Decent cafe with good variety of breakfast options, a dog friendly cafe with plenty of seating! The bharta eggs are delicious, as well as the potatoes you can add on the side. Coffee always good, staff friendly. However I had the pancakes last time, and they could’ve had a bit more to it is they were quite small for the price.
A magical brunch cafe, definitely go here. Wicked food and service. Not a standard menu, there's always a third option. Cool atmosphere and a hot spot for pup watching.
Really trendy place with mostly outdoor seating. Great almond iced coffee and chai spice cake although I had to ask for it to be heated up.
**have since returned twice and they do the best date scones and cheese scones ever!! MUST TRY.
Good coffee and delicious savoury brioche. Nice to sit outside in the sun and watch the world go by. Very close to fantastic walk around the mangroves.
Delicious spot, a favourite of the locals - always good food and lovely staff (never impolite and ever so happy to make your experience better): don't beat it before you try it Seabreeze is a goodie.
For many the name ‘Seabreeze’ evokes the best of summer; ocean views and warm summer sun mediated by a cooling breeze. With views overlooking the Waitemata, Seabreeze is indeed true to its namesake and, on the warm Friday afternoon of our Husk visit, those breezes were doing their job splendidly. This corner joint is a relatively new arrival in the Westmere food scene, and was co-founded by Lou’s previous business partner (from the days of the Sneak Design Collective), Brendan Vucich. With the potential relational awkwardness that a poor review might create, we were relieved to find the menu both strong and creative.
A personal favourite was the green eggs – a delicious brunch-come-lunch salad option with perfect accompanying green sauce. The full experience suggested thoughtful, creative consideration – from the menu, to the plating, crockery and furniture. Chef Angus Mclean’s contemporary and original dishes still manage to stand out in what is already a competitive Auckland café scene. It was hard for us Huskies to eventually tear ourselves away from our reserved outdoor table at what is an excellent summer café. We took our old friend who lives in the retirement village nearby .
The owner , Brody , explained to us the interesting choices on the menu .
I chose a jollof Fried Chicken and my wife and friend shared a miso mushroom .
Needless to say we enjoyed our lunch .
Latte n cappuccino were superb .
Friendly and helpful staff .
The food was okay but the service was pretty underwhelming experience. It felt like everyone was 'too cool' and didn't bother with welcoming us or giving us menus, not even smiling. When I asked about vegan option for a kumara and qunioa salad the waiter basically told me 'well can't you see it's vegan? ' .
Went here several times while back and am really shocked to see they're not a 5/5. Was super impressed - this place is probably one of my favourite cafes in Auckland.
Ordered the Bharta eggs - poached eggs, spiced aubergine puree, whipped yoghurt, chilli butter, and sourdough. And it was superb! A really wonderful mix of flavours and textures, warm spices and perfectly cooked eggs. The toasted sourdough came with a GENEROUS serving of SOFT butter - unheard of these days. I was impressed with the thoughtful flavours of this dish and really surprised at how delicious it was. Can't wait to have it again or to try a few other things on the menu like the feta, date, and sweetcorn fritters, the bone marrow burger, and the hotcakes.
A newly renovated space with friendly service and good coffee. Seating inside and out.
Ordered the Bone Marrow Burger and it was delicious! Would love to go try other items on the menu. Staff are friendly. Nice little cafe around the corner.
What a great cafe - had lunch with four colleagues. We tried the bone marrow burger, pork belly, the wine , smoothies and coffee. The food was fantastic as was the coffee. The wine list was small but covered most of the basics and all of it could be purchased by the glass. The restaurant had a nice buzz to it.
On the down side the service was slow (but friendly), the burger came with fried potatoes and not fries and the toilet was a bit rustic and there was nothing to dry your hands on.
But a great little cafe all the same and we will be back.
Super friendly and relaxed service, really tasty unique dishes, lots of seating, dog friendly. Feels like a real local chill vibes :) def recommend, glad we tried it out. Only tiny thing was the brioche wasn't quite warmed properly.
Perfect place to get your morning coffee and something to eat. We loved the filter coffees, sour dough toast and yummy breakfast burito.
Dog friendly outdoor area.
Outdoor seating beside the windows is reasonably sheltered if its windy.
Lots to enjoy about Seabreeze ❤️
Love this place. Whenever in Auckland we make an effort to come to this suburban Cafe. Great food, fast service and fresh Seabreeze. That's life. Coffees, eggs, avos, big brekkies and stuff, all spot on.
Stopped here for breakfast and left ecstatic, the service is wonderful all the staff is so lovely and helpful. I had a flat white coffee, my sister an earl grey tea both absolutely delicious. I ordered the fried chicken, it was the most delicious chicken I've had (I consider myself a fried chicken connoisseur, I'm American lol). My sister got the egg breakfast burrito and loved it as well. I wish we were in Auckland another day just to return there, but pictures of it will have to do!
Very lovely spot, we just got coffee and they had almond milk so I was happy. It gets the morning sun on outside tables. Has a cabinet full of food that they said is all made in their kitchen. It gets very busy with locals mid morning but it's quiet earlier. Plenty of street parking and peeps of the ocean.
Good small cafe, fairly priced with good food. Coffee is excellent, just can be a little cold inside during the peak of winter. Overall pretty worth the trip for a coffee and a sweet
Delightful cafe for brunch and shoot the breeze 😝 The staff are great and friendly! specifically the dishes are well presented and comes quite reasonably priced, timely manner and delicious.
Great place go with a friends
Lovely kind friendly staff ☺️
The coffee was good and the green juice is just lovely, but the coconut hotcakes were insanely wonderful!
Lovely little corner Cafe. Staff are efficient and polite, food is amazing, and the interior is tastefully decorated.
Best cafe around. Superb cabinet food and the menu selection is really interesting and delicious not just your bulk standard fare. Best scones ever - but you need to get in quick - they sell out fast. Service is always super friendly and efficient. Coffee and chai lattes both excellent. Have started coming for dinner as well now that they are open late week/weekends in the evenings . The pizza is divine as are the fries. Wine selection is perfect. We love this place. So lucky to have it as our local ❤️
Best coffee in Auckland thus far.
Lovely local in Westmere. This little corner of Auckland is blessed with many little ‘providors’ of high quality. Back to the cafe.. delicious food to match the coffee. Good people/dog watching corner.
hi 😁 my flat white 2day was the nicest coffee ive had in a long time, thank uuuu, Beth 😉
Been here thrice and pleased each time with the level of service, good coffee and nice, fresh, imaginative food.
Love the cabinet food and coffee. Needs more fun!
Best breakfast I’ve had, potato’s, bacon, mushrooms, tomato’s, sourdough bread poached eggs highly recommended if in akl
If I lived in Westmere the Seabreeze would be my local. Coffee was good and the vibe was just right for a Saturday morning. Warm, welcoming and great music. Well curated space. Check it out
Tried items from their cabinet: Rueben sandwich and side salad fresh and tasty. My mid-week lunch was casual, unhurried and we could chat. On weekends this place is bustling and busy.
