good, service was good, vibe was good, but I don't think I'll return simply because this place is asking way too much.
I have been wanting to try this place ever since I first saw it had opened because of the legacy my Wellington friends have give it plus I love Mexican! We ordered guacamole to start which was delish! And then I had a chicken fajita, it was massive! I could have easily shared it with someone else. It came out like a platter so you made up the fajitas yourself which I love. If you were sharing it you would probably want to get more wraps as it only came with three small ones.
I've been to The Flying Burrito Brothers back in Christchurch and had a awesome time there, so I thought I'd at least try out the one in Auckland. I came here with two other friends for lunch one afternoon. We paid for our parking in the back streets, and walked in to get seated. There wasn't much customers, but staff were friendly and would greet you with warm smiles.
The waiter brought us to our seats (we chose to sit indoors in our own cubical) he even told us the specials for the day. We ordered our food which took about 5-10 minutes.
I ordered a Ancho Chilli Pork Enchiladas from the lunch menu and it was a good portion size for me paired with my Mexican soda. The waiter even came back to check to see if our food was alright.
Decor - if you like something with more light, try sitting outside or the front part of the restaurant. If you prefer more privacy, the back area is good, though its a bit more dimmed down.
Food//Price - For myself personally, I rather enjoyed the meal, I could even add my own sauces to make my food more spicy, the presentation was good, it wasn't just thrown on the plate and the price I paid for my meal was reasonable.
Service - The staff were all rather smiling and welcoming. Really friendly and helpful when it came to some questions about dishes.
Overall, I have a pleasant experience coming here for the first time :)
Good and tasty, a little expensive and hot means mild but my sangria was quite enjoyable and the setting was the right amount of Mexican. Perhaps good hangover food
Amazing meal! Very quick between ordering and delivery of food. The m-7 non alcoholic cocktail was amazing and would highly recommend. Even though the guacamole was a bit spicy it was very nice. Would highly recommend
My favourite food is and always will be Mexican so I may be a bit biased, but it was my first time trying a Fajita recommended by the waitress. I wanted to try something else other than the regular and I'm glad she recommended this for me because was AMAZING! You get to create/make your own burrito. The dish itself is pricey compared to other dishes (or other Mexican places) but it is definitely worth it as it has both quality and quantity. Fun but a messy experience. Excellent interior design. Friendly service. This place is the definition of 'What you get is what you paid for.' I would definitely go again. The only reason why my rating is 4.5 is because of the price of the menu. The taste is definitely a 5 out of 5.
A group of friends and I were initially planning on going to Burger Burger for dinner, but as usual they were incredibly busy and we decided to hunt around. We found the Flying Burrito Brothers and thought the menu didn't sound too bad.
We found there was plenty of seating, especially if you have a larger group. Similarly the waitress we had was very attentive.
The food was great! Quite authentic and tasty Mexican, nothing like Mexicali Fresh which is like the McDonalds of Mexican food. I had the Taco al Pollo and the Taquitos de Pollo and both were excellent. Being a coeliac I requested that both be gluten free and it wasn't an issue at all!
I arrived around 2pm and there was not very busy...restaurant environment is very cozy and a bit dark...I ordered a Mexican enchiladas with chicken fillings, served with spicy rice, fresh salads, mushy avocado, sour cream and baked tomatoes...very tasty
After seeing a Grabone deal, my sister and I were excited to try out Flying Burrito Brothers - it looked really interesting, plus we both love Mexican food!
We arrived quite late on a Wednesday night, around 8pm (Broadway movies just around the corner), but thankfully I called the restaurant earlier just to confirm their kitchen would still be open then - yes and we didn't have to book - they said there would be plenty of seating!
First thing that caught my eye was definitely the décor/design of the place! I LOVE skulls and they were everywhere, from skull heads on tequila bottles to art on the wall, so I was in absolute heaven! The restaurant also had hanging lights, colourful outdoor seating, a full bar complete with frozen margarita machines and a range of Mexican hot sauces on each table!
Another cool aspect was the menus. The 'Comida' (food) menu was broken down into different categories - small bites, tacos, tortilla dishes, fajitas, big bites, desserts and kids meals. This was great because it was easier to decide and all the meal descriptions were really clear. Also, at the back of each menu, there is a 'Glossary', so if you're unsure about something on the menu, you will find it here. I have never seen this on a restaurant menu, so thought it was awesome!
