Fuze have the BEST chicken pasta ever, I have not yet found a place that can beat it. Their sandwiches are the best on the Peninsula NH far and their beef and blue cheese pies are so yum.. I haven't been to Fuze for a while but I have been craving their pasta so I need to go back asap.

The omelette is delicious! Fuze bene is lovely too, the hash browns would be better if they were less oily though. Their pastries are yummy!! Staff are friendly. I would recommend Fuze to others.

I've lived in Te Atatū for a while now and never gone into Fuze as it doesn't have much street appeal as you walk past, but it always has people sitting outside. Finally went there today for brunch and the food was beautiful! I ordered the 'Haloumi' - poached eggs, grilled haloumi, roasted vine tomatoes, rocket leaves on ciabatta. I asked for no bread and to add bacon & hollandaise and it was no issue at all. Actually it's only as i write this now that I realised that my meal didn't actually come with the roasted tomatoes?! It had sun-dried tomatoes through the salad... well I guess that tells you how nice it was, I didn't even notice at the time. The service was excellent - promptly came and took my order and got my coffee straight out. Staff obviously love their job, very friendly & one of them singing as she worked. Food took no time at all even though they were busy. The waitress was serving someone else when my food came up so the chef brought it out himself rather than just leaving it there. Will definately go back.
FUZE!! What a little gem in the heart of Te Atatu Peninsula. We only just moved into the area a month ago and wanted to try something local. A cute, humble little place with a great space out back.
It was a very busy Saturday morning when we arrived and the service definitely didn’t fall behind because of it. Smiles all round! The barista was smashing the coffees out and even though the coffee I had ordered got lost amongst the dockets, they were super apologetic and got it straight out.
The pies, quiches and sweets in the window look incredible. But we decided to have something from the menu. My partner had the Spanish omelette which was HUGE, hot and oh so tasty!! Myself, the classic Eggs Bennie which came with a proper smoked salmon steak and the hollandaise had the perfect balance of zest and salt.
Must recommend if you ever come out to the peninsula.

It’s been two years since I last went to Fuze and I’m reminded of just how good the food still is. I ordered the fuze Benedict which had the bacon and hash brown I so desperately was craving for. While my friend ordered their pancakes. The hashbrown is such a speciality here, it consists of shredded potatoe that are put together, which are super crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Loved my dish, super filling and lovely presentation, only negative is that the hash brown was a quite bland so definite needed that salt.
Stopped in due to reviews on this hidden gem, very personal the set up and food was good as the way it should be when someone else cooks breaky for you. Definitely be back to test the steak burger for lunch.
Ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious, came with a generous side of curly fries and salad as well as aioli. Service was amazing and I'd defs go again, only pitfall is that I found the aioli to be a bit plans, could of used some more garlic or lemon juice to add a big of a tang. Other than that, awesome!
Went here for breakfast the other time bacause we feel like trying somewhere new and also because I've seen their reviews and everyone seems to like their coffee so I convinced my husband that we should try this one . First of all service was excellent, the staff were friendly and we managed to get a seat at the back of the cafe which was a nice little quiet place (but it can do with a little touch up) . I ordered the pancakes and my husband ordered their big breakfast, for the drink I ordered the Iced Mocha and my husband got the Iced choc . My iced mocha was delicious and I was very satisfied with it , my husband on the other hand didn't like his iced choc and say it's nothing special. Our food came out quick which was a plus for us as we're both hungry, our food was both delicious, I love the pancakes it was fluffy and I like the additional vanilla syrup on the side 👌🏽👌🏽
They queue up to get into Fuze - with good reason. Consistently excellent coffee, phenomenal scones and other cabinet food (haven't tried the menu), and - great taste in music. And crisp, friendly service. You'll be joining the queue after your first visit!
Bought an espresso years back. And just like any other cafe around, this one has a unique taste. I don't know what it is, but it's really good. I'm not really a coffee person myself, but this was good.
Found this hidden little gem tucked away in west aucklands te atatu,for those people wanting the best of both worlds bacon and salmon on the same plate that's right the same plate,not that often you get them both served as 1 dish with the all might famous benedict,I had no idea it come with bacon so I was like can I get the salmon please it come out and I was like mmmm sorry I ordered salmon she replies it comes with both so I'm like mmm can I get another 1 with just salmon please,so they happily replace it I offer to pay for other 1 because it was my mistake but they like no its fine,will definitely be back and coffee is awesome too thanks guys tops service and food 🙏
I'm a local in Te Atatu so I've tried all the cafes around the area and this is hands down my FAVOURITE café. Friendly staff, amazing food - what more could you ask for. Their scrambled eggs are the best I've ever tried - my favourite from there, along with creamed Portobello mushrooms, vegetarian eggs benedict, pancakes and French toast. All of my friends I've been here with have loved the food as well. The only downside is the place is a little small so gets quite busy but it's definitely worth the wait and they always tell you and apologize if there's any delays.
The pancakes at fuze definitely are the best hangover cure 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Give it a try if you're around the place. Gets a bit busy but it's worth it

