Loved this place big time.
Good price comparison to other buffet restaurants.
The staffs were polite and most importantly the food was exceptionally great.
Would love to re-visit !!
Yummy dinner with great company . Loved the dumplings and sweet and sour pork ! Dessert was interesting . And birthday boy ain't for free
Thanks for a great venue Gengis Khan! Great place for end of season sports team dinner! Will be back for sure
Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was so good as well, I’m sure we all enjoyed it for our work function. Plenty of food available as well and picking what you want them to cook was fantastic.
So good for family's!! Friendly staff, great price :)
It was a lovely clean restrant.lovely food selection and very nice staff.
Celebrated our 2 year anniversary here as my boyfriend and I love food. Great value for money and the food was delicious and cooked extremely well! Logans a great chef. I wanted to eat more but my stomach let me down!
A total meat fest and I loved it. Can't wait to go back!
Mean feed! I'm dead, thanks. Logan's the best chef!
Its an amazing place to eat with family... A good variety of meat and veges, but food is a bit too oily sometimes. There fries are probably one of my favourites and their sauces are alright... Overall Gengis is a really good restaurant👍🏽
Not a fancy place to eat but the food was better than expected and the staff are very friendly. Good place to go for a quick meal, not too expensive.
Gengis Kahn is my favourite place (along with Lonestar) for a casual, relaxed meal. The marinated lamb is delicious and in the buffet section I always get coleslaw, fries, and noodles or rice. To get a five star, they would have to start using free range meat.
Came here a few days ago for my brothers birthday, as soon as we walked in it was boiling hot the one fan that was on wasn't doing anything for anyone. The selection was nice but the already prepared hot food was cold, I didn't touch the salad. After ordering over priced drinks, a Long Island ice tea was $17, we started to make our bowels and we found a bug in the veges and the seafood was "off" they replaced the seafood but that was frozen not fresh, and they didnot replace the vegetables. There were no signs on the marinated meat, which lead me to grab spicy pork and I had to eat it as there were signs everywhere saying if you left food on your plate you will be charged $5. We left after only having 2 very small plates each and two of us only having a small scoop of ice cream.. Very disappointed as that meal cost $30 and we only stayed for an hour
Went for a birthday, service was good, food on the other hand was a bit of a problem, once the food was cooked and went to go eat it we put some baby corn in one of the meals and it tasted some what off and not fresh, the pre-made fried rise was a bit hard and dried out so it was a bit tough to eat, as for the drinks we had one mocktail, one L&P along with two Pineapple Juice, the juice tasted love me it had some alterative to milk and made it taste a bit weird.
As we have been here before it is still a good place to go to and would not mind visiting again.
Well the concept is very different from other BBQ restaurants, they give the chance to the customers to choose the stuffs to be made. Lot of options in meat, vegetables, sauces, herbs and sides. In the end, if you are aware of the food components, it is a must visit. Thumbs up :)
Good food taste , high quality ingredients, good price.
Not a romantic place or to go for any celebrations
Service is ok , the dessert quality could be better other than that one f the nice places to go.
Will go again
Plenty of different meat, veggies and sauce options. The beef and lamb was a bit stringy, really leftover meat quality. The chicken was better, and really liked the sweet potato in the syrup. Plenty of salad and veggie options also. The desserts were a bit underwhelming, brownies were not nice and neither were the pancakes. Overall though the buffet style is really good, a really filling and nice main meal overall.
Great food, great people and a great experience. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is exceptional along with the service. Will visit again!
■ Good for big groups
■ Good food
■ Short on dessert variety
This place used to be popular in my high school years and we would come here for end of season celebrations with our sports teams etc mainly coz they cater well for big groups and coz of their all you can eat buffet! But they've now made it 25?? Whaat... It used to be 20! Dont really come here anymore but I did have an end of year Christmas dinner for work last year and the food was just as good as I remembered. It was also my first time trying Pina Colada coz our manager got us a free bar tab :D BASICALLY they have a bucketload of variety and ingredients to create your own dishes so you fill up your plates with whatever veges, meat, seafood & sides ya want, next flavour it up with herbs, sauces, seasonings and all that good stuff and then you hand it over to the group of chefs cooking by the hot plate and VOILAA ! They cook it up for you before your eyes and add in some flames here and there for special effects :D Good for big groups n you pretty much gotta go with a really empty stomach + a huge appetite.
So good place for parties and get-together. Love all fresh foods and hot foods as well! So yummy.
