Very Very good. Had the NYCB burger. And could not fault the burger. Only thing they could do better is provide more napkins as it can get pretty messy eating it and the one provided was input in the same bag as the burger and already covered in sauce.

I just heard about this place through a friend. I am a big Fish Burger fan & I can say that the Fish Burger I had here is probably the best I have ever tasted. Better than Big J's, Burger Fuel & even cheaper & more filling than 2 McD's Filet-o-Fish's. Will be back to try again

Great find close to work...have been trying the sides for work lunch and loving them. The wedges are brilliant as is the polenta chips. Good service too. Will definitely be going back

Great. Big. Tasty. Tell you what burgermiesters, their burgers are HUGE and delicious - love their big portobello mushroom burger. They'll give Burger Wisconson a run for their $ for sure. Their crinkle-cut hot chips are just like the ones I used to get when I was a kid - bloody lovely! Go guys!

This is a hidden gem in the middle of the burbs with delicious food and a unique set of burger flavour combos. I went for the sweet matilda which has ginger soy and halloumi with perfectly cooked chicken and kūmara fries. Will definitely be bringing more people here on a sunny day! There is some indoor seating too and a homey feel with a big dining table.
Tried a few burgers from here and everyone has been so good! They are big and well worth the money. Sataty chips are yummy aswell.

Never knew there was this burger place hidden here. They have an extensive burger menu and the flavours are pretty amazing.
They pair up ingredients I would have never imagined would go so well in a burger.
The grilled pear with the beef was a highlight.
The server was very friendly and even gave us some gingerbread cookies.
The seating area outside is private and is surrounded by lush greenery. Only slight low-light is the wait time. We waited almost 45minutes for our order but they were pretty busy when we ordered.

It’s just all soo soo good! Something for everyone on the menu, nothing’s disappointing and great value (they’re HUGE). Can’t believe they are better known.
Came in today and ordered the Chipotle double and a side of fries. The burger was huge! Everything was fresh and delicious, cheese was oozing out of the patties and the fries were golden and crispy. Will definitely be back to try some other burgers, absolutely recommend for a burger that will fill you up but not leave you feeling bloated and heavy.
Hi, I came into the store today to get a burger and as I'm a Coeliac I can only eat gluten free food.
I had the Kiwiana Burger lettuce wrapped and even without buns by far it was the best burger i have ever had and the customer service was fantastic.
I also did not have any gluten induced pain or problems after eating.
The food shows that you have quality homemade ingredients cooked with care.
Will definitely be back 100%

Not bad, not bad at all for a local. Burgers are a good size & fillings ratio to bun is spot on. Personally, I felt like it needed a tad more seasoning & sauces, just a tad, other than that the burger was yummo. My partner loved it overall, anymore sauce would kill it he says but each to their own. Wedges were gooooood, nice & crispy, portion size again spot on & chicken tenders were bomb. Looking forward to our next order 😁
Have started going to Saltwater recently and am enjoying their burgers so much. My favourite (so far) is the Doctors Order with the Hot Tots.
Best burger joint in Onehunga!!! 10/10 for there great service and food, the size of the burgers are massive and freshly made will be becoming a regular customer for sure 😊
Just had the Chipotle Double burger, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, now I need a lye down, thanks Saltwater we will be back. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
We ordered takeaways on a friday night. Our order was ready on time for our pick up. The menu has lots of delicious options, it was hard to choose. We decided on the Chicken Cranberry Burger, Pulled Pork Burger, Kumara chips and Kids Burger meal. Everything was really yummy and decent sized portions. We will definitely go back
Tried the blue moon and Chipotle double last night, both were excellent. They take the time to perfect ingredients like caramelised onions and the flavours were balanced and awesome. They do need to get better at predicting wait time as they took significantly longer than I was told on the phone. Personally I wouldn't mind paying another dollar per burger and getting it in half an hour or less.
Awesome burgers! I always go with the NYCB it’s massive. Eat the onion rings first otherwise can’t get your mouth around it. Brings together the good things from Burger Fuel (good buns, salad, cheese but not Burger Fuels beef patties which are too processed and aren’t so good) and best part of Burger Wisconsin (great flame grilled beef patties). Their wedges are good too. We drive from Hillsborough to get burgers from here. Suggest preordering to avoid waiting.
Had the kiwi burger and regular fries from here and I loved it! Fresh ingredients and tons of food at a really cheap price. Will definitely pass up the bigger burger chains in favour of this place from now on!
Only feedback I would give is that a couple more vege burger options would be awesome as I have a few vegetarian friends who like to have some variety to choose from!
Awesome selection of burgers. Interesting specials too if you follow them on social media. Always quality ingredients too. Can get a bit busy during lunch though so I'd advise phoning ahead.
This place is the most amazing burger bar out there, I'm a big burger fan and know a fantastic burger when I get one, and this place provides it. I have also read past reviews and am appalled at people's attitudes, you want a quick, smashed together burger that really won't satisfy..... Go to a drive through,otherwise appreciate that these burgers are put together by hand, with love and that takes time
Absolutely awesome burgers, I had the Peppa Pork burger last night and it was the best pork burger I’ve ever had. Loved the attention to detail of the burger, actually looked like it had been carefully made and not just thrown together. Will definitely be a regular if all their burgers are like this.
Best burgers I’ve had in my 20 years of being in Onehunga. Such filling burgers, they don’t skimp out on the size what so ever. The store is a definite upgrade from the bakery that was there. Going here will be a usual thing from now on!
Went today for the first time. Ordered take away blue moon, chicken cranburger, chicken tenders and chips. Really tasty with good ingredients. The buns are awesome. Will definitely visit again and great to have a good burger place local.
Best gourmet burgers we've had! Ordered 5 different burgers for the team at work. Everyone was raving about them. Better than the other well-known (or not so) burger takeaways. Ingredients are premium, fresh and cooked well. Big sizes too! No more greasy sliders for us. Our new fave lunch joint.

