A very chic, fresh eatery on the North Shore, Scout seems to tick all the boxes. The interior is invitingly decked out in contemporary pastel shades and light wood with a sprinkling of greenery throughout. And one cannot ignore the startling number of pretty pink accents from the menus to the table
Great food, great service. There’s a coffee loyalty scheme so get your card stamped and leave it there so you don’t forget next time ;)
Delicious breakfast! We had the Big breakfast and the French toast, can recommend both! The coffee was nice :)
Suggestions:
- The big breakfast could do with a relish or sauce or something.
- The sweet french toast could be cut by some acidity like a berry compote, it's sooo sweet (but delicious!)

Our first visit to Torbay so we decided to grab a little lunch. We ordered the Karaage chicken with salad and the Scout breakfast.
The Karaage chicken dish was huge and I didn’t manage to finish it all. The pickles in the salad were delicious.
