Great cafe fantastic service and amazing food. I have been here a few times but first time since the floods. Love this place.
Great food , love the pastries, love the croissants and the baguettes.
But my favourite is the pastry. Is French as it can get in Mt Albert
Excellent as usual! Love the new layout. The Croque Madame a must try!! 🤩😍
Heavenly, absolutely divine ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Friendly staff
Located across the road from the Mt Albert Rocket play ground, plenty of street parking
Had a custard fruit pastry, an almond croissant and some other savoury pastry with feta on top. Really enjoyed the pastry, and I like that the sweet items weren't excessively sweet. It was a much needed treat on a rainy work day.
Thanks so much for the baguette lunch roll you prepared us (actually at Pt Chev.). I'm not generally one for French bread and thought I'd just buy a filled roll to keep my daughter happy. I was not prepared for the taste explosion that followed. This is no ordinary French cafe. Thank you for the exp
Super friendly staff. Great for a small bite and coffee. If you have a sweet tooth, should try out their small dessert platter along with a drink. The lemon meringue and hazelnut toffee tarts were good.
Tried Le Benedicte and eggs on croissant for brunch. The food is tasty reminding my friends of their recent trip to France. The staff are very friendly. Also tried the vegetable baguette sandwich as takeaway which was delicious and flavourful.
It was unfortunate to see the cafe closed after the flooding, but they've got the pop up store in the back carpark! Looking forward to the cafe opening again so we can sit and enjoy the delicious pastries!
From interior design perspective, use the natural timber making hanging shelves and the bench deco, it creates the naturally comfortable atmosphere.

Nice place for catching up, and taste the French style here.
Really nice place with amazing food, friendly staff, and good service. The wait can be a bit long sometimes as they are so popular. Worth it though!
We ordered big breakfast and egg on croissant and they were amazing. We liked that the siroin was included in big breakkie instead of sausages. The croissant was really good too. We also tried macarons and they just melted in our mouth, so good!!
Best croissants ever! I was really appreciative that the staff are so understanding and provide an outdoor booth for those of us who are a bit too nervous to venture indoors at the moment. So happy to see them expand to Mt Albert as the Point Chevalier location was always a must-go for me! 🥐 ✨
Havent been in a year, but the food was fantastic as always and definitely worth a trip to experience the properly reopened cafe. Special shoutout to the amazing steak baguette, delicious fesh bread, perfectly cooked steak and a velvety delicious house made sauce. Cannot recommend enough. Go there.
Went here when it reopened! Loved the atmosphere and the almond croissant was so nice. Coffee was good too ;)
Pyrenees is a fine French delicatessen. Certainly one of Auckland's more enjoyable family cafes. I hadn't been here for some years and I rated it 100 per cent then. It's even better now. It has crepes, galettes, pastries, bread, superb cheese and remarkable sausages.
I smoked salmon in a tiny pot wi
Dairy free banana cake, Oat milk with double shot. Love the food, and the welcoming attitude and kindness. Every time I see my phsyo I stop for a quick coffee and a bite. Cheers
Nice little French cafe, food is very delicious, benne with classic tasty hollandaise sauce and home cured salmon.
Deserts are next level too.