For mains, we ordered the 'Macho Nachos' ($16, with their homemade chilli con carne, braised beef, black beans, jalapeno chilli, cheese and served with corn chips) and the 'Pollo Chimichanga Mexicana' ($25, with a flour tortilla filled with cheese, chicken, rice and served with a slaw). Firstly, the nachos. Usually when you order nachos, it's the corn chips on the bottom and the fillings on top. However, the fillings were served separately to the corn chips, which we thought was odd. The Mexican chicken tortilla was interesting as well. Just reading the menu now, I think they got my order wrong - this was meant to come with rice and slaw, but I didn't receive any rice, just black beans. So confusing!
We both agreed that the food didn't taste fresh. My sister's corn chips were stale, my burrito base too tough to cut into and the chicken mixture not fresh. I had read a review about this restaurant on another site and the reviewer had asked to have one of the burrito fillings changed, but the waitress replied saying they prepare all the items and fillings in the morning - so this might be the reason (food sitting around for 8 hours!)
Having said that, both meals were tasty and had a really good spicy kick to it!
Overall, it's a pretty cool concept - tasty Mexican food and nice surroundings. I don't know if I would come back for dinner, but I would definitely bring my friends and have a tequila night - they have so many to choose from!
It was our wedding anniversary and feeling something mexican. My husband did not want to go too far so we opted to eat here. Was not disappointed. Food is very good. And very generous portions as well! Awesomely friendly staff and helpful, responding to our questions uncomplainingly, and we had a lot of questions! This made our night really special! Thanks guys!
Had lunch here, awesome restaurant, great sangria, beef burrito one of the best that I have ever had! Great value for money and fresh, great tasting authentic Mexican food, we will defiantly be back!!
Time and date : weekday dinner
Food ordered: beef fajitas, pork taco, stuffed jalepeno
Ingredients: fresh vegetables and decend quality meat
Taste: Complex level of flavor for both taco and fajitas; well balance between heat and flavor with the stuffed jalapeno
Authenticity: Never been to Mexico so no comments on this
Environment: The place is well decorated, not as hard core as Mexico cafe but definitely not as westernized as Mexicali
Service: Extremely friendly
Cost: $40 per person
Will I return : definitely
Additional Comment: I have been to the same shop at Tauranga and Wellington. Will say that all three are very different and all three are very unique
Great service, fast and delicious. Two of us shared three bites dishes and was plenty of food at a reasonable price. The margaritas are Devine!
Been once. Very generous with their serving sizes. Real authentic tasting food and super good value for money. We were seated and served really quickly by our waiter and checked up on throughout our dinning time. Would definitely recommend and most certainly will visit again.
We came here at Saturday lunch time. We thought it'd be hectic there around that time, given it's located in the heart of New Market. Instead,it had plenty of seating,so we popped up without making a reservation.
I ordered fajita with sliced beef, which came with a very interesting combination, as per picture shows below. The fajitas might be small, smaller than my hands, but overall quite tasty. My bf ordered flying burritos with chicken fillings, which he had previously had in Wellington branches and had been so in love with. I had a few bites and god it's really worth trying!
I also tried their Mexican hot chocolate to warm myself as it was chilli outside. It was nice, not outstanding though.
Went there for lunch with a grabone voucher. Ordered a chipotle chicken burrito and pulled pork tostada. Good portion sizes and service excellent!
The burrito was good but the filling was a little bit too cheesy. Comes with a salad, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Salsa could do with a little bit more onion but has a nice peppery flavour. I found the guacamole average as the avocado they used tasted a bit off (not off, but I felt the avocado they used might have gone soft and mushy as opposed to fresher ones)
The pulled pork tostada is very good however! Will be going back!
Excellent Fajita.. with good sides. Tacos weren't that bad too. Staff was friendly but the waitress accidentally dropped some food on my jeans.. so not very impressed on that.. was apologetic though. Negative point is for that.
I would still come back
It's great to have a Mexican restaurant fairly local to us. The food is really enjoyable and the ambience funky!
Parking in Newmarket can be difficult at the best of times, but if you're prepared to pay for it, there is a parking building right across the road.
We're looking forward to going back and trying more items from the menu!
I bought a grabone voucher to dine here for dinner. I love Mexican cuisine and so I had high expectations headed here. My brother ordered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito and I had a Chimichanga Chicken tortilla. Both were exquisite! The dishes were flavoursome and very fulling. They were neatly wrapped and chicken cooked and shreded inside the wrap. There were no ugly chunky dry pieces.
Definitely not a cheap eat but works well as a treat once a while
Recommend this to all
Been here a few times in the past couple of months and the food has always been great. Usually get the margarita of the day and the pitcher although small, easily fills up 2-3 glasses.
