Ordered Murgh Methi Malai. Clean Subtle flavours. Surely an Indulgent main dish. Like the concept all main dishes comes with complimentary Rice, Naan bread, salad & a poppadum. Very reasonable pricing.
After reading the reviews, thought of trying out this new take out Spice Sutra.
I ordered Murgh Handi (Chefs specialty) & coastal style lamb. Superb taste and generous amount. Absolutely satisfied my taste buds. Coastal lamb had a mix of lamb pieces and mince which made the dish more flavoursome with special sauce.
Will definitely try again.

Bought take away from Spice Sutra on 17Oct for a gathering I had at my place. Apart from the great taste and their quality of food, What amazed me was they do not use any food colouring for their preparation nor the use any MSG. Which is great especially for children's. Their Innocent food packaging (which is made from plants) was just so perfect for the environment and something that amazed our kids. ( after use packaging was mixed with the soil and was decomposed)
Ordered takeaway on Saturday for dinner. Matt on the phone was prompt, courteous and helpful. The food arrived within the timeframe indicated on the phone, a bit earlier. No mobile Eftpos and had to pay cash. The packaging was environment friendly, which is a very good thing for me.

Methi Malai Chicken-good, flavoursome but very very tiny pieces of chicken(more like mince) and quantity of chicken was very very less. Left feeling dejected
Lasooni Palak Gosht(Lamb)-good portion, taste and quantity, although a bit on the saltier side.
All dishes were reasonably priced and came with rice, naan, salad and papadoom

Wow! Am very impressed to find good Indian in my neighborhood. Serving is super generous, price is reasonable and they even use compostable takeaway containers, what more could I ask??? Of course food is very tasty. Now is my favorite.
Great food with a taste of home. I am in love with this place and have been there few times since it opened. Tandoori chicken quesadillas, malai kofta and butter chicken are best in Auckland. To top it up they have biodegradable containers for takeaways and loyalty cards. I would definitely recommend this place for takeaway.

great food and service. Totally in love with Frame grilled Tikka-prawns. They knows what their customers want. Recently tried Mango lassi and felt like a treat for my taste buds..They use 100% bio degradable packaging and they do loyalty discounts! One of my favorite takeaway places in Auckland.
What impressed me the most is the thought! If you are conscious consumer or otherwise as well, this is the perfect takeaway for food and satisfaction, great in quality quantity and taste. What more? You can also do your bit by reducing your footprint and go green with their 100% bio degradable packaging. Also they do loyalty discounts, bonus!
Went to this place after reading their review on blockhouse bay community face book page. Food was really awesome with generous quantity. They use biodegradable takeaway containers and that is Cherry on the top. We tried their coastal style sukha gosht, murgh methi malai and malai kofta. All the mains comes with rice, poppadums, butter naan( 2 toasted pitas) and side salad. Butter naan is not available yet so they are serving toasted pitas. Totally value for money if you regularly buy takeaways.
