Delicious food and great service. Fantastic ambience!!and to top it, a complimentary Turkish delight! Highly recommend this place.
I found this place to be exceptional both in service and food! Highly recommend going there if you want to have a great experience.
Ottoman is talk of the town, situated in the heart of the Auckland city. Been there couple of times since it’s opening last last week :). Every time I visit this place I am amused by the positive energy and welcoming attitude each staff present on the floor. The food is great, great ambiance and not to forget the tap . It’s busy but the owners will make sure you are looked after. Highly recommend a must try and after that you will fall in love with this new place. Well done team Ottoman.
Beautiful location, awesome food and perfect host. Highly recommend this place for social drinks and business meetings. I’m in love with this bar and the food to go with the drinks.
Amazing place, amazing food, people and amazing staff !!!!! Will be coming back 100%!
First of all, how cool is this building?? The ambience of this restaurant is gorgeous. The menu isn't too long, but it's tasteful. The Grilled Halloumi dolma took everything in me not to scarf it down; it was so delicious, and the textures were perfect. When the entire table stops talking to eat you know the food is grand.
Highly recommended!!!
Awesome food and service recommended everyone to go and try for themselves
Great Spot..amazing food menu and drinks..
I am a big fan already...been there 2 times and just loving the ambience, service and the FOOD . If you are a food lover and socialize, then it's the place to be. Just fabulous!
Friendly warm service and amazing food. Can’t wait to return
Excellent service with delicious meals. Highly recommended
Great venue , another NAZAR GROUP showcase
Great vibes and food. The cauliflower fritters, bread and dips and baklava were all delicious. Fast service too.

Comfortable and relaxed seating. Foods are perfect when you want something nice and light. Cute and attentive staff~ Zomato gold works well~ Will be back to try other dishes~
This place is a real hidden gem! A cosy and comfortable seating area, quick and courteous service and the food is amazing! I had the Jordanian Lamb which was very tasty and tender. The blend of flavours was spot on and the portion size was good.
It's such a shame the Queen's Rise precinct isn't signposted or advertised very well, this is a really nice venue and could do well if marketed better. I'll definitely be back though, I need to try everything else on the menu!
Service was slow and seating for 6 was awkward with round small round tables. Not recommended for sharing.
Really good food and 10/10 service! Friendly staff + our meals were promptly served. We ordered the lamb (jordanian & albanian) and liked them very much! Will definitely come back!
About as 5 star as you can get for an up market food court. Quick deliver, great food, and interesting enough decor. We’ll be back
Love their food! So many options and everything is so flavorful! Sometimes when they are busy service is a bit lack but no other complains
Nice seating and spacious bar, with good service and quality food. I had the beetroot and pumpkin salad, surprisingly lacking in both those vegetables but everything was well presented, fresh and crisp though the dressing was a bit too tangy and acidic for me.
The food was beautiful, thought the service was a bit slow. But the food was gorgeous.

Coffee was pretty nice. The barista lady was super friendly and polite. I liked the their unique interior design compared wij other restaurants at queens rise. Food was pretty good.
Chose to dine here because it was on Zomato Gold ☺️ Food was lovely —we ordered the sauteed chicken with apricot and pilaf ($24). However, we were baffled as to why diners were only allowed to order one platter ($32) per Zomato Gold redemption —the restaurant could have earned $32 if we had both ordered the platter, instead of just $24.
Loved the lamb kofta (meatballs). Nice ambience just after lunch rush hour. Staff was friendly and capable. No issues using zomato gold here.
Wanted to order the platter and the feast but the waitress advised we could only order one of those and then anything else that was like under $23 with Z gold not both of them or two of either which was a little confusing and I may have missed it but couldnt see that in the terms. Just felt like she was gaming the offer to give less of a discount. We got the feast with beef and chicken skewer and the Jordanian lamb. The food was really outstanding. Great flavours. Couldn't fault it. We were meal checked by a male staff member who was really pleasant.
Very unique restaurant. the deisgn tries to match eastern europe mediterrain style. even the cuteries too. food is nice, i dont normally eat lamb too much, but the meat tastes excellent. worth trying as something different to usual western cafe/restuarants or asian/chinese food.