Coming to the food, chicken wings are really good and they come with a a spicy dip. Very tasty. The stuffed jalapeños are good too but 3 for $14 are a bit pricey.
The tacos are amazing. Tried the pulled pork and chicken ones and both were nice with plenty of meat and very flavourful. 2 are enough to fill you up, especially if you've had an entree. Other things that I've tried from the menu are the chicken enchiladas, vegetarian enchiladas, chicken quesadillas and the fajitas. No complains anywhere. Portion size and taste both satisfactory.
The place is generally very busy on the weekends but service is still very attentive.
Popped in after movies had pollo tacos my husband had burritos. I also had a glass of sangria it was delicious and service was quick and attentive. A definite return for us. We love Mexican and this measured up!!!
I came here in a large group to enjoy some Mexican food after a hot day, and starting with their virgin mojito style cocktail, I was already having a good time. Drinkwise we also tried the white sangria which was light and refreshing and gave at least 2 full glasses for 3 people.
We were then given a tasting board of their starters (bocaditos) to share around whilst we all were introduced to one another. Highlights for me included the Jalapeno Relleno (corn crusted jalapeno) as well as the Quesadilla De Queso, a delicious cheese, chilli and coriander quesadilla which went perfectly with their fresh tomato salsa. The highlight of this platter was the hot spicy cheese dip, Chilli Con Queso.
For mains we tried a burrito, an enchilada, a fajita and the mushroom quesadilla. Being vegetarian, the quesadilla was the main one I tasted but it was delicious, cooked to perfection and came with generous amounts of guacamole, sour cream and salsa.
For desert we tried the Banana Chimichanga, tortilla wrapped fried banana served with ice cream and cinnamon sugar. Good but in my opinion, not as good as the Churros which came with three different dipping sauces. Yum.
Great fun in a group with lots of sharing options but also some generous mains, this would be great for a work do or small function. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Also there is parking in the building just opposite which is super handy.
Brilliant restaurant with a lovely ambiance. Love the burrito and the tacos specially. Large potions do not leave you hungry at the end of your meal. Good selection of starters and the cock tails are particularly good. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who miss good quality Mexican food away from home.
We came here for a Zomato meet up on Wednesday night and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was open and spacious, not too hot despite the sticky Auckland weather and the staff were friendly from the moment we walked in.
The decor is really nice with sugar skulls, sombreros and warm colours everywhere.
We had a sampler platter with five options to start with. This included dips, corn chips, chicken roll ups, chicken wings and an assortment of other nibbles. I loved the chicken wings and would order them as main they were that good.
The mains were definitely big enough. I would probably order the chicken burrito and share it with someone next time as it was that big. I'm not big into fajitas but they smelt good. The chicken enchiladas were a bit of a let down, not as flavourful as the other dishes and not as satisfying.
For dessert there were churros and banana chimichangas. I loved the banana chimichangas and although the churros were tasty, they were very sugary.
We also ordered a pitcher of white sangria for 4 of us. We had around 3 glasses each and it was really good value. The flavours were lovely and not too overpowering.
Overall I really enjoyed our visit and would definitely visit again to try a few more things off the menu.
I went on a beautiful Tuesday evening dinner with approximately 11 of my friends. We had made a booking an hour beforehand and chose to be seated outside.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted and seated. Majority of us ordered drinks and I ordered Honey Delight. The drink really brought delight to my taste buds and it is highly recommended for people who prefer the non-alcoholic beverages and who likes sweet drinks.
Few moments later, a waitress came to take our menu. There was a 2 for 1 deal written on their board outside that evening for their Enchiladas. We hadn't known the deal was on so only one person from the group had ordered it. I think I would have considered it if I had known. However, I was happy with what I have ordered. I ordered Chimichanga de pollo. I liked the tinge of spiciness of the chicken in my Chimichanga, the black beans and the salad. The mixture of flavours were very well harmonised. I was full and very pleased.
I was also pleased with the level of customer service they provided. The waitresses came up to ask how the meal was throughout, but not to the extent where we were feeling annoyed. Later we were asked if we wanted dessert and were told they had a half price special for their Aztec Treasure which many of us had ordered. It was a dense chocolate cake and it came with cream and vanilla ice cream. I recommend when they bring out the chocolate cake to heat it up for about 20 seconds to make it more soft because I found it quite dense. But that's just my preference.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience, the ambience and service they provided. A recommended place for a dates or even a large group of friends.
