There are many choices, but I found myself getting a Classic Carl meal and Chicken Tenders. The burger was full of flavour, and had a lovely meat patty, as always. The fries were delicious, and the chicken tenders were AMAZING!!! I recommend that each time you come here, you get the Chicken Tenders because they are a wonderful side! 🍔🍟
Perfect location. Good place for a quick bite somewhere near schools. Better dining ambience with best value. Burgers are not bad and comes with some nice combo.
Ordered online the Classic Carl and criss cut fries. Very easy to order and can pay in advance. Can be made ready to pick up from 10mins. Classic Carl's patty is surprisingly juicy and the burger is nice and saucey, the criss cut fries are delicious and goes well with the burger. Such a cheap deal. You can get a cheaper value meal if you want. Service was friendly, efficient and quick.

This place is so busy all the time especially at night when people aka my friends 😅 are drunk and come for fast food. The big Angus range with portobello mushrooms was so yum. The bun and the fillings were not mushed. Pretty good food I would say for meals after drinks

This is a busy branch at the corner of IMAX building by the main entrance (previously Borders book shop). Love their Classic Burger and fries with the skin on. Also love The Big Carl when I am really hungry. A nice place to grab a bite to eat when you're in a hurry.
My experience here was alright. The Jim Beam burger was nice. The sauce was dripping everywhere so I'm not sure if they should reduce the amount of sauce they put but I did like the taste of it so will head around to try another burger sometime for sure.
Tried Big Carl today and it tasted delicious! Will come back and try different flavours. Staffs are nice and patient there! Comfortable environment as well.

what really sets Carl's jr apart from other surrounding cheap burger places is the refillable soft drink station - definitely not watered down soft drinks
The burgers have a great flavour to them and recently this branch has implemented a student deals situation which is ideal for broke students the day before pay day
has a tendency to get kinda dirty but only due to the huge amount of people coming in and out
I do find that it pays to look out for particular deals as some burger + side add ons can become quite expensive. I try to stick to the advertised deals

best carls jnr outlet in auckland. maybe the original location in south auckland is just as good, friendly staff quality food even though they are always packed. always get the lo carb version and lettuce leaves around the patties are always big fresh and juicy. the skin on fries have a unique texture and flavor, maybe different strain of potato.
The location is great. The range of products is good with good customer service. The burgers here are of good size. It is busy here from time to time with a good dining in capacity.

Probably one of my favourite fast food chain in Auckland just for a nice filling burger the Memphis burger is pretty good the beef isn't hard to digest or chew just nice and the bacon and cheese to go with it is just fantastic
Portabello Mushroom Burger: MOUTHWATERING.
I couldnt say the best Burger in town but the burgers here are phenomenal. Some though have overwhelming flavors that you couldnt appreciate the patty anymore. But overall, loved their selection of burgers.

The burger place is big and shiny and clean. But the part is always full and crowded. May be thats because inly one guy behind the cash counter and so many people to give order.
I didnot try majority of things for being NOT a beef eater. The chicken burger was too bland and was bot with best taste.
I would have given them a higher rating if they have their range of chicken only burgers.

Carl's junior burgers are definitely better than Burger King or McDonald's ones. Yes it is a bit pricey but everything is fresh and cooked carefully. The lettuce is fresh and the beef is genuine and big. Definitely try their milkshakes as they make those on the spot and they are delicious. My personal favourite is the Memphis burger but I wouldn't recommend the fries as those are not as crispy as those you would get at McDonald's.

Good big and filling burger. Just like any fast food franchise nothing special but what more can be expected from a burger franchise. Chili cheese fries could be spicier to make it better.
Doesn't matter what the other reviewers say, their burgers are the best. I've been there twice and still managed to maintain the quality of good burgers and fries.
There might be rumors about too much oil, too much fat or too much meat, but one thing for sure about Carl's Jr is that their burgers are tasty! Having been fed with mixed reviews about this popular American burger joint, I finally succumbed to their fried goodness by trying the Memphis BBQ thick burger today. Oh my it's MASSIVE! However the charbroiled beef patty was grilled near perfection-juicy and tender at the same time while the crispy onion strings and pulled pork just brought the burger to a new level! It was actually scrumptious although I have to admit it gets a bit sickening halfway as there is a lack of fresh vegetables that usually appear in burgers.
The waiting time was also quite long when there weren't a lot of customers in store.
Overall I would rate it 3.5 and probably will go back to try a different burger next time. 😊

