First time there for dinner and loved it, prices are great, portions are very generous. My partner got a scotch fillet, I got ribs & wedges and beer battered fish for my son, everything tasted great, great portion size, great crowd, we watched the Blues game while having dinner. Will definitely be back again to try something new on the menu.
My husband and I go there often for date night which just happens to land on their Tuesday $20 T-bone night. Food is a great portion size and staff are always friendly. Love this place!
Good food, friendly staff. A bit costly but generous in portion. If you don't want to smell cigarette this is not a place for you.
My children enjoy playing billiards while we are waiting for our food.
Really enjoy the food here it’s amazing good tasty pub meals my go to for a bite to eat while watching a sports game these meals are the T bone steak which is so good nice tasty gravy on top also the chicken schnitzel is good for the price highly recommend this spot
I'm not sure why we have not been here before last month, but we haven't and we lived 5 mins away from it for nearly 4 years now. Now that we got to know the place we have been visiting every week and tried few different items in the menu from brekkie to the dinner. All were yummy and very affordable!

I am quite regular here for rugby matches as I live very close by; food is great plus they have my favourite beer - Erdinger.
We do come as a group for tuesday quiz and have a great time.

The fact thay you can watch different types of sports on all angles of the whole restaurant while you're eating dinner is definitely the place for me. Plus the food is good. Scotch fillet was cooked just the way I like it. Yummy! Good location, allthough parking can be a bit difficult sometimes during peak hours. Friendly and accomodating staff. Yep! Food and sports are definitely a good mix.

The Mayfield Sports Bar offers an excellent range of $20 daily specials (usually including beer/glass of house wine), and Friday we went for Fish & Chips, with a pint of lager, and served the traditional Kiwi way in newspaper (except for the fact that it was pouring with rain outside you could almost believe it was summertime at the beach). The fish (2 fillets per serving) was cooked perfectly - light, flaky and moist with light crisp batter - and the fries were also very good.
The ambience is that of a sports bar, and there are plenty of screens available. The service was very good and the meals arrived without delay. If you are looking for good fish and chips this is a good option, at a reasonable price.
We have also been for breakfast and there is a good range of the usual suspects, and a special $10 menu, from which we chose a cheese omelette and the bacon & fried eggs. The omelette was served with grilled ciabatta and full of cheese - plain and simple but sometimes that's best. The bacon and eggs on ciabatta toast, served with a free coffee, were excellent. Well cooked and tasty meals to be had on any day of the week, at very good prices.

Probably the best burger on the North Shore and, therefore, the world. I don't usually use a knife and fork whilst eating a burger but there was no other option. I have been told that I have a big mouth but there was no chance of taming this beast with teeth alone. A true Kiwi burger with everything and perfectly cooked and fresh produce. Kurt is THE MAN! :-)
I really enjoy the food and atmosphere here at this bar and eatery. Good vibes and i like the option of inside and outside. I have tried a few things here unfortunately havent got photos for them all. Pretty awesome how u guys have different deals during the week with the food menu and also the staff are very friendly. Will be back again cheers!
Excellent spot. Well priced food and drink, staff are fantastic, huge props to the manager mikara for running a tight operation. Will come back her Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I go to this bar 6 days a week and I love it. Staff are friendly and polite. Drinks are at a competitive price and daily specials are excellent. Ribs night on a Wednesday is one of the best I've had.

Very large and bright. Ventured out on a cooler evening. Although the bar/restaurant is open and airy the addition of overheard heaters was very welcome.
As it's a bar, no wait staff to greet you. Just grab a menu and head to the bar.
Bar menu split into starters and easy bites. I opted for the sliders. Nice to be able to choose one of each. Beef, chicken and fish. Meat patty was handmade. Fish was fresh and chicken juicy.
Partner opted for the sirloin steak and commented on how tender it was! My son had the fish and chips. Plenty of pieces and lovely and fresh.
Mayfield do a themed menu special each night. Very well priced too.
My favourite Friday night haunt! Staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make your evening more enjoyable. Will see you again this Friday!
We went today for lunch and it was great. Staff are super friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, we had the ribs,chicken wings and side of gravy ....so good and seriously best gravy ever! Thinking of going back for the fries and gravy tomorrow. Real cool and relaxing atmosphere too. Yay finally glenfield has a nice pub!
Came here to watch the Joseph Parker fight. The staff were awesome, the pizza was delicious and the service outstanding! Love the clean bathrooms and the interior, decor and atmosphere 10/10.