Pretty aghast that I asked for a half portion for breakfast (one toast, one egg, one salmon) and the response was that she would still have to charge me the full amount $17). Coffee is average.
Been coming here since it opened! Everyone is so helpful, coffee is always good and gluten free options available.. Only qualm is it can get so super busy sometimes you can't get a seat! Love love love.
Food was ok but the service was great.. everyone smiling and looking like they want to help. Hard to find service with smiles and very helpful staff. Keep up the good work and we will be back :)
Have ordered here twice over the last 2 weeks and can only say good things! First ordered the Sweetcorn Fritters. The portion was large and really tasty, only thing I would suggest is to add some kind of sweet chilli sauce/relish as there was only a type of salsa which made the dish quite dry. But overall was super tasty. Second ordered the pancakes and OMG!! to say the least these are the best pancakes I have had! The marscapone & vanilla bean syrup was to die for and went great with the berry compote. A nice fresh flavour over the typical maple syrup covered pancakes. Added bonus is the fact you can order these meals over the phone as takeaway - great to pop in on lunch break when feeling like a proper meal!
Bruch for me at Fuze includes a sandwich and side of curly fries. Usually accompanied with a smoothie - very good. Their range of cabinet food is great; I enjoy ordering from the display as it means I don't have to wait long to get my food. I once veered from these options and went with the big breakfast - did not enjoy the greasy hash cake or the lamb chop (?) added on top which tasted earthy for lack of better descriptors. Friendly staff, and a great go-to for Te Atatu locals.
Went for brunch on a sunday. It was very busy and we had to sit outside in the sun but the food quality made up it! the coffee was decent and i ordered eggs Benedict and my partner ordered pancakes. The eggs Benedict was delicious one of the best i have had. the eggs were perfectly cooked and it was served with mushrooms, vine tomatoes and avocado on the side. The hollandaise sauce was a good consistency, it didn't run all over the plate, and it was served on top of a homemade hash brown, my favourite. My partner was almost equally impressed with the pancakes as well. If i had one complaint it would be the the hash brown was a tad oily but apart from that everything was superb, i hope to brunch there again.

