This was one of my more recent zomato gold food adventure. I ordered the scrambled smoked salmon and my boyfriend got a BLT. Both was exceptionally delicious and in my opinion, quite value for the price that we paid. Although I don’t live in east auckland, I can definitely see myself coming back here for another awesome sunday brunch :)

Strategically located cafe/restaurant for a nice brunch/lunch in busy industrial area of East Tamaki. I highly recommend their beef lemongrass salad and the fettuccine carbonara from their main menus, plus their couscous salad and beef noodle from the display table.
Food and drinks arrived promptly, and cooked perfectly - so delicious! Wonderful customer service and reasonable prices 😊

Great environment and atmosphere as soon as you enter. Everything is reasonably priced and there isn't a long wait on food! Blueberry pancakes were a great mix of tart and sweet, and the chorizo with potatoes was tasty and filling Will definitely be coming back!

Great service from the ladies at the front counter. Used Zomato Gold for this meal with no hiccups. Food came surprisingly fast given how busy the place was (under 10 mins). We got the steak, carbonara, and calamari salad all of which was nicely seasoned and delicious. Incredibly impressed with this place and will definitely be bring my friends next time.

I loved the grilled calamari salad, it was well seasoned, the calamari wasn’t too chewy, there was an abundance of calamari which was great. Absolutely perfect for a hot spring day.
The chorizo and roasted potatoes were delicious as well. The flavours packed a punch and was a fulfilling dish.
I was surprised that all their dishes seemed to be priced a bit lower than other cafes, which makes it even more value with Gold.
Came here because of zomato gold. First time was during a weekday and it was super busy. The second time was during the weekend, it was still full but less busy compared to weekdays. This place has a nice courtyard setting with comfortable indoor seating as well.
The food quality is good both times I came. The portions lean on the small side for the meals I chose. If it wasn’t for zomato gold then it will end up pretty pricey for an average portion meal.
Coffee here is very average, I wouldn’t recommend their coffee.

This place was packed when we dinned in for a late brunch on Sunday. We ordered the Veggie breakfast and the Pesto portobello mushroom. The veggie breakfast was a good portion and had all the good stuff - halloumi, spinach, tomato, poached eggs, toast.. the only thing it was missing in our opinion was was avo! The portobello mushroom (two to be exact) was on the smaller side portion wise.. and it didn’t have as much pesto flavour as I thought. However the mushrooms were cooked well and the hollandaise sauce made the dish - served with two poached eggs, hash browns and spinach.
The service was ok. But hard to judge on just one visits as they were busy - they were unable to check up on us and food service was slow. Worth checking out if your on zomato gold as it works out to be really good value and also the French toast looked really good, I’d get that next time if we visited again!

The food was delicious and every single dish was so flavourful, but the fettuccine carbonara was a little on the salty side. The portion sizes were average and the service was great considering how busy they were.

A very cool cafe at a not so cool suburb. In the middle of factories and businesses this is a great place to grab a bite or coffee.

Absolutely loved this place! Staff were so kind and friendly and the cashier was so patient even though I kept mucking up my pin number about 3 times. I ordered the brioche french toast and requested if the bacon could be switched to fruit, my partner ordered the salmon & eggs benedict and we both ordered chai for our drinks. The food was delicious! Great ambience, would definitely return again.
Food was extremely delicious and very generous sizes,I had the 777’s breakfast and my daughter had the brioche toast which she loved. It was very busy when we arrived on a Saturday which was also a good sign that they were good. We came because of Zomato gold and we will return 👌🏼

Got the cloud 777 breakfast and the French toast with bacon! Presentation was top notch, nice sweet French toast which didn’t even need the maple and really lovely caramelized banana. Only criticism would be the bits of colored popcorn around the dish. While they looked appealing, mixed with the maple got soggy and tough to eat. Also would’ve preferred if the banana skin wasn’t on the plate. The big breakfast could’ve done with a bit of salt or seasoning but overall they were pleasurable to eat! 😋
Loved the courtyard area with the greenery! We ordered the Chorizo and Spud Crush and the Grilled Chicken Burger - both of which were full of flavour. There was nothing to fault really except the spuds were on the greasier side if I was being extremely picky. The chicken burger was juicy and the presentation of the meals made them look even more appetising. Would love to come back and try more items on the menu!

