Popped into Pandoro for lunch, heard good things around the workplace. It is only a 2 minute away from my work so it is very convenient for times when I don’t bring lunch from home.
Staff are lovely and the shop has a lot of options to choose from. I picked the sausage roll and Carmel slide and both were delicious!
Love how the sausage roll is flaky pastry wrapped around a cabanossi sausage. Also really enjoyed the caramel slice, works great with a tea.
Overall really enjoyed Pandoro and will visit again!
Good coffee and even better bread and pastries! 😋 one suggestion for improvement is if there would be a more comfortable area where people can eat-in. Current setup is that there are four stools where people pass through or wait for their orders, so not that conducive to a good catch-up coffee session.
Would come back for their almond croissant and apricot danish, nevertheless 👍🏼
Busy bakery especially before work as people grab their bread and coffee to go. I enjoy their pecan brioche but my to-go is the almond croissant. It is slightly bigger than other nearby cafes and it is a creamier soggier type of croissant. Even though this small bakery gets busy there is always staff waiting to take your order.
Lovely little store in Queen St. This location is not far from the bus stop where I catch the City Link bus so I always popped in for a takeaway coffee and a chicken veg pie on the way to work in the morning. They also offer many selection of cakes and muffins which is fantastic.

I always loved stopping by and buying my favorite Lemon Curd and Pistachio Shortbread. My cuppa tea would never be the same without these two. Tasty!
Came in for lunch today with a few friends. We ordered a passionfruit cheesecake because it was recommended by a friend. The passionfruit cheesecake did not disappoint, it was creamy and the base was crunchy. We also ordered some savoury items like the tomato scone, and a tart. The scone and tart tasted like average compared to other bakeries.
What was really delicious was their hot cross buns. They tasted very soft and I could taste the chocolate flavour inside. One bite of it got me craving for the next. My friend had agreed on that as well. I would definitely come again for their hot cross buns and to try their other bakery items like the boysenberry cheesecake and fruit tarts.
Love their wide variety of delicious buns, breads, pies and treats. Freshly baked and it also smells wonderful. Their cheese and mince pies are my absolute favorite.
I've stopped at the queen street outlet almost every morning on my way to work. They are fantastically consistent. Their coffee is rich and full bodied and in terms of cost are similar to cafes around the area. The food here is amazing. Yes you pay a little more but the quality is consistent and that's so difficult to find these days. The brownie pie and mince and cheese pies are my favourite. The staff are professional and always cheerful. It's a breath of fresh air in a city where often you feel like the barista is doing you a favour for being awake early morning.
I visit this place almost every other week on the way to work - my usual buys are their quiches, pies, and some of their sweet treats.
Great bakery with friendly staff and a great selection of bread, pastries, cakes and pies.

The place is accessible since it is located in Queen St. area. I normally pass there after church and I just can't resist dropping by and buy their cheesecake! Their cheesecake is just so creamyyy and yummyyy, though a bit expensive ,it's still my favorite!

This place is always busy and it's no secret as to why. There's so many fresh baked goodies every morning... from breads, to sandwiches and delicious treats! We're guilty of grabbing one of their amazing cheesy bread sticks and hot chocolate to get us through our morning meetings!
Tried out their Hot Chocolate this morning, it's pretty much the same as all hot chocolate around the cafes here, but this one tends to be more hotter which is perfect for the winter days. Looking at their bakes, they seem pretty onto it with their bread which counts a large variety.
I've only tried their sweet breads here. I don't like that these are cold and not warm. Probably can ask to get it warmed but it is quite average. Their prices are also too high I think. Went here only once because I wasn't impressed enough to come back.
I have only tried their pies here, and I'd say the are quite good. Crispy on the outside, not greasy, and the filling is yummy.
They have some beautiful bread that I really think worth trying, as well as the sweets.
Perfect place for a quick grab and go coffee, came here a few times before work and they never made a bad coffee. Would recommend people to try the gluten free cup cake, that stuff is lit!
Am not familiar with NZ coffee, but I am sure that this large flat white was awesome. Not too bitter, just exactly good taste. $5.30 for a large size. However, it's a little bit hard to find out paper tissue there.
Coffee is quite good, not the best. Selection of pastries, sandwiches and loafs of bread is excellent. Bread quality outstanding, not something you will find a lot in Auckland or New Zealand for that matter. Negative: slow service. It gets very busy in the morning but the staff does not seem to feel the rush. Can get annoying when you are in a hurry to get to work.
You always know what you're going to get at Pandoro: good coffee, quality baked goods and a great range of artisan breads. I popped in for a mid-morning weekend snack and took away a latte and a mixed berry muffin with almond slivers on top. I'd happily recommend both and the service was quick.
Coffee here is cracking. Lovely selection of baked goods and very reasonably priced
Their florentine is awesome at $3 outstanding shame they were closed so long over the holidays but good to see them back!
Pandoro is a nice Italian bakery, which offers various sweet and savoury food, I had a donut with rich cherry sauce filling and a coconut macaron with a dark chocolate outlayer. Both of them taste so good.
Coffee was average but the pastries are nice, albeit a bit pricey, but expected for a speciality bakery. Our go to place for a fresh loaf of bread for a Sunday cook up. Service polite, small store and limited seating, so don't expect to linger around for too long.
The first shop that I went to since I arrived back in Auckland. Cute little place in the heart of the CBD. Drooling with the stuff that they are selling. I end up buying the berry muffin and it was to die for.
I'm fussy when it comes to my coffee but I gave it a try and im glad I did! Keep this shop in mind when you want to buy good quality coffee.
Customer service was brilliant and I felt extra special when I knew that the manager was the one who made my coffee!

