Too bad I didnt take a photo but it was amazing! Pizza slice I got was nice and hot so fresh!
Tried the Sal's pizza for the very first time . Must say they have the best pizzas in city . Perfectly cooked with scrumptious amount of toppings and varieties. We had ordered the large pizza and 3 people can have enough from 1 large Pizza. Beautiful ambience and friendly staff.
Nice place. Always fresh pizza being served and those knot garlic bun things are to die for. It's so good. Also I love the Italian sausage pizza. Worth the price I think (considering how huge the pizza size are and the quality you get for it)
Really friendly staff, I come here often with groups of people and although the store is small (as most sals branches are) they are accommodating and the food remains fast hot and fresh
Customer service was great! Wasn’t busy but our pizza took a lil while (maybe online orders, but hey at least you know your pizza will be fresh!). Ordered half cheese half meatball and their new NY cheesecake. Waited a bit, was good to find it was cleaner than the last Sals we visited! The pizza was served hot and steamy in its takeaway box -that’s how you know its cooked to order! Melted chewy cheese with a lovely crispy crust yum! Was just let down with the serving size for the cheesecake! definitely not worth $5 unfortunately. Will be back for more pizza though!
Sals Pizza will always be my top pizza place. The right amount of cheese and tomato sauce. You can never go wrong with Garlic knots too. Always a clean place and friendly staff. Water is also provided
I absolutely loved the pizza. So much topping and flavour. Only complaint was the wait which was almost half an hour. We paid about $36 for the pizza which is not bad. Overall will recommend
How long can these folk keep up a great recipe for awesome pizza, yummy chicken wings and that Hot Sauce..woweee..plus they serve beer and cider...Sals New Lynn folks...has arrived and how!
And it is not fair on consumers that Ben & Jerry ice cream is stocked in their freezers...WoooHoo..a double wammy ...All is good at Sals...
Been into here a few times now and had a couple of good chats with the guy running it. Even gave me some freebies towards the end of the day. Good food, good people, good vibes.
Glad Sal's is now in a suburban-ish place, accessible to us without having to go to the CBD! Good location, too, surrounded by eateries.
I've been over the $5 Cheese slice for a long time now but the Buffalo Chicken pizza is outstanding - its appearance, aroma & flavour... just addictive! The Pepperoni Wheel is really enjoyable, too. . . the garlic knots are less yum than they seem due to bring only subtly tasteful on the outside, and nothing-y on the inside. The subtlety is an appreciable touch but c'mon, the inner, doughy part is less appetising than just munching on pizza crust!
Cool *wink, wink* to see Ben & Jerry's in here, too... Perhaps they should also look into offering drinks other than the typical ones in their fridge? Convenient lil' takeaway box, I'll say that, as well.
Quiet weekdays are great to dine-in but obviously, the pizza slices aren't fresh out the oven at all times. Still good, though! While Sal's is pricey, as long as you love what you get and you don't consume their food too frequently, it definitely feels worth it.
This new pizza franchise store has got a good atmosphere with nice options on pizzas. However their menu logic is a bit hard to get. The customer service was good.