Tried their pesto portobello mushroom, steak burger and iced chocolate. The iced chocolate came in a takeaway cup which seemed a bit strange and had a lot of ice cubes in it. The burger was nicely cooked and the mushroom has a good portion
What a great little spot. We got the eggs benny and mushroom on toast. Eggs cooked to perfection with perfect liquidy yolk. Creamy mushroom was a winner for me. The portion and price are very reasonable. You can tell by the quality that they put quite a lot of care in each dish. The decor is also nice and not what you’d expect from the outside. So glad we found this place in the middle of the industrial East Tamaki. Will definitely return.

Amazing value for money. Nice atmosphere and vibe in the cafe. Little bit noisy outside since it’s situated in an industrial area. Filling breakfasts. Cloud 777 breakfast was good, could do with a relish or something as it was a bit dry. Really good value than most other big breakfasts. Chorizo, eggs, spinach and potato thing was sooo good, that had a relish which was delicious. Coffee 👌🏻 Tumeric latte 👎🏻 a bit watery and sugary. Afghan was delicious, good amount of walnuts on top. Also ordered a berry naked cheese cake but we ate it before I remembered to take a photo. Yum! 👍🏻

Discover this place from Zomato Gold. A hidden cafe within an industrial area. The latte was average, there is so much foam that it’s nearly a cappuccino. However the food was good. The Benedict was just right.
I drive pass this place at least 2 to 3 times a week and never noticed it's existence. Dined here for the first time today and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere, very relaxing which makes it the perfect getaway place for lunch during busy workdays. Most importantly is the food, the scrambled egg with salmon i ordered had the eggs done perfect, and the mango smoothies is really nice and refreshing too.
My first experience with using zomato gold and an extremely pleasant one at Cloud 777 cafe - quality of food was not compromised at all despite it being a discounted meal; I had the Vege breakfast and the mushrooms were seasoned very nicely, coffee was great and the portion sizes generous. Will be back to try other items on their menu!

A nice little cafe tucked away in an otherwise industrial area, it was a bit of a wait just to get a table, it was so busy. The mince on toast wins no awards for appearance, but was full of flavour and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. They serve delicious coffee too. Will definitely be back. Recommended.

I ordered the chorizo mash up was so delicious except one over cooked egg. kind of a pet peeve thus a 4 not 5. but we did have 15 other breakfast order so very understandable. would def come back!

I drive past this cafe everyday and finally got the chance to try it today with my husband. The cabinet foods are very impressive , everything seems to be good! We ordered a coffee,half roast beef/ Caesar salad and the pulled pork eggplant with orzo salad. They were amazing ! And the staffs served our food and coffee within 5 minutes ! Highly recommend this cafe!

Was looking for a place to have breakfast this morning as I happened to be in the area, and came across this cafe on Zomato, so decided to give it a go.
The outside looks unassuming, and its situated next to a couple of auto shops so not exactly glamorous, but parking was sufficient.
Inside however is different, the atmosphere and abience is warm and welcoming, with nice simple decor.
I ordered a salmon eggs benedict, at $17.50.
Dish arrived in a timely manner after about 5-10 minutes, and I was super impressed. The mushrooms were perfectly grilled, the hollandaise sauce looked homemade and had what looked like wholegrain mustard to make it even more unique, eggs were hot and perfectly poached, spinach was cooked just right without the stringy stems left on, and the foccacia bread that it was served with was delicious.
Loved every bite of it and portion size was generous. What I liked most however was that it was a different take on the traditional eggs bene, with the addition of mushroom and their special hollandaise sauce, and the herbed foccacia bread was the perfect accompaniment to this dish.
Can't comment on their hot beverages as didn't order coffee, but they did have chilled water available for customers to help themselves to.
Not to mention the staff were friendly as expected and acknowledged customers as they left.
Would definitely come back again- just a shame that they're so far from where I live but for the locals, I highly recommend the eggs bene dish.
Great little cafe. Husband and I met up for lunch before heading back into work. Greeted by smiling staff, very friendly and answered lol our questions with ease. Cabinet food looks good. I had corn fritters with bacon sour cream a chutney and salad chefs special today, nice and hot, seafood chowder, delicious and husband had pesto portobello mushrooms, and my soy latte... A great lunch experience, the only thing was the coffee, not enough caffeine for me but still drinkable and nice and hot! Not a lot of parking but I managed to find one. Thank you Alisha's cafe for a great first time dining experience here. I will be back to try other delicious things. Value for money? Yes! Awesome servings! Well done!