Place makes really good coffee! Staff are chilled. BBQ's every Thursday with legit steak sandwiches. And $10 Pizzas on Saturday make a great place to eat and relax and watch sport. Recommended for all people.
LOVE our new local!! Have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal has been great value. Awesome quality food and service. A great range of food, cheaper bar food and also full size meals, something to suit everyone. Tuesday quiz nights have great atmosphere and loads of fun with lots of teams. So glad this place has opened and wish it well.
Not a run of the mill sports bar, yummy food and great staff! Definitely our new local for lunch! Pizza's are awesome and the meals are quite big! All you can eat ribs for $20 on Wednesday keeps the boys in our office very happy!
Had the pan fried fish for lunch which was cooked to perfection. All food is delicious here. You can relax and enjoy in a great atmosphere with a great chef and super friendly staff who take good care of you. I will be back :)

Fantastic little bar. Had caramelized onion and blue cheese garlic bread to start and 220g steak. Bread was devine, just enough blue cheese, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Loved the potato skins with the steak. Great service, clean and tidy premises and all under $80 for 2 persons with beer!!! Highly recommended and I'm going back at the weekend for breakfast :-)

Amazing place for dinner or some casual drinks with friends, the staff are very friendly, the food is better than some restaurants and the service is top notch, in the last 2 weeks I've spent nearly every 2nd night coming in for either a few pints with friends with some bar bites (very tasty) or getting a restaurant quality dinner with my partner, I highly recommend coming here, you won't regret it!

Very large indoor area with TAB rooms well off to the side of the actual restaurant. Large outdoor dining area with large screen TV as the main feature and a long table with highstools to sit on. Great for groups, usually 1 or 2 sports teams having a beer and dinner after training when Hubby & I have visited. There's much more seating around the sides of the high table in front of the sports playing where, even with the roadies of guys you can still have a comfortable conversation with whoever you are eating with. Nice positive atmosphere and 5++ for their service. We visited 24th Feb and there was only 1 young guy serving all the tables plus ensuring there were disinfected even when removing your own plates. He wasn't hard to get a hold of for extras as we did 2-3x.. always had a smile and didn't write anything down yet remembered our orders even though mine came with 2x special requests!! He definitely deserved an award for fast, efficient yet super friendly service!!
Foodwise: They do breakfast, lunch & dinner. They also have an extensive bar snacks menu. I've never eaten breaking there but have sampled a lot from their bar snacks, lunch and dinner for the first time last night

Best tasting ribs I have experienced here in NZ. I was in doubt in trying these due to previous experience however was determined to give yours ago. Then BAM! The sauce on the ribs were absolutely amazing 😍. The ribs were cooked as ribs should be, meat literally falling off the bone with its succulent tasty yummy sauce. I don’t usually eat coleslaw however this was very tasty with nicely cooked chips👌with awesome hospitality. I would be sure to share my experience with others of a high recommendation. I will be returning to at some point for Wednesday All you can eat ribs for $20. Heads up to the Chef, keep up the tasty amazing food. Thank You.
Was a yum and reasonably priced breakfast menu. Was not sure how the quality and quantity is going to turn like but I ended up impressed with the overall experience.

All I can say is visit this place. Friendly team. Food is outstanding and good value. I come here three to four times a week. Always for food. Some of the meals.could be served in five star places. The Team in the kitchen pump out a new blackboard menu ever week. Tbone Thursday’s is a favourite from the daily specials. Beer, steak, salad, chips for $25. Delicious food at a great price. I can’t resist $12 bacon, eggs and coffee for breakfast
