Best pizza in NZ by far & generous ingredients. Quite entertaining to see the chef runs the "show".
WARNING : due to the long wait, dont go in a Bad Mood & dont expect good service during busy hours. worth the wait tho. Able to dine in & fast service on random late weekends.
Amazing pizzas! We ordered two pizzas and both taste so good. Very friendly staffs and such a lovely little pizza place in Pt Chev. Surprisingly the desserts are also tasty and worth a try!
The real deal. Simple, delicious and always worth the wait. Our faves are the pescatorra, margherita and quattro fommagio.
One of the best pizzas in Auckland. Called ahead on an early Friday night and it was ready in 15 minutes. The Ciro’s Choice was delish and went down a treat at the nearby Pt Chev beach!
This place is the best thing that has ever happened to Auckland. Even simple Marinara is orgasmic, also the ones with eggplants are outrageously good. Place is quite tiny with a few tables and chairs, you can see Ciro working on each pizza and argue with his family over each order. Might take a bit longer than what they tell you over the phone, as they tend to get very busy and their timing is Italian, too. But it's always worth the wait, pastries are amazing, too.

Didn’t expect too much but was pleasantly surprised by the food. The hosts are warm and welcoming. Doesn’t feel like going to a takeaway or a restaurant but more like walking into family but... have to pay for food. This adorable husband and wife team manage the pizzeria by themselves and the food tastes nothing like the commercial pizzas you are used to, quite authentic. Pasta absolutely melts in the mouth and delicious. Always seems busy so will pay to phone order first. Will definitely visit again and again.
Always great as per usual. Ciro is an authentic Italian master !!!! If only he still had Cafe Latte. The olive bread is to die for and the pizzas are you typical Italian ! No over kill with the flavours here and no artific crap.... all home made
I called on the phone placing my order 30 minutes prior when they said the pizza would be available. When I came to pick the pizza up they hadn’t even started making my order, they forgot and made me wait. The pizza and dessert was good but the service was terrible
Best pizza I've had outside of Europe. Theoretically it would be great if there was more seating, but for that they'd have to take on more staff, which could jeopardise the magic happening in that tiny kitchen. It's the only reason I ever go to Pt Chev

What an absolutely amazing pizza and pasta! We had the pucinella pizza and spaghetti with meatballs and we are two happy customers. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The pizza had a puffy crisp thin base and delicious sausage. Plus we loved watching the pizzas being made while we waited. Thank you for a wonderful meal that transported our tastebuds to Italy. Delightful!
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. This place is so good. The owner is very friendly and engaging. The pizza oven is out front so you can see your pizza go in and come out. The menu is diverse and the food is top notch. Fresh ingredients and made to order. Seating available. Affordable prices. And the delicious smells that hit you when you walk in are to die for.
Sometimes it takes some time to get your order but this little spot serves up the best gnocchi in town. The staff are lovely and are always full of life! 🥇🍝🍷

I always order the vegetarian options and they are just awesome. I'm really happy to have a real pizzeria italiana in Point Chev.

Excellent wood fired thin base pizza. Bolognese pasta with meatballs was some of the best I have ever had. Extremely limited seating space but the owners were very accommodating setting up a second table for us. It's a mum and dad operation so can be slow. Next time I'll be ringing an order through ahead.
I love Francesca's pizza, (yet to try the pasta but have heard good things) - it's as authentic Napolese Italian pizza as you're gonna get - Ciro is from Naples, Francesca is his daughter who is often serving at the counter in the teeny wee shop front. Definitely takeaway recommended, you can take it down to the beach! (Point Chev Organic wines is across the road and has some good 🇮🇹 wines!) They get MEGA busy and he is making his pizza from scratch so allow a good 30-45 minutes (Phone order call ahead) BUT SERIOUSLY it's really worth the wait. I recommend the Capricosa, anchovies, olives etc. YUM. And feel good supporting local :)

Undoubtedly one of the best pizzas I've ever tried. So authentic and falvourful. We ordered a Margarita with extra cheese & Pizza Pescatora, which was topped with motz, prawns, calamari & mussels. The seafood one was so damn delicious.. juicy & rustic at the same time.
The pizza and pasta was supberb as usual.
Best authentic Italian in Auckland. It's like having my mamma and nonna living with me.

Francesca pizzeria is a delightful niche pizzeria in Pt Chevalier. The pizzas looked and tasted great . Service was wonderful . Even with the staff / owners come to check up on us as we stayed outside sampling the delight. Will visit again.
Authentic wood fire pizzas. Can't believe I didn't find this place earlier. Recommend phoning ahead as there is a bit of a wait as they make them from scratch.
Had Primavera, Pulcinella and Margherita. All three were very good with Pulcinella being awesomest. Pizzas are huge and toppings are generous. I also like that their menu is small, specialized and differs quite a bit from a regular pizzeria.
Genuine Italian people and service complete with a free slice of New Year's Day chocolate cake! The pizza and pasta were both amazing with very fresh ingredients and toppings.
We ordered the Pizza Pescatora. We arrived and the staff were lovely and attentive. The pizza itself was amazing! Fresh ingredients and so flavorful! We will be back!

Another my one of favourite takeaway pizza place. Authentic pizza, great base and home made sauce. Waiting time is around 20 min so call first to order.
Nice local joint. Great, authentic pizza. The pasta is nice too. Very sweet folks run the place. I asked for a pizza that was not on the menu, and it was no problem at all. If you're in Pt. Chev, check it out (and ask about the coin in the floor).
Really good authentic Italian pizza and pasta with a bit of entertainment on the side! A bit of a wait if you turn up and order but great conversation during the wait! Lots of phone orders coming in so obviously a local favorite. Will return for takeaway.
Can't go wrong here, authentic pizza, home made sauces, pizza base, pasta, made in wood fired oven and made by a true Italian cook. So popular that there is sometimes a bit of a wait....be patient! It is TOTALLY worth it!
Honestly this is top tier pizza in Auckland super fresh with great ingredients, we got the Pulcinella and the Francesca’s choice both were great but I did like Pulcinella the best. We also got the Tiramisu and the Chocolate Lava cake, don’t skip the lava cake this was super good. Check this place out! I also took a photo of the menu cause it was hard to find a good copy.

Best pizza in auckland by far, enjoyed it a lot my italian girlfriend was so happy she felt a little bit at home traveling through flavors, took a little to come out but totally worth it! Not much space inside and decided to take away and eat it in the car, 100% recommended, super friendly staff and the chef is from napoli! Great guy too!

No doubt the pizza the owner make is delicious and very authentic, but just like everyone else, the waiting time is a stretch. But you can tell he works hard and has alot of passion for what he makes.
Hands down for the best pizza in the hood! The chef is so generous on the topping and their pizza base is one of the best! Had it so many times but still miss it sometimes, think am going to have one for tonight.
Absolutely the best pizza I’ve had in Auckland up to now. I’ve gone here a few times and I’m not convinced calling ahead does any good. Any time I’ve done this they didn’t start making it until I was there, even this most recent time when I purposefully arrived 15mins after they said the pizza would be ready – they still hadn’t even started making it. The chef here is quite a firecracker, I suggest just going there early and enjoying the show while you wait. It’s worth it for how good the pizza is. Tiramisu is great too.

We live in Parnell and we still make the troop over every time we want a pizza and we are pizza lovers.
I always try “Francesca’s choice” that’s my fav or the prawn pizza is 10/10