Fettuccine is amazing..definitely a plate you can share, you won't be able to finish it. It is soooo good. I've been here for lunch, twice and it's been great. Small and not a lot of tables, but a very popular place...and it makes sense, the food is amazing.
Good cafe, was busy when we popped in this morning but we got our food and drinks fast enough. Hot chocolates were decent and good was tasty with serving size quite generous. A note for those who tend to order Big Breakfasts: this cafe has quite a large quantity compared to other cafes (which is a plus for some) so we actually struggled to finish our plates but I still find this place is great if you're really hungry.
Such a lovely cafe, great setting. It is a little pokey and because they are so popular it can be difficult to get a table but so worth it. Coffee is great but the star is the food. Everything in the cabinet is stunning, my favorite being the homemade pies. A great place to meet people in off peak times especially if you can get a table out the back which has been furnished beautifully to create a unique and lovely courtyard.
Passing through Te Atatu Peninsula on Sunday morning decided to stop in at Fuze Cafe for breakfast (our first time) and WOW it was well worth the stop. Pancakes were delicious, large, hot, with lots of berries and cream. Coffees hot and delivered within minutes of arriving. Staff were very friendly, always smiling and polite. Looking forward to stopping by again, well done Fuze !
In my opinion, the best cafe in the west! We LOVE their savoury muffins and date scones. So many delicious options on the menu, it's hard to choose. I usually order a hot chocolate but their coffee is awesome too. Good service, great food!
The wait can be long at peak times but well worth it! The breakfasts are great and the coffee is brilliant! It's our local and we are definitely regulars! (Always a great place to spot a few celebs as well!)
We live locally and of the three main cafs on the TAP, this is the most consistently good. It's become so good it's almost ready to upsize as it can get quite packed thanks to the friendly service and good coffee! Had breakfast there for the first time recently. The menu has a great selection and what we picked was very tasty. Plus its all day breakfast until 3pm! There was a bit of a wait, but we were told up front about this and didn't mind waiting. Definitely recommend this as the best cafe on the peninsula!
The best food around.... We come here all the time ...the eggs benny with mushrooms and spinach... Yum...as is the eggs benny with Haloumi and vine tomatoes. Cant beat this place coffee really good and hot and staff always on hand .. Really surprised at other reviews about service usually really spot on. My son has been travelling and still rates this as the best cafe anywhere... So been there twice this week for him to have his fix.....good wholesome homemade quality food... Best in the west by far
I come here nearly every week because I enjoy their breakfasts so much. I have to been to other cafes around west but so far Fuze in my opinion has the best food. Their creamy mushrooms are the best I've tasted, they definitely make great hash browns (home-made, not the frozen ones you get at a lot of other cafes) and all the ingredients are quality, from the ciabatta to the streaky bacon which is always delicious. The coffee is always great too and so is the service, which is always friendly. They remain consistent and that's why I'll keep going back.
Wow what is it with people that write reviews. One wonders ...... Fuze is a godsend to the west. In fact we live in Mt Eden and will travel to Fuze just for the great consistent coffee and amazing food and the service is always of a high standard. Yes the seating is limited but it is worth the wait. The experience of great food and coffee is hard to find even in Mt Eden!
Yet again, an awesome experience, most of the staff are lovely, though some could learn to smile, the food is just exceptional and worth the price tag, shame the cafe is so small, interesting to read other reviews, I would have thought it was clearly obvious it was not pushchair friendly from the minute you walk through the door and as for the people who thought they could eat food from elsewhere, shame on you for giving a bad review for something so ridiculous - I must become more of a regular
This cafe has the best most consistent food, in my opinion in Auckland. Fantastic every time. Coffee is spot on, and for someone who likes their coffee extra hot, ( much to the embarrassment of my husband) they get it right.
Just wish they had more outdoor space so one could stay there for hours and catch another meal 4 hrs later!!!
The service is ALWAYS friendly and cheery and that's what you want when you're paying for it. Only once since we've been there have we had to wait, and we were fully warned in advance by the lovely waitress.
The food is very generous in size for the money and for my 6'3 man always leaves him full, important!!
Overall I highly recommend over most cafe's.

wow, I'm shocked to read the reviews about unfriendly staff! We pop in to FUZE 1-3 times per month, and have found the staff very friendly and helpful, every time. Their food is consistently delicious and their coffees are fantastic.

although small, if they had a bigger site I'm sure they'd take off - because their food and coffee is the best.
we always order the same (creatures of habit) - scrambled eggs with hash brown for 6yr old, buttermilk pancakes (divine) and FUZE breakfast, plus a Phoenix juice, and 2 coffees for $60 - can't get better than that!!!!!
The coffee was great, staff were very nice and welcoming, and I had egg and bacon panini which was to die for. Thank you for making my cafe experience in Te Atatu a great one. Wish you could trade venues with Luscious Food Store as you surpass their quality and would be great for an outdoor play area for the kids.
Fuze has got the best pancakes! Staff are super friendly. Love the little outdoor area out the back where I can take my littlies! Big breakfast was so good too!
Superb quality food, friendly staff and a willingness to tailor dishes to your wants and desires makes Fuze a favourite cafe for me.
The brioche are to die for, coffee is top quality and tea is damn fine too (I'm an avid tea drinker so that's important for me!). Main dishes are updated regularly and are always a delight with great flavour combinations.
I recommend Fuze highly to anyone looking for a great cafe with a relaxed atmosphere out West.
Fuze is the friendliest , most community minded cafe on the peninsula. Let me tell you a story - I was stuck for making food for my wife - I was talking casually with the chef and the next minute he'd come up with an amazing idea of how to do a great meal and loaned me a cook book.
In terms of the food. You cannot beat a)their curly fries b) the Haloumi cheese breakfast c)their hearty warm soups.
The people are warm, authentic, generous and real and it shows in the food - down to earth sophistication. Perfect New New Zealand food. If you go to te atatu and don't go - it's like going to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower - it's the real deal.