I have been to the Wellington branch a few times and loved their mexican food eventhough it is a little pricey. I was so excited when I got to know FBB was coming to Auckland. I saw a deal on grabone, and I got it without a second thought. I went there a few days ago with a friend and I ordered quesadilla de pollo. It was good, a little more sauce would have made it better. We got the chocolate cake for dessert, the cake was a little dry.
Besides that, the atmosphere was good even though it got a little noisy because of the crowd. The service was really good as the staffs kept on checking on us whether we were looked after or not. They were so welcoming and nice.
Would definitely return for the mains and maybe not the dessert.
Went there with a grabone voucher to celebrate for its grand opening on a sat lunch. We really enjoyed our experience. Nice atmosphere and decor. We ordered tacos, chicken digits and beef digita. Presentation for the dishes was a WOW. The tacos were nice, and the beef was tasty and had plenty of meat. But I think the only down side for me was that the chicken fijita had very little chicken in it and it was very oily. The price for the figitas were also very high since that it probably has the same amount of ingredients as the tacos... I'd rather get the tacos next time. Over all we really enjoyed.
Awesome! Had a 'opening special' from Grabone.. really enjoyed the decor, atmosphere and service. Food was great and dessert was yummm! We ordered a 'pitcher' and mexican soda which was perfect with the meal. Will most certainly be back!
This is an awesome addition to New Market!
If your on the lookout for a new-school mexican restaurant with great service, awesome food and some pretty wicked drinks then this is your new hotspot.
My partner and I started off with the Nachos & cheese to share and this was nice to have while enjoying one of the best margaritas ive ever had! The cheese comes in a nice little serving pot that had been in the oven and it was delicious. We both reallye njoyed how it had a slight undertone of chilli to give it a bit of a kick. I think this would be too much to have just by yourself, definately recommend to share it (so you have more room for dessert!!!)
For mains, I ordered the Abode Beef Flying Burrito - in fact, iver been here and the Albany branch three times in the last week and had this each time because it is soo damn good. I liked hiw it was stacked up with meat and its a decent sized burrito. Often when I go elsewhere for mexican food I find there is never much meat in the dishes so I was very impressed with Flying Burrito Bros! The Flying burrito is apparently one of their most popular dishes and at a mere $25 I am not surprised. Its really good value for money and they do not skimp out on the sides such as avocado which is great considering avo is so expensive in shops at the moment!
My partner usually orders the chicken fajitas or Tacho Salad. The fajitas come served on a hot plate in a wooden serving paddle and is accompanies by a variety of sides which were all nice. You wrap up your own fajitas which is quite enjoyable and the serving paddle looks brilliant with all the food on it! ( When you go there you see half the restaurant taking photos for facebook or instagram!)
The Tacho salad is nice too, good if you are not wanting a really heavy meal. The tacho bowl has a nice taste and is always crispy and yum. The serving size of the salad and meat was decent & you never feel like you have been ripped off with any of the dishes here. Taste wise, my partner always raves about the tacho salad here, I tried some of hers once but it was after a few too many margaritas (im not irresponsible, they are just so damn good - you will see what I mean when you go there) so unfortunately I cant remember how the tach salad tasted)
The desserts are out of this world. Seriosuly. They are soo good that you dont mind looking greedy when you smash back a massive slice of chololate cake with icecream or eat all your churos in a matter of seconds! I came here a couple of times before ordering dessert, it was only until I went here with a firend and when i saw their desserts arrive I felt as if I was missing out big time so I jumped on the bandwagon and smashed back a few more calories than necessary but it was so worth it.
Chocolate cake here is nice and moist and has a great tate to it. The icecream it came with had an interesting taste but complemented the cake well. The churos are delicious, when they arrive nice and hot its hard to even wait a second for them to cool down before they go down the hatch - once again you will see what i mean when you go there !
Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the flying burrito brothers. Its great as I live in Albany and work in the city so im close to both of the locations. I think this business will do very well here in Auckland as they have a passion for the food they serve and dont try to stitch you up with small servings - Trust me you will never leave here still feeling hungry.
On average we spend about $35-$55 per head which is on the steeper side of things but then we do usually have a shared starter, mains each, desserts each or shared and then a few drinks so I dont feel that its too expensive for what you get.
I do feel that a couple of the staff should be a little bit more enthusiastic. Some of the waitresses seemed a bit un-interested and their tone and attitude made it seem as if they had just been chopping wood all day - their job in comparison isnt difficult at all so I feel this is an area which needs to be improved. As a new restaurant I feel staff should be exceptional so that people have the most amazing experience possible - this is the time to make it or break it as a restaurant owner and good service will have even more people raving about the place.
Overall, very impressed with both locations. Great food, good service overall (bar one or two of the girls) and top notch drinks!
