The staff was exceptionally nice here. Quick service and very attentive. We only ordered snacks so pretty basic fries and chicken bites. But I would still suggest a stop in.
Place has a good vibe with wonderful background music. Several TV’s are strategically placed so that everyone can access. Excellent service with a smile and great food.

What an outstanding lunch I had here! Pan fried snapper, gluten free and absolutely delicious! Food is a little pricey but it's well worth it! Staff were friendly, and helpful without being intrusive on our family get together.

Came here for lunch with a collegue. The staff working here were super friendly, helpful and just had overall great service. The portions of the food are quite generous too! As soon as you step foot inside The Good Home in Mt Eden it definitely lived up to the name THE GOOD HOME. Warmth homely welcome as we were greeted by bar male staff name Sam, he smiled and asked how we both are and how can be of help, once we told him of our reservations