We can choose meats, veges and even sauces for bbq grill. And also there are pancakes and ice creams for dessert. It is well worth the price :)
For $25 all you can eat is pretty worth it. There's salads, soups, hot chips, breads, sushi and noodles to start with which are already cooked and if you go at the right time like we did, really fresh too! The service was reasonably paced and friendly and to be honest for $25 what more do you expect? The pancakes were just as yum as I remembered and the selections and quality were pretty normal! All in all I would go back if in the area!
Hey guys its very yum time here. You get it your own bowl and you fill as much you want with meat and the noodle and then the man cook it. This taste so yum and I want it some more. When you finish the meat and the noodle you eat the ice cream. The guy cooking the food get angry if you try to get the ice cream and the mean all together. This can be the only complain, why he care what I am eating? To make this the great night I having my birthday and it free for me. No student discount for Bhupinder my friend but who care because I am eat for free.
Nice and Awesome restaurant for family dinner which I had last week.
My boys & girls loved it, they desire to go again for birthday party.
Variety salad and meats as well, mix it for BBQ by stylish chefs.
Their "Special Gengis Source" was amazing taste as well.
I had really good time for my family dinner ever ~~Easy parking too.
I love the food and the service I received coming here
Good fresh food and not going to break the bank
Warm atmosphere
Definitely a good place to go to for dinner
A great place for large birthday parties or group gatherings. Gengis Khan is not your normal Korean BBQ, instead it's BBQ with a Mongolian twist. For $25, you really do get a feast. It's pricy for people who can't eat a lot but for all you gluttons, here's the place to be. They have a wide variety of meat & vegetables combined with their special sauces, all made right in front of you. They also have an abundance ice-creams which you can help yourself with, comes with cones too!
For the price you pay, this is a great deal! Great to see all your veges and noodles being stir fried with your favourite sauces before your eyes!! The only downside is that after a few combinations, the flavours can kind of get sickening. Also, the wait is just ridiculous during busy hours (especially Saturday nights) and you kind of lose your appetite while you wait in line. But great to take your little ones for an interesting experience! They have great made to order pancakes as well!
Just outstanding value for money. Food was presented fresh and signs guided you to the best combos from the buffet for anyone unfamiliar with the Mongolian buffet style of dining. The staff were friendly, conversational though we dined early so it wasn't so busy. I imagine it would be on a different night. (We dined 5.45pm on a Wednesday). Loved the sushi salad and appetizer options which I considered bonus really and the ice cream bar to accompany the cooked pancake desert option was double bonus. Very good value for money.
Love this place. Awesome selection of sauces, oils, meats & vegies!! The atmosphere can be busy and loud and that is mainly because it caters for medium to large groups.
It is good value for money and much better quality than other buffets and buffet chains around!
Arrived to find hordes of people outside.Shown our table by staff, on plating up staff shifted our table from being in middle of large family gathering to edge table.Had to get own water couple of times. On 2nd round to bbq, staff informed us singing/dancing was to be performed by the other diners. We were now only guests not part of same group, who filled restaurant. We enjoyed the Tuvalu islanders singing /dancing, great people, even gave us some birthday cake!
Service not great here, we liked the BBQ food, but for $20pp we can get our own water, are more than happy & will return.
This place is amazing. A massive selection of delicious sauce, meat, vegetables and heaps of other stuff. I have been to similar Mongolian BBQ's restaurants overseas and none of them have as much much, as good quality with as good sauce as this one. Their pancakes with ice cream are amazing as well.
The staff are friendly though sometimes when I arrive I am left standing at the entrance for a while waiting for someone to notice me.
Overall I would say it is the most delicious restaurant I have ever been to! Do yourself a favor and skip the soup and entrees and go straight for the meat, veges, sauce etc.
We had a lovely meal at Gengis Khan this week. We recently visited a similar restaurant and my kids loved it so much we decided to try a local one.
The food and experience was excellent.
I will not be returning, however. The reason for this is that I was shocked that my 11-year-old daughter was charged as an adult. Apparently children are only children until the age of 10.
I felt that $19.95 was very expensive for a child that ate one very small stir fry plate and some ice cream.
I would have returned without a doubt had she been charged the $12.95 child price. I felt the extra $7 was over the top and has wiped out any chance of repeat business.
I wanted to email the restaurant direct, but couldn't find an email address for it.
The food is so nice, as there is a wide selection of fresh vegetables and meat to choose from. The chefs are polite.
Love this restaurant.
The fact that you gt to create your own food AND eat as much as you want. Its also surprising how reasonably priced it is. 20 dollars for a meal. Lacks a bit of atmosphere but the food definitely makes up for that 5 stars from me
Best buffet for quality food at a good price !