One of the more high end fast food franchises out. Taste and portion sizes are definitely better than BK and Maccas but then again youre paying more bucks for it. I like their specialty burgers and I usually like to go for their Teriyaki or Chicken&Bacon burgers and shakes.
I brought my brother here today and a few times before that coz he looves Carls and we usually like to come here together. But its only been 2 or 3 times or so in the past coz although their menu is tasty, its also jam packed full of fat and calories and youre likely to feel a little groggy afterwards.. The staff have always been really lovely! I haven't been to any of the other branches but the cleanliness and maintenance of the Queen St joint could be a loot better!! I reckon the portion sizes used to be quite a bit more upsized as well but hmmm..Overall its good for big appetites n for something different from your average burger.
I absolutely love their criss cut nachos!! They are not always advertised but I 10/10 recommend you to ask for it and try it! Its like nachos with criss cut fries and jalapeños. So irresistible!
I also love their guacamole bacon thickburger! Basically just love anything with avocado in it to be honest :D

Food quality is better than all the other fast food chains, while being cheaper or priced the same. Staff are always friendly and service is great. The burger king across from this has been deserted since Carl's jrs opening. And for good reason.
I can only rate this place in comparison to other fast food chains. Talking strictly fast food, Carls Jr is by far my favourite within the Auckland City area.
The staff are friendly, the store is generally pretty clean and you don't need to wait long for your food to be ready. The fact that the food is brought to you at your table is a nice touch that isn't often seen in most fast food chains.
As far as the food goes, I have eaten here a handful of times and can say it has always been tasty and enjoyable. The presentation of the food can sometimes be sloppy but again I don't expect much from a fast food chain. Over all enjoy eating here and will continue to go back.
I have been to a couple of other branches in Auckland and they were rather disappointing. However I wanted to give the Queen St branch ago and to my surprise it was ok. Spotlessly clean, very friendly service and while it did take for my burger to arrive. It was fresh, tasty and worth the wait. Won't rush back but I also won't avoid if caught short for a burger.
Was reading GILES C.'s review and really wanted to give my opinion also.
I have tried Carl's Jr multiple times in the past few years, and have tried the queen st store 5 times since it has opened last month.
Let's start from the walk-in feel of the store, it is correct the line is long, however the staff do process orders quite fast. It is a newly open store and does attract a large crowd.
Giles C. did mention the burgers do taste like burger king, I do agree with this, however the burgers definitely are not dry. The only burgers that do taste like BK are the plain standard burgers. If you are more adventurous with your burger choosing you will not have this BK dilemma.
I do recommended ordering the more unique flavors, and the thick burgers especially if you are a person with a large appetite.
Overall, it is my favorite fastfood store on Queen St, followed by White Lady.

First time in a Carl's Jr. and it was great. The service was good and the burgers tasted great. The patties were angus and tasted much better the the Mcdonalds angus burgers. Very clean and you you have free refils. Pleasently surprised! The burgers were served quick and were nicely made!
Always like the beef promotion, sometimes $7 can get Angus combo, a lot a lot nicer than M. Love the spacious seatings.

The service is pretty great, although I wish they had the specials written out somewhere instead of just reading them out. Sometimes the servers' accents are hard to understand and you miss out on the items. They should also have a system for keeping the door closed as it usually flies open - in windy North Beach, this can be annoying for diners.
The small plates and specials are usually pretty great. I loved the scallops, mussel broth, and poke bowl. The chicken, curry noodles, and wasabi noodles were also amazing! Overall, I really like this place.
It's one of the biggest Carl's Jr. Branches here in New Zealand. The place is cool but the lights are a bit dim which makes it sleepy for people eating alone but not that it really matters. I ordered their combos and although it's taste are generic fast food burger taste, it's still good.
I enjoyed it, very spacious eating area and friendly staff.
Always love it. .it's got Bangladeshi test in the burger.
