Love the rose garden and the old government house lawn outside of the OGH. The rose garden is absolutely a gem of this place and the little paths in this little park are beautiful. Sometimes I have lunch with my colleague outside of the OGH in a sunny day. Love this old building inside and outside. But the food in the cafe is quite basic and limited.

Beautiful heritage building. There is a cafe inside (for the university and some specific clientelle). The gardens are very nice, specially in a sunny day. The corn fritters I had were very average, but the coffee was good.

An old building with several common rooms which can also be converted into conference or meeting rooms. Mainly for University of Auckland staff members and University of Auckland related affairs. Also have a café inside and a lecture room on the side part of the building.

Old Government House showcases some of the antique interiors. It has a good sitting area and the views are great. There is also a cafe inside the building.

This is also know as the Staff Common Room for the University of Auckland. By day it functions as a cafe with cabinet and to-order food and is frequented by staff from the campus for lunches and meetings. Students can also go there for take-out food. The bar is open all day but the cafe closes in the afternoon, but they do have hot chips and the like to order from the bar. The bar has a good range of revolving beers on tap which usually feature a different craft brewery, and there is a selection of wine and spirits also available.

The preferred spot for a catch up over coffee. They do have a selection of cabinet food. Lovely old building with so much character, friendly staff.