This is another amazing place to have lunch or dinner at. It has both a restaurant style and food-court style seating options. The food is absolutely delicious but may not be as healthy due to quite a fair amount of oil contents. Do try the Baklava however, it's a dessert and it blew our frickin' minds.
Having recently purchased zomato gold, my aim is to try one restaurant at a time. Ottoman mezze was one of the choices from the zomato gold options. This place which is rather difficult to find is neatly tucked on level one of queens rise building, even though it is bang opposite the entry escalator you will still miss it! Service was a bit tardy in the beginning as me and a friend reached quite early for dinner, they caught up though as the restaurant begin to fill with dinner crowd. Food was delicious, we tried the mezze platter (easily shared between 3-4 people) which offered a variety of dips, olives, falafel, pickles and Turkish pide. For mains we shared the Sultan Faith’s chicken, which was such a wholesome dish with rice and chicken gravy. The apricots and sliced almond garnish gives this dish a pretty royal look. We ended the meal with baklava and ice cream, the baklava although delicious could do with some more pistachio.
Came here on Tuesday night with a few of my friends. Save to say that we were all extremely pleased with the food and service. Servers were all very attentive and friendly. Food was great. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to people we know.
Great food and customer service. The Jordanian lamb is a must get - pulled lamb on hummus with some flatbread. Great flavours. Would come back.

This place was a bit hard to find when I first visited. It's hidden in Queens rise by New World on Queens Street.
The restaurant has a really nice set up but the only issue is the size of the tables are way too small if you have more than 2 people. You will need to ask the staff if you can have an extra table for more room.
Food is amazing here! My favourite is definitely the Jordanian lamb dish. Prices here are pretty reasonable for what you get.
Service is hit and miss when the owner isn't here. Staff are more attentive when the owner is in the restaurant, otherwise, it can be quite hard to get their attention depending where you are sitting.
Definitely recommend everyone to come here for their food!
I decided to come to Ottoman’s with two friends and my bf. One of my friends got the lamb burger, my bf got the imperial kebab and my other friend and I got the Albanian lamb kofte. We also got the trio of dips to share. The lamb meatballs were really good and the Turkish pide dipped in the tomato sauce was delightful! To be honest, I felt the hummus in the trio of dips was a bit plain and under seasoned but the tzatziki and taramsalata was probably one of my favourite dips I’ve ever tried. The service was pretty good! With Zomato gold, this restaurant is worth visiting again :)
I’ve been here many many times now and the service and food is absolutely great! The coffees are always good, baklavas are amazing! I love the Jordanian Lamb dish here. The service is always quick and all the staff are so good at topping up our water. Always asking how the food is, its great. Highly recommend this place, you guys are great!
Superb atmosphere, excellent customer service, delicious food with premium traditional dishes! Big portion. Loved the chicken dish. Food took a little bit long, but totally worth the wait!
We went there on a Sunday morning. Very quiet and nice atmosphere. The food was nice and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended will come back again.
Excellent portion sizes and prices. Lovely staff. Excellent location in the centre of the city right by the bus station. Very clean. Highly recommend.
Tried the slow cooked lamb and chicken burger. Chicken was quite nice and smoky :) and the lamb was actually super flavorful and soft. Super good deal with zomato gold :)
This place has a great atmosphere, tasty food and good service! I ordered the lamb burger, a meal that comes with curly fries as the standard is always going to be good! Very tasty and juicy pulled lamb. Well be back for sure!
Love this place. Never had any Turkish food before, it's well worth trying. Very good foods and services. Will definitely visit again and try something different.
Great restaurant situated in the centre of the Auckland city. Been their with my family for dinner. Very nice food and good service. Food prices are very genuine. Will be Back for sure. Highly recommend
We had the Mother Earth Salad with Chicken and the flavour combination was delicious albeit very expensive at $24 and we waited over 30 minutes to recieve it.
One of the best mid east restaurants in Auckland. Beautiful Turkish cuisine. Fresh and yummy.
Decoration remind me of Istanbul restaurants.
Lamb was great and would definitely come again.
Good food and good service. Nice ambience, attentive staff and tasty food. Had the mezze platter with lamb and the grand bazaar feast.
Definitely worth the visit, definitely coming back.
Delicious food, great portions, simple and full of flavour
Perfect ambiance and service.
It’s definitely a must around town.
Most people just go to Ponsonby or Wynyard quarter because of the hype and miss great places like this.
Congratulations team
Ayooo! This place is mad chill and love that Mediterranean/ Turkish vibes. They had decent music and will definitely come here again.
I ordered the lamb burger. The portion sizes were great and got some decent curly fries too. I'll admit the burger was lacking some sauce! It was pretty dry but apart from that its a standard burger.
Zomato recommend this place but to my dissapointment there was no turkeys on the menu. Didn't leave disappointed. Nice and simple menu with some good drinks. In the heart of queen street but also very quite from the hustle and bustle so makes good for a meal.
Price: 5/5
very cheap and if you have zomato gold it comes to about $10 a meal.
Environment: 4/5
felt like I was in Turkey, if turkey was another part of Auckland. Nice and cosy seating. Could do with some bigger seats though. Was about 40% filled but couldn't sit on the soft seats for the true Turkish experience as they were reserved in the advance.
Experience: 4/5
Can't go wrong. Just don't expect any turkeys 🦃.
Would come back here again and be a bit more adventurous and try something more exotic.

