Caspian pizza and grill is in Auckland near howick. The veges are truly crisp and freshly prey, the dishes are varied and their pizza are something to add to a bucket list.
Fettuccine carbonara was tasty, average waiting time, but good service!
Been here few times for the kebabs or on rice Iskender type. Food is lovely no complaint here portion is also decent with plenty of meat! Keep it up guys 👍🏻
Had a cheecky lamb kebab last night and my friend hand chicken kebab on salad. Food was delicious, fresh and delightful. Going back again to try the rest of the menu
Got a shish chicken to go and it deserved a solid 4/5. Chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. It had a nice charcoal aroma from the grilling and it was juicy and tender. Topped off with my choice of sauces and rice, it was delicious. Price is a bit high but you do get big skewers of meat.
Had to wait quite a bit as they do get busy from all the takeaway and phone orders. Service was very friendly. Pizza seems to be a very popular item.
If you don't mind paying a bit more for high quality food, I would def recommend this place if you want pizza or kebabs.
Best Carbonara Fettuccine in East Auckland yum yum yum. So tasty with lots of sauce and bacon/mushroom. Called them and ordered and was right on time.
Awesome place to eat. Always friendly staff, food always tastes great. Great sized portions at a reasonable price. Chips are not greasy and pizzas are great.
Just got 2 large pizzas from Caspian....one Fungi and one Quatro. The best pizza's we have had for a very long time. Perfect base and very generous filling. Two large pizza's easily feed 3 adults. Great service too.
Had takeaway kebab, and it's a big meal.
Taste was great and will be back for sure!
Also home made desert was ace just had to give it an hour after eating mains before tackling it, as full after the kebab.
Pizzas look loverly too! This will be my next purchase here!
My experience here is a solid 3.5. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, garlic bread and some wedges with dip. All the food was really good (portion size was average, not generous) but the waiting time was a little long which shaves a few points off my rating! Also be mindful that it will probably be more comfortable to get a takeaway than to dine in as the place is rather small.

i had a long day definitely wasnt cooking at home so i went to this restaurant and order 5 kebabs two persain spiced lamb, one silk road satay and caspain special large. the kebabs were the best out of all the kebabs i have had in Auckland... i was given option to choose my sauces so picked 4 it totally depends on how much sauce i would like on my kebabs...so i ticked correctly ..i was amazed to see the lettuce and other salads were so fresh and the meat was freshly grilled the smell made me mesmerized.....the persain spiced lamb was very tasty big serve with taziki and humus ....silk road satay had juicy chicken ....the pizza was amazing first time ever i found a fresh base .... definitely going back middle eastern is now on my top list .....i highly recommend this restaurant to all of u out there have a try ones u will never stop....... ....i give u 5/5

I've just returned from Naples,Italy and this is up there with the best. Great value, excellent service. The pride of Howick.

I had no idea, what the food was all about, now I know, and I am so elated. Such is the quality of food at the Caspian. Have been a repeat customer eating there and also the odd takeaways. The chefs take excellent pride in noting accurate orders even offering to cater to individual tastes and preferences. The veges are truly crisp & freshly prepared, the dishes are varied and their pizzas are something to add to a bucket list. The meats are marinaded in a very beautifully flavoured style; truly unique to the Caspian style of cooking and I admit one of my favourites too. I have noted that the chefs will offer a wide range of food choices based on their interaction with clientele. If you liked it with more of one item they cater to your choice and taste, now that is an endearing trait that one does not come across too often in such cafes. The food makes you yearn for that taste. The portions are always excellent, the rice is beautifully done and no matter which dish I have ordered, I have come away with finger-licking good food, proud to say, I truly enjoyed. I also enjoy their just desserts, and I am absolutely impressed. A 10/10 for the excellence in quality variety quantity dedicated hospitality and service. Overall one of my highly recommended Howick eating spots. If you seek a truly Caspian adventure, this one ticked my list of the tastiest food so far. Must be some secret recipes there. I think the chef deserves great praise and you need to try Caspian and believe it for yourself. You might even be inspired to write a review like I just did. Another visit recently and we were delighted to taste the Persian Lamb, Mezze mix, Silk RdSatay, Shish Chicken & the ever popular Pizzas. Every one loved their meals and the service was once again warm welcoming and most delightful. Cannot stop praising this gem of a place & it is very popular for takeaways too!
Great takeaway love the Mediterranean style, haven't tried the pizzas yet. Nachos are HUGE kids could share one. Reasonable prices the people are lovely too!
A gem of Howick, Caspian shows little until you step through the front door. The decor is clean and simple.

I ordered the Moussaka ( Lamb Lasagne), and wow was I surprised. Compared to other lasagne, this one was not layered with pastry but with vegetables. The bottom layer was potato, middle mushroom and the top layer carrot. On the top of the lasagne was a Kumara mash with melted mozzarella over the top.
The lasagne was accompanied with fresh vegetables, hummus and saffron rice.
Middle Eastern is quickly becoming one of my favourite cuisines and it's thanks to places like Caspian. Fresh and tasty.
Showstopper: The details with which the meal are served is fantastic: the addition of saffron in the rice, a hummus which contained a sprinkle of black pepper and the use of mushrooms in the Moussaka.
Overall grade: A
Caspian kebabs are huge and great quality food at a great price. Personally always go for the satay chicken kebab which is $14 and I never finish it! Friendly staff, should open for lunch times though !!!

Brilliant, we went here for the first time after a recommendation from a friend, the staff are very calming and friendly, best of all the food is just amazing full of flavour, great sizes, full of colour, its ticks all the boxs and finally a Mediterranean restaurant that is what it says in New Zealand, not like some of the others who haven't even heard of tabouli!!
The only thing it misses is the view of the Mediterranean but you certainly tasted like you were there!! we will be going back again and again and again!!!

Always excellent food either pizza or kebabs, top service and great food. Worth the drive across the city for it. $15.00 for a large pizza really good value for your money
We have finally found a great, local kebab place. After a lot of takeaway disappointments it was a relief to find this place.
Generous portion of chips and I can't wait to go back to try the pasta or pizza.
Best to phone in an order as we did wait awhile for two kebabs and chips but there was a constant stream of customers while we waited.
The food here is delicious. Constantly tasty and always friendly service. Nice to have a healthy option for take away. I literally crave their chicken salad
This has been a consistently good restaurant, it is always busy with both dine in and takeaway customers (although there are only limited tables available). The food is tasty and it makes a healthy option for take out.
We are a regular at this restaurant, they sell the best kebab on rice!!! Their carbonara and seafood fettucine are also nice and the portions are very generous. We eat at least once a week from this place, I highly recommend it!