I hope other people check this place out and have a great experience as we have had several times recently. Certainly a restaurant not to be missed.
Also, if your an instagram maniac you may want to get your cool photos at this place sooner rather than later before everyone else beats you to it!!!
The food is always amazing, we always whole buy the whole menu and never can get enough. The service is really good sll the workers are always so nice, but Tanya is the best. She makes the best drinks and is super warm and friendly. We love her 🩷
The major highlight at this establishment is undoubtedly the ambiance. Despite the small dining area, the place exudes a cozy charm that makes it a perfect setting for a relaxed night out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the intimate space adds to the overall comfort.
A special mention for their friendliness. Their welcoming attitude added a pleasant touch to the evening, making us feel well taken care of throughout our visit.
We found the seating arrangement a bit awkward for group gatherings. The small space might not be ideal for people looking for a more spacious setting.
A place worth considering if you prioritize ambiance and a laid-back vibe. Ideal for a casual evening with friends or a small gathering, I'd rate it a 4/5 for the overall enjoyable experience.
This Mexican restaurant was a real joy to find. Sunny aspect and well sheltered from the winter weather.
I stopped here for lunch after some business meetings and retail therapy.
The Al Pastor Tacos & Rosado made a great combo.
The chilli in the taco was a little over the top. Just a squeeze of lime juice was required to make it muy bien.
Nice to have a place like Flying Burrito Bros to relax. 4 🌟 from me.
Had an absolutely great time at the long loco lunch! Our server was friendly and attentive. The corn chips were incredible and the black bean dip is to die for!
A very classy authentic Mexican restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you.
I took at first a Nachos, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of the local red wine. Somewhat surprising, it does not taste like anything I have already drunk, but I kinda liked it.
Then I took chicken Fajita with house made Chipotle sauce (!). No word to say that it was awesome.
The service always with a smile and very patient with us.
Conclusion, if you have the opportunity to go eat there, do not hesitate !
Had an awesome time, staff were so lovely and accommodating. Even coming out with Sombrero whilst singing happy birthday for my daughter. That was a lovely suprise.
No words can describe it. We've been about 5-6 times now. Amazing food, great service, fantastic experience every time! You will definitely keep seeing us!
This was a good experience! Food was absolutely tasty leaving you wanting more. Which is a good thing at the same time meaning we didn't order enough. Besides the small portions I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as the service was great and the waiter always asked how we were and our son who was with us. All in all will return 🥳
Really excellent place to eat. Great speedy service. Had my birthday dinner there with 7 of us Sat night. Food and service superb. I had the beef fajita, other friends the burrito, quesadilas, enchiladas, nachos all great meals and topped off with a tasty dessert. Parked in Broadway parking station. Definitely would go again and recommend.
First time eating at this place. Thought the layout was nice and clean, good ambience with chill Mexican music in the background. Staff was pretty welcoming, might need to smile a little bit though, but they were all good. Food came out quick (not too busy when we got there) and tasted good! I can remember the names of all the dishes but there were jalapenos, chicken, ceviche, nachos, soft tacos and quesadillas. Tasty Mexican spices and extra hot sauce on the side. Personally thought it was little on the high side price wise but would go back again.
I had a great time eating delicious Mexican food for the first time in Auckland. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly specially TANYA who helped me find the best choice of dish from the menu. The atmosphere was awesome .Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great!
Definitely recommend
How wonderful it is to find your new favourite restaurant. From the moment we entered the welcoming and warm vibe was apparent. We were seated in the group tables at the back that are vibrantly decorated and gives a taste of Mexico. The servers were absolutely amazing, a great asset to the restaurant. They are professional and very personable. The food was exquisite, you can really taste all the wonderful flavours and spices. Would definitely recommend the fajitas! It comes out on a sizzling skillet and is definitely a show stopper. Amazing restaurant that ticks all the boxes!
Honestly what an amazing night. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was too.
Would recommend 10/10
Did the bottomless brunch. We all had the nachos which were yum. Drinks were good too! Sangria, Tiger beer and Tequila sunrise. Paid 64.99 pp for 1.5hr sitting. A bit on the expensive side but made sure we had our money's worth in drinks. Would come back here for sure.
I came with a group of friends for bottomless for the first time and it was so amazing. Drinks were “buenísimos” (very good) service was so fast and food was same as Mexico. This remember me the the days of when I was in Mexico. Will definitely be back with my Latin group 😍
The family had a great dinner. Service was good if a bit confused at times. Atmosphere was pleasant but not a real Mexican vibe compared to other Mexican can places.
