Fried chicken is crispy, spicy as advertised and flavourful. Portion sizes are generous. Only critique is when I came in and asked a male waiter if Zomato Gold was available. He said yes. Upon payment, it was confirmed by another lady that they were no longer accepting Zomato.
The chicken is so good! Just a little suggestion, restaurant can provide plastic gloves if customers order the chicken with bone. It will be more convenient.
we ordered a half and half, of fried chicken and seasoned chicken plus chips which came to $42. friendly reminder that you have to order at the counter, we came in under the impression we order at our table. the chicken was very tasty! it could have been more seasoned. and the chips had little to no salt on them also.
but it was an enjoyable meal and we’d go back again.

A very unique fried chicken that makes crunchy delicious noise when you bite. Best with half seasoned
Chicken was so tasty and worth every penny. I had a really good time with my friends till late night because now chicken club closes at 1AM!! I would highly recommend to everyone. You wont be disappointed.
Wasn't sure about this place after reading some of the reviews but can confirm the portions are generous and chicken is good 👌
We had three chicken plates between seven people and the favourite was definitely the Bburinkle (sweet cheese topping). The sauces and radishes are also worth the extra $ to help cut through the grease.
Oooof this was too many pieces of chicken for us. I am just worried about this restaurant because of some other review is kind of bad, they said chicken is so small and not enough to two person but it was not. It was a great experience for me and the portion of chicken was not small and taste was soooo yammy
Loved the crispy chicken with a pale ale, perfect way to spend you afternoon. Price is good for a whole chicken and great taste. We couldn’t even finish the whole dish and took it home for the next day 😋.
Big regular of aotea house. I have tried their all the delicious chicken menu, Its bit pricy but the portion, taste and the service, No doubt. Enjoying Every Week 👍
quite a good food and greeting staffs :D
The food was fantastic! I've eaten at several chicken places, but this one absolutely tops it for me. The portion size was good, and they even gave me extra service! Will be coming back here again.
the portion is much better now. the taste was always excellent.
Best Korean chicken I’ve eaten at so far in Auckland 👍🏼 Loved it so much that there was a time that this is what I had for dinner, 3 nights in a row 😆 Tasty, juicy, crunchy chicken skin—the spicy variant is really spicy indeed. Service and ambiance were ok as well. Will definitely be back! 😊
Love this fried chicken joint! I find it hard to find a place that has the right level of spicyness in their seasoned options, but the chicken club spicy really works for me. Not too hot so it's still enjoyable to eat. The service is average, and the seating plan is kind of awkward. However the chicken is still worth coming here, and they takeaway too!
The best Korean Fried Chicken in Auckland. They are crispy, but not greasy. it was nice that they had boneless option. Soy garlic is an absolute must! I am definitely comming back here for more
Me and a few collegues from work came here for a staff dinner, and the food + atmosphere was perfect for an 'after work' dinner.. Chicken + Beer, what more could you want! We got the Spicy Chicken and Normal Chicken to share between the 12 of us also a few jugs of beer.. A perfect place to unwind with work mates after a long day! I would recomend you try the Boneless Spicy Chicken, Will come back next time..
By far the best chicken I've tasted in my entire life!! No kidding. Your chicken is very addictive. The soy chicken is the best :) two thumbs up!!
We definitely love Korean fried chicken and Chicken club definitely knows what they are doing. Chicken and fries both taste delicious. Price is a little bit high for fried chicken but service is very nice.
Very yummy but the size for price is a bit over “cheap eats” category. Minimum wait for 15-20 minutes for each order as well. Not sure if they are Halal but they had no signs so probably not. Overall, it is a great experience.
Ordered the garlic soy seasoned chicken and the spicy crispy chicken. Honestly speaking, I don’t order korean chicken drenched in sauce as I personally dislike it. But the garlic soy seasoned chicken was not drenched in sauce, was still crispy yet kept the flavours of the sauce. The spicy crispy chicken was also very flavourful and tasty, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The garlic soy chicken is delicious, and the chilli chicken has a good enough kick to it. Great place for a bite after work. The decor is basic borderline too basic, but it is not a place where you will stay too long. Service could also be a little better and more attentive, we have asked for different sauces and they have come back either with the wrong thing or did not understand what we meant when we asked for mayonnaise and aioli.
For me, it is the best fried chicken place in Auckland. Tried the fried chicken with soy sauce during the summer before Christmas.