This visit was not my first visit, I’ve ordered food here with the mealpal package.
The Albanian Lamb Kofta came with 5 meatball and 2 slice of Turkish pide. It was filling enough for my male colleagues and me. We ordered a side cauliflower fritters to share.
The food at Ottoman Mezze Lounge is always flavourful.

Located in the centre of Queens Rise, Ottoman has a Turkish menu with many fave dishes. Service was friendly & efficient & our visit was very enjoyable.
We ordered the lamb kofte, lamb salad & lamb with flat bread. All our dishes were flavourful & well balanced. The slow cooked lamb was a stand out
The interior was nice, the staff were friendly and efficient. The Jordanian lamb was very good, the meat tender and flavourful. The Imperial kebab beef was a bit tough, though food presentation was good. Overall a 3.5/5
Used zomato gold here and felt very welcomed.
The staff were the highlight as our waitress wasn’t too attentive or not enough. She was very nice and made the whole experience here extremely pleasant.
We sat on the couches inside and felt really cozy and relaxed and was a great spot to catch up with my friend.
The food was also really good!
Generous portions and flavourful. On top of that it felt really clean and healthy which was also nice too. Definitely want to come back and try some more dishes:)
Thank you for the delish dinner

The Jordanian Lamb was super flavorful, tender and juicy. The chicken dish was light yet delicious. The pilaf rice was amazing.
I ordered the Elderflower Collins cocktail. Super refreshing! I wish they had garnished it a little bit. Was a bit on the pricier side.
Would definitely come back.
Great ambience and friendly staff. Kebab and curly fries was yummy! Sultan’s Chicken lack of flavour but overall we enjoyed our meal there. Good deal for Zomato member too but can’t be use for dessert. It’s my first time trying Sol beer 🍻 totally enjoy it!
#zomato gold#
Got the Jordanian lamb which was very nice. Also got the Imperial Kebab which was lacking flavour.
Food: 4/5 for Lamb, 3/5 for Imperial Kebab
May come back to try different options
O-M-Goodness this place is such a good find! Came here for lunch with my work colleague this afternoon and as soon as we arrived we were instantly drawn to the warm and cosy setting inside the restaurant. There are so many food options to choose from… we settled with Sultan Fatih’s Chicken, Jordan Lamb as mains, and some curly fries to share. The food came in quite big portion and very elegantly presented. The chicken is very well seasoned and cooked to perfection – extremely yummy! The staff are also very friendly and made us feel so welcoming. On top of everything we also get Zamato Gold discount - will definitely come back again 😊
Came here for dinner. Love the food fresh and yummy and the service was great. Made me a falafel burger which was not in the menu
Ambiance was pretty good. Overall had a great evening.
The lamb is to die for - have gotten this every time. Bit of a hidden location but great atmosphere. Decent value on drinks. Great vibe for one on one dinners or group hangs.

Such a pleasant discovery in the heart of Auckland CBD. Interesting breakfast options and reasonably priced. Nice authentic interior. We will be back.
Jordan hummus - deliciously slow cooked lamb with a lovely hummus. Flat bread was pretty average but a great meal and would order again. Note: it’s a small meal so not great if you’re really hungry.
Salad - very filling! The chicken was seasoned perfectly. So tasty. The huge pile of salad had a fresh light dressing. The creamy feta and cold pumpkin complimented the dish so well . Loved it!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I’d say this place is very pleasurable with authentic food. Also love the fact I could taste the homemade-ness & very healthy.
The lamb is incredibly tasty, highly recommend!
Chicken is also nice, smooth and light in terms of taste
It's close to my home as well, so I would consider visit more frequently
We were very happy with Ottoman Mezze Lounge, great light taste, nice setting and friendly staff. We ate the Jordanian Lamb and Lamb Burger with Curly Fries
Pros:
Lamb very well cooked in both dishes.
Curly fries very crunchy and yum.
Good portion sizes.
Overall, great value for money.
Ingredients tasted fresh and healthy.
Cons
None! Will definetly go back.
It's our first time to have a meal at Queen's Rise. I had the Albanian lamb kofte - lamb meatballs in a rich tomato sauce with a side of Turkish pide. It was lovely & I wish to have a few more meatballs - a greedy wish! My wife had the pulled lamb burger with curly fries. The fries were excellent - crispy & with lots of flavours; I tried some of them & couldn't agree more.

