I love this place ,the food is amazing , the staff are fabulous, I may only go there every few months but they remember my favourite meal on the menu!

I have ordered dishes from here in the past that weren’t great however last night I ordered duck curry and pad Thai to takeaway and both were really flavoursome.
Their pad Thai makes up for the loss of our old Thai local and the duck curry was highly reviewed by others - I would definitely recommend this dish if you are a fan of laksa. The duck was boneless which made it more enjoyable not having to pick out bones, curry sauce the right amount of creamy, sweet and spice and a huge portion!

Ordered through Uber eats. The duck curry was incredible. So delicious. The portion size was huge, like twice the size of most Thai places. This will be something I will be ordering a lot. Totally recommend.
Everything is the best here! Nothing else to write other than it’s the best Thai I’ve had so far in Auckland. The Pad Thai is always the best. Takes a bit of time if you’re making a big order but good/quality food takes time. The service is always great and friendly

excellent decor and seating arrangement, perfect for large groups or more intimate dining. The most authentic food i have tried in Auckland, i ordered 3 go to Thai dishes, most restaurants fail using the same base sauce for all, sweet chilli the best. 1 - tom gha soup so so flavorful, perfectly balanced, true coconut milk based soup, yum yum yum .2 - chicken satay, WOW! non peanut based sauce, they use a bean instead, BEAUTIFUL! better than a peanut sauce. 3 - pad thai prawn, amazing, didnt lack in sauce and wasn't too much sauce, nice and moist not dry, very flavorful, great amount of egg and nuts, even had tofu included, absolutely perfect. Dont go anywhere else for thai, i drive from greenlane to get my takeaway, never disappointed.
This place is awesome!! The service is so lovely and its such a clean, tidy and spacious restaurant. The staff are so helpful and always ensure you have a great experience. As for the food - yum! My partner and I always go for the curries as they make these so well, but the soups and everything else we've tried was delicious too. Prices are really reasonable for the portion you get. Highly recommend!
Service is attentive and the place is clean and tidy. We ordered a whole fish and beef salad a coup. All well cooked except that I expected more vegetables in beef salad. The soup was a bit sour and sweet, so refreshing. I loved Very much. Overall very good experience.

Consistently good, good portion sizes, friendly service and lots of parking. Always a reliable place if you want no frills thai food. Pad thai is good, massaman and panang curries, chuchee are all great.

The duck curry is awesome recommended. However, the fish is not really good, a little bit sour on my liking. we also ordered tom yum and the portion a bit small and not many of pieces in it. The service is great and people is nice!!!

The food here is so good!!!! I just work right opposite and eat here almost everyday. I tried a lot of different dishes here and they are all tasty and yummy. Jenny and her brother in law are all friendly, we always have a chat when I come. Amazing!! Highly recommended and worth to try.

I fortunately live locally, and would much rather the food here than any other Thai place I've been to in Auckland. The staff are also very sweet and friendly. The atmosphere inside seems a bit ho-hum - too many tables and chairs, not enough plants, decor and intimacy - so I only ever do takeaway.

I never pass up an oppertunity to eat here everytime i am in Auckland. The food is outstanding, the people are so friendly and always smiling. You just cannot beat the service here. If you love thai food...like i do...come here for a great evening and of course food!!!!!!!
I'm really impressed by this place- I called 20 minutes before closing time for a takeaway order (I was one of those people, I know), and they were so lovely about it and my order was ready very quickly. The food here always has lots of vegetables and protein (I usually order a curry) and generous in portion sizes. Lovely staff and lovely food
A 4 out of 5 for some of the tastiest and freshest Thai we've had a in a while. SC's staff are friendly, the service is quick and maybe it was because we were post work out, we just really loved dinner tonight. We got a seafood stirfry, chicken and cashew stirfry w. a satay sauce and a seafood pad Thai. All delicious. Thanks guys.