My most recent visit was made a few days ago when we ordered the half/half chicken; pa dak and the soy sauce. They did make a mistake with our order by serving us with the pa dak only, but staff members were really apologetic and gave us extra service which was really nice.
The area can be confusing as you can order both inside and outside near the bar area. I came here with a friend and we ordered snow chips which were chips sprinkled with cheese, half and half mild flavoured and garlic soy crispy chicken with some beer. The area is clean and tidy with good service. I will say $8 for powdered cheese on chips is a bit of a rip off as although the chips were nice the price wasn’t worth it. However, the chicken on the hand is glorious. We had two large drumsticks of each flavour upon a batch of a small chicken.
The best part about the meal is the chicken was so fresh and well deep fried that we didn’t find it oily. We also didn’t feel sick or bloated after eating which is a big plus sign for me. Beer was $5 for a glass and the lady was kind of enough to split it for two cups and add a little bit more for each. If anyone can’t have spicy the mild flavour isn’t that bad. I’m terrible with spicy food but I enjoyed the mild flavour without crying so it’s definitely good. Like other reviews, I will say order the large portions and not the medium as the large makes it worth the money.

Ordered large crispy half half of honey soy and mild seasoning! SOOOO GOOD never disappoint me! My go to fried chicken place of all time! Honey soy is my fav!! Perfectly crisp on the outside and inside is nice an juicy!! Fav fav fav
Got half and half - soy and mild. Definitely rate the boneless chicken higher than other fried chicken places. Will definitely return to try it with bone in next!
It's been 2 years since I have been a fan of this place. They had to move during this time but I would still go out of my way for this place.
I have yet to find a place that can beat this place.
To bad it has some bad staff. We arrived at 9pm and ask the staff what time they close tonight and she said 11pm. An 1 hour later, we were met with the same staff member saying they are closed. Do the math...
So close to a 5/5 but just not there.
Really good fried chicken here. We got the half spicy crispy and half with spicy sauce. The sauced chicken had a bit more heat than I expected which was good. Chicken was crispy and juicy. The atmosphere of this place is really nice, would definitely recommend for a casual group dinner etc. The squid fries is just ordinary deep fried squid - still pretty good though! The large size was just enough for 2 people. Pricing was alright, pretty standard for Korean fried chicken but definitely not cheap eats or anything.
Service was a little slow considering we were the only people here. However the chicken is DELICIOUS and cooked perfect. If you love crispy fried chicken you’ll love this place
Food: 5/5
I am a K Fried Chicken fan, and the is probably the best fried chicken I’ve tried in Auckland. It has a perfect crispy, crunchy coating (as advertised) with a great amount of sauce for the spicy flavours. Comes with pickled radish. It’s nice to have the choice of boneless chicken. Warning: The spicy flavour might be too spicy for some. If you love a lot of heat, this is delicious though.
First time visiting yesterday, and I loved the place. But the food, starting with the chicken was exceptional. It was the best that I've ever tasted from other eatery's. Loved the dressing on the salad. Had a lovely time. Definitely visiting when coming into the city.
I’ve been searching for a Seasoned Korean Fried Chicken with a reasonable price in the city. This have by far the most reasonable and it actually tastes good. I have came here twice because after the first time, I just wanted to come back again. The first time I ordered large boneless seasoned chicken and the portion was huge. My boyfriend and I struggled to finish it but we finally did. So, the second time we ordered the medium and to be honest the portion was only one third of the large which didn’t not seem worth it as we paid $24 for medium and $34 for large. The large is so worth it. Got some chips too but they were quite average. I would defiantly come back again for more.
Fairly new fried chicken place located in Aotea Square, situated between Oko and Coffee club. The place is very spacious with taller tables and stools near the Aotea Square side and table around the back.
We had a Combo C to share between four, which came with salad, chips, two jugs of beer and two plates of fried chicken. You are able to do half and half with the seasoned chicken. The beer choices were Monteiths.
The chicken was really crispy but thought that it lacked flavour. The seasoned chicken had a bit more flavour. The spicy seasoning is fairly spicy. The garlic soy one was alright.
Nice place for a drink or two with some fried chicken but I would stick with the seasoned ones since they were tastier.
Best fried chicken ever but the relocation and interior design of the place is strange. It's like a fried chicken hut inside a rather boogie restaurant setting, I don't really get it. Also did not provide any plastic gloves or bucket to my table but did to the table beside me sooo :p
This restaurant has recently changed hands.
Best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Great range of beers too. Pricing is on point! Will definitely go back again.
