One of the best Vietnamese places I’ve been in New Zealand. Good authentic tasty food, great service, nice cozy ambience. The owners are very nice, make me feel welcomed everytime we visit. Definitely recommend to people who are looking to try out some authentic Vietnamese dishes. This is the place to go to!

Gorgeous food, big back garden and old-school Ponsonby cafe atmosphere. The staff are equally lovely. Can't wait to come back.

Just had the most delicious meal at Fusion! The prawn and mango salad was soooo good, really flavoursome and fresh. Found my new favourite Vietnamese go to 👌 ps if the espresso creme brûlée is available def give it a go.

Food was amazing, service impeccable and we love their charming outdoor dining area. Sandwich lovers: try their roasted veggie focacia, you won't be disappointed!
Really yummy! I got the avocado on toast which came with a super delicious dressing on top. The bread was quite hard and really challenging to cut into but other than that I really enjoyed the meal. The service was super friendly and the outdoor area out the back was so peaceful. This place is always busy whenever I walk past and I can see why!
Very helpful friendly service. One of the best Bahn Mi in town. Full of flavour with a crispy bread crust. The fusion breakfast was good also. The mushroom omelet looked great but unfortunately it did lack a little bit of flavour. Needed some sauce or salt.

The bread was warm and crispy, the meat was seasoned well and it’s so cheap!!
I’ve also tried their cabinet food which was a sandwich and it wasn’t anything crazy but still really tasty!
Loved the cozy feeling of the cafe and felt nice sitting inside.

Took a while for my drink to come out but understand as it was lunchtime. Menu varied and who cant go past the bahn mi. On this occasion only a liquid diet for me so made do with my iced coffee! Nice atmosphere and easy parking in front.

What I absolutely loved about this cafe was the amazing garden area, it had a great homely quality with a bright and beautiful garden that was full of greenery. We ordered the eggs benedict with bacon and it came with ciabatta and spinach. Unfortunately both of our dishes had one overcooked egg but I did enjoy the rest of the meal. The sourdough base had a very light olive oil flavour and the uncooked spinach added freshness and texture. The bacon had a nice flavour but was a little undercooked for my liking. I would happily return.
This is a cosy little cafe with a lovely fireplace going for cold winter days like today. I came here during work lunch break and got the vegetarian croissant from the cabinet for something quick and easy. Unfortunately the wait to get it heated took much longer than expected so the eating part was a bit rushed for my 30 min break but the presentation was lovely. The croissant was toasted perfectly that had it all buttery and crispy with melted cheese. I enjoyed every bite!
Best Bahn Mi's that I have had in Auckland. Under $10 and fresh daily, can't beat it for lunch. Indoor fireplace for winter / an outdoor garden in summer
Love the atmosphere of this cafe so chilled and coffee is amazing too! It's served at the correct temperature so you can enjoy it immediately. Great friendly staff. We had poached eggs and they were perfectly made.
We were gratefully able to reserve a table on Saturday lunch time for a special family celebration (for 10 adults 2 kids). The staff sat us in the shade of the tree in the outside back area (it was a super hot day). The staff were extremely hospitable, very friendly, and created a relaxed vibe for us to enjoy the excellent service. The coffee was superb, and our food and coffee orders were taken and delivered without a hitch. A sandpit kept the kids entertained, and it was great to see other kids there enjoying themselves. Eggs bene, panini, chicken salad, muffins, slices, and such, all perfectly cooked and presented - delicious! Thanks for creating a space for us to really enjoy ourselves on a special day. We will be back, and will also highly recommend.
Great staff, so friendly and great energy. The food is delicious and you can tell made from the best ingredients. I had the potato hash with bacon, huge and amazing. Their home made ginger crunch is to die for too.

A little boutique cafe with little tables around a brick fireplace, a smell of fresh roasted allpress coffee beans, a serene atmosphere of locals taking away their regular decent cups of creamy lattes and flatwhites, couples young and old out for brunch, a businessman having his lunch holding a cup of coffee on one hand and flipping through the newspaper on the other - it was a perfect kind of day to have a relaxing day off for me in this lovely little store. I ordered Special Menu of the Day called Hash Potato which sounded unlikely too common yet amazingly enough more of like a fusion of warm mashed potato salad and eggs benedict - definately special enough to say I couldnt find at any other cafes. Their mushroom quiche was also good enough to have thumbs up and was extremely filling too. It seems like the cafe is under a new management now. At this time where alot of stores are collaborating with different oriental and occidental dishes together, I would recommend this Fusion(of vietnamese and western) Cafe to anyone who enjoys exploring food, a good vibe, relaxing atmosphere and most of all, a good coffee!
P.S. kidsfriendly with a little playground at the backyard too;)
This is my new go to place. Beautiful, peaceful courtyard. I ordered eggs on toast which was great, it had the a really nice beetroot chutney on it. The cabinet food looked amazing as well. Oh and I had a really nice cappuccino which was incredible. It was a great start to my day. Most importantly customer service was great too.
This is my go to cafe - hands down favourite place! Such a funky cafe with so much character! Amazing food and great staff. The eggs benedict is to die for; I can't eat eggs bene anywhere else because no where else comes close! Highly recommended
the pasta of the day was a bit average. but seeing the eggs benedict they were serving, i should have eaten that, it looked very good.

We came across this gem by luck. We started our morning 730 in the cafe with fresh hot coffee followed by a crispy bánh mì… this is so divine we’ve tried both the pork in the chicken and highly recommend both of them but our favourite is the chicken bánh mì, it’s so flavoursome you can taste every single ingredient that’s been seasoned so well.
Great cafe for a couple or small group. First place in NZ that served me a North American sized coffee when I asked for it! :) Food was really good as well.

We just love this place. The food is fantastic and the sweets are divine. Coffee is great. It has great outdoor dining. Squirrel brings us much joy and laughter 🐈⬛ But most of we love the staff! Nam, Fritha, Kne, Michelle and the team. So Beautiful. They’re just fantastic ♥️ Best in Ponsonby without a doubt.

Everything is amazing! Banh Mi is superb! Pho is really nice. Fresh toast is beautifully done and presented. The team are attentive and friendly. The backyard is a nice & relaxing area for brunch. You can just forget about the city noise for a little while. If you are looking for a laid-back and easy brunch place Fusion Café is the one.

Lovely mixture of foods on the menu and food beautifully presented. Lots of vegan/gluten free options and the coffee is superb! I had the wild rice bowl, was delicious and the Kim chi really lifted the meal and tofu was full of flavour, the salad did need some kind of sauce or agent to make it less dry otherwise meal was great. I requested avocado with it and it went so well with the dish. The salmon bagel was perfect, was hearty with the proper salmon fillet and swapped out the cream cheese for avo. French toast, was a ten, presentation spot on and lovely bits of fruit to add some lightness to the meal. The full breakfast was impressive and the pork and fennel sausages were the star on that plate. I recommend to try their freshly pressed juices,specially the green juice, great way to start the day. This place is great for litte ones as their is a Hidden courtyard at the back where they can be less restricted and enjoy the outdoors. This place had some lovely Vietnamese options on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try the pho!! Oh and duck fat potatoes must try, they are delicious!!!

This cafe has cute mini cupcakes which the kids just love. Also has good All press coffee and Coffey feeling casual fun decor.