Having eaten my fair share of thai cuisine, I have to say that Sweet Chilli is consistent with their serving of quality, authentic, and well prepared dishes. The service is impeccable – courteous, attentive and friendly staff. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Love this place! as a local and regular, this is by far my favourite eatery in Pt Chevalier - The service is bubbly, lovely and fantastic the lady behind the counter knows my friend and I so well we don't even have to tell her what we'd like to order as we get the same thing all the time (I think we need to broaden our horizons and try more meals they offer) . We order the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soup! Really tasty and cheap too, so you leave with a happy wallet and happy belly. We also got complimentary rice which was so sweet and much appreciated! definitely a go-to place if you are after a meal that is fulfilling but doesn't break the wallet. Awesome.
This is by far my favourite Thai restaurant. It is definitely my go-to place for some authentic Thai dishes. Also, they have the friendliest bunch of people there - totally a land of smiles. It's a no fuss, casual dining experience. They also do takeaways which is a bonus. Have tried an array of dishes and I've always left with a happy full stomach.

We love this place. Every family gathering is shared here. Love that it caters for everyone, we have fussy eaters ad vegos so it is a real pleasure to be able to go to just one restaurant where everyone can eat. We are always made to feel welcome and the service is great.
Great little restaurant in my neighbourhood! I am always greeted with a smile whether I'm dining in or picking up takeaways. The amount of times I have been here is countless and the food always tastes amazing. Prices are also reasonable. Highly recommended!
Cheap, cheerful (the staff are always smiling and obliging) and tasty! I've been here numerous times and tonight's chicken massaman curry was creamy and full of flavour. Call it the cold weather or simply the curry aromas, I couldn't help but ask for a big second helping of rice! The mixed appetisers at the start were predictable but the spring roll had a nice texture. Yes the decor is nothing to write home about, and the lighting a bit yellow, but the food and service rose above the aesthetics. Gotta love the Thai covers playing in the background too!
Another fab meal from Sweet Chilli...super fast service, quality Thai food - plenty of parking + great for takeaways. Can highly recommend satay chicken..any curries. I had the roasted duck - amazing.

Nice setting. We went to Pt Chevalier for the sole purpose of trying out Sweet Chilli under a friend's recommendation. Our duck curry and Tom Kha Gai was full of flavour. I could taste the herbs inside the dishes that makes Thai dishes so special. If you are a daredevil give the raw prawn salad ago, this will definitely give you a hit if you are up for it!

Food has a very authentic taste to it, service was good with very friendly staff. Very clean and simply presented restaurant. Started with the Spring rolls, one of the least oily spring rolls i have had in a long time, brilliant! Had the Thai chicken schnitzel, massive portion packed with plenty of meat and just the right balance of veges, a great dish with a unique Thai twist. Overall good Thai food and friendly service at a very reasonable price.

I appreciate that the food is always super fresh and tasty - no heavy greasiness, and lots of vege. I absolutely adore the moneybags - some of the best I've had, so tasty and with identifiable, crunchy filling, not just mush.
Service is always friendly. The only downside is that it's slightly pricey.
Went here for a work do a while back and loved my meal so much I've been getting their takeaways at least once a week since.Their green curry (#14) is HIGHLY recommended :o)
Was going there for the last two years at least once a month. Simple place, nothing funky but tasty food with all fresh ingredients. Good menu. Would newrr miss theirs curries, soo tasty! Polite staff and quick service. Reasonable priced that's why they are very busy with take away orders. Easy parking. Would recommend.
Service was excellent, they genuinely cared about their customers experience and the food quality was awesome! I'd also add they weren't shy on the portions either!
I couldn't fault this place at all.
What was even more surprising was when we left a tip they asked us if we were in a rush to leave because they were making a desert to say thank you!

This is the best Thai restaurant I have found anywhere in the world and this includes in Thailand. The food is delicious , tried so many of the dishes and never had a bad one, the Pad Thai is my absolute favourite anywhere. Never have had a bad experience in probably 100+ visits over many years. The place should be packed every night but is somewhat of a hidden gem. Staff friendly, prices reasonable, meal sizes good, always clean and tidy and plentiful parking out the back.. what else can you say really.

It was a lovely meal and not too expensive. The restaurant was quite clean and the waiters friendly. We ordered a Tom Yum soup, jasmine rice, spring rolls, and stir fried vegetables with chicken. Each had it’s own delicious flavour.

In the heart of Point Chevalier it was the first time that my family and I come to the place. We were looking for an affordable alternative to Maca as ayer 6pm everything looks close... On a Thursday! And yep, we found this nice and tidy place with great service and a varied menu. Price range from $8 to $19 and it's even BYO wine. My kids ordered the summer rolls and kadukmoo Tod (deep fried pork spare ribs) Delicious! The stir frieds dishes were as well nicely cook, presented and yummy. Definitely a place to come back!
