Best chicken pizza in Auckland!
Sal’a buffalo chicken pizza is soo so good thats pretty much all i eat there.
Must try them with garlic knots
Made a custom pizza and it was great. Just the quality I was expecting. I would say the capscium was a little dry. Apart from that i would definitely come back again. Thanks for the late night snack yo!
Another Sal's, another scintillating meal. The new Nonna pizza is such a delight! It has the zingy tomato overwhelming everything else but it is enjoyable all the same. The store members are warm and mannered and engage in delightful conversation. It was such an excellent meal.
I use to work on by K - Road. This was the first sal's I have ever been to.
My favorite place to get chicken wings while I worked in the area.
The pizza's are tasty too.

Sals pizza the new your chain of pizzas .After i visited this joint i realized why people crave a slice of a new York pie .When i came here just went to the regulars like pizza hut and domino's but sals is a class apart . I have had most of their pizzas but their Manhattan pizza is the best with real pepperoni and mushroom . It all as to do with the base of the pizza which is the best part of sals even though not firewood they bake them to perfection .And you have the choice of the slices you want .If you go for the full Monty believe me its really large .But sals is the place to go and this outlet is my favorite for the excellent and fast service
Amazing. The Beautiful pizza girl who goes by the name Stella makes the best Pizza ( She is absolutely stunning ) . But the whole team is awesome. They do a Great Blue cheese and Buffalo sauce topped pizza. Thank You Sal's, your performance is Stella!!
This is the fourth Sal's I've been to and yet they never seem to disappoint each time I order something from the other outlets. With a couple of friends we ordered the NY's finest Special because after all, it was a Friday night and what better to do than to have a great time with friends and have some good ol' NY style pizza. Baked to perfection, the pizza was mouth watering after taking the first bite and the knots were to die for. Some great pizza from a great place.
The waiting time for the pizza was a bit long, but that is something I cannot argue with because like all Sal's outlets, good things take time to make. Overall the service was good, pretty standard.
This place seemed a bit bigger than the last Sal's I went to not long ago which was on Fort St. It has the same layout as all Sal's outlets but the spacing is quite big making it easier for big guys like myself to move around.
This place is amazing! Pricey, but completly worth it for a treat!! My friend and I got a half Meatball, half pepperoni pizza for dinner! Was soooo gorgeous, it was great to see them making and rolling out the dough behind the counter too! Highly recommend.
Stopped by for lunch and they had a special deal on their board. For $15 you get 2 slices of pizza, 3 garlic knots and a drink. A really good deal. The pizza here is always tasty.
This place is perfect for catching up with a group of friends (maybe 3-4 as it’s not that big, if you want to eat in) we came here on a weekday and it was quiet, we ordered one large pepperoni, meatball and large Buffalo wings.
The pizza was good it was packed with flavor and the base was nice and crispy not to hard which I don’t like (unless it’s think crust of course)
The Buffalo wings are hot and messy and definitely didn’t lack in sauce, we loved them and even had pizza to take home cause the slices are a good NY size!
Customer service was always good, the staff are vibrant and attentive!

This is the first Sal's establishment, I believe. Gone was the days where they used to deliver using segways. We love their free delivery. Pizzas ordered from different stores remain consistent in taste. Wings, pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots are our favourite to order. They open late night too! Great for CBD life. Always order in advance so you get your food right away for pick up!!
Usual Sal's cheesy goodness. Their cheese and vegetarian pizzas are delicious. Can only ever handle a couple of slices at a time though! Great and quick service.
I do like Sal's but oddly enough not for the pizza. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas are fine...perhaps a little oily for my liking. The hot buffalo wings however are totally out of this world...if you like spice, you'll love these wings. Even better when combined with the blue cheese sauce!
good value, great american feel to the place and splendid selection of sides too! its a definite favourite for the people in our office especially on Fridays for our lunch shout! and good on these guys for doing pizza by the slice, probably should price the slices slightly lower at about $3

Good pizza at Sals and I do like the way they have taken on the New York style of how they do things in this place! they have a good range of sides in here too, the pizza by the slice is a good little addition on the menu #g1
One of the many Sal's branches in CBD. This one is relatively quiet compared to the rest during the day. I highly recommend the mozarella sticks. I found the spicy buffalo wings a bit too spicy but I'll give the original flavour a go next time. Sal's is my favourite place to get pizza, definitely worth the price

