As tourists, this was a wonderful experience and one of the best pubs my wife and I found in Auckland. Great drinks and fantastic service - the staff were helpful, friendly and (gasp) cheerful! We felt warmly welcomed! A lovely, cozy place where guests are family. Didn't eat there so can't speak
Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Atmosphere was a little flat at the time we visited and no noticeable x factor at the place hence the 4 stars. Cool private room downstairs for functions/dinners if you are looking for a venue.
Stopped in with my mates for a couple jugs. Speights was ice cold and staff were polite and fast. We stopped in on quiz night and it was a blast! We had a great time. Was kinda bummed out that literally 30 seconds after quiz night ended, everyone left. Still a cool spot though.
You'll definitely get more than 'just' pub grub!

Pretty good bar, a popular hangout for work mates on a Friday. Decent pub food too

A bit dated looking, but lots of TV's and space outside. No pool table, but good for a pint.