Just ordered a burger - it was seriously good! Was special edition beef burger with bacon, egg, onions, bbq sauce. A big burger, and things did get rather messy. Great chips too! Very impressed, will be back.

Without a doubt, it was the most exceptional burger I have ever had in Auckland. We opted for the GO NUTS burger and loaded fries. The burger had an incredibly delicious smoky flavor and the buns were something truly special. As for the fries, they were absolutely delightful. I owe a huge thanks to my friend for recommending this place!
Tasty burgers made with fresh soft buns. Very popular place but service and food was very efficient. Polenta fries were a little dry and on the small size for the price.
Went here just before the ABs vs SA game at Mt Smart. Was busy but they were bang on with their estimated time for the food (45 mins). Burgers were tasty and we had tater tots.
Great place with a cute garden! Been on my list so long, and it was worth a trip from St Heliers. We had Blue Moon and Portobello. Very tasty. Fries are great as well.

The overall experience deserve 4.5 star, but kid meal set which is perfect size burger with cheese and sauce, drink and fries for $8.5 bridge the gap to make it 5 star. My recommendation to owner. The order area is unnecessary large. I rather you make it smaller and leave more space for kitchen. But fully insulate the order area from smokes and smell of kitchen. We were there for 2 min, the smell and smoke made it hard for us to concentrate to read burger descriptions. Providing that little sauce for 1$ is not helping costumers as well. Recommendation for eaters: the garden space is nice, please make sure to spray some mosquito repellant before coming there, they have some blanket but best to bring warm clothes....select your burger from menu here, the smoke and smell is too much in the shop to read the details. We will definitely visit this place again.
Just had lunch here. Very impressed with the quality and size of the New York Cheese Burger I ordered. The burger patties were juicy and really well seasoned and the loaded fries I had on the side were also delicious. I feel that prices were very reasonable. They also have a beautiful garden area out the back to sit and eat. I will definately be back!

Decided to give it a go after hearing a mate going on about it. Must say, was a great decision. This place is a gem in Onehunga. The burgers are amazing. Love how the menu is displayed. Tried the lamb burger which was delicious and definitely one of the best ones around. The outdoor seating area at the back is really cool and funky. Would love to go back at night for a different feel.
Driven passed this place many times and decided to stop in tonight. Outstanding burgers! Maybe a dozen different types but I had pulled pork and it was epic. Fries were also really good, we had satay loaded fries.
The only downside was a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Phone your order in before leaving to save some time.
You could also swap for an impossible burger ( I think) patty if you want for $3.50.