This place was a nice little find, tucked away in queens rise. I tried their Jordanian slow cooked lamb which was really tender and falling apart. The service was quick and the staff are friendly. Well worth a visit!
Friendly staff.... Lamb was cooked beautifully. The hummus tasted nice as well. We went there during weekday lunch time. Took a while for the lunch to be served. Food was well presented.
This place is a gem!! We ordered two grand bazaar feasts with beef skewers, adana and falafels and everything was absolutely amazing. The beef was so tender and the adana was flavorful. Love the sauces and the yellow rice. All the ingredients were very fresh.
We also tried the baklavas and they were really good.
This place makes me wanna travel to Turkey. We really enjoyed our dining experience here.
Third time back to this restaurant, they never fail to deliver delicious food. Highlight was the Jordanian lamb. It wa extremely flavourful, sitting on a bed of hummus which adds to the creaminess of the lamb and accompanied with fresh tomato salsa which gives a nice acidity to the meaty dish. We also had the Albanian lamb meatballs which were nicely flavoured. The tomato was abit on the sour side for my partner but I thoroughly enjoyed how the acidity once again added to the meaty dish. Highlight was the Turkish Pide it came with, light and fluffy with crunchy exterior.
Pulled lamb burger and curly fries was delicious! Fries were crispy, and the meat extremely tender. Bun slightly toasted and great sauce to round it off. Meal was warm and fresh.
The best baklava I have had. Always fresh and warm when I purchase them. The pastry is flakey with a sweet honey center. The love with the nuts in it!
Came back again to try the Grand Bazaar Feast, Imperial Kebab and Jordanian Lamb after gym. It was a very satisfying post-gym meal it is pack full of protein. Highly recommend others to try it.
We came here for lunch and tried the Sultan Faith's Chicken and the Ottoman Breakfast. It was very delicious!
This place is classy and lovely to go out for dinner/lunch. It is located inside the Queen’s rise building. That food court itself is so beautifully designed l restaurants facing each other, Ottoman’s interior, seating arrangement and decor is superb. One likes authenticity in food but other factors make it even more charming.
The food was delicious and service was quick. We loved the whole experience and as I say we love playing safe, we orders our favourite Mezze platter and it was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.
I ordered the Cypress Bruschetta from their Breakfast menu as I was craving halloumi and it hit the spot! The Turkish bread was soft but crispy on the top, and the sujuk (I had no idea what this was but it is spicy sausage) and halloumi goes well with the light tomato salsa. It tastes healthy and refreshing and the place is the perfect place if you’re after a Mediterranean cuisine that won’t break the bank!
Also, I need to point out that service is great here, I walked in close to 3.30pm and ordered from their breakfast menu thinking it was an all-day option but they let me know that they are switching over to their dinner menu shortly but they will make the breakfast dish for me anyway! So glad I tried out this place :)
PS sorry the photos are crap.
Wish I knew of this place earlier!!! Tucked away in queens rise it’s definitely a hidden gem. Got the meze platter which had bread, pita, hummus, taramslata, tzatiki olives and feta felafel and cigar borek. The hummus was additive the felafel was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cigar were filled with potato and feta and delightful!! We then followed it with the grand feast and chose the beef skewer. I did have to share it though it was a lot of food. Ended the meal with baklava which is probably the best I’ve ever had. I did try to order the creme brûlée but it wasn’t available as they had just opened after the Christmas break. Would definitely go back
We went specially for the ‘CrownMelon Dolma’ but unfortunately that was no longer on the menu. We ordered the Jordanian Lamb and Sultan Fatih’s Chicken and both dishes were amazing, especially the Sultan Fatih’s Chicken. The presentation was beautiful. Located at Queen’s Rise in Queen St, this restaurant is a bit like Elliott Stables, a posh foodcourt kind of setting amongst other restaurants. The ambience was nice and warm and very Turkish. Love their brass cookwares and tablewares.
The food was amazing and service was even better, the manager on duty (Aseem) looked after us well and recommended us the dishes we should order...would love to visit again soon.
NEW REVIEW:
As said, I thought this place had potential and visited again - was not at all disappointed, and the quality of food, service and everything else had improved significantly. Very impressed at the transformation.
OLD REVIEW:
Came here for dinner, service was really good and I quite liked how well they knew their menu and options. The atmosphere was also really good. My friends quite liked their meals, but my chicken dish just wasn't that tasty or spicy, despite the wealth of ingredients.
But I think given they are 2/3 there and it's mostly good, it's worth another shot a few months down the line.
We had a really good time at Ottoman...the staff were lovely, the place had nice decor and a relaxed feel, but most of all the food was fantastic! I'm not one to give out 5 stars easily but I'm more than happy to give one in this case.
I'd recommend it to anyone who's having a craving for good Turkish/middle eastern food.
Great food, really great coffee and friendly staff. This has become one of my favourite places to come for brunch and coffee, the bar is a really comfy place to sit. You get a lot for what you pay for and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Make sure you get a coffee and try the baked eggs!
Good options for a vegetarian too :)
We went for dinner here on a Friday. Attentive friendly staff. We had the pulled lamb and it was delicious. Good wine list, comfortable seating. They were pretty quiet today.
We were welcomed by friendly staff and were seated on a comfortable corner of the restaurant. I ordered the falafel Syrian wrap and it was delish! Some of us had the lamb meatballs which they enjoyed as well. We didn’t have to wait long for our food either.
We were all so full after lunch, so we bought some takeaway baclava to eat for tea, they were amazing!
Great food and location.
Excellent and efficient service, the entire time I was at lunch, my water cup was always refilled. Food is divine and tasty. Worth it’s price. Clean, neat and cozy place with ample seating areas. Really enjoyed the lamb kebabs and trio and dips.
Best Mediterranean food in Auckland, service was really quick. Had Jordanian lamb, it was so nicely cooked and presentation was amazing. Recommend this place
Lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. I had the Jordanian Lamb and found it delicious. The lamb pulled apart easily and was so tender! My stepson had the chicken Syrian Wrap and he gave it the thumbs up.
We had a really good time at Ottoman...the staff were lovely, the place had nice decor and a relaxed feel, but most of all the food was fantastic! I'm not one to give out 5 stars easily but I'm more than happy to give one in this case.

