Lamb shank was good, but could be better. It's tender but not soft enough to cut using a wooden fork and a wooden knife on a paper plate, and worse it made the whole thing unpleasant in the process.
Ate here with a small group, we were very impressed with quality and quantity of the food. Really good flavours, the meats weren't dried out and everyone was full.
We had the bacon toasted sandwich, small roast pork dinner, lamb shanks, roast beef roll and a couple of apple crumbles between us.

Had the fried chicken with roast veges, beautiful flavour and texture just the right amount of seasoning in my opinion. definitely the crispiest fried chicken I've had from any roast shop and great tasting gravy on top, 4/5 and I will definitely reccomend and return.
I have always love the roast pork in this place. It is the best one i have tried among the roast pork out there in auckland. It can be quite salty for some people who prefer a blander taste but definitely the best one if you really want it crispy and yummy. They have other food aside from the roast
Great customer! Beautiful, large serving for only $13.50. The best roast I have had 'not' homemade!! Also a lovely large piece of crackling, most roast places are not generous! I will return!! Thank you 😍😍👍👍
Taste & quality is often very good. Only a few times I have been disappointed.
A downside is the price. It's gotten very expensive compared to a few years ago.
Best roast and affordable prices. Yes the guy is a plus since he puts heaps on your plate. I come here at least twice a week. Here is an empty plate from a well loved meal :)