I look forward to going to this cafe. The menu has some unique items (plus generous portions) and the front cabinet has more nice food displayed. The coffee is great and is made by the manager or owner (I'm not sure if she owns the cafe but she's the manager). Her staff follow her lead well. All staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The staff notice opportunities to provide extras such as things you might need for your kids. There is plenty of parking.

Best coffee and food on the peninsula by far. Owner is lovely and friendly however the staff could do with a hurry up when she is not around! The eggs bene is the best I have ever tasted! just wish the place was bigger and a bit more lighting as some times it can feel a bit dull inside.

Tried breakfast here in 2010 and didn't have a great experience, but gave it another chance. The repetitive music has gone which is an improvement. The coffee is so much better and no longer bitter. Always good to give a place another chance.
In 2014: Visited for a takeout coffee while passing through Te Atatu. This cafe was really busy and thriving, the service was quick, efficient and friendly. The coffee was so good, decided I must visit again.
Met up for a quick business meeting with a colleague one afternoon, so there wasn't much in the cabinet. What we had was delicious. Coffees were perfect. The service was efficient and friendly. The staff regularly glance over, maybe attentively checking to ensure everything is satisfactory.
Recommend this cafe for a place to enjoy a coffee, or cafe meal. We visited in the afternoon and think most of the food was gone from the cabinet and didn't see any vegetarian food. Maybe too late in the day for it on our visit. When next in Te Atatu will choose this cafe to meet. This is one of the more intimate and stylish cafes on the Peninsula and worth the visit.

Wonderful food, excellent coffee and a buzzing atmosphere. The service is always quick and efficient, but not always that friendly or welcoming .. certainly when its busy the team seem very stressed and a bit snappy. But having said that, we keep going back!
I try to visit Fuze whenever I can. I love their coffee and I always get fantastic service. My favourite spot is out back in the booth seats...sooo comfy.

My Partner & I recently moved out west and decided popped into to the Fuze Cafe for the first time this week. We were delighted to find such a superb cafe so close to home! The service was fantastic, with friendly, efficient staff!The quantity & quality of the food was great! And as for the coffee, it comes highly recommended!

I have been eating here since the day it opened and always found the staff friendly, the food of good quality and the coffee great. It has given Servo some honest competition and in my mind beats them hands down on all points..They have just covered the outside part at the back which is heated so that increases your chance of geeting a seat as it is getting mighty popular and sometimes this can be a challenge.
Lunches are excellent..good sized portions..tasty food..reasonable prices..

Such an amazing Cafe located in Te Atatu Peninsula! I have been going to this cafe nearly everyday recently and Chia Latte is my favourite since I do have to limit caffeine consumption.
The scone is yum and I love the staff they made me very welcome and very passionate!
Highly recommend this cafe and their coffee one of the best I have tried across Auckland! BEST barista in the West!

Although I've only lived in the west for only a short time (a year) I've always been curious to take a look over at Te Atatu to see whats going on, on a rostered day at home the Queen & I decided to pop over for late breakfast on a beautiful summer says morning ... out of all the cafes on the strip this place looked inviting with a few patrons waiting patiently for their roaming coffe fixes ... we grabbed a table outside in the sun and order the Big Breakfast & Vegetable Haloumi, mocha & Soy flat white ... thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and tastes of our meals, outstanding coffee and a beaut Peach & Lime smoothie which I was very stoked with! ... great staff, food, location - highly recommend!.

The food here is always a treat!! Fresh tasty produce and the staff are always fabulous and friendly. Great value for money for the big Fuze breaky. The mushrooms I believe are soaked in balsamic or something equally interesting. It gets packed very quickly too. Best times I cannot say as every day is different.

Husband thoroughly enjoyed his salmon eggs bene, beautiful presentation, generous portion.
Vegan Fuze - again good portion. Enjoyed that is was also gluten free & vegan. Falafel was quite dry, difficult to cut. GF bread was delicious and lovely generous portion of avocado
Curly fries yum - would be nice to have a plant based aioli alternative.