Arrived around 10am this morning for my first visit to this cafe. It's quite unassuming from the outside but the inside is very pleasant. The staff were busy sprucing up the interior including vigorous polishing of the two huge mirrors on the wall.
There were lots of very interesting salads already in the display cabinet. I tried the caramel chocolate slice and had a double latte. The coffee was unexceptional and the slice was as expected. I'd come here again to try the salads.
I have had some salads from Alisha's but have not yet been to the cafe. The chicken and pearl salad was delightful and something different which is always good. I took some to work the next day and had it for lunch. It gave me energy for the rest of the day which doesn't always happen when you have a salad for lunch ! I look forward to visiting in person soon !

I am very new to the whole review thing, but figure I will give my first one a go on Alisha’s Café in East Tamaki, as I appear to find myself there at least 2 times a day.
Hygiene/Cleanliness:
First of all the standards of cleanliness are very impressive. The cold cabinet and cake cabinet are routinely cleaned (I witness this allot), to the point where there is not even a finger print on the inside or outside of these (apart from the odd child who comes in, but that is not the staffs fault. The floor always looks sparkling, considering the amount of running around staff do to deliver meals to tables. Being a bit OCD, I have occasionally popped my head to look into the kitchen, where once again, work stations and benches look great and properly wiped down. No one likes to think about cross contamination, so this concern is certainly alleviated to me.
The other key note, is that the staff behind the coffee station are constantly wiping it down, when specs of milk from the froth splatter. Once again this is a little issue I have.
Setting/aesthetics:
Considering it is a small place, they have managed to fit allot of tables without making it appear cramped or cluttered. From the tables I have sat at (I highly recommend the ones along the walls as they are very comfy, but alas, everyone else seems to see my point of view as well), they do not have that annoying wobble which some venues have. Obviously this is highly annoying when having a meeting with paperwork, and coffee or drinks get spilt over everything. Not a concern here. The cabinets look GREAT. The food is always looking incredibly fresh, without spillage onto the base of the food cabinets, and I find myself drawn to the font they chose for the menu. Yes I am a bit strange.
The outdoor area (2nd best place to sit if you can get a spot) is great as well. The tables give it an almost “I am relaxing in my backyard” feeling. In short it is certainly not a sterile environment when there, hence why I am quite comfortable conducting work at this establishment.
Originally there was frustration due to the lack of parking (this is after all a very popular place), but this has been greatly extended in recent times.
Food:
To me this is naturally the most important thing.
Salads….. As a meat eating bloke, who sticks his nose up at the thought of eating salads, this is the total surprise. They are phenomenal. As with the previous paragraph, they are aesthetically appealing, bordering on mouth-watering (yes…. Me calling a salad mouth-watering…… this feels like a crime….). Flavour is certainly not a concern and freshness is always there. Even the greens in the salad have the unmistakeable crunch as a sign of freshness, unlike the texture of greens which have obviously been left in a fridge for a few days. The strawberry and beef salad (when available) is a must try, and totally shocked me when I tried it. the flavours worked great together.
The icing on the cake would be the burgers though. Particularly the Gourmet Chicken Burger. The meat is always tender and not overcooked or dry in any way. The buns are great too. Alisha’s has not taken their burgers to the point of “let’s put everything on it and hope for the best”, and kept it simple which is great. The chips are always crunchy and do not have that flavour of over-used oil which is also great to see. I do tend to find myself ordering extra aioli as well, as it is practically its own food group.
The Eggs Benny is also a great way to start the day. The hollandaise sauce is fantastic, and not once have I experienced the dreaded over cooked poached eggs. Over poached eggs is a ratings killer for me.
I have also taken the liberty of ordering catering salads for a function at home recently. Both were big hits with my mates, and eventually I had to confess that I did not make them myself. Presentation for the catering salads were on proper plates and not in awful foil trays, and they were certainly value for money.
Coffee:
The true reason I frequent this place so much. I will keep this criteria very short.
- Never have I had it burnt. If you know coffee you certainly know that awful after taste once the beans have been cooked so much;
- Temperature of the coffee is always to my liking…. Not too hot not to cold;
- The beans used are also very nice;
- They mix the sugar into the coffee so you do not end up with the last few mouthfuls, being sickly sweet.
Staff:
The staff are incredibly friendly. They have taken the time to get to know their regulars, and always appear to be happy and chirpy. No Bitchy Resting Face here! Not once have I had an order stuffed up, and I have taken plenty of clients and suppliers there, who seem to always want to go back for follow ups. Having first hand witnessed, how some people have treated staff (yes there is always the a$#hole customer who needs to make themselves feel big because they are in a white collar world, and want to show off in front of their colleagues… commonly associated with “small d*ck syndrome”), I can say that it was handled very professionally and not condescending in any shape, way or form.
My only concern is that they have employed a vegan. Vegans should not be allowed to breathe the same air as me….. Ok strike that back…. This particular person is the exception to the rule.

