Such a gem! Small and cosy, family run Japanese kitchen. Super well priced for the delicious food. I’d say this is now an institution in Birkenhead that makes the neighbourhood that much more special. Just go there, you won’t be disappointed.

An absolute gem, one of my favourite spots in auckland. Birkenhead is so lucky to have this place. The food is always delicious, service always smiley and they make some of the best dumplings in town.
I love this place so much. I go here very often for my fresh sashimi fix, they always have the fish I want. Their green beans and spicy broccoli are also delicious! In fact everything I have tried here I have loved and it is always consistent in quality. I'm super lucky to live so close to my favour

Food is nice seems authentic similar to eating in Japan. Portion sizes are also similar to Japan (not as big as western portion sizes) Usually have to order more dishes than I would normally to feel satisfied 😉