Good food. Had the Grand Bazaar Feast and the pulled lamb burger which was very delicious. The feast was good and the service quick on a busy friday lunch time.
The price for the pulled lamb burger is good for what you get ( 16$ ), the feast ( 28$ ) is good but i feel like a bit to pricey. Try the burger for sure though
We went there on 12/09/2018. Delicious Turkish/middle eastern food and lovely and helpful staff. We went for brunch here and ordered quite a lot.
To start with, we ordered the trio of dips. The portion side was really good, and taramasalata dip(salmon) was finger-licking good.
Then in the mains, we ordered the Menemen, ottoman breakfast and a falafel burger(good option for vegetarians). Once again the portion size we got was more than we expected and all the dishes had a genuine Turkish touch with silver-like looking cutlery.
Loved the food here and the hospitality from the manager on duty.
Also the ambience was quiet and lovely.

Don’t miss checking out Queen’s Rise, a laidback luxury laneway-style dining precinct. After taking a peek at the large open kitchen, we decided to walk in to grab lunch at Ottoman.🐰
Both the drink and food menus feature all the hallmarks of the Ottoman cuisine in a fresh and contemporary way. We settled on Cauliflower Fritters, a Mezze Platter with freshly-baked Turkish pide and pulled lamb, and Grand Bazaar Fest with Adana (a long, hand-minced lamb kebab)😋- all these dishes are great for sharing – which suited our group well & everything we ordered was pretty darn tasty👌🏼. If you are not keen on sharing, try the Jordanian Lamb with the flat bread – a must-try on the menu & you will be impressed…👏
They also do great coffee ☕️ which comes with those pretty Turkish delight🌸...
We had a fantastic and memorable dining experience or rather post work drinks and snacks whereby we ordered the Ottonan Platter featuring hummus, babaganoysh, grilled pide, olive, sugars borek and other popular dishes. The food was delicious and the wine selection was impressive.
The male staff was at times over attentive compared to the female server. He tended to be too suggestive for the purpose of cross selling however I still enjoyed our experience. Highly recommended!
Coomfortable and relaxed seating. Foods are perfect when you want something nice and light. Cute and attentive staff~ Will be back to try other dishes~
Really good food and great service. They are Zomato gold partners too. 👍
The grand bazaar feast and kofte were awesome. Did feel the dish was slightly overpriced though.
I never knew this place existed right in the middle of the Queen Street. Owners did a great job to decorate the place with the Turkish decor. It has a very nice atmosphere. We only tried a few dishes, it was nice but not overly exciting. But, I'll definitely try it again next time when I'm around.
I got a meat ball kuftah, it was a bit spicy that I liked.
Good taste, not too fresh though.
I think I liked the same food from Mezze bar just cross the road.
The price was a bit high. Paid $19 for that.
Great little place located in the new queen's Rise food court. The entire area is less like a good court and more like unique small restaurants. The food was excellent and the pricing was great considering the quality.
