Great little Ramen restaurant, the decor of which really reminded of those small Ramen shops in Tokyo. Ordered a Tonkotsu ramen, the noodles were cooked well with a good texture, the Broth flavor was excellent and compliment the noodles and the saltiness was just right. The Gyoza differs from the ones I am used too, abit thicker on the skin but tasty nevertheless Excellent service from the staff!

I had a spicy miso ramen on both Saturday (14/1) and Tuesday (17/1). I really like the broth, it made me feeling like back to Hokkaido. However, I think the chashu is way too chewy 😅so I recommend just don’t add it( the price won’t change). The staffs are both Japanese, the lady was very friendly. It is definitely not a spot for staying long to chat, but a perfect spot for a quick and full-filling meal! (I personally don’t really like the gyoza😅 it didn’t taste like Japanese)

Enjoyed ramen on a chilly day in Auckland. This is a small establishment for about 10-12 guests. It is nice and cozy. There are several types of ramen to choose from and have other options. The broth was really delicious and portion was just right. I can eat there every day !

By far my favorite place for Ramen in the City for me. I've been a regular since my first day of uni, already i've been going there for 3 years. The food is great and the atmosphere is quite nice for the small space that they have (though a little cramped) as it can only fit about 10-12 people max The only major problem I have had with Kiraku is not being able to confirm whether they are open or closed, as some days I go to see that their doors are closed at opening hours. I have tried calling them with the phone number shown on google, yet it has never been picked up (perhaps it is an outdated number).

Had a wonderful time here at Kiraku. A small ramen restaurant on Elliot street. I was very happy with the amount of food that was given to me and it is possible to add extra toppings and/or noodles for $2 each, but I don't think it's necessary. The best ramen shop I've been to in Auckland so far.

I have been coming to kiraku for almost 7 years solely due to the fact that I have not found a better restaurant in auckland cbd. Owned and run by a lovely couple that make tasty ramen and make you feel welcome as soon as you sit down. Kiraku is a hidden gem and i would recommend to anyone wanting a great dining experience. I would always recommend the chashu ramen or the spicy miso ramen. I wish the owners nothing but good luck in this difficult time. Defos worth the trip to CBD alone.

This place replicates whatever one knows about those small alleyway Japanese ramen place. Limited seating, kitchen across the counter, little-to-no noise, broth boiling in the corner. Love their broth, visited today for lunch. Know what you want to order before entering (they've got menu outside). Reason for saying that being it's a 2 person set-up, so taking your own time to ponder while a staff member is standing at the counter, away from the kitchen isn't fair :). My wife and I ordered Prawn ramen and Teriyaki Chicken ramen plus Pork Gyoza. Loved the broth, never fails. I wish either one of us had ordered some other broth base to explore as our had a similar base (not complaining). Gyozas were crispy perfection, went well with their dipping sauces. Priced slightly higher than a typical ramen place, and completely worth it. The overall experience isn't like a typical ramen place for sure. Friendly staff, wish I could visit more often.

Nice little Japanese noodle house. We enjoyed our noodles. One minor con is sitting/table. They have limited space so might need to wait. However noodle is great

unfortunately I can only give this place a 4/5 mostly because of the chill and comforting vibes inside along with their amazing tonkotsu repertoire. but they are missing their last star because of their removal of the Nagoya Ramen, the greatest ramen to have ever been created in the history of mankind. I would be willing to pay 23-25$ any day of the week just for Nagoya Ramen, it was that good. it even used to be 19$ at one point, good times ;C. PLEASE i beg bring back Nagoya Ramen.

I absolutely love here! Miso is my love, and is served in a perfect size (totally enough for one person). The chashu is the best I have ever tried. They are also very kind.
