Real good. Like, REAL good. The brisket burger was the best brisket I've ever had therefore the best burger I've ever had too. Also the best damn buns.
Beware the salted caramel shake though, whoever dreamt up this has odd taste buds. Did not enjoy it. Same for the tropical shake, it was like eating a straight lemon. There's other shakes too, so no dramas. Just make sure you get the chocolate.
Frickin love this place! Tasty as burgers and lovely staff. Definitely worth getting as treat every now and again � or more often if you are a burger fiend like me �

Came in yesterday after seeing post on What Kiwi Vegans Eat FB page, with my omni Dad he had beef burger and loved it I'm Vegan so had Tofu Burger on gluten free bun very nice indeed and hand cut chips so crunchy so so good!
Vegan aoli to die for. Well done guys will be back!

Excellent food. I normally would hate on a burger with no greens, tomatoes etc but this beef burger was too bloody delish! Loads of chunky chips too. Next time il get extra aioli. Love your work ladies!

I absolutely LOVE their vegan buger. I found it to be much tastier than their meat ones that I've tried a couple of times before. Love all the spices they put in it. Cannot wait to have it again soon!
Great looking setup... nice, clean and friendly. We got a chicken burger, beef burger, chips and mac cheese bites.
Beef burger was nice -sauce really nice..but next time will add egg and bacon

My partner and I tried out this place for the first time last night. I wasn't in the mood to eat burgers, but wow this was absolutely delicious and definitely wanted more!
We ordered the beef burger, fries and tropical smoothie. The beef burger was divine, the bun was soft and fresh. I really enjoyed the sauce in the burger, you can definitely taste the homemade difference. I thought the chips were going to be typical fries but they were hand cut, good portion size. I found the Aioli a bit salty but that was no biggy. To top it off the tropical smoothie was delicious too, a nice refreshing drink after a big meal.
I was very full after this and I'm coming back for more :)

Delicious!!!! So much flavour. Super friendly staff, super clean and super yum. The sauce on the beef burger is off the chain and the buns are awesome.... Not usually a highlight in a burger but they are very good!
The chips are the best and the chicken burger is to die for.
They can do the burgers on salad too which is nice if you don't eat bread

Love the name! I think this place was needed badly in this area.. locals must be very happy! Cool quirky place, no seating just a takeaways but everything you would be wanting for a burger and chips place... except for chicken burgers. They don't have that on the menu sadly.
I got the devine sounding vegetarian burger which had a delicious sauce! And I thought was considerably better than the beef burger which I stole a bite from my boyfriend and tasted good but almost like a meat lovers pizza in a burger.
The buns were fantastic, burgers were pretty good. I have had better though, but I have had some stunning burgers as I basically hunt them down. Cool spot to call and stop at for some food to pick up and drive on to piha.

Hubby had the beef and I had the chicken. Both were cooked perfectly with wonderful fresh ingredients.
We split a serve of chips which were wonderfully thick and fluffy in the middle and crisp on the outside. A little disappointed that the pot of aioli wasn’t full but otherwise they were fantastic.
We also tried a vegan shake, the new Tropical one. Really nice and refreshing (and thanks for having vegan shakes!, I can’t drink dairy and this was a nice change).
For the quality of food the price was on point. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Highly recommend. :)
Awesome burgers. Good to see the chip portions have been reduced, too many for even two hungry people to put away. Good vegetarian options but would be nice to see some more experimentation go in to the vege burgers rather than just tofu. Bring back that confit beetroot relish thing you did when you first opened! Only negative is that it's had a Viva review so now everyone knows about it!
The vegan burger I ordered wasn't as great as I had anticipated but the hand cut fries and vegan aoli were so good! I'll definitely be back for more.

It may not look like much but this kitchen operating out of a modified shipping container sure does tick all the boxes for me. The scenery is nothing to rave about of course...no harbour or mountain in the background while you dine. Instead it is on the main road running through the Glen Eden suburb out west opposite Parrs Park. So you can sit at the bench there and watch the cars drive by and whatever is going on in the park. Anyway the place has been there a while now but after constantly going past every day since it's been open we suddenly decided it was time to try it out. The service was good, cheerful which is always a good thing. We both ordered the Prime NZ Beef Burger whch cosists of smashed tomatoes, aged cheddar, pickled onions and homemade aioli.....and of course the beef pattie. I had an egg as an extra which is an extra $2. Also we ordered the fries with aioli and a chocolate milkshake. The order came out as quick as could be expected seeing as there was a few people in front of us and we managed to secure some of the stools by the bench to eat there. Delicious just about sums it all up in one word. The fries were fried just right and the burger was too, tasty as. It's not open on Monday and Tuesdays. We didn't ask but maybe that'll change come summer seeing as this is on the road to Piha one of the most popular beaches in Auckland and the Waitakere Ranges. Anyway top marks to them and probably they do get quite a bit of business from locals but hopefully word will spread and they'll get more from further afield and more of the tourist traffic in summer.Keep it up !!!
One day a big black container appeared in the car park outside Nolas fruit store on west coast road,it looked like a great place to grab a quick coffee so I swung the car in, not intending to eat I was surprised to find a board menu with a vegetarian option for a burger! What! Yes! Ha I was so happy, except it was a chickpea patty 😱 I am VERY picky with chickpea patties as every single one I've ever had has been s**t lol I am happy I gave this one a go because it was so so good! Best vege burger I've had in ages, and since then I've had the marinated tofu burger from here and just today a pumpkin with caramelized onion offering, both top notch! Most excellent handcut fries too! Service is quick and super friendly and I love sitting on the stools in the summer, not good for the winter but that's a meh just jump in your car and have a stoolie lol thanks guys one of the best out west for sure!
Jemima's Kitchen - a little haven with gourmet burgers, hand cut fries, shakes and much more!! Loved every bite. I don't remember the last time I had a good burger like this, glad to know we live around the corner from his place lol Go a long ladies and gents you won't regret it!!
Ill admit it, I live up the road from this new Burger joint (container) and was dismissive at first. Suspicious of some gourmet burger joint selling overpriced burgers out West. We were hungry one night, too lazy to cook. We gave in, stopped by and gave it a try. Damn! that's a tasty burger. God damn Im eating my words now. At $13 bucks a burger, I was satisfied and definitely want to try more. Beef burger was awesome. Juicy. Pork and fennel meat ball burger with coleslaw even better. Good buns too. Unfortunately the wait time was almost 40 minutes due to it being a small set up, so be prepared to wait. Oh, and they close at 7pm.