This place gives off a dull look on the outside. However, once you actually approach the entrance you'll see that this place is lively and busy inside! The service is really good- the women who served me today was so lovely :) the range of sweet goodies on offer is totally impressive! I will definitely return back to try out the peanut butter brownie 😍
Awesome early morning coffee spot, open from 6, can definitely help you start the day. Emma and Ella especially are great behind the counter. Their lunch food isn't too and either!

I have been to many cafes to meet and catch up with friends and family, but i couldn't find one that provides food for different people with different health needs, until i came across Alishas Cafe on Harris Road. Alishas has become my go to coffee stop and my permanent local cafe, due to the fact that their food provides excellent healthy options, such as a wide range of salads, gluten free options and free farmed eggs and meat. To top things off, the friendly environment is what draws me back everyday. the staff are friendly and you are greeted with a big smile before you reach the counter. Sometimes its difficult to distinguish the owners from the workers and Dean and Jess (Bosses) are continuously assisting with clearing tables, making coffee and serving food. their passion is reflected through their work ethic and commitment, making customers feel like a contributing member rather than just a number in a bustling cafe. would recommend Alishas Cafe for anyone looking for great service, warm environment and a place to socialise that is suitable for all ages and caters for your exact needs. thankyou so much for your great service and awesome coffee!Lupe Hill
Lovely little cafe in East Tamaki. Excellent fast service from the attentive staff. Nice decor. Delicious coffee. However. They have fallen into the trap of "stacking" their eggs Benedict. You end up with two pieces of ciabatta a handful of wilted spinach two frankly gorgeous slices of thick ham two poached eggs all stacked vertically. Looks great on the plate. BUT this construction method leads to undersaucing. Their hollandaise sauce is delicious but I'm lucky if I'm getting half of what I need. The sauce makes or breaks this dish.
I ordered a Caesar salad for lunch, and came back for coffee after my interview. The food was great and the coffee was really good. I even liked the fact that they have a semi-enclosed extension area for non-smokers in addition to the outdoor seats.
Love coming here for coffee and a bite, the staff are very friendly and the food is alway fresh.I would recommend this cafe, the only thing it needs is a booze licence
Absolutely love this place, the salads in the case and the menu items are spot on. It's cheap considering what you would pay for this quality in town and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable. Must try.
I called into Alishas last week on a hot day. I ordered the chocolate ice cream sundae I think it was. Absolutely lovely and so moreish. Rich tasting chocolate topping on top of a lovely ice cream base.
Couldn't wish for better if you're a chocolate ( or ice cream) lover.
This cafe is a little gem in the heart of East Tamaki. A selection of amazing salads and home baked cakes. They use my favorite coffee brand Allpress. so friendly staffs. I love going there for my morning coffee fix and a quick lunch pick up.

This is such a gem in this commercial area. Stylish décor and lovely fresh food and great coffee. I especially liked the salads on offer and their savoury muffins. Perfect for groups or meetings but good to book first.
What a great cafe, food was fantastic and service also great. Would defiantly recommend to friends and family. Would also be great for business meetings as there is plenty of space.

Friendly staff as always. Been there many times and never been disappointed. From lemon & blueberry muffins pulled pork frittata to cooked hot food to name a few, all are delicious. Lots to choose from including hit and cold drinks. Served with a smile.
Incredible donuts and cakes! Absolute gems during this lockdown. Would really recommend to anyone having family around, or simply want to treat themselves to wonderful treats and coffee! Make sure to pop in if you're in the area :)
What a gem! Only just off the beaten track. Limited parking but for my numerous visits I have always found a space. Décor is superb. Toilets are a bit funny to find as you worm your way through a communal area. Food and drinks were of the high standard that I have experienced at their other locations. Service outstanding.
This is in the Millenium complex and used to only open week days in Ellerslie but its open Saturdays until 2 now. Its off the beaten track a bit but the meals are great, the coffee is great and the cabinet cakes are amazing. The salads during the week are very popular so get in.early. There is parking outside. This place is worth a bit of extra effort to get too.

There were a number of people here as I'm assuming this is a very popular place for delicious food and service.

Toilets are available ..choice of out door or indoor seating.
I also noticed you can reserve a table which is really convenient.

Great food. Came with a friend and ordered the Kung Pao chicken that was in the cabinet along with a side of hash browns. Had benjer Apple and Mango juice. Love the vibe and the setting 💕💕💕
I meet with one of my friends there every now a d then. They have good coffee and the best banana loaf I've had.