I love a good coffee, and I've found them hard to come by in lower central Auckland unlike in Wellington. But these guys do a hell of a good latte. I visit two or three times a day on average. Their Italian sausage rolls are devilishly good, and who can pass up their cheese scones?
Problems? They don't cope well with being busy and don't have a great system in place for queues of people getting coffee. I once waited 15 minutes for my latte and there were only 6 other customers in the store. Be prepared to wait if they're busy. Questionable service.
Really enjoyed the couple of pastries I've tried from here, it is on the higher price scale and the quality is better than supermarket quality so I think it's accurately reflected. Wouldn't go for the cabinet items but breads and baked goods are a winner.
Food and coffee is always top notch as is the service - personal and friendly. I visited in the afternoon and my coffee came out quickly and was excellent, but when I tried to utilise the in store bar fashioned seating, I couldn't. I didn't even sit in the end, being forced to stand wedged up against the bar top, as customers tried to line up and/or view the cabinet, obviously inconvenienced by my presence. I won't come back for more than a take away which is such a shame.
Love it. Best mocha in Auckland !! Great fresh bread and awesome friendly staff !! The pastries are yummy and for every five ( reasonably priced) coffees you get a free muffin or loaf of fresh bread !! Amazing ;)
Friendly flirty person who served me, might be the owner. Lovely Mediterranean style decor, with a lovely aroma of bread. Plenty of artisan bread selection, though i am not qualified to review one yet. Last visit brought a delicious Pecan Pie, great, like the pastry underneath, the filling itself was a bit gummy and could do with more browned sugar taste, but was essentially delicious and very generous in the whole pecan topping. The mini feta muffin was uninspiring but not too bad.
Will look foward to trying out more of the selection
I visited Pandoro twice in the last week for a quick breakfast and was very impressed with their service. All the staff were super cheerful for 7am in the morning, and the coffee was excellent!
My chocolate danish was possibly the best I've had while the pastry on the chicken and vegetable pie was super delicate and flaky.
Friendly staff and very nice bakery delights. Had my coffee within minutes. The location is great and there is a nice view from here, and lots of people passing by. Definitely give it a shot, or two if you need a good caffeine fix. Will see me here again...
A nice selection of excellent breads and pastries! We were especially happy to find they have great bagels (something hard to find in New Zealand). They also have great coffee. Highly recommended!

Good for breakfast. There are several kinds of breads, quiches, cakes and cookies. I had a spinach and feta quiche and mini ginger cake, and they were good. My quiche was kindly rewarmed as I ordered.
There are two or three chairs to eat in.

Their chocolate cake was exactly what I wanted! The coffee was just right as well. The place is tiny yet busy, the staff is nice and efficient. They made my day and added colour to hectic CBD experience. Well done!
This is a fabulous little bakery. The Pastries are to die for and the coffee is fantastic too. It is really busy in the mornings though so expect to queue for your coffee. They are very efficient though so you wont wait too long

Grab and go kinda place. Love the crunchy ham and cheese sandwich (quadrato) which is actually 2 layers of crunchy layers with ham and cheese. Simple and tasty. Wish the place was bigger and had a spot to sit.
Love their cookies, biscotti and cakes. The passionfruit cheesecake is so delicious! Decent coffee too.
Love their food, fav cake is their orange cake 😍😍😍, a little pricey, but you expect that with great quality and they have the best service 😀.