Big tummy: Never one to disappoint, Sal's remains one of Auckland's go-to places for decent pizza. As always the pizza was great and absolutely massive (it never ceases to amaze me just how big these things are when placed it in front of you). They don't charge extra for half-and-half pizzas, so you can try different toppings without worrying about the additional costs that some places include. They had a special on buffalo wings (2 for 1), so we decided to try those as well. Some of the best wings I've had and the celery/dips that come with them make for a great combination. The only con was that they appeared to have a shortage of parmesan cheese shakers, so we had to politely ask the table next to us if we could share theirs. Considering the fact that there were three of us and all of us were left super bloated afterwards (we had to take two slices of pizza home) really speaks for the size of the pizzas and portions.
Little tummy: I'd never been to Sal's before, so my boyfriend made sure he ordered a bit of everything for me to try. The garlic knots were easily my favourite, sprinkled with parmesan cheese, and were delicious to eat. The buffalo wings were also great, with the dipping sauces and celery a welcome addition. The pizza itself was nice, though I did find it a bit salty. Overall, it was a good experience.
Haven't had the pizza from this sal's but their buffalo wings are pretty good. Juicy and fresh and good value. Small store like the one on queen st (probably slightly bigger) but suits the grungy feel of K Road.
I am a little obsessed with sal's pizza at the moment! I adore the large American style slices where if in a group (or extra hungry) you can get a huge pizza, or just by the slice.
I also love their pepperoni and mozzarella wheels, they are so cheesy! Their mozzarella sticks are pretty good too, can you tell I love cheese??
Anyway definitely my work lunch go to at the moment!

Friendly service always and decently priced; a pizza will feed two to three hungry adults for 24-34$. Reliably good every time if u are into that good ol greasy cheesy salty new york style pizza; beats cooking at the end of a long work day. Sooo bad but sooo gooood.

Great authentic NY Pizza, great simple pizzas ,Pepperoni, Cheese, Meatball. But they pack a lot of flavour with there secret Pizza sauce. My Fav is the Pepperoni. The good thing with Sals, is that you can buy a single slice, best way to try before buying a whole one.
Great meal idea, if your watching footy with the guys, pizza also goes well with a nice cold Peroni. Just remember they won't taste like Dominos or Pizza hut, and thats what makes them stand out. If you've been to NY, and want to try something that reminds you of your holiday, you've got to try this Pizza, it actually tastes better. Must be the kiwi ingredients. Do try it if you get a chance.
Always like coming to sals on krd it's good to sit back have a slice and watch the sports also I find they have the best buffalo wings I have had in nz. They go above and beyond

Been here 4 times so far. Never .. and I say it again... Have never been let down.. EVER... Pizza is always top notch. My first experience was 1 to remember. Scalded my upper lip due to the hot cheese and pepperoni oil that was permeating throughout the pizza... YUMMMMM

I love Sal's! Authentic, simple, delicious, massive and well worth the trip to the city! Makes other pizza places/franchises seem totally irrelevant. Pizza doesn't need to have a million greasy tasteless toppings, just a few quality ones.. Maybe a few more seats would be nice though :)
I originally wrote a quite scathing review of Sal's, but after trying it a few more times the place has got under my skin. I like an Italian-style pizza best, but these are pretty yummy too. Damn you Sal's - now I'm craving your pizza!
For our company lunch we ordered the 'A Taste of NY'four large pizza's for $100. It easily feed the 12 of us with the Pepperoni being the most popular. The size of the pizza's is impressive.You do need to remember that they are single topping NY style not the standard cheese dripping type.
This is soul food when you have exams, assignments, or no time to figure out what to eat. Sals have the American NY style pizza experience sorted! The pizzas are super-sized, and each slice is as filling as two standard sized pizza slices.
Their Cheese pizza is my favorite! At $24, it is priced higher than most pizza joints, but the 18" size and the extraordinary taste makes it worth it. It can be easily shared between 1 to 3 people, depending on how hungry you are.
In Auckland CBD, Sals deliver for you, and are open till late (10pm weeknights and midnight on weekends). If you follow them on social media, they also offer student specials and discounts regularly.

Used to be One of the best pizza place . But seems to be sal's is cutting down lots of corners and quality and quantity is Changed significantly... Paying $46 for pizza as picture and look at the amount of toppings.. not worth it anymore.. overall taste is good but not the price anymore...

Better pizza then domino's that's for sure, bit too oily for my tastes but it can be eaten every now and then, the place looked understaffed.
If you go to Sal don't expect anything like a proper italian pizza as they also advertise "new york style pizza" wich i didn't know was even a thing.
overall pizza is ok and the price acceptable.
Just stopped in for a slice and ended having another and a well priced beer. Also walked out with a full size pizza. Overall good experience and what you know and expect

Sal's has been around for a while now, but they still reinventing themselves with more and more option on their menu everytime we go there.
I love the spice wings, the garlic roll and the pepperoni stick.
They have many locations around Auckland, Christchurch and some other areas.
If you are in New Zealand and you like pizza I highly suggest you to stop by and buy either a slice or a whole pizza (quite big).
They serve tap beer and large soft drinks.
Staff is very nice and friendly.
I recommend.

Wings and pizza are both pretty good. 5 stars because I haven’t had to find a new pizza or wings place since coming. I wish they had more flavors like lemon pepper but New Zealand doesn’t do flavors apparently.
