Finally made the trip out here to have dinner here, and the experience was amazing! Excellent service, and excellent food. I tend to judge Thai food based on Red Curry and Pad Thai, and we ordered both tonight. And yeah, wow, both tasted incredible! Will definitely be coming back here. Do come check
Thai Torbay was serving their great food in Take-Away format after a big wait for lock-down NZ to let them back. Even though it wasn't the full restaurant the food was amazing as usual. Highly Recommended 10-10

Always a pleasant experience, family run, the default might be for the kiwi pallete but you only have to ask for it to be porphyry Thai and you will get the nicest food outside of Bangkok. Awesome place, lovely family
Wow what a surprise! So unassuming from the street but really great food! I've eaten Thai in a lot of places, including Bangkok, and this is really authentic and more like 'Thai' food than European Thai so well worth going for a visit!

I have always enjoyed my meals when I eat at Thai Torbay, then again, I always order the same thing, Pad Ka Pao, which I would highly recommend. The staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is very well presented.
The only draw back is that it's slightly over-priced which means I only eat here e

My wife and I and several friends dine at Thai Torbay several times a year, and we have never been dissapointed by the food or the service. It's a very nice, friendly, family restaurant serving good food at a reasonable price.

A great place with a family feel. I always order the green curry and it tastes awesome. Really popular for take aways which are cheaper than eat in.
A lovely restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff that provide excellent service. Go eat there if you want a great meal
The food is deliceous and well priced, the staff are friendly and the owners are very experienced and genuine people. Love the curry puffs and the Mussamen Curry!
This has taken me too long to write this, I have been eating from this restaurant for 14 years and it has been consistently delicious, never have I had a bad one or for that matter not even a middle of the road one, always excellent 110% recommend
Lovely experience at Thai Torbay Restaurant. Great food and cozy place, with a wonderful waitress who made sure we had everything we needed.
Everything is just so awesome.. Me & my friends enjoyed their food and stayed there a bit long.. Definitely two thumbs up.. Best thai resto i've ever been in auckland so far!!
