Fantastic little lunch place - as authentically northern Italian as you can get. The tomato and bread soup is a must-have! Excellent service, with a good range of cabinet and menu items. All the written reviews here give 4 or 5*... yet somehow they only average 3.5? I'm very suspicious of Zomato's maths, on both this and other similarly rated places.
I cant believe I've never come across this place till now. This place is hidden at the back corner of Chancery.
Their almond croissant/cornetto is very big. They charge $6.50 but the size and texture justifies this. I will visit again to try their various crepes.
Service was friendly and the guy was very bubbly. It was great to see tables occupied in their clean cozy cafe in the morning before work. There are tables outside too.
Fantastic coffee which comes with a tasty something on the side. Run by a lovely husband and wife team. Great selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes etc as well as massive crepe menu.
Very nice little cafe.I came first time to try one of their crepes, which was crepe with white choc, almonds and coconut. Super yum! Huge menu on the selections of sweet crepes and savory crepes. Will be back to try other stuff.Ambience: 5/5
Food-to-price: 5/5
Such a cute small café hidden in a corner in chancery.
Their crepés are amazing for the price, they're super filling and good! The gentlemen who I'm guessing owns the café is so kind and welcoming. This has been my second visit and I love how he attends his customers each time, makes me want to go again.
The two times I've been here I tried the same banana and nutella crepé, the first time the bananas were tucked inside the crepé which I preferred instead of having them on top. This didn't change the taste whatsoever it's just a preference.
I will definitely be a regular at this place and hopefully try something different from the countless crepé flavour options they have including savoury.
On the hunt for a new place to discover in Auckland, rather than resorting to one more of our bookmarked favourites, a friend and I stumbled across Caffé Torino on Zomato. He has tried savoury crepes in the past, and recommended them as something worth trying. I was intrigued.
A bit mysteriously hidden away on one edge of Chancery Square is this little spot that I just loved. Situated on a relatively quiet corner, with some lovely marble patterned tables outside, and glass ones inside, the ambiance here is wonderful. It's a place I want to be at.
I believe the lady that took my order and the gentleman who brought it out are the couple behind this masterful cafe. Their service was lovely and warm, especially the gentleman's. I felt comfortable here, and that is an important deep-down feeling. The two complimentary cookies given to us with our drinks, to enjoy after our meal, was a wonderful touch that I haven't seen anywhere else - and I eat out in Auckland a fair amount. It's not a big deal, but I think it adds to the genuine feel of this place, and that is excellent service.
Finally on to the food itself. There are numerous offerings of both savoury and sweet crepes, alongside other cafe food. I ordered the chicken breast, feta, spinach, mushroom and sesame seed crepe, and for the $14 I paid I was more than pleased. The amount of fillings inside the crepes was more than generous. I barely managed to finish my entire dish, it was that much. Crepes deceive you into thinking they're so light that you won't feel full and you'll need something else afterwards. I thought that way, and found out that actually this delicious meal was more than enough.
I think crepes are something to have once in a while. I like them a lot now, but I don't want to get sick of them. In the next few weeks I hope to come back again and try one of the sweet options.
Great cafe that specialises in CREPES (MY FAV!!) They have a greeeat range of both savoury and sweet crepes that will surely take your taste buds on an amazing journey. For savoury I had the bacon, parmesan cheese and salad one. It was filling and the crepes were light ans crispy on the edges. It wasn't soggy despite wrapping bacon inside and having sauce drizzled in the outside! For the sweet one I had banana and nutella! It was good but I'll be more keen to try the one with the ice cream scooop next time! :D
Wonderful cafe with delicious food, coffee, and amazing coconut/almond cookies. So happy to have found this place. You will not be disappointed.
The best breakfast I had in Auckland. I ordered the big breakfast with extra avocado. I ended up being served with a piece of art that was above and beyond any big breakfasts I had my whole life.
Things even better were the vibe of the cafe and friendliness of the owners, which made the whole experience unique and impossible to forget.
I had such a great time here! The owner was so welcoming and friendly. Coffee and food are fantastic. The owner offered us two free biscuits. I must give 5 stars to this lovely café, highly recommended to everyone! Thank you very much:)
Incredible restaurant/cafe. Friendly owner who is invested in cooking great food with good service. I had a big breakfast, and everything on the plate was full of flavour and perfectly seasoned.

The owners were extremely nice, and make you feel like they truly appreciate your business. This doesn’t happen very often.
Good coffee and selection of breakfast items with fresh ingredients.
Wow, what a Fabulous little cafe. Food was divine, coffee was delicious and the Service was exceptional! Will definitely check this place out again when in Auckland next. 5 Stars
A hidden gem. The warmth and love is definitely shown in the hospitality of the staff that it extends to the passion they have for food and coffee. Will be a regular of this place after my night shifts.
Superb service as the owner took our orders and gave us free cookies for our afternoon. One of the best poached eggs I’ve had
